Little Bar is truly one of Hoboken’s best hidden gems. The cocktails are outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the overall vibe is always on point. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a drink before or after dinner. Ethel and the team are incredibly welcoming and consistently provide top-notch service and great recommendations. Absolutely incredible experience!! Phenomenal handcrafted unique drinks and amazing staff- Val, Sam, and Jay! With the smaller space, everyone was extremely accommodating and made us feel comfortable. The atmosphere is chic and intimate. The music was perfectly curated. Only went for drinks, so we didn't get a chance to get food, but it looked delicious, and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

The Little Bar isn’t for everyone — and thank God for that. Yes, the cocktails cost more than your usual Hoboken spot. But it’s refreshing to go somewhere that treats you like a person and doesn’t bow to entitlement. No, they won’t move your seat because you’re “too close to the door.” Guess what? Everyone’s close to the door — the place is tiny on purpose. That’s the charm. And if you’re upset about being “tricked” into bottled water… be serious. You can literally say, “Oh no thanks, I meant tap.” Paying $5,000 in rent and complaining about $8 water says more about you than it does about them. This bar is tiny on purpose. Hard to get into on purpose. Good on purpose. Every cocktail is crafted — not splashed together while someone yells over Pitbull. You come here for conversation, for the playlist, and for a martini that actually tastes like care. So yeah — it’s not cheap. But neither is taste. It’s basically a West Village bar that got tired of Manhattan and moved across the river to chill — and honestly, so did most of us. And to Ethel — thank you Queen for taking this bar to NYC levels. Your regulars see the passion, the long nights, and the perfection in every pour.

Hands down the best bar in Hoboken. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with the manager, Ethel on several events at Little Bar. She is incredibly talented, creative, considerate, responsive and detail oriented. The drinks and food are AMAZING. The ambiance is similar to a Manhattan speakeasy, which is so rare in Hoboken, where its full of sports bars and Irish pubs. Ethel creates such an elevated experience and has impeccable taste. I highly recommend bringing out of town friends and family there or first dates as a way to impress people and to 1000% have a private party there. The staff will treat you like absolute royalty. It is always my go-to spot for a mature night life experience in the area.

The Little Bar in Hoboken is the definition of a hidden gem. The space is gorgeous—cozy and charming, yet elevated in all the right ways. You can immediately tell the team and mixologists take so much pride in what they’re serving and in creating an unforgettable experience. They were incredibly friendly, making thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences and even introducing us to a few new cocktails and brands we hadn’t tried before—spot on every time. The caviar dish with house-made chips was the perfect little indulgence, and the whipped ricotta with honey was absolutely excellent. But the star of the night? The Jersey Ube Royale martini—trust me, you’ve never had anything like it! This has quickly become my go-to spot for both date night and girls’ night. A true must-visit in Hoboken!

Little Bar, BIG Hospitality....loved the variety the cocktail list provides, and service by Ethel and Hector is superb. They not only craft cocktails thoughtfully, they also craft your perfect evening out- whether you're looking for a cozy corner to catch up with friends, or to learn a bit more about a particular spirit or cocktail making in general. We were walking and came across little bar. What a hidden gem. The drinks were spectacular, and Ethyl and Hector made our evening extra special. We will be in town one more day, and we will be going back. The drinks were WOW factor. They are true mixologist . We jas the caviar and their smoked salmon, which were delicious boards. Reservations are recommended, but they do their very best to accommodate walk it's. Thank you, Ethyl and Hector!!

I absolutely love this place. But what really stood out was the amazing service I received while I was there. I believe her name was Ethel. So kind. So knowledgeable and prompt. I will gladly come as long as she’s there. As a Food Network personality having been on chopped and beat Bobby Flay I take my dinning experiences serious when I have the time off. She delivered with zero disappointment. Give her a raise! Can’t wait to come back for another visit.

Great bar! Loved the vibe. It is reservation only as it is a very small bar, hence the name. Great menu. I highly recommend the ube martini! It was amazing.

Surprised by how far these conservas go! A deceiving amount of food in those tins and more than enough to share. We got the truffle whipped honey ricotta, tuna belly, cockles in brine, and a pizza which was substituted with jamón Serrano. Very solid pizza, surprisingly tasty with great crust. Drinks were very good as well and we loved our waiter. Great experience all around, a cute local spot for an elevated drink or snack.

Definitely 50/50 on this place. Went on a Wednesday for their cocktail and pizza Happy Hour. I enjoyed my drink and the pies, but I wouldn't say it was a crazy good deal. The space is small, but decorated nicely. I'd recommend for a date spot.

Starting with the highlights. The ambiance is great. 90's hip hop playing constantly and dark moody elegance. The bartender is so sweet and makes a good old fashioned though they do need Woodford on the bar. Good crowd. The challenges. This 1.5 hour maximum on a Friday/Saturday is way too much. I had been there once before and we were shuttled over to the bar even though it was like 7:30P and the place was def not filled. I wouldn't have gone back unless my friend recommended it and I decided to give it another chance. At the exact hour mark, the shuttling out began. At the HOUR mark. Now, I could tell the bartender felt weird about it and was caught in a bad place. But this type of thing is not good hospitality. It just isn't. Maybe extend to 2 hours so you don't bother the flow of conversation at the hour mark which is straight silliness. And, we left at exactly the 1.5 hour and I could tell that another reservation was waiting. You have NO buffer in between resos? That's just bad business. In sum, good bar. Great music. Bad policy which ends up making folks feel unwelcome.

Super small, super cute, fancy cocktail bar in North Hoboken! Came in with two friends on a busy Saturday night on a whim without a reservation. Even though the place is teensy, the hostess was very kind and accommodating and smushed us into a corner table. Reservations are highly recommended here bc of how few tables they have and the limited bar seating. We ordered one round and I got a cocktail called Does Hostess Still Make Snowballs. It was really good. The base spirit is Makers Mark and it's garnished with a dried apricot covered in coconut. The drink is probably not for everyone but I loved it! The ambiance is dark and sexy and I had an overall positive experience. I'll definitely come back and try more fun cocktails from the menu!

Nice little place. Drinks are decent. Quiet relaxed vibes and good decor. Would return again.

Went back to visit again. The service is still very good. All the drinks are very good. My personal favorite is the Gray Lady. The Damson Negroni is great. The Frank's Way martini is very different from typical martinis. Very spirit forward. The Italian Margarita was OK, but not amazing. This trip we only had the complimentary nuts and house made chips.

True to its name, Little Bar is about 500 square feet, but it also punches far above its weight class in terms of signature cocktails and small plates. The venue has an awesome, cozy, speakeasy vibe, complete with heavy drapes at the front entrance to keep out sunlight, prying eyes and excess noise. The decor is sleek and classic while also implying a traditionalist feel. I sampled their Punch Me With Strawberries (appleton estate 8-year rum, brandy, whey, st. elder elderflower), which was delicious, fresh-tasting and refreshing, and the Margherita Italica (patron silver tequila, italicus rosolio bergamot, chile), which was lovely, nuanced and way spicy! Their whipped ricotta with truffle honey was decadent, smooth and rich with just the right amount of subtle sweetness. The robiola cheese resembled brie in all the best ways. The house-made smoked salmon provided a nice umami treat. The serrano ham was thinly sliced and well flavored. The service was absolutely lovely. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and personable, willing to answer any questions and make any modifications upon request. I'll can't wait to head back!

Cute little (stress the LITTLE) new cocktail spot in uptown Hoboken. A nice welcome to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink, or night-cap. Drinks are punnily named, many with homage to Hoboken, and overall cocktail menu has heavy influence on Gin or Whiskeys -- not so much with vodka.rum.tequila although of course you are able to order off menu. Re decor think velvet and art deco vibes, a lovely floral accent wall, and sparkling lights (although might need to be a tad bit dimmer to really hone it in). Overall a good experience, but as others mentioned, I'm not sure I am comfortable frequenting a place considering the price point - $25 Widow Jane cocktail in Hoboken is a bit steep for regular pop-ins.

Drinks are okay. Nothing special. Especially for the prices. The bar itself is cute and I see it being a nice date spot. It's good to try once.

We stopped into Little Bar the other night. The appropriately-named tiny, Prohibition-style lounge was new enough to be cool, but not well-known enough yet to be packed. We approached the space, walked through the door, and pushed aside the thick curtain, unsure of what we would find on the other side. There was a classy bar that offered high-end liquors and seating at a mere 5 stools. There were also a handful of small tables, mainly for parties of 2. The décor was upscale and masculine; the lighting was dim; and the music was a bit too loud for the space, but I would definitely say it was more of date night spot, or perhaps a girls' night out venue, than anything else. When we arrived without a reservation, we were told that there were no available tables and only one free stool at the bar. We were just getting comfortable with the idea that one of us would have to stand, when the hostess told us she had a cancelation and was able to seat us at a table. Our server was knowledgeable on the menu and was able to answer my inquiries about the flavor profiles of the lesser-known spirits on the menu. In the end, I wound up ordering the "Tell Me, Why is it Called Hoboghan?", which contained Su Casa mezcal, tamarind, and Carpana Bianco (a type of vermouth). The drink reminded me of a smoky Old Fashioned, and I loved it! My boyfriend had selected the "Heaven, Hell, Hoboken...", a blend of Widow Jane Paradigm rye whiskey and absinthe with a dusting of cacao across the top. The licorice flavor of the absinthe was very overpowering, so we were both not as enthusiastic on that concoction. Regardless, it was great to have a new craft cocktail spot in the area, but when you go to check it out, just be ready to spend around $20 per drink.

Nice place, but does not warrant the price of drinks. Got 2 cocktails and ended up spending $60 somehow with tip. Unless you don't care about price, it's not a bad spot, just really small and sort of unremarkable.

Fabulous little speakeasy nestled in a corner of Uptown Hoboken. Oversized double cocktails, conserves, preserved bites, yummy cheeses and cheese fresh with chips. Step back in time to a real bar with no television sets, just 24 seats, music, lovely scene and real conversation.

I was so excited to try this new bar as a Hoboken local and fan of Halifax, but was honestly disappointed. I feel like anyone could make the basic cocktails on their list, but they were priced as if they were something special ($20+). The lighting was too bright for the space, and something just felt off. My group of four left feeling like - what did we just pay over $100 for?

I had a great night at the Little Bar. The space was welcoming and cozy with delicious drinks and a staff that answered all of my questions about their cool and unique menu of small bites. I work in the area and intend to go back again soon!
