L'Inconnu

"The chef, who for a long time was second-in-command at Passage 53, concocts Italian-inspired cuisine with influences from France, as well as his native Japan. He only works with the finest ingredients, using them to produce original and creative dishes, such as Breton langoustine tails topped with a cider and confit lemon emulsion." - Michelin Inspector

Fairly priced no surprise Japanese French fusion. Loved the dessert. Very well balanced and I can have ten for the meal.. loved the wine recommended by the lady, paired well with earth tones of truffle and creamy pasta.

We went for the 7 course tasting menu. It was an exceptional dining experience. Each course was expertly prepared and presented with a perfect balance of flavors and textures, making for a truly memorable culinary journey. In addition, the service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcome and attended throughout the entire meal.

We were the only ones in the restaurant, so the service was more than excellent. Food was first class, yet one thing was better: the food wine pairing is so so good. Would certainly recommend!

We had a great time at L'inconnu. We where able to enjoy a really delicious Italian menu with a story to every course. The service was really professional and helpful. The food was delicious and we had a few glasses of good wine matching the different courses. One of the highlights was the fish, combining a diversity of flavors to create really great dish. We hope to stop by next time when we are in Paris.

Their Christmas Eve diner charges €220 per person. Given the price, I expect some amazing food. But it turns out to be just mediocre food. The foie gras and the wagyu beef is below average among the fine dinings. And you wait 30min for a mediocre dish, and another 30min for another mediocre one, and then another 30min, and then another 30min. There’s only disappointment but you have to wait. It’s not good dining experience at all.

From my last visit 6 years ago, the restaurant has changed. It was very good at that time and it remains a very good adresse to eat. Menu improved in quality and price since then. It’s more expensive and sophisticated now but it definitely deserves the price.

From my honest opinion: It aint just about taste but also perfection of cooking point, the quality of product and complexion of texture. The service was also so fine, made you didnt feel left out but also dont pressure you. This restaurant is a hidden gem

Me and my girlfriend took her mom to the restaurant to celebrate her birthday. The service and experience was being overall good, but definitely not worth the price. But unfortunately the experience was somewhat ruined as I was eating the duck and I felt something very hard in the meat while chewing and turns out it was the bullet that was used to kill the duck! I tried to keep going and another one once again hitting my molar teeth. The waitress tried to apologise and sent additional truffles to my following dish but of course this does not compensate this unpleasant situation and the worse was that the chef never came to apologise. Overall I believe the restaurant is way to expensive for the food that was being offered and I would I would not recommend.
