We had a nice Sunday lunch which my husband had booked for my birthday. The staff is warm and friendly and we had a nice vegetarian Chef’s menu. Portion size is like tapas but with 5 different types of dishes and a dessert, it was quite enough and left us full. Really liked the parsnip risotto, croquettes and layered roast potatoes. Felt the dessert of Yorkshire Parkin was very sweet so didnt quite enjoy that as too traditional and very very sweet butterscotch sauce for my liking. The staff were attentive however felt that the gap between dishes was sometimes little more which kept us waiting for our next dish to be served. Overall a good experience and definitely recommended.

Absolutely exceptional! The staff and service were impeccable! It was the first night of their festive chefs menu and each course was phenomenal! Noting the venison which was perfectly done. I cannot fault the place it lives up to its reputation and good reviews! The wine of the night was also perfectly paired with the meal. Would recommend for a cosy meal out

Had a delicious lunch here with my friend today. Neither of us had been before and will definitely return. Really tasty food- loved the option of the smaller plates.

A fantastic experience. Completely special. It was a real taste experience. Would not hesitate to go back. I've recommended to so many people. We were situated in the window seat, which did eventually get a bit cramped after walk ins were popped in the same area. I think that little area should only have 3 groups in. Its set up for 4, but it's definitely too many in there. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. I had such a lovely date with my husband followed by a walk around the local area, which was picturesque and finished the day off.

Outstanding restaurant, one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Excellent value for money, attentiveness of staff was perfect and food was exceptional, highly recommend.

We had the chefs menus here today and it did not disappoint. Every course was so delicious and the menu was full of local, seasonal food. Apparently their menu changes quite regularly because of this which is great, we can’t wait to try the next menu. Also - had a chocolate wine negroni which was amazing, the staff were really knowledgeable about the food and the service was excellent. Will definitely be going again soon.

I don’t usually do reviews, but my experience here has left me feeling like I had to share! Simply one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the chance to visit, not only is the food some of the best I’ve had (I’ll let the pictures do the talking) but their wine list also was one of the best I’ve seen. The leeks would not usually be a go to for me, but I’m so glad I did as I’ve never tried something so tasty, the potatoes were even better than the reviews I’ve read & the short rib left me speechless (I could of eaten 10). The staff here were so welcoming, polite and friendly, a true toast to the exceptional levels of service at Linden stores. If you were considering going, I wouldn’t walk, I would run as fast as I could!

One of the few very memorable dining experience of my life. Our table had the Prix Fix Menu and it was amazing, from beginning to the last dish. I specially loved the Short Rib, fall of the bone goodness! Also, the staff were all very attentive, friendly and professional. A definite must try restaurant in this part of England. Thanks to the chef and all the staff❤️
