Lincoln Station

I think this is the best café in the neighborhood. They have been around for a while, so they have their customer service system and food down pat. Their prices give you a very good value, considering how good the food is. I recommend the oatmeal, which is so decadent and hearty, and beautifully presented. The social scene is not overly sceney, which is refreshing. It’s a nice place with nice customers and employees. The drip coffee is okay, but at $2.50 it’s amazing. The bathroom is cold in the winter, so be ready for that, if you’re going to sit down. Overall, Lincoln Station accomplishes what most cafés cannot.

I love fresh orange juice here , it was so refreshing and good. And my friends order other drinks, they said nice as well. Good atmosphere and lot of seat both inside and outside. Located bot dar from Brooklyn museum, and Subway.

The place is chill and warm, the staff is very welcoming. We had a breakfast sandwich and it was seriously good 👏🏻! The coffee was also delicious. They have shared inside sitting and tables on the outside too. We decided to sit on the little bar by the window and it was very comfortable. They offer free WiFi at the place.

A favorite local cafe with great food. Low key unpretentious vibes with great prices. Kale salad, lamb chili, BEC, bone broth and kombucha on tap are my favorites.

The Lincoln Station is a wonderful neighborhood cafe located in Brooklyn, New York and one that has been open and proudly serving customers for over a decade. It offers guests a wide selection of freshly made cookies, cakes, delicious salads and sandwiches and beverages ranging from beer, coffee, soda, and wine. In February of 2019, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Lincoln Station and we loved our dining experience!!! We were warmly welcomed and treated very well by the restaurant’s staff and we enjoyed our meals. Both my wife and I found our sandwich meals to be well cooked, seasoned and delightfully delicious!!! What guests will also love about the Lincoln Station is its location. The cafe is very close to many of Brooklyn’s prominent attractions, ranging from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. When visiting Brooklyn, my wife and I highly recommend that you visit and dine at the Lincoln Station!!! You’ll very much enjoy their service and menu options!!!

Came here to try the broccoli ricotta sandwich and was not disappointed. At first bite it just seems like ricotta cheese and broccoli surrounded by a bun, but with each additional bite you discover new subtle flavors that merge together into something unique, something you’ve never tasted before. Highly recommend this one for anyone in the area.

This place is a vibe. The staff is always friendly. The place and bathroom is always clean. The variety of teas and coffee is on point. Good for all ages however it does get crowded and the line maybe long depending on the time.

My husband and I are here at least once a week either to pick up coffee or coffee and sandwiches. I usually get the avocado egg sandwich that comes with two fried eggs, avocado, and jalapeño salsa. I have to specify a runny egg or it'll come fully cooked. The jalapeños salsa is so good! Husband gets the egg sandwich and likes that it comes on a Orwashers bun. The chicken salad sandwich is filling but I wish it came with more flavor. I'll usually take items to go and add more sauces or something to give it more flavor. But overall it's not bad. This place is open early and closes late which is great for the neighborhood.

Most of the workers are nice and it's a comfortable place to do work but this one lady comes in and asks everyone for money and won't leave them alone or take no for an answer and she smells like urine while you're eating your food and the employees do NOTHING. I have complained to the manager or the shift lead and nothing is done. They don't even try to ask her to leave. It's disrespectful to customers and makes it seem like they don't care at all. I told the lead she was bothering everybody and he said "Yeah she is." How am I supposed to tip you if you don't care about things like that?

Okay! Yum! I've never had an exciting chicken salad sandwich. This is not just a regular sandwich. Got a little messy but this was fun to eat. Plus an iced coffee, perfect. Service was fast and the vibes was nice. I'd definitely come back to give another sandwich a try.

I hade the best chicken sandwich here. If you are hungry and want a high protein sandwich, get their chicken sandwich which is piled to overflowing with delicious roasted chicken. It really hit the spot after visiting Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Lincoln Station is a short 5 min walk down the block from the Brooklyn Botanic. I highly recommend. Oh yes! I got a chocolate chip cookie on my way out and it was one of the best I have ever had! Fresh with big discs of chocolate. Yum!

I find it weird that I've never done a review for this place. Especially the way I was obsessed w/ their rotisserie chicken sandwich. No longer insanely obsessed but it's still a good sandwich. I was reminded a few days ago when I got. Unfortunately, that's all I got. I don't stay here when I get it. I either take out or get delivery and its the only thing I get.

Yummy food at a fair price. I like that there's always a crowd. It's a pretty cozy local cafe and a great place to go if you work from home but need to get out of the house for a bit. I liked the kale salad a lot. The meatball sandwich was pretty good but I probably wouldn't get it again. Haven't gone for happy hour but it looks like they have some good deals. Definitely stop by if you're in the neighborhood looking for a bite, but I wouldn't say you need to go out of your way to come here.

I arrived at LS and ordered said veggie to go. As I waited, , place was pretty packed. It looked more like Brooklyn College cafeteria. I also checked out the menu: Rotisserie Chicken Sammy, pulled pork, kale salad. I stumbled upon a carton of watermelons used for their Watermelon Agua Fresca. After 19 minutes waiting and snapping photos ( patrons might have thought I was a City Food Inspector, getting curious looks my friends). I took my to go and skedaddled to BBG. Looked at my Chopped Veggie and was quite pleased. Results? Whole grain Ciabatta: scrumptious Cheese: American, not melted. Disappointed Avocado: Creamiest, dreamiest Tomatoes: ruby red and sweet Arugula: Fawns fave greens Red Onions:, on point Mayo: caper, not a fan Drink: Jasmine bubble tea from Banh Mi Place ***across from LS. Super fresh and delicious food. Got the pulled pork sandwich with kimchi. Great flavors and a healthy serving of pulled pork. I would have liked more kimchi on it. The chicken sandwich is a chicken salad sandwich. Tastes super fresh and again a ton of meat. I personally don't like celery so I didn't enjoy that but if you like it I'm sure it would be good! The breakfast bar was super flavorful and full of variety. I'd love the recipe for this. There's a good amount of seating inside especially a large communal table. There is plenty of seating outside as well.

They are like McDonald's fries, but better and hand-cut. Also, the rotisserie chicken sandwich is lights out. I hate celery with a passion, but I still love this sandwich! Raspberry shortbread is amazing. Lincoln Station also has the bougiest bacon egg and cheese in the neighborhood with a runny egg. Make sure to ask for the egg hard if you don't want a yolk squirt! I love Lincoln Station!!!

I have enjoyed every visit here when I am in Brooklyn. The food is excellent and it is very close to the Brooklyn Museum.

Stopped in here with after attending an exhibit and had a great time. I will def be back ! Food: I ordered the hand cut French fries they were pretty standard and basic but good. One portion is good enough to share for 2 people and pretty affordable. The chai latte was pretty standard as well but it was tasty and I enjoyed. Service: The baristas were friendly and kind and accommodating. Truly appreciate the gentlemen who helped me. Ambiance: Minimal. Artsy and spacious. Dimly lit and you can wfh or just utilize the space to work on some projects. Not noisy and cozy. Although depending on where you sit you can feel a draft of the door openings and closing

Stopped in at 5pm for coffee and snack after Brooklyn Museum "Solid Gold" exhibit. The chai latte and pulled pork kimchi sandwich was delish! Local vibe with customers working on laptops.

I've wanting to try this place for a while, and I finally got the chance to I stop by on a Wednesday which was already pack so we decided to seat outside. I was shock how quickly the service is going. I tried their lunch menu sandwich. It was absolutely mouthwatering!! Both sandwiches tasted so good I was like happy to do my happy dance silently in my seat! I can't wait to come back! I would love to try their lunch their breakfast menu.

I went to Lincoln Station after walking around Brooklyn Botanical Garden. As per Google Map, this was the closest location for a cup of coffee. The line was long at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. It wrapped around the small space. I ordered a large coffee; the cost was $5.54. The service could be better. I noticed the trash can overflowing and garbage was scattered near it. The worker emptied the trash can and he didn't bother to deal with the floor. They do have A rating on NYC health website. Hence, I would come back to get their chicken sandwich. When I was waiting on the line, I noticed most of the customers eating it.

I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and a fantastic cold brew. This place is always packed for a reason. The chocolate chip cookie was also tasty. Sat outside on a beautiful day and ate all of it....bliss.

Great place to grab lunch with family. Sit outside on the covered patio built to accommodate social distancing. So nice to be able to enjoy a cool fall afternoon. For lunch, the kale salad is so fresh and satisfying. The egg sandwich is a popular breakfast choice. Two fried eggs, cheese and delicious sauce. So good. Want something warm on a breezy afternoon? The lamb chili was perfect. Dip the baguette slices in the lamb chili. Yum! Add a latte and you have a perfect meal with family or friends.

I used to live nearby and loved this place. I was in the neighborhood and stopped by for their kale salad with rotisserie chicken on top. It is usually amazing despite having so few ingredients but this time I crunched down on something unpleasant. It was a tiny piece of plastic or glass, I'm not sure. It was the size of a piece of salt. I saved it to look it over and it definitely wasn't salt because it didn't dissolve. I was worried I cracked a tooth but it was not my tooth. It was a foreign object. It was very upsetting because I had to throw away most of the salad that cost me $16.95. Their prices are constantly going up! I regret going because of what I found in my salad.

Lincoln Station benefited from us going to the Brooklyn Museum to see Picasso and Monet. I was thoroughly disappointed with what I had. I ordered kale (yup, not with anything) -and they called it a salad - and it was expensive. I don't know how someone in another Yelp review thought the kale salad was 'so fresh and satisfying.' So not. The others ordered egg sandwich-two fried eggs, melted cheddar, salsa rosa, with orange veggie avocado and ohwashers bun) and a veggie avocado and cheese sandwich - cheddar, pickled red onion, caper mayo, tomato, arugula or multigrain bread). I wasn't impressed - but those that had their sandwiches liked them more than my salad. We sat outside which was nice to do. Apparently, this cafe is open late so that's a big plus for this area.

All breakfast items and coffee is what i usually have. Everything is great and staff is always nice and friendly!

Rotisserie chicken sandwich was pretty good. A lot of chicken in every bite. Bacon and egg sandwich was bit greasy, but not terrible. Overall the vibe of the place was nice, and the food was so so. Very close to the 2 and 3 trains.

I stopped by here after a long walk at Prospect Park. The kale salad with chicken and avocado is a bit overpriced, but I did enjoy it, and it was filling; the chicken could use a little more seasoning. There's a lot of people spilled over the cafe working and taking up space. It's definitely a no-frills spot and the menu selections are limited.

I've loved this place for the many years I've been coming. Everything is delicious and the environment is just perfectly Brooklyn. This week there was a technical issue with a special delivery I ordered for a friend's first meal back from the hospital. The manager Anna handled the situation with graciousness and excellent service, going to great lengths to make it right for me and my friends. Il really grateful for her care!

nightmare daughter lived on block with this place for years impressive chicken rotisserie fantastic done to perfection. moved to ditmas park for some time product as recalled. Now complete garbage. continued ordering but quality is beyond horrible burgers are uncertain sometimes they come with red onions which i never ordered fries frequently undercooked. DONE with this place owners clearly sold to those unable to keep quality up so it was sold for too high a price. hope these awful people did not take paper as they deserve to lose investment.

Well I went there for a breakfast sandwich and they accidentally added bacon to mine so I had to give it to my roommate who said it was okay not great. But I guess look out for bacon.

Food here is yummy albeit small but it's just a good vibe! Always bustling. Note that they don't allow laptops during lunchtime, so not the best place to work.

Was craving burgers one day so we decided to give it a try in the neighborhood. We ordered in person but ate in the car. It was a bit too chilly for outdoor dining, although they did have it available. The Cheeseburger was a good burger, but not great. I didn't like the over powering arugula at first but something about the slightly burned bread with cheese and onions helped balance the arugula all together. We paired it with a ginger beer which was great.

The hubs loves this place and insists that Lincoln Station serves the best BEC in Prospect Heights. While I think it's a bit on the heavy side, I also enjoyed it and understand the appeal. Inside is laid back and welcoming to sit and relax. Service is just right and coffee is good. We will continue to be regulars.

I'm a bit hesitant to write this review, but it's warranted given the poor service. I've been coming to Lincoln Station for many years. I like their sandwiches. As an avid tea drinker, I decided to treat myself to their ice tea today. The tea had a coffee taste and when I mentioned something to the barista, she scuffed and said, "Well, it's black tea, what do you expect?" Does she not understand that coffee beans and tea leaves are not the same thing? I suggested that maybe they brewed the tea in the same pot as they do for coffee and she brushed off the suggestion. She then proceeded to give me a second tea as if that solved the problem. I left -- the $5 wasted was not worth the aggravation -- but it will be a while before I come back.

Red wine went down easy, balanced flavor. Lentil soup hit the spot on a rainy day. Love the covered outdoor space. Thank you

Nice restaurant that's well executed. Prices a little on the higher side but you can tell the food is good quality. Portions are decent too. I opted for the rotisserie chicken sandwich, which was like a warm chicken salad. It had good flavor with a nice crunch and was served on quality bread. Staff was very helpful in helping me decide what to get and how much food I needed. Service took a little longer while but not unreasonably long. Everyone was working hard. I'm only giving it 4 Stars because of overall value, but I think this is a great spot for a casual spot.

I had the brocoli and ricotta sandwich. Not bad. I ordered it without Mayo and it was still a bit too heavy/greasy for me. I wish it had had more raisins. Odd combo but it works. The place is funky but it was obviously so as I walked in, so I can't complain about that.

Have you ever heard of a broccoli sandwich? Neither have I and it was shockingly amazing. I recently moved down the block and every time I pass it, it's always crowded. It looks like it's a very popular spot. I'm excited to go back and try other things, still blown away by the broccoli sandwich.

I went in there for the first time to grab breakfast and was excited to try them out since their Google reviews are great... but I was only disappointed in my breakfast. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with avocado (two: one for myself and one for my husband) and two hot chocolates: needless to say the bacon egg and cheese was a disappointment. The bacon was undercooked and all you get is literally one strip of bacon. I paid around $40 and it was NOT worth it at all. The hot chocolate was alright but definitely not worth the price... it was not hot but warm... I called the order over the phone so I don't know what the service is like but when I walked in I did not feel welcomed. As far as the ambiance... it seemed chill when I walked in but again not too sure because I picked up and left.

The Broccoli ricotta Sandwich was to die for! Biting into the bread was so soft yet crisp. But biting through the broccoli was a bit messy as the stocks of these vegetables can be pretty tough... but this is a combo that I would never have put together myself! And for my peeps who can't do the spice, as a warning it has pepper flakes that give it some heat as you are eating it. The vibes to this place is very chill. People definitely coming and going. The ones who stay are trying to be busy on their laptops lol. Great local spot in the neighborhood to check out!

Had the fried broccoli sandwich which is super filling and a solid comfort food. It's got cheese so is not vegan. The sandwich is nicely seasoned with spice and definitely has tons of broccoli. Probably would be an ideal sharing item for two if not too hungry. The only downside is it's super greasy.

The atmosphere is so Brooklyn and the food is made fresh with quality ingredients. I recommend the French fries.

This place is great for a quick bite or grabbing beers! I stopped by here after going to the Brooklyn Museum to grab a bite. First, they have outdoor seating with Wi-Fi and you can bring your dog! I saw a lot of folks working from here, so be mindful. The service was great! The staff took my order quickly and brought out the food. You will need to get water/ utensils/ napkins by yourself inside. I got their rotisserie chicken sandwich which they seemed to be pretty well known for. I personally do t like celery in my sandwich so I just picked them out (easy since they were bigger pieces). The sandwich came warm with large pieces of white and dark meat. This was enough to satisfy me for several hours. Tip: grab enough napkins because it can get messy.

This may sound random, but they have the yummiest scone I have ever tasted! It is not only huge, but it is so darn good. I believe I was attending a wedding at the Brooklyn Botanical garden, and I randomly popped in here and grabbed a coffee along with a scone. And man, they know how to make a scone. A neighborhood favorite, the egg sandwich is so simple with its egg and cheese, but the bread and the eggs are always cooked perfectly. Roll is consistently so soft. $7 with tax and tip but it's a nice treat. I've tried all the others in the area like Lula Bagel, Colina Cuervo but they don't compare. Some indoor high chairs and a few tables outside. Seems like a popular date spot or casual hangout with friends. Service is good.

Came in on a Wednesday morning to grab some coffee. I thought I ordered a latte, but must've accidentally said coffee. When I politely said something to the guy at the register he rudely remarked how I ordered coffee & didn't offer to instead get me when I intended to order, even if it meant charging me the difference. There's a way to go about honest miscommunications & that's not it. Working with guests to give them a happy experience means returning customers. Super disappointing because I was with my girlfriend who frequents this cafe all the time. Not both are hesitant bout coming back. Also regret leaving the 22% gratuity just to be spoken to like that.

I love studying / working here. Note that they turn off the wifi 12-3pm for lunch. Their drinks are good but no flavors for lattes, and the chicken sandwich is tasty but a little bland. Overall I'm very glad to have this in the neighborhood.

I used to go here all the time when I lived around the corner. When I'm in the area I go back. Food is great and so affordable. The chicken dinner with fried broccoli and potatoes is amazing. Really well priced and delicious. I also love that they have kombucha on tap. The chicken sandwich is great too with onions and the herbs they put on it. The broccoli ricotta sandwich probably had a whole head of broccoli on it. Very filling. But too spicy for my tastes and more mayo then ricotta was on it.

I've stopped in at this place several times in the past, and is is always PACKED with laptop sardines. THIS time, it was only 80% packed, and there was a quiet table available in the corner, so I decided to stay. I ordered a terrific iced coffee from a super duper barista and rested at that table. Wonderful!

I only discovered this convivial cafe by accident when I was waiting to meet my friend Carlos at the Brooklyn Museum. I was almost an hour early coming from Lower Manhattan on the 2, so of course, I looked on the Yelp app. My objective was to find a quality cup of coffee nearby as it was getting colder than a witch's tit. I found Lincoln Station just a couple of blocks away, and it was certainly abuzz with activity as most of the seats were occupied, especially around the central communal table (photo: http://bit.ly/2UTB6TF).
