Lindos Acropolis is a must-visit when on Rhodes. The combination of ancient ruins, dramatic cliffs and panoramic sea views is unforgettable. Tickets are 20 euros per adult and it's smart to buy them in advance to skip the line, we waited around 15 minutes. Along the way there are QR codes you can scan to buy tickets online, but if you're already close to the entrance, it might be quicker to just wait in line. The path up is steep and not secured with handrails, so be careful, especially with kids. Wear good shoes and bring a hat or cap, as it gets very hot during the day. Once at the top, you're rewarded with stunning views over Lindos Bay and the white town below. The site has some restored areas and informational signs. Go early if you want to avoid the crowds and the heat. A mix of history, nature and views that truly makes it one of the island’s highlights. Worth every step.

Walking at a decent pace you can get to the top in about 10 minutes. Stunning views and some wonderful history to be seen. Do some reading before you go as there isn't much explanation up there - also you can find tickets online significantly cheaper than paying at the entrance.

Windows Acropolis – absolutely amazing This place is simply fantastic. The entrance fee is €20, and we bought our tickets on site – there Berent many people when we visited. We highly, highly recommend coming here. It’s truly worth it, even if you have to wait in a queue. You can easily spend the whole day exploring. You can also see more from our visit on our YouTube channel – you’re very welcome to check it out.

Beautiful view, but the ticket is quite expensive for what it offers. Make sure to go early, we arrived at 8:00 AM and by 8:30 it was already 30°C. Early morning is definitely the best time to visit. Bonus: there’s a gorgeous cat living up there.

When we arrived in the town, it looked from below like it would be a long and difficult uphill walk. But it wasn’t at all — from a certain point through the town, it’s only a 4-minute walk on easy terrain. The entrance fee is €20, and card payment is accepted. The archaic atmosphere of the place and the view of the stunning blue sea moved me so much that I actually cried. I truly recommend visiting — it’s an unforgettable experience.

Yes the views are spectacular but I cannot believe they charge 20 euros! There isn't that much left but columns. I read that entry fee was 13 euros until summer 2025. That would be more reasonable, not sure how they can justify so a steep price increase!!

The old fortress with the remains of the Acropolis is located on top of the hill above Lindos. The site is fascinating, as you can clearly see the contrast between the ancient Acropolis from the 6th century BC and the fortress built by the Knights of St. John in the 14th century. Entrance fee is €20 per person. Students up to 26 years old can enter for free (with valid ID). We visited in the afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. There was no queue at the ticket office. ⚠️ Be careful inside – there are no railings on many stairs or along the walls, which can be dangerous. The view of the town and sea is absolutely beautiful. The stairs on the way up and down to Lindos can be a bit slippery, especially on the descent – good shoes and caution are recommended. There is enough to see for about 45–60 minutes. For me, it was money well spent.

It's a lovely place to visit, parked just off the road and they took us by golf carts into Lindos, Lots of shops for gifts, take plenty of water as it's a bit of a trek to the top. Nice wee cafe just before you go into the Acropolis, 20 Euro entry, views were amazing, lots of great photos.
