Best cocktail bar in Japan! I've tried all the bars on the World's Best list, and this one should be at the top - amazing creativity in the drinks, foraging what is in season, distilling ingredients in-house, treating products and flavors with amazing care to create well balanced and delicious drinks that cover a spectrum of flavors. Beyond that, not the least bit pretentious and no cover charge, really friendly service in a cool, industrial designed space, with 90s hip hop playing in the background.
I was blown away by a drink that came from foraging mushrooms at Mt. Fuji, complete with a cedar wood spray from cedar that came from the owner's background. Such a creative, light, and refreshing drink, perfect for autumn. Also, had a best ever variation of an espresso martini, with jasmine infused whiskey, notes of vanilla, black pepper, and banana. And the best part of the experience is that the menu is always changing with the season.
