Lindy - Review - La Condesa - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"You’ll wish there was a Lindy on every corner. This airy, homey all-day spot overlooking Parque México does comfort food with a fine dining edge. The menu is New York meets CDMX, and it shows the second you bite into the burger dripping in au poivre sauce, make a braised short rib taco with their heirloom corn tortillas and mouth-tingling habanero salsa, or dig into the massive camarones tatemados drenched in XO sauce. Tracy Chapman and Cyndi Lauper playing in the background, and plenty of Mexican natural wine make it impossible not to stay for dessert. Who gets to finish the last of the silky flan al horno with cajeta might just spark a friendly food feud. Continue the party upstairs at their rooftop cocktail bar." - Guillaume Guevara

I had such a great experience at Lindy! The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, perfect whether you’re going on a date or hanging out with a group of friends. Highly recommend trying: The ceviche (super fresh and flavorful) The short rib (tender and perfectly cooked) Any of the salads (they’re all delicious) St-Germain cocktails (a must!) And definitely don’t leave without the flan. Overall, the food, drinks, and vibe make it a spot I’d happily come back to again and again 💕

Quaint international cuisine next to Parque Mexico. Cozy interior and friendly service. Highlights: - Ceviche: citrus forward and elegant - Eggplant: umami - Short rib taco: portion for sharing - Mezcalita: simple & tasty Many of the dishes are gluten-free. For the chicken, they were able to serve it without the sauce to make it gluten free. Overall all of the dishes were well executed. The only minor note is that the dishes tend to err on the saltier side (you can see the salt sprinkles on the eggplant). My preference would be to go easier on the salt. Service was attentive and the complimentary tostadas and salsas were great snacks. Curious to try their breakfast next time!

Lindy is still a hidden gem of Mexico City and a rising star in Condesa, perfectly located right in front of iconic Parque México. This beautiful spot blends cosmopolitan casual dining with authentic Mexican flair, offering creative, high-quality dishes that shine at any time of day, whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. The food is incredible, the service is fantastic, and the thoughtful details throughout the space make it feel warm yet elevated. With an interesting combination of taste, style, and setting, Lindy has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City.

Yas yas yas, exactly what we needed! An elegant yet not pretentious restaurant, right next to Parque México (so we can go for breakfast and then for a stroll or vice versa). Pet friendly which is a must and also kids friendly which is unfortunately not that obvious recently… Brunch menu is excellent, no way to not find something you crave for, and the wine menu is accessible. Prices are just and service is great.

What a great new restaurant in condesa !!!! Food and service was truly 10/10. The dry martini was presented in a small jar in ice with a chilled glass so that it stays cold as you sip through it. Loved that detail. And it was a delicious martini! The food really hit it out of the park for me. We got the roasted tomato soup with grilled cheese and the robalo ceviche as appetizers. Both were so delicious. The soup and grilled cheese is such a perfect combination and perfect for a rainy day. The ceviche was so fresh and flavorful. The main star of the show was the short rib. It’s braised for over 18 hours. And accompanied with tortillas. Perfect to share. I’m still thinking about this dish!!! We got the cajeta flan and the tiramisu for dessert! SOO GOOD. This was one of those meals I’ll be thinking about for a while. I’m already planning my next visit

The burger was really good but the fries were awful so subtract one star for that. If they fix their technique they would get 5 stars. The fries were hard and undercooked on the inside, but overcooked on the outside. It was also over salted.

Delicious food, warm service, sophisticated yet casual interior. We came here for lunch after our excursion to Teotihuacan and it was such a perfect oasis to reenergise. The Berenjena and Ceviche starters were delicious, and our kids loved the burger and milanesa. The tiramisu and pistachio ice cream are also worth keeping space for!

This is my new favorite spot in CDMX. Finally, a perfect Friday evening martini and oysters spot in Condesa! Had the club sandwich with the house made mustard (amazing - I asked for extra to take home with me!) and will be back for the burger, which looked fabulous. Beautifully designed restaurant and very lively but not too loud.
