Inside Wiseacre’s Downtown taproom, this New Haven–style spot turns out char-kissed pies built to pair with local beer. Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and covered by the Daily Memphian, it’s a lively pregame near the museum district.

I stopped by Little Bettie Pizza & Snacks while in Memphis after seeing it featured on Food Network. They have a great variety of food, but I was on a mission for one thing—the wings. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was spot on, delivering the perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. And the homemade ranch? Absolutely out of this world. If you love wings, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Pizza spot housed in a brewery. Order food at the bar, and they deliver it. Good pretzel bites and, while it sounds like an odd combination of ingredients, the Thud Butt pizza was darn near perfect, just needed a little spice to it.

This is the perfect meet up place for friends to hang talk and catch up. The make food made for drinking beer with. The place has diversity and the music is enjoyable. The tenders are friendly and knowledgeable. We spend two hour here trying food and beer and asking questions about the place the out was spacious but it was raining so we couldn’t hang outside. The beer I had wasn’t good to me but the experience made it worth trying.

We had the Thud Butt pizza and a Memphis Sun beer. It was absolutely the best! Such a unique experience. Not your typical pizza place. Definitely recommend!!

The staff was very rude! As we came in they told us the menu was limited that day, which is fine, but they were not helpful at all in recommendations. They acted as we were taking to much time and asking to many questions when they would not help us at all and just talked amping each other. The bar wasn't much better when asking for beer recommendations they acted like they didn't know a single thing about any of them. We also asked if they had straws or high chairs and a guy looked and me and ignored me (we finally found the high chairs ourself but every one of them that were stacked up were absolutely nasty like most of the tables so I cleaned it all off myself). The pizza and other food wasn't anything special but the place and everything is brewed there is very cool. The experience would have been lots better if the staff had a better attitude.

I enjoyed my time here with my wife and sister, it's a nice spot for a quick bite to eat and if you love beer this is a must. I'll add this also, it's best to eat the pizza as soon as it comes out.

Integral part of Wiseacre's space. The pizza was the star - I really enjoyed Popeye, which included spinach, artichoke hearts, and crispy parmesan. Food tab can be combined with beer bar tab. One pizza can feed two comfortably.

We were here on a Tuesday. They only had slices which isn’t what it said they would have on their own website. And half of what they had was sold out at 6 pm! We ordered two slices and one of them came out cold. We sent it back and the order taker was really snarky at us for wanting warm pizza. And neither of those pieces were nearly as good as they look on the menu based on the write ups.

Yelp
This is the food service inside Wiseacre Brewing. Light, airy space with super high ceilings and mint-colored decor. We got two pizzas - Thud Butt and Meatacre. Thud Butt was fantastic! Meatacre was extra savory (maybe even a little too salty) and spicier than anticipated. Both excellent quality. I wish they had smaller options. The pizzas are quite large so we ended up wasting half a pizza because we were stuffed!

Yelp
My wife and I wanted to try Little Bettie after seeing it on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We ordered the Thud Butt pizza and Imagine the future chicken wings. The pizza was outstanding, great flavors and the crust was awesome. The wings have a great taste to them as well, my only negative about the wings is that they were cooked a little too long. The service we had was good the wait time on the food was appropriate. I liked the vibe of the place as well, very chill and family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Absolutely worst staff members I have ever encountered!!! The girl in orange today acted as if we did something wrong when we went to order, she was standing in front of the ordering window asking us "is someone ready!" It was $7 for a SLICE of pizza!! Like that's absolutely ridiculous! I asked if they had regular drink and she said "yeah at the bar" like I'm supposed to know. My husband goes to the bar to get straws and the bar tender ignores him like he is not there. WILL NEVER BE BACK.

Yelp
This was hands down the best bbq pizza that I've ever had. I made the assumption that it might be some afterthought bar food. Absolutely not! They put their time and love into this pizza. A friend that hates creamy foods, loved the white sauce on the Hwy 78 pizza and proclaimed it was just the icing on the cake (pie) of the wonderful ingredients underneath. I planned on eating more slices, but only managed 3. It was so good that another friend that had a slice ordered his own Hwy 78. Run, don't walk to partake in the best pizza in town!

Yelp
We ordered a couple pizzas. One was the thud butt(not all the hype), and Yo Quiero Chorizo(really good). Beer is mediocre.

Yelp
The new space for wiseacre is amazing. The snack bar is a really cool concept with Andrew Michael Group and a much welcomed convenient and reliable food option at the brewery. Can't go wrong with great beer and delicious snack options. The onion rings are unbelievable and I can't wait to have more. The pizza was good. I had the beefy slice and a cheese slice. I loved the thin crust, but the slices are very light on toppings; especially, light on cheese and sauce. Normally, all slices are on a thicker focaccia, but luckily I got the thin crust today. The pizza didn't fully meet expectations, but I look forward to going back.

Yelp
Current fave pizza in Memphis!!! Love the Thud Butt and Whistle Stop; can't wait to come back and try more. The crust is super thin and crispy; toppings and cheese are perfectly flavored. The Whistle Stop pie is vegetarian, but packs so much flavor. The Shishito Peppers app is a very generous portion, and the kimchi flavor adds a nice kick. Soft serve is basically a bowl of creamy ice cream (not a small cup!!!). The service is SUPER fast, so come hungry and ready to EAT!

Yelp
We came here for the craft beer at the brewery and found the best pizza. This is thin crusted new haven style. They don't do half and half but pizza is still delicious. They are only open at 4:00 during week and earlier on weekends. Stop in for a craft beer and a good pie.

Yelp
I was really anxious to try this spot and ordered the pretzels, a salad and the Table 55 pizza to go. The pretzels and salad were decent but the pizza was a huge let down. The hostess was precious who brought my things to my car when they were ready.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to this place - what a let down. We started with Pickled Plate as I adore pickles and will order them everywhere. Disgusting. The pickled carrots and cucumbers were all I could try before being completely turned off. Spit both out. The Something Green, Something Healthy salad would probably be good if the lettuce wasn't moldy and old. Though they did try to hide it by completely dousing it in sour, white, inaccurately described, "green goddess" dressing. The only reason this place is not 1 Star is for the Beefy Bettie pizza. Though it was missing the shaved garlic & calabrian chilies, it was pretty good. I mean, I'll never crave it but I would eat it again if I was ever starving at Wiseacre. Also, did I mention the dirty silverware and plates? :-)

Yelp
The Whistle Stop was the pizza I've ever had! Definitely "different" from traditional pizza, but so delicious! Great selection of beer; friendly staff; numerous indoor and outdoor seating options. Other reviewers had raved about the soft serve ice cream, but they were all out, so I didn't get to try that.

Yelp
Soooo good! Unique atmosphere with great Pizza. We had the Thud Butt pizza and another with pork on it...can't remember the name. Both were good but the Thud was amazing! Can't wait to go back! Such a fun night!

Yelp
Having moved to Memphis from New Haven, CT nearly six years ago, we were resigned to the fact that pizza just wasn't going to be close to comparable. With the opening of Little Bettie this summer, however, and the impending re-opening of Hog and Hominy, there's a pizza resurgence here. I haven't had something so reminiscent of Sally's or Pepe's in the last six years, and Little Bettie shines on her own as a pizza stand out. We welcome you!

Josh W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious pizza. Crust was delicious and reminded me very much of what you might get at other pizza restaurants within the A&M network. Portion size was a huge + with 1 pizza feeding my wife and I. Will be back.
