Great stop off of the slow road from Mana Pools to Harare. The food was excellent (on the high price side, but well worth it) and the rest rooms were spotless. The gardens are lovely to sit in and eat the food.

Must visit! It's a good spot to stop on your way to Kariba. Or even if you are coming from the Caves in Chinhoyi. The seating area is refreshing and there's lots of space for the kids. The burgers and meat are to die for. I love the selection of sauces and pickles to add to your burger. It's self service but the flow moves pretty quickly. They also sell biltong, it's well made and flavourful.

I had the pleasure of visiting Lionsden Saucy Sue with my daughters on Christmas Eve, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. We stopped by for a quick snack and were instantly charmed by the calm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quality family time during the festive season. The food was excellent, and we especially loved the caramel popcorn—it was an absolute treat! The entire experience was so enjoyable that we’re already planning to come back more often. Lionsden Saucy Sue is truly a great place for family and friends to meet up, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable spot. Keep up the great work!

On your way to Kariba or Chirundu and need a place to rest and a bite to eat, their burger are full of flavour and the best part you get to add your own toppings.

Best food and rest stop on way to Zambezi Valley (Kariba, Chirundu, Mana Pools, etc)! Sit in a wonderful garden, watch your kids play in the treehouse, and have one of the many amazing food choices. Scrumptious burgers, bacon&egg rolls, delicious biltong, and so much more. Amazingly kind and helpful staff. Clean and convenient restrooms too!

I have stopped here twice while traveling from Harare to Kariba, most recently in 2018 and 2014. Excellent spot to grab some sausage rolls and biltong for a trip to the lake. The food is great, and the outdoor space is lovely.

The place is neat and clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. You can see that they love what they do, you can feel the love in their food. Their biltong, beer sticks, burgers are may fav. Please add fries to the menu
