"Little Arches is something rare in today’s Caribbean — this tiny family-owned boutique feels at once exclusive and down-home, remote and insular yet of a piece with its surroundings. Something of a contradiction, to be sure, but that’s part of the appeal; the feeling is one of intimate seclusion, yet the village of Oistins is within walking distance, and its weekly block party and regular outdoor fish fry offer a taste of authentic Caribbean culture that’s hard to come by at the bigger or more rarefied resorts." - Tablet Hotels

Our visit to beautiful Barbados was a belated birthday gift and well worth the wait. Being from the Caribbean we are less inclined to tourist packed all inclusive resorts preferring the intimacy and personalized service offered by Little Arches. The hotel was selected based on reviews which emphasized the personalized touch, private pool, easy access to a lovely beach and good food. Little Arches surpassed expectations. We particularly appreciated getting to know the staff with special mention of the front desk ladies, the managers and the breakfast wait staff at Cafe Luna. All other staff from housekeeping to the grounds were extremely polite and welcoming. Our room which was a surprise upgrade was excellent with one caveat that it is located right below Cafe Luna which is a very popular dinner option for locals and visitors alike. As such, there was a steady beat of shifting chairs and other restaurant sounds well past 10.30pm on most nights. That being the only downside, it does not change my overall positive experience| Little Arches and Barbados are now our weekend getaways destinations.

Spent five nights at the Little Arches in July 25 and loved it. It's a beautiful little hotel with great views of the ocean and close to the beach (they will set up beach chairs and an umbrella for you). We loved our room with a sitting area by the pool, perfect for morning coffee. And cannot say enough about the staff. Every single person was smiling and wanted to make our stay enjoyable. We can't wait to go back!

I couldn’t agree more with all the positive reviews given by other reviewers. This place is home away from home in terms of warmth and hospitality. It’s small with just 10 rooms - and therein lies the strength. You get individual attention quite unlike big hotel chains. We stayed in the luxury suite with a private plunge pool, and it was worth every penny. Immaculately clean and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The cabanas facing the sea are just across the road for you to relax. The Miami Beach is a minutes walk. The onsite Cafe Luna restaurant is a high end one, with food quality, taste and presentation on par with a Michelin starred restaurant. We had our breakfast included and tried their brunch and dinner quite a few times. Simply outstanding! If you want to try local cuisines, walk right and in 2 minutes you’ll reach Caspers that serves amazing pina coladas. Don’t stop there. Finish off your pina colada and keep walking for another 3 minutes. You’ll reach Oistins with a series of shacks selling the best Bajan food. Pats is hyped. I would avoid it, not for their long queues but their below average large portioned food. Instead go to Chillin and Grillin. Their barracuda is mind blowing (check out their google reviews). If you want to be in the best beach on the island, Carlisle Bay is 20 mins away in a cab. |So, as you can tell, the location of the hotel is superlative. The staff of the hotel are at a different level when it comes to service and professionalism. Credit goes to the super efficient manager Sandra, who has become like a family member now. So are the others - Linda, Michelle, Shaun, Mona, Dee and another smiling lady with glasses at the reception whose name I can’t recollect but whose smile and warmth would remain in our hearts forever. We miss you all and would cherish your warmth and hospitality forever. |You and your hotel are the true representatives of Barbados - warm, cordial, ever smiling and helpful. Love you all and hope to see you again.

This was the perfect place for our honeymoon! So romantic! Everyone at Little Arches was so friendly and accommodating. They provided top notch service We will forever have fond memories of our honeymoon there. The cabanas by the water were comfortable and provided a great place to relax any time of day or night. My husband enjoyed having his cigars out there. We had the suite with private plunge pool which we highly recommend. Cafe Luna was so good and the menu diverse enough that we had several dinners there, in addition to the awesome breakfast which was included in our seven night stay. We hope to go back to Little Arches for our anniversary!

We visited Little Arches at the end of April and from the moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from Sandra & the team. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the pool. It had everything you could need and was very clean and kept this way during our stay. It was a refreshing change not to have to compete for sunloungers - they were plentiful and available at all times. Sandra ,Emma and the team, including a shout out to the housekeeping staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing break and for exceptional customer service then this is definitely the place for you.Looking forward to a return visit.

What can a person say about Little Arches other than it is a slice of heaven. From the peaceful serenity, gorgeous rooms, jacuzzi and private pool, the wonderful staff, Emma, Sandra, Myrane & Linda who are the loveliest of ladies, the cleaners and waiting staff in Cafe Luna were excellent too, food in Luna is so delicious that I still think fondly of some meals there. Yum!||We went for our honeymoon and I haven’t stopped raving about the place. We would LOVE to come back in maybe 10 years as an anniversary, it is definitely a place we will revisit.||If you want an intimate, unique and just magical experience, pick Little Arches, you won’t regret it!

We were so pleased that the same crew caring for Little Arches on our visit 8 years ago was still there. Everyone from the front desk, grounds caretakers, servers and lovely women who add the special touches to your room - they are happy to be there, such a treat to chat with, and excellent at their work. What a testament to the business - keeping such quality employees around who know just how to make you feel welcome, relaxed, and appreciated. ||Little Arches is the place to unwind and refresh. From the calming pool and patio to the lovely garden cabanas and the consistent delicious food from Cafe Luna. Everything we fondly remembered about our first visit (banana pancakes, quiet patios, beautiful views, morning walks on the beach with friendly locals, romantic dinners) was there in spades, and the new additions (cabana garden, private outdoor spaces for each room) made the week extra lovely. ||Small details like the choice of music playing at the pool and restaurant, evening lighting, restaurant hours for hotel guests add so much to the overall experience. These are things we look for and appreciate!||If you are looking for a large scale operation with multiple crowded pool decks and waiting in ques for dinner - Little Arches is not for you.|It’s exactly the right choice for us!
