Lindbergh City Center

I use to live in Linbergh many years ago as a child. I remember taking the Linbergh station with my parents to go to Lenox Square Mall for example. I remember exactly when this city center was being built. Awesome memories.

This mall has a little bit of everything! We loved legoland!

Convenient. Nice atmosphere here. Busy but not hectic and dirty like the other MARTA stations. There's a clean, safe public restroom, too. Nice cafes to rest and have a bite to eat. Nice greenspace nearby, too. Needs more park benches tho.

Love the new Kroger💖!!! It is so big. It has a Starbucks and a Juice Bar. A huge selection of produce and organic foods. The deli has a huge selection of fresh food made on the spot. Not to mention fresh carved meats and cheeses. Fresh seafood and baked goods. You have to see it to believe it!!

This area is not as safe as one may think. In fact it's a down right dangerous area. First it's not pedestrian friendly at all! Cars rule the road so walkers beware. As so car jacking is frequent. Lots of shady characters around the Kroger. Mind your surroundings!

Very clean, very nice looking complex! Lots of good food options + the Marta station. There's no free parking, but it's not expensive. Valet is available too.

Target, BestBuy, Home Depot, Starbucks, 53rd bank, AT&T and more. Now with a Kroger shopping center. Good one stop place for a variety of needs. Safe environment & clean area. Plenty of parking.

Love the Pike Nurseries. Cricket has a neat lunch cafe if you are an early bird. The chain restaurants and coffee shop seem to miss the mark on consistent quality of service.

I live within a short a drive of a handful of Marta stations - and this is definitely my favorite for a couple of reasons. 1) If you take Marta you can park here for free for up to 24 hours in the designated garage. Just don't forget to validate your ticket at the machine after you swipe your Marta card and pass through the gates into the station. Free parking is a huge plus if you are taking Marta to a Braves Game 2) Picking up/dropping off here is incredibly easy. There are designated places on either side of the train for this. 3) You can ALWAYS get a cab from this Marta station. There are a line that wait a short walk outside of the station. I made the mistake of taking the Marta to another stop after a long plane flight and waited for a solid 45 minutes for a cab. Not going to make that mistake again! 4) I feel relatively safe at this marta station. I think because it is a bit cleaner and well-lit than other stations in the area. I mean its still marta, but yeah.

Lindbergh. My hood. You try so hard, but fall so short. There are some really great things right around like Target and Pike, but the city center itself is lacking in anything really fun to do. There's a scattering of chains like Chili's, Longhorn and Taco Mac. There's also Atlanta's only iteration of Wet Willie's which I love in the trashiest sort of way. Lindbergh does have Tongue & Groove and Gold Room, but those places aren't really my scene. SIP is a neat little coffee shop if you find yourself early for a Marta train. There's also a little corner store full of madly overpriced odds and ends. Parking blows, but I always just walk here. You can park for up to 24 hours if you validate in MARTA, but you have to park in a pretty inconvenient lot (PM me if you need help). I do like that both red and yellow lines will take you back here. Just one great restaurant or bar could turn this place around. I think that Lindbergh is sort of a no-man's land between Buckhead and Midtown. I wish that Lindbergh would make up it's mind and have some sort of identity, but for now it's stuck as a hub of chains and retail garbage.

I'm from Baltimore, I've rode on the NYC Subway and I've traveled using the Washington D.C. train... so let's keep it simple. -Pretty clean -Very resonably priced -Train station directly from ATL airport -People don't bother you -Lindbergh is a very beautiful area and easy to navigate

My favorite place to take a loved one to or pick up from MARTA. In fact, I'll be doing the latter shortly! Nice job with this development. A smattering of restaurants and such, two solid apt complexes, and super great MARTA access and highway access. I especially like that there are entry points on multiple sides of the property (ie, Lindbergh and Piedmont) so wherever you need to go you can get out on the side that fits your agenda. Make sure you pay the meters to park - ParkAtlanta definitely (pa)trolls here!!

Someone needs to start enforcing the anti loitering laws and other rules of conduct in this area. There are always people blocking the sidewalks, leaving garbage everywhere, harassing people, milling about panhandling. I would not locate my business here or live in the housing until it's fixed. I understand that the Marta station is there, but this could still be easily corrected by directing the security staff to issue trespass warnings and getting the police involved. Whatever security would cost would be made up in higher rents over time. Going downhill!

Lindberg City Center at Lindberg Station off Piedmont Avenue is the newest restaurant destination in town. They've got a Taco Mac, Chilis, Longhorne Steakhouse, Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries and Lotus Lounge. Situated between these establishments are specialty shops, goods, services and the MARTA station. Target and Home Depot are within walking distance as well as Michael's, Ross and a host of other shops.

This area has so much potential compared to what it is. I really like that Taco Mac, the coffee shop and the Irish bar. Of course, 5 guys is good. I like some of the restaurants that left - flatbread place and hot stix - too bad they are gone. Need more places like that and less places like Wet Willy's. Ugh. I agree with the comments on the rude parking company. Also, trying to get in and out of the parking garage if there is a little traffic is a disaster. Was it designed by Rubix? Seriously, not good. All in all, would be great to see some additional high-qualify tenants and better parking options in this great area of Atlanta.

This place needs some good restaurants. They use have this good chicago style eatery but it closed. Sip the experience has crappy coffee, tongue n groove is ok, taco mac is ok but always too packed, chili's is too sketchy. I mean you got marta and all the fun that it brings. I guess the only place I like in here is Pike's nursery. I wouldn't leave a bad review at a place that is actually dependent on good reviews like pikes or sip but this is more for the people intending on moving in this area. If you want the live work play set up go to atlantic station!

I used to come here every Sunday for 5 years, and I really liked it. Now I no longer live in Atl and have visited many times, this particular location has really just fallen apart. The blonde behind the bar is really fake, they allow her to wear sandals to work (it looks so unprofessional). The food has gotten worse, and because I still have an out of state ID, I have to wait on one of those cheesey misplaced managers to come over to check it. Tells ya how much they trust their own. I love all the other locations except Lindbergh. I will never step foot in that location again. Do not recommend! WTF happened?

This is feedback for everyone and for the MARTA parking garage. We took MARTA from Lindbergh to the NFC Championship game. This station has several advantages for getting downtown; (1) free parking, (2) close proximity to downtown, and (3) you get twice the trains coming through here due to the Blue and Red lines sharing this track. Unfortunately, the public parking deck was a huge disappointment. After returning from the NFC Championship Game (and evading the traffic that comes with it), we arrived back at Lindbergh to pickup our car in great time. We did not forget to validate our parking ticket in MARTA so that the cost to park was free. Unfortunately, there must have been at least 50 cars queued up inside the parking the deck waiting in line to get out. There was 1 station attendant working to let us out, one by one, 30 seconds to 2 minutes per car. We were out of traffic, paid up, in the clear, and stuck in the parking garage for 20 minutes. Once we were out, the traffic light at the station and Piedmont, for whatever reason, does not cycle to our side of the street. So we must wait another 5 minutes or whatever to get out. If you are looking to use Lindbergh station MARTA to get to major events downtown, think again. Brookhaven MARTA is probably a better option until the folks running the Lindbergh station can rethinkg their parking model and improve the efficiency and flow of traffic into and out of this station's parking garage.

unfortunately, the parking company has stopped allowing motorcycles to park here and as of mon. july 12, 2010, they will no longer allow free parking for the first two hours, making it necessary to pay to eat at some of the non-validating eateries along main st. this is sad to me because it was so convienient to just go over to the five guys or hot dog place and be able to park for free...now i must go to a different location to eat so i don't have to pay extra to park...in this economy, people are looking for any way to save that they can, and paying for parking in this neighborhood for less than an hour is rediculous

The main problem with Lindbergh City Center is the parking. I've been there a few times for dinner and the experience was great until I went to leave. On more than one occassion I have waited 20 minutes or more to get out of the parking deck. Apparently nothing special was going on but I think it is unacceptable to take that long to get out. On one occasion this 20 minute exit put me over the 2 hr limit. Then on top of all that the parking clerk was rude. MARTA is a great option but it doesn't work for everyone. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter to me how great the restaurants are here I'm not going there if I have to park.

Chili's .........HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE !!!!!!! Service was done with an attitude,dirty glasses cold food. The cherry on the cake ......... I came home and VOMITTED Violently. BEWARE

This area has potential but not only if you enjoy breathing cigarette smoke while on the sidewalks or adjacent restaurant patios. The rude, looser employees from AT&T hang out along the sidewalks on Main Street creating a cloud of smoke from their cancer sticks. The private parking company's actions runs off customers with their aggressive ticketing of the street parking. This area is full of closed and never opened store fronts and this further gives a reason to run off more customers. It is not uncommon to see mostly empty restaurants there during the week so it would seem that management would want to make this a more inviting area.
