It was my birthday evening and I had made a reservation a few weeks prior to Lincoln Steakhouse. I had heard amazing things about it. My husband, father, three-year-old son, and I had a reservation for four at 5:30 PM. We had checked into our room at the JW Marriott earlier that day and spent the day at the pool. We ate a lot while we were at the pool, so we decided to do kind of a family style order. Upon arrival, we were graciously greeted by Meredith who is such an amazing host. She really took to our three-year-old son and she even took us outside, and took great photos of us with a beautiful background. Shout out to Merideth who was fantastic. We were escorted to our table. She gave us the option of having a booth or a regular table and we chose the booth. We were greeted by our server, Harry. He was great, very attentive and also very funny. Cracking jokes. Really able to speak to the menu. My father and husband ordered some beers while my son ordered orange juice and I stuck with water. They brought out those delicious, flaky bread, poppers with interesting homemade, herbed butter. We ordered scallops, the New York strip, the Romain salad, and a side of whipped mashed potatoes and we all shared. My son had the macaroni and cheese off of the kids menu. They have a great kids menu that has steak, chicken, a lot of good options. Then you get to choose your side as well, we chose fruit. We all shared, and it was the perfect amount for all of us. The scallops were about $65 and they only came with three but they were delicious and came in this delicious, corn and vegetable medley with a spicy sauce underneath. Not too spicy though. The New York strip was big and definitely shareable and paired with the mashed potatoes deliciously. The salad was yummy and also shareable. Overall, between the complimentary bread and the orders we placed, it was the perfect amount of food. They brought me out a complimentary birthday cake. It was delicious. It was like chocolate mousse, and they rimmed the plate with some kind of alcohol because when they served it to me, they lit it on fire, and it was pretty cool. Overall, if you're looking for a fine dining experience, expect the prices to be higher than usual, but paying for that experience. Service was extraordinary, very short wait times for everything to come out, delicious food. Great environment. It definitely got busy, the later we were there, so I would recommend making a reservation. Also, try to get that golden hour outside and have someone take photos of you by the mountains because it's truly breathtaking.
