I didn't mean to land at here, but my first choice of the night, Tailgate Social, was super low vibe for a football night (very empty, sound was low, servers just sitting at tables chilling) so we ventured to find a different place. I didn't even know Lindo had a place at Palace and I'm familiar with the locations in the suburbs - so what the heck, there's a bar, there's a TV, there's people at least here, I'll give it a go.
Walking up to the bar, we took a seat. The bar top was a bit dirty but the bartender never bothered to come and wipe it down, she just put menus on top of the dirty stuff. She then walked away to fulfill other drink orders. It was only her behind the bar so the bar patrons were a bit neglected. Finally, she does come back around and asks if we want chips and salsa (complimentary). We said yes. She goes to get it in the back and returns with chips, salsa, and bean dip. Now, I like about 95% of the salsas I've ever had, but, I'm not sure what it is about Lindo's salsa, but it tasted like medicine. It was a really odd taste. The bean dip was pretty crusty as well. So to me, it was 0 for 2 on the dips.
We decided to split Chicken Fajitas. It came with Fideo soup which I normally love, but this one came out barely luke warm so that was a bummer. The one plus is that the fajita portion size is BIG. Overall flavor is okay, it was food, it was edible. Both service and food, it wasn't an experience that would bring me back again.
