Find the Best Thai Take Out in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"Lisu’s now has three locations, with slight changes between menus. The Como Avenue location in St. Paul is the most robust, with a small selection of Chinese classics and a concise list of boba teas." - Alex Lodner

The food at Lisu's was delicious and prepared incredibly fast. The curry was sweet with just the right amount of heat and the sauce that came with the spring rolls was absolutely perfect. Staff was friendly and right to the point about getting you in and out. Great place for a quick lunch.

Ordered to go, chicken satay #5, orange chicken #48 and pad woon sen #61. The satay’s were a bit over done, orange chicken was great but had a lot of sauce, maybe order sauce on the side. Pad woon sen was great with the shrimp add on.

Went arrived here at 6 on a Thursday. Probably 8-10 people in the restaurant. We were greeted promptly by the hostess, who doubled as our server. The restaurant is unpretentious with its dated decor. It doesn't detract here, though. You feel like you stepped into your grandmother's home for a dinner. It's comfortable. The food was good, reasonably priced with huge portions. Everything was well prepared and well- seasoned. The standout was the service here. Despite handling at least 6 or 7 tables, we never went without water or tea, and our food came out very quickly. I ordered the Red Chicken Curry with sticky rice and it was very golf. The pot stickers and cream cheese wantons were also very delicious. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It may not win a Michelin star for food and decor, but the service, portions, and value are off the charts.

My girlfriend and I came and ordered two dishes; she ordered stir fry noodles and I ordered duck curry. The duck curry was very very very disappointing, it literally came with four pieces of meat and the sauce was too sweet. And the dish is about $15, and definitely not worth the money. Stir fry noodles was pretty good.

We where there for Valentine's Day. Was cute atmosphere for that. Kim the owner is Great to make sure you are taken care of. Food was Very tasty & nice big portions ( even if you are not a vegetarian, they do a great job with their tofu cooking - try it sometime here? )

My family and I tried to visit Lisu's Thaï previously, but it was closed. I'm glad we kept trying, though. The food it good and very reasonably priced. We spent less than half what we'd spent the previous week at another restaurant. I was able to choose from many vegetarian options, while the rest of my family had various meat dishes. My favorite was the fresh spring roll with the delicious sauce I've come to expect from nicer Thai restaurants. The only things I would improve on is that there are only canned sodas, and the soda refrigerator is right there in the dining room.

Great little spot! Food was tasty, service was friendly and quick. Lots of options on the menu and a good price. They have a nice lunch special during the week too. Perfect little lunch spot!

Google
I’m impress with their quality of food, service and reasonable price. I order spicy chicken wing, rice noodle soup and ice coffee with 2 condensed milk. The chicken wing is good and spicy but a bit salty. The coffee is really good too that I order 2 as I’m pretty picky with my coffee. The rice noodle soup is great. Really flavorful and also the amount of noodle and meat is surprisingly good amount that I can’t complain. Compare to other restaurants, this place is giving you good amount of food and the price is not high at all. I really recommend to come and try this place out. But be careful with the chili oil, it is somewhat spicy for me. And I’m really eat spicy. So put little at a time.

Yelp
Tried this Thai spot for the first time and had a mixed but overall positive experience. We started with their wontons and pork egg rolls. The wontons were cooked really well--crispy and fresh--but a little on the bland side flavor-wise. Still, I'd take them over the egg rolls, which were smaller than expected and just okay. The real standout, though, was the orange chicken. Easily one of the best I've had in my life--perfectly balanced, crispy, and flavorful without being too sweet or too heavy. That dish alone is enough to bring me back. Next time, I'm definitely trying the hot and sour soup. Looking forward to returning soon.

Yelp
The food on that specific day was very poor in quality. My wife and I have been going at least once a week to Lisu's Thai taste. Almost 100% of the time the food was excellent. In the past, one time the food was of poor quality, no taste, no spices as ordered. I complained the next day and the staff made it right. The second time the food was not cooked properly, flat, no taste, not what we ordered. There were no spices. I went in to speak with the owner. He said his cooks work six days a week and that the food is always good. I asked him to do the right and honorable thing. I wanted him to make us what we were poorly served the prior night. He refused, threw a vocal fit and ran into the back of the restaurant. I again ask that he do the right thing. Yelp
What a great little spot! Totally unpretentious and home-y feel to it, with really great food to back. I got the tofu pad kee mao ($12.15), aka drunken noodles, at a spice level 3. Now, I'm a person who does really enjoy spicy food, but normally when I get Thai food, spice level 3 has me sweating and in tears. However! I felt like Lisu's was the perfect amount of spice that actually complemented the flavors of the dish rather than just overwhelming them with spice, which I so appreciated. I really liked the lettuce in the dish as well--I've never had lettuce sauteed in a noodle dish like that before, but it really worked for me! We also got the cream cheese wontons ($5.95) and the vegetable egg rolls ($5.95), which were both delicious! I'm normally pretty sensitive to the smell and taste of fish sauce in egg roll sauces, but either their sauce didn't have it, or it wasn't noticeable, so I was actually able to enjoy my egg rolls with sauce. Also have to shout out the staff--they were quick to come and take our order and I didn't have to chase them down for the check but I never felt rushed, and we literally never had to wait for our waters to be refilled. For all my local movie buffs, this is the perfect place to stop in for a quick but delicious dinner before a movie at the Rosedale AMC. We got arrived to Lisu around 7p and the service and kitchen were both so quick and attentive that we were able to make our 8p movie with plenty of time to spare.

Yelp
This is a small hidden gem in Roseville. The inside of the place is cute and homey. Very open space and small. The service was good, they were super quick since they didn't have a lot of customers that day, but everything came out in an orderly manner. Let me just get to the food. I love the thai tea with condensed milk. It was really good, however a little too much of the tea, but the taste will become better as the ice melts. The fish cake was delicious, it looks kind of like beef patties but the flavor was really savory. You can taste the lemon grass and it pairs well with the sweet sauce. The chicken wings were also really delicious. It was both savory and sweet with a hint of spicy. However, it pair really well together. The chicken wasn't dry and the crunch was there. It wasn't over fry or over batter. The sauce doesn't take away the crunchiness of the chicken. Will definitely get the chicken again. The rice noodle was very beefy. Yummy. It tastes like a mix of pho and boat noodle. A good amount of beef and noodles. The pad see ew was amazing it was My favorite thing from this meal. I love the flavoring and the noodle. The Chinese broccoli was cooked perfectly. The only thing i would change in this dish is more meat portion and thinner slices of beef. Also, i got a 4 out of 5 for spicy and it wasn't that spicy. Next time i will do a five. My least favorite dish from this meal was the duck curry. The curry was too sweet to my liking. I did like the first few bites, but as you keep eating it gets too sweet. Also, there was a very small amount of duck in the curry. I would definitely say to get a different kind of protein if you want more meat (if the portions of meat is more in the other curry dish). In all, great place and good food. The menu is not too big which is good they can focus on their flavor.

Yelp
A later lunch than I usually have and Lisu's was right there so I went in. I was the only person in the restaurant. The owner/manager held a menu but never gave it to me, she told a server what I wanted. I was served a plate of sugary sweet chicken, of which I took bite and said this is too sweet, I can't eat this. It became apparent they were not giving me an option. After sitting 10 mins waiting I got up, paid my $12 lunch bill and left. Needless to say I'm never going back. A bad experience with rude people.

Yelp
What a great find. This restaurant offers really delicious food - we loved the lettuce wraps and green curry - and attentive waitstaff. Seems like the kind of place that a lot of people get takeout from, yet getting a seat was very quick and easy. It's a hidden away gem in Roseville.

Yelp
Great Thai food! You honestly can't go wrong with Lisu's. The service is just fine, the ambiance is nothing special, but the food is legit. Great noodle dishes, tasty curries and their fried rice dishes are super good.

Yelp
Met my former father in law and his sister who was visiting from Tampa. She brought the warm weather with her. Daughter Madison joined us as well and we had a handful of dishes. Quite good all the way around. Not in the photo was their egg roll. It was pretty tasty.

Yelp
Good food. Fresh and hot. You can have 5 levels of spice. I had number 2. One of the lowest.

Cozy. Friendly service. Delicious Thai food. Fresh vegetables. We will be back. We recommend it.

Yelp
Lisu's has been our go-to Thai restaurant! While the ambiance is somewhat bland, the food is always piping hot and entrees are always delicious. They are also one of the only nearby Thai places that has pad see ew, my fave, on the menu. The starters aren't memorable but the entrees make up for this. Wait staff are generally efficient.

Yelp
Lisu's Thai Taste is (mostly) a nice restaurant. They have a wonderful assortment of Thai dishes, all of which for the most part are very flavorful and on par with Thai dishes from other restaurants. I have tried many of them and been satisfied with all of them. And all for an affordable price and big portion as well. However, I must say that occasionally the quality will not be the best. For example, the Pad Kee Mao is often flavorless, and the Massaman curry is sometimes far too watery, and the Pad Bai Krapao often lacks flavor too. And when you order something "with spice" it seems far too often that the "spice" is merely dumping a hefty amount of chili flakes on top of the dish at the end. But beyond these occurrences, everything is quite good. The service is typically wonderful here, the employees are always so kind and nice to everyone in the establishment, and are always paying attention to caring for the customers in the restaurants. It's truly wonderful. Although, it's not always the fastest service. There's been plenty of times when takeout orders seem to take far too long, and are occasionally filled with incorrect items, even when the restaurant is not busy at all. But, the service for the most part is very nice. The ambience is nice too, however it seems to almost be trying a bit "too hard" if you know what I mean. Apart from the typical beautiful Thai decor, there is a rainforest image simply plastered onto the wall, and looks out of place, with a single tv screen playing a constant image of a waterfall in the corner. It seems nice, but also unprofessional and over the top in a way too. Beyond those obscurities it is a nice, quiet restaurant at most times, apart from nights they are very busy. All in all, Lisu is a nice establishment, and I recommend it if you're looking for some Thai food in the local area. Is it the best food? Not at all, and its quality can be rather unpredictable at times. It is still a nice place and I'm sure they will continue to do well.

Yelp
My old, go to place for pad Thai closed a few years ago so I've been trying to find a replacement. This one is it! It's moist, on the saucy side with large shrimp, carefully not overcooked. Tastes delicious! My husband loves the spinach curry with chicken and says it's one of the best renditions. Why the 4 stars? Also ordered thom ka soup. Ordered it medium and it was deadly. Need to tone it down a few notches in the soup. My husband said his entire digestive tract was burning after trying to eat a bowl of it. Service is kind and respectful. Ambience is what one would expect to experience in a suburban strip mall! Unique to this one is there is a tv constantly streaming pictures of the restaurant food.

The food at Lisu is delicious! The restaurant is comfortable and the service is attentive and courteous!

Yelp
Went a couple of weeks ago and loved the food. Checked Yelp today as we were going again this evening. This is what we found (see picture below). So, off we went to Lisu's Thai Taste arriving about 7:40. The hand chalked sign in the front window confirmed they closed at 8:30. Walked in and stood for a few minutes before someone came forward and asked if they could help us with something. I answered "yes, table for two." She looked at me like I had two heads and said, "our kitchen closed at 7:30. Our restaurant closes at 8:30." Never have I encountered this anywhere before. Needless to say, I was not only caught off guard, but could not believe this was actually how this restaurant operated. Needless to say, I will not be darkening their door in the future.

Yelp
Sad to be writing this review as I had been a returning customer each and every Friday since my boyfriend took me here August 16th. I had a really uncomfortable, unnecessary customer service experience when I went to pick up my food here last Friday. I noticed after ordering here several times that the peanut sauce (that you pay extra for mind you) is filled 1⁄4 of the way full. I have to call in my orders regardless because peanut sauce as well as plain white rice isn't listed on their menu website. Nonetheless the past few times I have requested that the sauce please be filled to the top of the container as I am paying extra for it and don't think filling it up 1⁄4 full is fair. It's like getting a queso at chipotle and they fill it up 1⁄4 of the way... Anyways the past two times I had mentioned on the phone to please fill to the top it wasn't an issue. The final and last time I called to order here the owner (I believe) answered and gave me a really hard time for this simple request. I went to pick up my food and just knew she was going to make things even more uncomfortable but hoped she wouldn't make a big deal out of it again. Sure enough she said- "I checked w/ the kitchen and they said last time they filled it up all the way". I said yeah.. Because I asked them to. Long story short she kept arguing w/ me and said next time check your food before leaving and then request for it to be filled to the top. First of all, I had been a returning customer at this point for the past three months each and every friday. Number two, customers are always right. Number three, literally why make such a big deal out of it? Due to the way she handled this and made me feel this was my last and final visit. Good customer service goes a long way with me and the owner making a big deal about something so miniscule- requesting for the sauce you pay extra for to be filled to the top of the container (the same size as chipotle queso) has desecraded my view of this business. P.S- if the restaurant reads this- don't reach out. I'm not interested in taking my review down for any incentive.

Yelp
I usually order ahead. Their Spring Rolls are a meal in themselves. I tried other delicious options. Friendly staff and great decor. Highly recommend this place which is located in Roseville by PetCo.

Yelp
As an Asian I would frequent this place often. It has been a while but now the dishes that I would normally get have become too sweet. I always get the red curry and Pad Thai. This time when ordering them the dishes for both were too sugary and I was unable to finish the dish. I may like my food to be more on the salty side yes but this level of sugar/sweet was as of they ignored what the original dish is suppose to taste like. I would not recommend anymore.

Yelp
I was really impressed with the portions, quality, and price of the food here! It was delicious! The only difficult part was when I used Apple Pay and the waitress got very upset because a tip option didn't show up. She didn't provide a solution and it was an awkward situation even though I wanted to tip using my card again! So the service is the only thing that brings this one star down.

Yelp
Found this spot 2 years ago and we (coworkers) have been going regularly for lunch ever since. We've tried a few things off the menu, but the main thing we're ordering is the beef noodle soup "pho". IMHO best 'dark' broth pho in the area! --probably because there isn't any other spots within a 5min drive from our work place. I mean we have tried other spots further, but nothing has beat this spot in terms of flavor. There's probably 2 that are close, but none has us wanting to go back for more. Service-wise you can expect the expected. On busy days, service is slow. You can also expect that sometimes food will take 15+minutes. It's also possible you might have to grab more napkins on your own if you need more. It's also possible you might have to ask for more water as well. What I'm saying is, the service is there. They're all friendly and nice people. Do be warned though, you might hear the aunty be demanding sometimes to new workers. The place is nice. Situated between a small pet store and a sports store. I don't think any of the tables are wobbly, but don't blame me if there is, personally, we've only really sat in a few booths and tables. They've got plenty of tables. I don't recall any music, but I do recall just a slideshow of their menu on repeat. Just sneaking in my 'ambiance' piece. Anyways, pro tip: if you're trying to grab a quick lunch and dine-in, you can order ahead of time on the phone. Another pro tip: during lunch hours, lunch special portion is a good option if you're not able to eat a whole entree by yourself. So if you see something you want and it's on the lunch special, give it a go. Just some info on things I've tried: Khao Soy is one of the best I've had in the Cities, unless someone can point me to a better spot. Chicken Lettuce Wrap is . Spicy chicken wing is hit or miss, but when it hits, it's . Don't expect the Pad Kra Pow to be like your typical Thai restaurant - this one is a light stir fried version without the fried egg and without the minced meat. Rah Nah is real good. Fried rice is . I highly recommend this spot. Note* get your spice levels correctly. Be warned, mild can be spicy.

Yelp
It Was Our Absolute First Time Here And We Were Quite Excited, Firstly We Got Some Appetizers Which Were The Potstickers Cream Cheese Wontons And Chicken Satay Which Was Absolutely Delectable I Loved The Way The Creamy Cheese Melted In Your Mouth It Was Extremely Good I Got The Tom Kha Soup Which Was So Warm Especially With The Spice I Got It With Tofu And It Tasted Dee-Lish! The Service Was Quite Nice Our Attender Was The Owner Herself She Kept Calling Us "Hun" Which Was So Adorable And She Had A Nice Can-Do Spirit! The Theme Of The Restaurant Was Thailand Of Course It Was Honestly A Pretty Zen Place Which Is Up To My Speed.

Lonnie Z.

Yelp
First time there. Food was excellent. Beef salad and green curry were excellent. They present the food beautifully as well. And finally, I found a Thai restaurant that will make my dishes 10x hotter than their spiciest option. It was fantastic food.
google avatar

Kayla L.

Yelp
egg rolls were amazing! I ordered the vegetable ones. You get three very decent sized rolls per order. Very good deal for the money! Lots of food! I also did the vegetable fried rice. Lots of veggies which I liked but I did forget to ask for some spice. You have to specify a level of spice you want. Service super great, friendly staff! Check this place out for delicious food at a low price!
google avatar

Ethan T.

Yelp
The lunch specials are fantastic! We arrived before the lunch crowd. When 12:00 arrived, the restaurant didn't have an open table! The food was delicious. You can pick the spice level (1-5). I chose 5 for my dish. The heat was just the right amount. The service here was wonderful. My water glass never went empty. Great experience.

Saumya C.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I found it by accident. This is by far the best Thai food I have had in a while. Everything tastes amazing. I order takeout from here all the time now. It is a small and simple place inside, but the taste of the food is some of the best I have had. Highly recommend! Ambience is simple, it is a regular looking restaurant from the inside but it's maintained well. They also have a parking lot which is easily accessible. The staff was friendly and nice. I have made a reel on them, check out saumfinds on Instagram for pictures!

Yelp
We had been to Lisu's many times but had not been recently. After tonight we will not be back. The pad Thai was by far the worst I have had in the cities. The noodles were an overcooked gummy mess , the pork was sparce and the seasoning/sauce was nonexistent with no hint of the sweet/sour/spicy flavor profile. If we lived a little closer or if had been earlier in the evening I would have simply returned it. I did however call the manager to let her know and she seemed to feel I was fishing for something as she claimed that no one has ever complained about that dish and that this is just the way it's prepared. I explained that the kitchen had not prepared this well at all, that it was inedible, and she let me know that they cannot issue credit. Bottom line, buyer beware that the pad thai here is apparently under-seasoned, overcooked and not to be questioned. Your final experience may end up being throwing away what was just purchased.

Some of the best Potstickers and mango sticky rice I have Ever had. I have never had a be Meal there. Everything is always fresh and really good tating

Yelp
I called in my order since I knew I was going to do take out after getting a couple things next door from Petco. The staff who took my order over the phone was nice and it took about 15 min for my order to be ready. I got the chicken skewers, papaya salad, chicken lettuce wrap and pad thai. The chicken skewers was average but the pad thai was pretty good. It was sweet, sour and salty- not spicy like I asked for but American spicy I guess you can say. The papaya was disappointing- overpriced and not flavorful. And the chicken lettuce wrap which I think is their version of chicken laab basically just tasted like soy sauce so I just threw it away. Overall, I felt like it was Americanized Thai food and not authentic.

Dylan K.

Yelp
First time visiting this place, just stopped in for a quick lunch. Quick service, very friendly staff, nice prices. But most importantly, my food was extremely hot and fresh. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
The prices are incredible! Especially if you go for lunch! I work in the area and stopped by this little hole-in-the-wall. Very peaceful interior and they get quite a good lunch rush from the surrounding businesses. I ordered the masman curry (basically red curry with peanuts and potatoes). I asked for medium spice but it seemed mild, so I'll have to convince them I can handle more next time. Although it wasn't bringing the heat, it did not lack in taste! The spice blend they placed on top was expert-level flavor! Perfect lunch portion, but my guest couldn't finish their whole plate. I licked my clean! I will be back! I have a solid Thai spot by my house, but this ranks high and I wish it was closer to home! Easy parking in a shopping area.
google avatar

Yelp
Tasty menu items, ample parking and seating, large portions and a great value. I will be back!.

Yelp
I have to say their food is okay but the service is terrible and unfriendly. I called their number trying to place an order to go. It was lunch time and I asked what their lunch menu look like. The lady on the phone said that lunch menu is for dine-in only so I said okay, I will dine in and I will be there in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, I arrived and the server told me that lunch time is over(5 minutes past 2pm). I asked why wouldn't she informed me over the phone that lunch is about over in 5 minutes so I wouldn't waste my time driving there. She's speechless and kept saying it's already past 2pm and reluctant to be flexible. I'm hungry so I order their regular menu and ended up paying more money. Also, just a heads up they charge me with additional 4% when I used my credit card without informing me in advance. Terrible customer service and be carful on their hidden charges!
google avatar

Rishi S.

Yelp
Their pad thai is so good! Located in Roseville is one of the most delicious Pad Thai dishes we've ever had. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and Red curry. We recommend all three! It's located in the same plaza as Play It Again Sports and there is plenty of parking!

Yelp
Stopped in for a late dinner. The restaurant was very quiet With one other family. The service was great and the staff were all friendly. However, the food was very bland, we didn't finish any of it.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
This place is so close to where I live that I was extremely hopeful it'd be one of those hidden gem Thai restaurants. I'll say that it's not bad, may even be good, but it's not great. Meat on both my beef curry and my wife's chicken pad thai was overcooked and on the tough side. The curry sauce itself was okay, but not the kind where just eating the sauce mixed with rice could be a delightful meal, which is what I'm looking for in a truly great curry.
google avatar

Connie D.

Yelp
This is the only Thai place in Roseville (that I know of) so I like to get take out when I'm in this part of town. Their take out is quick and easy and there's no fussing over slow service at dinner. There have been a handful of times I'd come here with my family for dinner and at least one of our orders would come out wrong. The most memorable of these times was when I ordered the mock duck pad see ew and it came out with beef. I sent it back and our server asked if it was ok if they just added mock duck to the dish instead of remaking it and wouldn't charge for the beef. I said it was fine because I was hungry and didn't want to waste the dish or wait for a new one to to be made. I'm not vegetarian/vegan, so it wasn't a huge deal to me, I just had to pick off the beef. (I wouldn't say this was great service on their part.) The past aside, my take out orders have always been accurate and delicious. On this visit for takeout, we ordered mock duck Pad See Eiw, tofu Pad Thai and the Tha Lae Yum Woon Sae. I didn't really care for the Pad Thai, it was to sweet and didn't have much other flavor. It's difficult to find authentic Pad Thai after having it in Thailand a few years ago. The Pad See Eiw is always my go-to and always satisfies my craving. It's savory, a little sweet and the perfect amount of medium spice. The Chinese broccoli is usually pretty sparse and this time was no different. I would've liked a little crunch to each bite. This was my first time trying the Tha Lae Yum Woon Sae. It had lots of flavor- citrusy, vinegary, savory and light. The red and green peppers and onions gave it a nice crunchy balance to each bite. The only this thing was it could've used more dressing. It has good flavor, despite it being so dry. The shrimp was fresh and the calamari was good too! Overall, it was very fresh!

Yelp
Adam H. and I stopped by Lisu's after a movie at Rosedale. We arrived right before 9pm on a Saturday night, but they were more than welcoming and said we had plenty of time to eat (they technically close at 9:30pm on Saturdays). This is a no frills place, but the service was attentive and quick. We split the spring rolls and basil fried rice with chicken. The portions were very large, and we even had leftovers to take home for the next day! Overall, for about $18 including tip, the price, quality, and service couldn't have been better! As others have mentioned, there is plenty of parking and this is about a 2 minute drive from Rosedale.

Yelp
I keep finding myself coming back here, so I suppose that's a good thing. Roseville is not exactly known for offering authentic Asian fare, so this place is definitely a find. There's a lot of Thai in town, with my personal standard bearers being Karta Thai (NE Mpls) and On's Kitchen on University, from the Americanized to the authentic, and this place holds its own. The lunch specials are a great deal, as you get the same curries as the entree menu. I got the green curry with chicken at spicy, and it was fantastic! I even ordered an extra bowl of rice and there was enough curry to carry the entire 2nd bowl! It was wipe your brow good!! They lost one star because on another occasion I got the pad Thai, and it was way too saucy and overwhelming. Also service is not the quickest, so don't go if you're in a hurry! Overall this has really become a stand-by for our family for Asian food in Roseville. The others are Willow Gate for Vietnamese and Szechuan on Snelling (beware they charge extra for rice!) Give Lisu a try you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Wow! I honestly was a bit unsure of this restaurant, but I left surprisingly satisfied with the food we ordered. The food was great and the portion was just right! We ended up ordering: - Basil Fried Rice The fried rice was great! It tasted delicious, the portion was a lot! I didn't even finish it... - Fried Wonton (Shrimp) I really liked this type of wonton, and I would definitely recommend you trying this!! There were about 6 pieces for this appetizer. - Spring Roll The spring roll was ok... I wasn't too impressed with it. I felt the veggie to protein ratio was a bit off. I thought there was an abundance of veggies and herbs. I would've liked more of a balance. I only end up eating one. - Red Curry + White Rice Super delicious but a bit salty. Nevertheless, it was good. For the most part, we packed more than half of our main entrees to go. I would say this is a good Thai restaurant in Roseville. I will definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
On our way home from the airport. Yelp showed us this place and we tried it. Small place in a warehouse area. It was absolutely amazing. The food was great and reasonably priced. I had drunken noodles with chicken. Number three on the spice chart was perfect. It bit back a little but the flavor was good. We also had curry fried rice with pork that was also tasty. Spicy but good flavor. Both entrees were enough for a second meal at home. Add a couple of eggs and the fried rice made a good breakfast.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp: thank you Yelpers! Be warned-we had our food at Spice Level 3-which was really hot & spicy! We tried the Drunken Noodles with Chicken-amazing good! Slightly sweet with basil. I had the Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork-spicy with small pieces of carrots and peas! This was our first visit to Lisu's and saw the note on the door about the 3.99% surcharge on credit cards, but not in debit cards. Still not a lot of money for a lot of food!

Yelp
Definitely my go to for Thai food! All the food I've tried is very flavorful, my favorite is the pineapple chicken fried rice (medium spicy), portions are good and prices are very reasonable. Will continue to always support!

Yelp
The absolute best Thai restaurant we've ever eaten at. Amazing vegetarian options with mock duck as an option. They are always very respectful and kind. Service is very fast (we usually order take out). We go at least once every 2 weeks because we can't get enough of it!
