I couldn’t agree more with all the positive reviews given by other reviewers. This place is home away from home in terms of warmth and hospitality. It’s small with just 10 rooms - and therein lies the strength. You get individual attention quite unlike big hotel chains. We stayed in the luxury suite with a private plunge pool, and it was worth every penny. Immaculately clean and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The cabanas facing the sea are just across the road for you to relax. The Miami Beach is a minutes walk. The onsite Cafe Luna restaurant is a high end one, with food quality, taste and presentation on par with a Michelin starred restaurant. We had our breakfast included and tried their brunch and dinner quite a few times. Simply outstanding! If you want to try local cuisines, walk right and in 2 minutes you’ll reach Caspers that serves amazing pina coladas. Don’t stop there. Finish off your pina colada and keep walking for another 3 minutes. You’ll reach Oistins with a series of shacks selling the best Bajan food. Pats is hyped. I would avoid it, not for their long queues but their below average large portioned food. Instead go to Chillin and Grillin. Their barracuda is mind blowing (check out their google reviews). If you want to be in the best beach on the island, Carlisle Bay is 20 mins away in a cab. |So, as you can tell, the location of the hotel is superlative. The staff of the hotel are at a different level when it comes to service and professionalism. Credit goes to the super efficient manager Sandra, who has become like a family member now. So are the others - Linda, Michelle, Shaun, Mona, Dee and another smiling lady with glasses at the reception whose name I can’t recollect but whose smile and warmth would remain in our hearts forever. We miss you all and would cherish your warmth and hospitality forever. |You and your hotel are the true representatives of Barbados - warm, cordial, ever smiling and helpful. Love you all and hope to see you again.
