We only had a few drinks and played darts, the crowd was cool, the bar had an older bar feel. The bar tenders were really cool and chill!

If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great drink specials and classic bar games, Lincoln Tap Room in Lakeview is a solid choice. I dropped by on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised to find that all drinks were half off, and they offered free pool and darts—can't beat that! The vibe is retro and unpretentious, with red lighting and a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in for a few hours. I spent around $20 on a couple of beers and a cocktail, which is a steal in this city. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming feel of the place. While it's a Steelers bar, the crowd was diverse and inclusive, making it a great spot for anyone looking to unwind. Overall, it's a great neighborhood bar that offers good value and a relaxed environment.

Google
When me and my friends went there was amazing drink deals and free darts. We had a great time in the calmer atmosphere and found the service to be friendly. All too often you feel like bars in this city are just ripping you off so you can stand in a crowded room. This bar actually feels like the neighborhood hangout spot a bar should be. I don't often leave reviews, but this spot is worth the 5/5 that I'm giving it.

Google
Best place to have your birthday bash! No deposit, great price for a drinking wristband, plus they have the back area for you to decorate! Staff were SO kind and made it so special. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun birthday night out ✨🥂

Google
Had a blast at Lincoln Tap Room last night—grabbed a round of Revolution Anti‑Hero drafts and Sailor Jerry cocktails, plus free darts and pool made it a total hoot. Ended up dropping bout $30 for apps we brought in & a few extras at the bar. Staff was solid, vibes were chill – that Lakeview dive-bar energy is 💯. Will def be back!

This is my second time hosting a party here and both times it has exceeded my expectations! The staff was super accomodating. The party package is unmatched. I would definitely reccomend them again and again!

Google
Updating a couple years after my original review: best bar in Chicago, without a doubt. Great bar! They have darts and pool, which is free Tuesday-Thursday. The bartenders are a delight, they are very informed about the beers on tap and seemed genuinely happy to chat with me and my friends. It’s clear they love their neighborhood and customers and just want everyone to have a fun and safe time! Really good drink deals as well, especially the daily specials. I plan to book a party here at some point, they have great packages.

Google
Great time. The bartender was a pro. The mood spanned a pub of yore with modern accoutrements. Will be returning!

Yelp
World-class service and atmosphere. Perfect place to go on a Friday night if you want to play darts or billiards.

Yelp
Encountering Lincoln Tap Room is akin to coming across a species that you feared may be endangered or even extinct: a unique mellow bar with great atmosphere, nice selection and a vintage soul. I was there on a Sunday for one drink and stayed for five in no small part from the excellent service of bartender Dave who was cheerful, knowledgeable and great raconteur. I look forward to my next trip.

Yelp
I love it here so much good service and so friendly. I come here a lot. Go Steelers! Good times

Yelp
Great bar atmosphere is good bartenders are great no food but you can just walk across the street and bring something in

Yelp
Too many good things to say about my favorite bar. I moved in Lakeview a year ago and walked around to find somewhere cool to get a better vibe of the neighborhood. Lucky me, I came across Lincoln Tap! All the bartenders I've met here have been so pleasant and personable, and really care about everyone who steps in here. It's crazy, I thought bars like this only existed in movies. The music's great, the drinks are delicious and CHEAP and the bartenders are literal angels. Don't believe me? Check this hidden gem out for yourself

Yelp
Had my friends birthday party here. Great party package deal and cannot brag about the staff enough! Just so fun and a great vibe, shout-out to everyone who works there! Such a great place.

Yelp
I'd give it ten stars if I could. The only thing wrong about this place is that they don't have merch. I'd love to sport a Lincoln tap room shirt around town. Great prices, good selection, and awesome vibes. Love playing darts here - it's a classic Chicago dive

Yelp
Just had my birthday party in the back area. Would highly recommend. They do great drink deals and drink packages and the bartenders are great

Yelp
Really fun, love half off tuesdays! Love the bartender so nice. Great drinks! Awesome vibes all around.

Yelp
I'd give them 6 stars if I could!!! Hosted our engagement party here and everyone was SO wonderful and helpful. Service was fantastic, party package was great! Such kind people who took great care of us and made us feel so celebrated!

Yelp
We have come here after our concerts at the Atheneum theater nearby. Great "dive" feel with ample wide open spaces, low-key dim atmosphere, goofy decorations, old-character feel, good beer selection and some bar food. Vintage Chicago!
google avatar

Zachary H.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars to go to. Cheap drinks and the bartenders are super friendly. Tuesdays everything is half off and free pool and darts. Can't beat that!

Yelp
I had my 30th birthday party here a few weeks ago with 35 friends and family in attendance. Anthony reserved the back room for us at no charge and had great priced open bar packages for me to choose from. He was very accommodating and allowed me to bring in decorations and food. I had a great time and so did my guests. Staff was kind and fast. Thank you Anthony and the Lincoln Tap Room!

Yelp
Lincoln Tap Room is the best place to go in Chicago if you are a Steelers fan. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was in Pittsburgh just from the number of Steelers fans and the Steelers memorabilia on the walls. I became an instant fan of this place when my friend, a Steelers fan, invited me to watch the Steelers game with them. Lincoln Tap Room gives off a hole in a wall kind of vibe where everyone is welcoming and treats everyone like family. I'm not a Steelers fan but I found myself cheering when they scored along with the other fans and sing along to the corny remixed songs every so often. The thing I was not a fan of was the music because the bar remixed every song they could think of to involve the Steelers or Pittsburgh to some capacity. I love my Bears but I found myself slowly going crazy after the 20th remixed song. The bartenders always made sure our glasses were never empty and we were always entertained. After the Steelers game went off all the fans in the bar took a picture in front of bar and it really gave off a family vibe. I can't wait to go back and experience the great vibe that Lincoln Tap Room gives off!

Yelp
This is a joint. A JOINT. And that's what makes it great. Dark, dim and slightly shabby. Been here forever. Cheap booze and lots of it. If I was here before, I don't remember it. Popped in here last weekend for aperitivo time, and had AWESOME BARTENDER, Holly mix us up a couple of fantastic martinis. This woman is a pro. A PRO. Perfectly made, icy cold and dry. Great joint. Pop in for a couple of pops.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday night for a quick drink and hangout with some friends. To my pleasant surprise, on Tuesdays, everything is half-off! They have a decent selection of draft beer, and I had one for only $3.50. And there was a dog behind the bar which was pretty cool.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
This place puts out an unpretentious vibe and the patrons are a pretty normal crowd. They have a solid draft list (e.g. Ommegang Witte, Left Hand Milk Stout, Goose Island Green Line) and good specials, such as $4 Bell's drafts on Saturday. They were also pushing Two Brothers The More the Merrier (a holiday ale with chocolate and coconut) for two bucks; this seems like an attempt to get rid of an underperforming beer past its prime. Then again, two dollars is pretty cheap for a pint of craft beer any way you slice it. I came for a semi-private party; our group had reserved the back area, which started at the stage and extended to the rear wall. We had a dedicated server who was very attentive. Thumbs up on the arrangements. Based on signage, it seems that this joint hosts burlesque shows and Pittsburgh Steelers games on the regular. They have pool and darts and more seating than the average bar of the same size. There are a few TVs but not an obnoxious profusion like most places. I honestly can't think of any complaints, except that it was a little hot inside and that the men's room door did not close. It's a pretty good spot for those times when all you want to do is drink and hang out. Which is all of the time, isn't it?
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful party packages! I had my party there last night. We did the 25 dollar package for 3 hours. It includes well drinks, beer & wine. The staff was great & friendly. It was clean & a very cool vibe. Will be visiting again!!

Yelp
There's a lot of bars in Chicago. That's kind of what's great about this town. But I've been here a dozen times, and I have to say, for what it lacks, there are plenty of great things it makes up for. There's no wifi here--maybe only a half-dozen drinkable beers on tap, at best. And not a lot of rotation. But this is where you need to go if you want the quintessential dive bar experience. So what's so great about this place? Plenty of seating, sure. Pool table in the back, of course. And there's always classic rock playing throughout the place. It's lit low enough to be intimate without the muted lights growing annoying. And guaranteed--this place has some of the best bar tenders you'll ever meet in all of Chicago. Let's talk about some of these characters a little bit: there's the old, retired rock star. The young, socially-conscious bar-back, the woman with a rough sense of humor who makes everyone feel welcome, and the pierced punk-rock girl with an enthusiasm for art. These people, even after a few visits, start to feel like family. In fact, anytime I go more than a couple of weeks without dropping in to visit them, I start to miss them a little. This isn't just a bar--this is a place where you're welcome, where you're loved, no matter what crap goes in the world. I can't imagine a better place to sit and watch the game, a film, or just shoot the shit. It's as good as it gets here, in Lincoln Tap.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink before and after a comedy show @ the Athenaeum. Chill vibe. A couple older regulars at the bar. Fun mix of bartender personalities: the fun, loud, crazy lady, the quiet and sweet hipster kid, the heavy metal and tat'ed rocker. All had great character, just like this low key bar. Huge bonus. My husband and I were just about ready to head out the door when I spotted a can of Yuenling behind the bar. I had to do a double take and have my husband tell me if my eyes were playing a trick on me. No trick. Just the treat of east coast Yuenling that typically doesn't make it out to our neck of the woods. They've also got a photobooth, darts, scattered flat screen tvs, and a small arcade like game in the corner. They accept credit cards but their machine was acting up when we were ready to close our tab. Luckily there's an ATM in the bar and a Chase bank right across the street. The bartender felt so bad about the credit card machine that she offered us free shots too. How sweet! Love this place.

Yelp
Decent place, pretty casual vibe. Was there for a friend's birthday, and the waitress we had was very attentive and very good (realized the bartender had made a wrong drink for someone, realized it before the person even took a sip and took it back for a new one). The wristband deal was a good one, too. I'll agree with others that the music was a bit loud. It was hard to talk in a group. One of the bartenders gave me a bit of grief when I first got there about using a credit card to pay for my wristband (there was no singage about cash-only). I thought that was a bit out of line, but not terrible.

Yelp
Proper dive bar. Tv's pool table, cheep drinks and juke box. They have a dance floor but pretty sparse crowd. Dirty mouth bar tenders and servers with a fun attitude.

Yelp
After a series of unfortunate events left me without a venue for my husband's 30th birthday party, a mere 6 hours prior to party time, Lincoln Tap Room saved the day! They reserved the back area of the bar for us, set us up with an all-you-can-drink package for party guests (for a heck of a price too!), and were super accommodating with helping us set up food and decorations. It was a great space for a party! The bartenders kept everyone both socially lubricated and entertained! Seriously, bartender Holly was hilarious and amazing at remembering everyone's name and drink of choice! Can't thank these guys enough for coming through for me at the last minute and helping us all have a great time!

Yelp
Are you kidding me? This place has been around for a couple* of years. (*maybe 25 even.) The beer is great, the people are fun. It's a little goofy, and has kind of an enigmatic crowd. Feels a little New York-y even. But! I do love this crazy place. It's quite a getaway with amazing beer at good prices. Ok, there you are.
google avatar

Justin V.

Yelp
Like your mom, this place is a lot bigger on the inside than you might expect. That is the worst joke I've ever heard, let alone typed. I am going to go hang myself.
google avatar

Yelp
2 years after i wrote my original review, the following owner comment was posted: "Of course we weren't open at 12:30 if the Steelers game was at 3:15. We are a Steelers bar, not 'another game' bar. lol." Seriously? You must be a fucking idiot if you think Steelers fans and their friends aren't interested in watching the other games. Have fun shooting your business in the foot, and i'll continue to take my money to other, better bars. lol.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
This place is best summed up with the following sentiment: If my friends told me they wanted to spend Friday night at the Lincoln Tap I would have no problem with it what-so-ever. That said, I would never suggest the place myself. This is a good place to go if...you're not in the mood to suggest anything better.
google avatar

Ron R.

Yelp
Sooooo, the bar changed on me. Now its some dumb Pittsburgh Steelers themed bar. No longer does it have a loungy feel, its bro'd to the max (as in those annoying bro's we all love to hate in lakeview/lincoln park). The inside is yellow and black and feels jail like. Im so sad they did this

Yelp
On the advice of a dear friend, I booked my birthday party at this lovely venue, and it went off without a hitch. Anthony, the owner, was incredibly helpful and flexible, and the terms of holding a party are unparalleled. No room fee. No minimum number of attendees. Each guest gets to decide if they want the wristband. Birthday girl (or boy) drinks for free. This is rather unheard of in our fair city, so I took full advantage. For $30/3 hours, we had Stoli, Bacardi, Tanqueray and Jack for cocktails, along with 312 and Honkers drafts and Bud Light/Miller Lite bottles. I was so incredibly impressed with the selection alone. Cocktails weren't too strong, but the service was solid. I also love the ambiance of this place: warm red lighting, vintage signs, retro and remarkably comfortable seating. And if you're not content to just sit around while you drink, they offer pool, *real* darts (none of that plastic junk), a jukebox, a photo booth ($5, but you receive two strips) and board games atop the vintage cigarette machine. What else could you want? I had such a great time on my birthday that I'll absolutely return.

Yelp
Hello divey mcdiverson! I have a soft spot for a good dive bar. Lincoln Tap Room is a good size space - long bar, stage, pool tables, and some different seating areas. I went to see a burlesque show and I think this particular troop is there on the regular. If so, you should go see - Cirque de la Femme - they will freak your freak. More performing artist than burlesque, but worth the trip. The bartenders are super friendly and chatty (in the good way). They gave my date samples of different beers while she was deciding what to order. And were clearly passionate about what they do - I dig passion. Great dive bar, great neighborhood hangout, fun bartenders, great space, great performers. I dig you divey mcdiverson.

Yelp
I've been visiting the Lincoln Tap Room on & off for the last 2 years, since I moved in the neighborhood. For the last year I find myself returning again and again and again! This is such a refreshing place for the neighborhood - it's not overcrowded with "frat" types that seem to have taken over most bars in Lakeview/Lincoln Park. Its a cool laid back vibe with a bit of a "rock" feel. Pool tables, plenty of seating. Inexpensive drink specials every day of the week. I barely remember overindulging in $2 Maker's shots one Monday night. And I cannot confirm or deny the possibility that I may have flashed my boobs in the awesome black & white photo booth. The staff is very friendly, cool people.

Yelp
Exactly what a classic dive should be. Had a few brews with a NYC band in tow. Great night. Didn't eat anything here. Service was attentive towards this fish out of water.
google avatar

Yelp
Very friendly service. Great drink prices. If I lived in the area, I'd make it my usual haunt. We met up with a group of six already in full effect and found room at their table and a few chairs easily. It was after 10 on a Saturday night and it wasn't too full or too loud. No hipsters in sight, just a nice mix of locals and visitors. Good bar.

Thomas G.

Yelp
The good: classic old-man dive bar, cheap drinks, good tunes. The bad: bartender (guy with black hair and a goatee) is a certifiable sociopath. Likes refusing to bring you drinks, and enjoys flipping you off when you (nicely) ask where your drink is, even though you've asked six times. So, five stars for the bar, one star for the a-hole bartender.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
There is an upper middle aged woman who works there, long hair, about 5'4" maybe. Her face looks like leather, her voice confirms decades spent as a smoker. The woman is literally the worst f*cking bartender I've ever had to deal with in Chicago, and possibly the world. She walked away from customers if they didn't have cash. She ignored someone for ten minutes, passing him over directly three times, I eventually flagged her down. A couple girls asked for slippery nipples. She made a disgusted face, came back, blurted out "I'm outta butterscotch," then proceeded to ignore the girls for five more minutes. She was visibly angry at being asked to get anything other than bottled beer. If you weren't paying in cash? She literally sneered and walked the other way. I will never come back here based solely due to her shitty attitude. A real bummer too, because the other two long haired male bartenders were pretty nice.
google avatar

Christiana S.

Yelp
For some reason, this bar is never very crowded. It's surprising, since they have pool tables AND a jukebox AND drink specials every night of the week AND a black-and-white photo booth AND some of the friendliest bartenders ever. I love hanging out here. It's not too divey, not too upscale..... just right. The perfect neighborhood bar, if you will. And, as a bonus, you can always hit up Chicago's Pizza (which is within stumbling distance) before heading home, since it's open so late. Few things are better than greasy pizza after a night of drinking!
google avatar

Yelp
My new favorite, favorite place!! I live just around the corner and had never been here before a couple weeks ago and now I want to go all the time. First off it's a huge bar and it never gets too crowded which is awesome. There's pool, an awesome jukebox, a back area enclosed by a curtain and super cool swirly chairs. Yes, part of the reason the bar is awesome is because they have old school swirly barber chairs. Otherwise, great drink specials. Awesome bartenders and staff, one nice bartender read me every flavor of 3 olives vodka they had and didn't roll his eyes once. Great crowd, a nice mix of cranky old men and me, thankfully few if no hipsters.

Yelp
LINCOLN TAP ROOM: WE HATE YOUR MONEY! This bar would be a great project for any student majoring in Finance or Business. Whatever this bar does, do the complete opposite. Here's (3) reasons why this bar will succumb to a miserable financial death: 1) The Hell's Angels Bar Tenders are more concerned with their own personal play time and doing shots behind the bar than actually paying attention to the patrons Patrons + Drinks = profit$: Business 101 2) They pad your tab while paying with credit card. Example: I ordered 3 drinks which came to $17. Then, I ordered 1 more $5 beer. This equals $22, correct? No, at Lincoln Tap Room, when I closed out my tab, inflation took precedence, and predatory Interest rates, due to moronic Bar Tenders = $30. I can play this game as well= $0 Tip! 3) Once again, the miserable staff. Upon entering, you're greeted by Father Time, the anything but friendly founder of Hell's Angels. The Bar Tenders----already eluded to this----THEY SUCK!!!! (Jimmy gets an exception, because he actually has a personality) Here's the pros, which results in 2 stars: -The bar itself is kinda' cool inside---Very Dark bar w/ a great selection of beer & booze. Usually a decent crowd in here--- -The 1 & only decent Bar Tender, Jimmy (Kid Rock with dark hair) keeps this place above water. SLOW & UNFRIENDLY SERVICE! IN A BAD ECONOMY, THERE ARE MUCH BETTER BARS TO PATRONIZE! FI$CAL MORONS!

Yelp
How is it possible to get a 5 star review from a guy who walked here from Lincoln Park's driving range on a saturday, and only stopped in to grab a beer and some water and use the loo? (sorry still in olympic mode. It's the loo for a week longer) - be dark and yet inviting - have interesting seating options, including weird vinyl booths complimented with crappy old office chairs with low backs and comfy seats - have a seasoned and very chicago bartender manning the place - just be a very colorful bar in general with a solid selection of beers at a reasonable price and most importantly...... - free beer. This came out of left field. My girlfriend and I came in here and were just buying time before we ordered a pizza and went home to eat and relax after an active day and this was on our way home. Well just when we went to ask for the bill after 2 green line goose islands the bartender asked if we wanted 2 beers on her. Hell yeah we did! That was very nice and very appreciated as patrons who were really only 2 of the 4 people in the bar and that sort of act will earn you both 2 people's repeated business and also a great review on yelp. This is a very chicago bar and after spending a lot of time in Wrigleyville it is refreshing to be surrounded by that again.

Yelp
Lincoln Tap Room is one of my new favorite bars and definitely the best place in chicago to have a fun, relaxing and reasonably priced birthday party. I had my 25th birthday party there last night and everything was perfect! I spoke with Anthony (the owner) a couple weeks ago about setting up a wristband package for me and my friends. The advertised package on their website for 3hrs is $25 for all-you-can-drink wells, beer (goose island and bad domestics) and wine. Because the tap room has an amazing draft selection, I asked anthony if we could do a package with just a few drafts and wine and not have the wells drinks. He said yes and let me choose 3 drafts and 4 bottles for my party. I chose: Bells Two Hearted Bells Brown Ale Rogue Dead Guy Ale Franziskaner Corona Amstel Light Blue Moon So for 3 hours, we had those beers included with the $25 wristband. Anthony also included my birthday wristband for free - even though there was no minimum amount of people required for me to get the package. And for anyone who came late to the party, he pro-rated their wristband and did not charge the full $25. My party also had the whole back area reserved (which included a bunch of tables and a pool table!). Also, the bar doesnt serve food so we brought a bunch of appetizers and other food - which they gave us plates and forks for as well as chaffing dishes! Overall, Lincoln Tap Room was one of the best birthday party venues I have ever been to. It is so much better than duffy's or durkins or mcgees or any of those other bars that do cheap wristband packages. LTR had awesome beers, a great vibe and excellent service. I will definitely be booking my birthday there next year as well.

Yelp
Cousin invited me for a Burlesque show on a Friday night. Here's how I feel about this place. Pros: -Entertaining show --girls were very comfortable and put on great routines. Costumers were mostly hand made and the ladies "werked" them quite well. -Cheap *cheap* domestic beers. As others have stated, they have pretty good beer specials every day of the week. -Very chill atmosphere and mixed crowd. Cons: -Mixed drinks are watered down. My cousin ordered a Sex On the Beach first and it was mostly juice.. Someone else ordered a Long Island and they used the pre-made mix which is definitely a no-no for me. -Bartenders were very much punk-rock. Girls had tattoo sleeves, teased hair dark makeup --which is fine, but not my style. Also, one male bartender in particular who seemed to be in charge was not very attentive and had a weird, dry sense of humor. -Place has an old feel to it. Vinyl booths, mix-match chairs scattered throughout, pool table space towards the back. This place seems to have been around for a while and could use some sprucing up.. but maybe that's a part of my appeal. Would I go back? Probably not. However, I did enjoy the Burlesque dancers and it was nice to have a change of scenery from Lincoln Park or Boystown on a Friday night.

Jillian F.

Yelp
We hosted an open bar event the night before our wedding, and Lincoln Tap Room was a great choice for venue. We were able to cater in tacos, and the staff helped us set up and break down everything (and even donated the extra food for us!). Anthony was great to work with, and all of the staff that night were incredibly helpful and attentive. We had a great time! It's a great space for a large group with good beers and fantastic service. What more could you want?

Yelp
I was here once a long time ago and I never really thought anything of it until my friends threw a party here. The night involved Tony Clifton, Darth Vader and a couple storm troopers, but I won't get into that. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar has a lounge feeling with a dash of dive and it works. There is also plenty of seating. Call me lazy, but I hate going to a bar and just standing the whole time. They only have one pool table, but it's in good condition and it was used all night. There were lots of people there, but it never got arms-at-your-sides crowded. Some of the reviews here have mentioned the service, but I thought they did a kick-ass job. We had a waitress checking on us the whole night and she was right behind you when your glass was empty (and was friendly!). The bartenders were running their butts off all night. Considering how much randomness was going on, I was surprised they didn't just throw their hands up in the air when the cowboys and hookers arrived (oh yeah, did I mention the cowboys and hookers?). I would love to go back there. There was karaoke there that night, which went over really well. This is not a usual occurrence. They don't have karaoke at Lincoln Tap, so I'm not sure where the guy came from...yeah, it was that type of night. But if it DID become a common occurrence (nudge, nudge management) I would definitely go back. Partake in the photo booth while you're there.

Yelp
I am definitely not a bar person. I cannot stand going to a place for a drink with friends and have to scream at each other over blaringly loud music and struggle to hear them when they talk back. Watching drunk idiots making fools of themselves in public is also not high on my list of things to do on a Friday night. While Lincoln Tap does blast their music I give them a pass because the staff is made up of some of the nicest and down-to-Earth individuals I have ever met. They are always hosting shows on their main stage in the back (the Original Tease burlesque show has to be seen to be believed) and they serve a delicious drink called Angry Balls, which is Angry Orchard cider and Fireball cinnamon whiskey. Effen awesome. The space is cozy and comfortable and the decor is a fun combination of a dive biker bar and an upscale joint. I love this place and it is the only bar in the city I will go out of my way to patronize.

Yelp
Ive been this place for private parites & recently I threw one of my own. Thats what I recommend it for. For $25/person, I was able to get a party for 3 hours for 20 people. No minimums, no deposit, no pressure whatsoever. When the party started, they let my guests choose from the package or pay-per-drink, or ecen choose a package from the other party. Otside of that its still a good place to come in for a drink. The staff is nice, and the drink selection is good.

Yelp
Interesting little place. Absolutely nothing is "Wrong" with it, but I think it depends on who you want to go there with. They played everything from cake to whip it good and a whole variety of 80s to 90s etc. Nice little pool table in the back and a bunch of areas to relax too! This seems to be a very local-ly bar, aka the place to go to relax and have a beer with some friends. Not a very happening bar, though. 4$ blue moons though? That deserves 4 stars of its own....for city thats not bad for a blue moon. One odd thing though, its across the street from a scientology building.

Yelp
Had an awesome time with the jukebox and the drunk mid-30s married women having their girls night out. The bartenders were friendly and even helped my friends and I out with our photo shoot-- we drink and take pictures, it's more fun that way. Booze was well priced and loved that it wasn't ridiculously crowded and that they had board games sitting on top of their cigarette machine. This was my kind of dive-y joint. p.s. If you're reading this, thanks Jen for entertaining my come-ons ;)

Yelp
I'm writing this as a heartbroken Steelers fan who just watched the first playoff game at Lincoln Tap Room (have fun losing next week, Tim Teblow). If anything could make me feel better, it's this place. They had Iron City specials ($3 for a bottle and $15 per bucket), free popcorn and dinner at halftime (open-faced turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes, also free), and Bark Roethlisdoggy, a giant, friendly dog dressed in a Steelers jersey. They also had sound (hooray!) and fight songs during commercials. Usually I watch games in the comfort of a friend's living room, but the Lincoln Tap Room may change that. Thanks for making a former Pittsburgher feel at home :D

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday night with a couple of friends. We walked in and the bartender straight off insulted me which wasn't a great start. I then asked if one of the beers was a nitro to which I got the reply "I don't know". It got a lot worse as the bar staff seemed very standoff-ish and rude, not just to me but also to my friends at different times of the night. From reading other reviews I see it seems to be hit and miss with the bartenders. The rest of the bar is great though, good atmosphere, great beers, pool and darts. The beer selection was also really good and they had some good specials during the week. If it wasn't for the awful service I would be here a lot more.
