Lion Belge - Brugge

I do not usually write a lot of reviews, but I had to. We are travelling through Europe from Egypt, and this is by far the best food experience we have had so far. The food portions were huge, so consider sharing. The food was really special; one of the rare times I find something that is really exceptional. I recommend the Lamb Fillet in particular. Other than the food, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The place is a little small so expect some wait time at the bar (which was also pleasant). Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Brugges.

Delicious food and so tough to pick something from the menu. The mussels, meatball dish and stew were so good. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Great beer too!

We ate here with no prior knowledge we just wanted to rest a bit and sat down. It turned out to be a really nice restaurant. Our table was outside. We ordered mussels and beer. It was big enough for us to share . It comes with crispy potato fries, mussel sauce and mayo for the fries. Everything was great. Mussels were tasty, fries were crispy and light. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent.

Great restaurant close to the city center where they serve great home style dishes. They have a nice selection of draft beers with seating both inside and outside. Their beef stew and lamb mince were really great!

Very cozy place, no reservations, you can just walk in. When they are full they allow you to drink something at the bar which is also very nice and adds a lot to the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a cozy local restaurant this is the place to be! Friendly staff, local dishes and very reasonable prices.
