"The former Lion Pub, a leafy, dimly-lit gay bar located in the first floor of a circa-1900 Victorian home on Divisadero, is on the market as a single-family building for $5.9 million." - Caleb Pershan

Nice little (more or less) hidden neighborhood bar in Pacific Heights. Modern decor, ambient vibe, fireplace, great bar. They do their drinks with freshly squeezed juice and that alone is something to come back for! I loved the Strawberry Mango Mojito and the Greyhound (grapefruit, vodka) which was nicely balanced and refreshing. So, if you love fresh juice and booze, this is your place! No surprise it can get mad on a Friday/Saturday night but hey, the drinks and the interior are worth it.

Great neighborhood bar. One of the only ones in Laurel Heights / Lower Pac Heights area. Almost every night it's usually semi packed or really packed. Their specialty are the Grey Hound drinks. They use fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and they make it just right. The bar is easy to miss since it's hidden in vines and the door is off to the side on Sacramento but once you go inside, you'll easily see why it's called Lion Pub. There are numerous amounts of Lion statues everywhere! Great place to go for a night cap after dinner along the Divisadero corridor.

Closed. Now classic Pacific Heights local is always a treat. While I miss the quirks of its past incarnations and dressed staff, it always delivers a good time. Wide-range of specialty drinks. Can be too loud at times for its own good.

Frickin love this place. Used to live down the street. Used to take dates here all the time. It's dark. It's lively. They have a nightly cheese and cracker plate that I'd stuff my face with. They make drinks with fresh squeezed fruits. The bartenders are nice and friendly. The guests are nice and friendly. Miss it now that I've moved out of SF.

Great to place to go on a week-night, when it's not over-run by a seemingly Marina-type crowd. Bartenders make some of the best drinks in the city - fresh fruit and hand-crafted. Cozy place too.

Almost empty bar, still waited for 20 minutes for a beer. Beer was flat, told the bartender about it and just got a "It's supposed to be like that" back. Music was way too loud and out of place for an empty bar on a Thursday night. I have no idea why this bar has 4 stars. Maybe it's a ball on weekends but on Thursday's I recommend staying away...far away.

This is a great bar in the Pac/Presidio Heights area. The variety of fresh muddled fruit mojitos are great, and the inside area is cozy while the exterior is non-descript. Make sure to bring cash though since cards aren't accepted, although there is an ATM.

Super cozy little neighborhood bar. Cash only. Entrance is discreet- be careful not to miss it! Their greyhound was great, and they have a pickleback shot on the menu that looked super good.
