Linn's Easy As Pie Cafe

We stopped by Linn’s just for dessert, and the olallieberry pie was amazing, seriously changed the way I think about pie. It wasn’t overly too sweet and was packed with flavor. Unfortunately, we had already eaten lunch, so we didn’t get to try any of the food, but everything in the store looked delicious. Definitely coming back hungry next time! The staff were friendly, and the place had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. They also have a small market where you can grab some of that incredible olallieberry jam to take home.

Let me start by saying that Linn’s makes THE best beef or pie I have ever eaten. Lots of beef and the crust is so flaky and delicious. Living locally I pick them up frozen to keep on hand. As for my visit to the cafe, it was delicious as always and I’m never disappointed. We had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and the pesto chicken sandwich with potato salad. You can dine inside or out on the patio and you the food comes out quickly. Both items we got were very good and we took some pie to go. Then we hopped over to Linn’s Gourmet Goods to pick up my frozen pot pies to go. Stellar food day in my book.

Good pie; the flavor, the balance between sour and sweet and the pastry crunchiness was right. I suggest having ceramic plates and real forks for a full experience. Coffee a bit too bitter for my taste (over roasted) but I assume it is the way Americans like it. I had to ask for ceramic cup.

Linn's take out outlet and small cafe. Very convenient if you want to dash in to grab a pie or pastry and avoid the busy restaurant. Outside seating available to relax and enjoy your beverage and treat. Location at rear of restaurant via back alley. Highly recommended.

My husband wanted to purchase a pie and Olallieberry was highly recommended by a gal who was at the pier in Avila. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it as you can see! We ate it before I took the photograph. When I was in college I worked at Marie Callender’s Pies and the pie from Linn’s was off-the-hook best!! Thank you, Eric, Donna, Daddy Don, and Anna.

The chicken pot pie and olallieberry pie were both incredible. Flaky, buttery crust! Their tomato bisque and grilled cheese were also tasty. Highly recommend!

2025-02-24 Update Stop by here again for lunch last month and decided to try their soup of the day which was spinach lentil soup. It was delicious and very satisfying. Also had the banana cream pie again which is awesome. Great service as always and nice to eat out on their patio. After shopping the Linn's gourmet goods store, we decided to finally stop by here to have a light lunch. They have a lovely garden patio and it was a nice and quiet meal. My wife had the clam chowder and I had the turkey wrap and they were both very good. Too full to have any pies this time.

My daughter and her family moved to Parsons, TN from San Diego a couple of years ago and while I was out visiting with them, she suggested Linn's as she heard good things about them. We both had sandwiches and they were super good. The sandwiches were big, delicious and very fresh tasting. We saved room for some desserts and they were so good we took a few home for the family. Next time I'm visiting Tennessee, Linn's will be on the eats list.
