Google
Their fries are possibly one of the best fast food fries. The service is always friendly and very enthusiastic. I am excited for their new veggie pattie that is NOT Beyond Burger. (Beyond Burger is trash)

Beatrix Heller

Google
the food is great. legendary fry sauce. the tables are dirty sometimes, and the corner where the tables are lacks atmosphere. but overall it’s a great place and i recommend <3

Google
Can I start off by saying I love little big burger and have been coming here for years with my family. Today the environment was less than ideal. It was dirty. Filthy. Food and spills on the floor, chairs and tables. Had to sweep off seats before use. The girls running the place were on their phones most of the time. we were one of two groups in the place. I hate to see the environment so run down. The bar style seating area used to have plenty of chairs and napkins and sauces. It felt empty and sad. You have our love and support but would love to see it a bit cleaner.

Google
Best burger we had in the week we spent in Portland! Alberta ave location. Friendly staff, lots of what I say kids, but probably young adults working. Friendly, but a little awkward. Burger was 10/10. I also think it was the owner who came in while i was waiting, it was so awesome to see him taking such care and getting in there with his employees removing graffiti from the windows and checking QR codes validity on posters. Really seemed like the guy cared.

Google
The burgers are small, super greasy and not very flavorful. Well if you think grease is the flavor, then they're very "flavorful". I ate here like 4-5 times when I lived a block away. The store is disgusting, the cashiers cook and make change with the same gloves. The food takes forever. There's usually 3 or 4 homeless people covered in dirt and sitting there with garbage filled hand carts starting at the wall or talking to themselves. Otherwise when it's busy it's mostly local school kids screaming and taking over the entire store. Never wanted to eat in either before what I just described. It's so smelly in there... like burnt oil and unclean griddles. The prices are crazy, the fries are fake truffle covered and soggy as hell even when ate immediately and burning hot. Would not recommend unless you've been living in PDX for years and your standard for food has gone so downhill you think this is "quality". You guys out there can't even get FAST FOOD right...

Google
Got in on the Burger Bundle deal for National Burger Day last night and the crew at the Alberta location was ON POINT! It took awhile for me to place my order in online (needed to log in) but once I navigated through that, it was smooth sailing. Hung out and conversed with the folks working on my order and it was as if we've known each other forever. Good conversation. The restaurant was fairly clean and it didn't take long for my order. Hot, fresh, & enough truffle fries to soothe my soul. Thank you Little Big Burger (Alberta) my Wednesday night was fulfilled.

Google
Wow. I am just in disbelief the service at this joint was unmatched. I will be returning for sure and telling all my friends about it. The workers were just the kindest and most nonchalant people I have met. You could see how they put all of their love into these little big burgers as if they were dropped from heaven. LBB for life. Thank you to the little big boys behind the counter. Give them a raise they deserve it all.

Etta Lindekugel

Google
Silly little big boys in a silly little big store with silly little big burgers. Give them a raise. Those little big boys deserve it. The burgers were small yet big. However the fries were just as expected. Bathroom experience was good. Good air flow. Slay kings. keep on keeping on.

John G.

Yelp
We like LBB. Don't come very often, but our grandchildren love it! So we come with them!
google avatar

Ariel D.

Yelp
I want to love LBB! I love the food, the staff, the menu. BUT WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A GLUTEN FREE BUN?! My dining experience is always frustrating and it's confusing that you use a floppy red leaf lettuce instead of iceberg or romaine or something that holds up. Please let me know when you add a gf bun for your adoring Celiac customers.

Mike C.

Yelp
Used to be one of my favorite little spots for burgers and fries. Took my kids 3x recently and the service was terrible and the food was over cooked and burnt. I asked them to recook my food and the kids behind the counter had attitudes about burning the food I paid for. Hopefully they can get it right.
google avatar

Yelp
There is not a way to message you and you did not pick up the phone when I called. My burgers were not "medium" they were also not "well done" - they were burned. I wanted to communicate with you to resolve this - but you were unreachable. I strongly suggest patrons check their burgers prior to traveling home to "enjoy" The fries were edible and awesome. Burger was not and not.

Yelp
We'd had one bad experience at this location, with a fantastically flubbed up Doordash order that had us scratching our heads as to how it happened. However, the manager stepped up to the pkate and made things right, giving us some vouchers for a few free burgers, and all was well again. Every visit since then has been seamless and without issue. LBB can get a bit bogged down by the colossal influx of DoorDash, GrubHub and online pick-up orders, and yet they still manage to churn out a pair of tasty burgers, and a bag of fresh, warm, delicious fries, in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely a great lunch spot on Alberta, particularly if you're in a hurry, or smart enough to plan ahead.

Yelp
Family favorite- every Friday night! Truffle fries and blue cheese bacon burgers. Highly recommend
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Lets just skip to the point. This "burger" is a 3 bite slider. The grilled onions didn't make the plate. The bacon was powder burnt. The blue cheese was flavorless, I should have known better. Save yourself the empty belly. The experience was lack luster to say the least.....
google avatar

Devon S.

Yelp
I placed an order online. I told me it's was going to be about 15 minutes until my order was ready. I arrived 20 minutes later and my order wasn't ready, go biggie. I sat down and waited. Well waited another came in to pick up an order. The employee grabs the order and slammed it down on the counter. Very rudely and unprofessional. Then finally my order was ready. The food is okay. Make sure to sure well done or your burger will be pink and I didn't know that. Was a little grossed out. And I think the prices are more when you order online versus in store.
google avatar

Jamie N.

Yelp
Their cheese burgers are yummy. The French fries are my favorite. We love going there.

Yelp
Burgers were smaller than I expected, but still filling and very very tasty. Interesting wall art in bathroom

Susan W.

Yelp
Always consistently great good and service. Lbb on Alberta is a great thing for the neighborhood !

Josh F.

Yelp
Always good service, and if you order ahead it's ready on time or early. The Alberta location specifically

juno s.

Yelp
Burger buns was fucking burnt and the bacon plus the employees gave a huge attitude and wanted to argue and say "that's how we make them" u don't fucking burn buns unless your stupid

Isaac M.

Yelp
Great place with great burgers. Always hits the spot and the truffle fries are perfection. I'd recommend getting 2 sliders if your used to downing a normal size burger.

Sarahsuezanna C.

Yelp
Y'all no, this is too tiny should not be able to legally calls this a burger shit is a slider for 7$
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
My fries were made to order and came out perfect- super hot and just the right amount of truffle salt! Super friendly staff.

Isabel M.

Yelp
Great burgers and fries and their sauces are phenomenal. Highly suggested as a go to burger place. Their service is always good and fast!

Mary D.

Yelp
Never had I gotten a burger from little big burger from all the locations I've eaten at have ever been over cooked until today. Fries were also over cooked. Even when I've order it from Uber Eats it was still perfect. Really bummed. Hope Albert location will do better.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Service is everything and Alberta LBB is top notch and the food tastes a little better with good service! To the Staff: Thanks for giving it all your best!
google avatar

Seanie G.

Yelp
This place was giving out a free burger, so I mean you can't go wrong with that! It was a nice thick patty but for the price I don't know if I would say it is worth it. One thing I loved is that you can choose goat cheese as a cheese which isn't common but I loved that!
google avatar

Lori H.

Yelp
First time at this location! Only been to the one down on the waterfront and the burgers were always yummy! Menu is very small...cheeseburger, hamburger, veggie burger, truffle fries, soda, beer, rootbeer float. You can add bacon or extra cheese for $.50. They also have a lettuce wrap option. I've had the burgers and truffle fries and they're very satisfying. The truffle fry portion is big enough to share. Highly recommend you try this place! Added bonus...there's a Salt & Straw right across the street!
google avatar

Angelica A.

Yelp
Not amazing, yet not bad by any means! The line was crazy on a Friday at 4. The service wasn't great at all but it's a fast food joint! I ordered the little burger and fries to share with friends. The burger comes on a toasted bun, with red onion and some condiments and garnish. For the price, it's a steal! Could of had some more flavor - but all in all - for $7 you are FULL!
google avatar

Terry P.

Yelp
Fantastic food and great service. Fries are the best. Love these gals and guys. Always friendly.
google avatar

Steph D.

Yelp
Fun burger place with a great atmosphere! All the workers are friendly and dance to the music playing in the restaurant. Burgers are made fresh when ordered so there is a little bit of a wait time. Truffle fries have a lot of flavor but some are too oily!! The fries come with two sauces - bbq/ketchup sauce and the fry sauce.
google avatar

Bryce B.

Yelp
Got the chicken burger and fries and honestly was amazed. The patty was super juicy and wasn't over cooked plus it packed A LOT of flavor! Then when you pair the fries cooked in truffle oil it was a perfect match. If you're going with another person you can 1000% just share the fried they give you more than enough. Also don't forget the fry sauce before you leave great addition to the fries.
google avatar

Shawn J.

Yelp
I love Little Big Burger. Perfect size burger and mountain of fries! Seriously can't be beat.
google avatar

Fonda W.

Yelp
Yes! They have a veggie patty . It's a small cafe type place with burgers cooked to order & the fries are freshly made as well, since it's a revolving door of customers. The patty was way bigger than the bun but hey, no complaints from me. Sometimes veggie patties are tasteless but not this one, well done. Their shoestring fries (easily shared by 2-3 people) were a great compliment to the burger. I'd come back if I had time. Finding parking at this location isn't ideal as you have to park in neighborhoods.
google avatar

Olivia L.

Yelp
Pre Pandemic my Darling Husband, of over 14 + years, and myself ate at this Little Big Burger. Go ahead and order the Truffle Fries. And there is also a Special Fry Sauce. Sometimes, we were the first people to order Soft Drinks when we were ordering our burgers. There wasn't a line when we went in the past. Usually we parked out Prius up around the NE 27th and Alberta Street intersection and we walked. Sometimes, we parked near the Collage store (that's a Craft Store at NE 15th and Alberta Streets). We didn't order any Beers, or Floats with our orders,... but I was told that both of those are good at this location. I recommend taking your Sweetheart here for any Special Occasion that you are planning. Also, this location is a good spot for most couples "Date Night." There are a few TriMet buses ( # 8 bus, and the # 72 bus) that stop near the front door of this Little Big Burger. The hamburger buns are small... but the burgers are a fourth of a pound (that's the regular size for a hamburger). I recommend the Swiss Cheese. Look for the bottles of Catsup (it's similar to Ketchup)... near the Register and front counter where you order. Vegetarians are welcome, usually at this Little Big Burger location as well. Remember that every burger is made to order... and sometimes, there will be a Line out the door and down the block. Little Big Burger burgers are worth the wait. #TruffleFries

Yelp
Restroom review: Little Big Burger on Alberta St has one, single-use, all-gender restroom with a baby changing station. Unfortunately, the soap dispenser, paper towel dispenser, and changing station have been victims to vandalizing. It would have tied the whole restaurant together if the restaurant decor continued into the restroom (a red, white, blue theme). It would also be ideal if it was a bit brighter in there. However, the restroom was clean and had all the necessities. Other review: The truffle fries were delicious! An instant favorite. They were hot and fresh. Adding to that Camden's Catsup and Fry Sauce (another instant favorite) made the fry experience even better! Cheeseburger with chèvre was very tasty. Nice buns too.

Yelp
Another cool establishment on Alberta Street! The "Little Big" comes from the size and the weight. The burgers are quarter-pounders, but they're served on smallish buns. This gives you a thick patty in small form factor. The flavor is quite nice, and the toppings are fresh. The fries are far better than one would expect. Normally, "truffle oil" should be a signal to send you running (as truffle oil contains no actual truffle; it is just perfumed with a synthetic version of a compound found in truffles), but it somehow works here. They actually put the fries in a bowl and squirt them truffle oil, add salt, and toss to coat. They also serve "Camden's Catsup", which is a Portland-based brand with a bit of heat. Top it all off with the most generously ice-creamed root beer float (Tillamook ice cream, to boot), and you have a really enjoyable meal. The super friendly staff is a really nice touch, too.

Yelp
Beat Little Big Burger in PDX!!! They always get my order correct and the sauce is perfect.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Decent burger! It's small but filling and the truffle fries are good. I prefer fries that are thin and crispy and this place delivers! Good place for a reasonably sized meal
google avatar

Yelp
Little Big Burger is a perfectly named restaurant. When i received my burger and unwrapped it my first thought was that i am going to need to order another to satiate my belly but after consuming this perfectly put together burger there was no need. That 1/4 lb burger filled me up. The perfectly griddled beef was medium and juicy and wonderfully seasoned. The brioche bun was just the right amount of bread and the Tillamook Cheddar brought a nice bite. The beef , per the signs in the restaurant, is from Cascade Natural Beef. The burger had thick cut pickle and red onion and came with a ketchup that brought some spice. The burger was a knockout. Why 4 stars you ask? The fries. These were a miss on my visit. The truffle fries were too heavily coated in the white truffle oil and were over salted. That being said i figured out a solution. On my next visit i will pass on the fries and just get burger.
google avatar

Sebastian K.

Yelp
The food here is above average, definitely better than your typical fast food burger. The burgers are a bit on the small side, but they customize them to your liking and you get a choice of what cheese you want on your burger. I am a big fan of bleu cheese, and they had it on hand for my burger. Another big plus is that they serve beer and it's cheap. Not as cheap as drinking at home, but they only serve cans to reduce costs. Their fries are also delicious, and they are sprinkled with truffle oil. They're a bit too salty for my liking, but they go along great with the fry sauce they give you (If I remember correctly, it's ketchup mixed with mayonnaise. Prices are also reasonable and you can get a burger, fries and a beer for under ten dollars. It's also conveniently located in the Alberta Arts District though there are a few other locations throughout the Portland Metro area.

Yelp
It stays true to its name. First time there, atmosphere was nice. I wish there was a meal option instead of all items a la cart. The burgers were good but small hence the name "little" big burger. It was a good snack for us at the time. If I'm the area again I will visit!!
google avatar

Kenny L.

Yelp
This place is pretty clean and inviting. The menu is nice and basic, so you don't have to overthink anything. I got the cheese burger and truffle fries. The burger was super delicious and I wished I had ordered another one. You can customize which cheese you want on it. The ingredients tasted fresh and the meat was nice and juicy. The fries were okay, they threw a ton in the bag, but the truffle was too overpowering. Usually with fries, you kinda can just keep munching on them, but with these fries I didn't have the same feeling. If I visited again, I would just go with two cheeseburgers. As with many places in Portland, little big burger also offers a veggie burger for those who choose to not eat meat or looking for something different.
google avatar

Kristina R.

Yelp
I love this place whether I'm eating in or take out. I always get a lettuce wrap burger and the truffle fries are always hot and fresh. The ketchup and fry sauce are both amazing. They always get my order right.

Quincy S.

Yelp
There was a worker here with a blue cowboy hat that was really nice and polite and provided quick service. Additionally, the color theory of this restaurant makes me really hungry and the food slapped, best fries ever. Not to mention the the superb music choice had me poppin and lockin all night.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Very true to its name - slider sized burgers, but the 1/4lb beef patty, cheese, and veggies really make even a single burger very filling! Cheese burgers are $4.25, super affordable! I ordered a cheese burger with goat cheese, it was miraculous to say the least! Boyfren opted for one as well, but he smartly added bacon for extra. We enjoyed both burgers by applying more of Camden's Catsup sauce. Bottles of this and the Fries sauce by the same Oregon based business are kept on the tables. Having mentioned the fries sauce, it would also be wise to get the Truffle Fries ($2.75) too. These are truffle oiled up and are glorious with the sauce. My only gripe was that the fries were more salty than truffle-y, but the sauce helped greatly in that respect. Super cheap and fast meal that was greatly appreciated before going to Great Notion nearby!
google avatar

Jen I.

Yelp
I really like little big burger but we had a couple of issues with this particular location. I thought about mentioning these things to the manager but I think the one who seemed like the manager was a part of the problem. 1) it took over 30 minutes for us to get our food, while we watched multiple customers who ordered food after us get food before us. 2) there were some food sanitation violations that were very clear (I used to work in public health). One employee was on her cell phone while preparing food (seemed like the one in charge). Multiple employees were wearing jewelry, specifically wrist jewelry. One employee ran the register, then went back to handling food without washing his hands numerous times. Rethink before you decide to visit this location.

Yelp
I can't get enough of Little Big Burger! The Alberta location is my go-to location and they never disappoint. The staff is always very friendly, and the food is always hot and fresh. Nothing beats their truffle oil fries and I really like their Beyond Burger. I highly recommend!
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
Marie, business owner, it's opening and all tables are dirty .... and I was just served a bloody uncooked burger
google avatar

Jessica F.

Yelp
I'm not sure what changed? I recall LBB burgers melting in my mouth back when I used to frequent a Eugene location a few years ago. Unfortunately the burger I had tonight was dry and burnt tasting even "medium rare" (barely any pink). I didnt want to ask them to remake it a second time, because they forgot my cheese and cooked it to a crisp the first time around. I also got it "doubled down" cause I was really craving the beef but was double-y disappointed.
google avatar

Malinda F.

Yelp
We order the cheeseburgers and truffle fries all the time, never been disappointed, always fresh and cooked perfectly. The truffle fries are so good, just be sure to eat them while they are hot.

Deanne G.

Yelp
Their burgers and truffle fries are amazing. Plus place your order online and schedule your own pickup time. A favorite fast and convenient Place to order food when you're hungry and want it soon!
google avatar

Conner F.

Yelp
This place was really good. The grass fed beef was tasty on the buns were soft with a nice crisp edge. The burger was littler than I expected but still very filling hence the name "little big burger". The fries were really good as well, perfectly cooked and the portion was huge for the $3 price tag. My only complaint would be the veggies on the burger. They lacked that crisp crunch you get when they are fresh. Other than that A+ burger! The staff was super kind as well even though they were slammed on a 4th of July afternoon. Definitely worth a try and don't be fooled by the size, one burger is enough and the quality justifies the price point!
google avatar

Mara A.

Yelp
I've always had great food and great service whenever I'm here and tonight was no exception. Fries, burgers, fry sauce, and fun staff...what's not to love? My only complaint is the horrible heat in the restaurant tonight. I understand that putting in air conditioning is probably expensive in the building, but it is desperately needed if only to give the employees some relief. The staff was great tonight, even with the heat. They smiled, laughed, and seemed to be making the best of a not-so-pleasant work environment. I can't imagine cooking over a flat top for even an hour given how hot it was in there tonight. I will continue to come back to Little Big Burger, but never again on a hot day...
google avatar

Stacey S.

Yelp
If you're trying to eat cheap, this place is great. You can easily get a cute little slider-sized burger and truffle fries for $10. The burger is tasty, seems to be of quality, but blink and you may just devour it whole. The truffle fries are loaded with salt which can get overwhelming towards the end. If you're sensitive, skip them entirely. Ambiance wise, it's loud. But it's a diner type setting, so it fits.
google avatar

Victoria T.

Yelp
I've been to all the little big burgers in Portland .... but this one needs to focus on their management skills......All the other little big burgers accepted my Id except this one? They went to go look at it in the back for 30 mins and asked if I had another Id to verify?? Uh that is my ID?? What am I supposed to do bring my social security card and birth certificate to get a beer with a burger?? Ridiculous and embarrassing. I loved little big burger but now will not come back. Also I ordered a hamburger and they asked if I wanted cheese? Hello, I asked for a hamburger not a cheeseburger. Burger rant over.

Katelyn C.

Yelp
Love this place!!! We did the rewards program and even got a free burger each..the only thing we bought were fries for 3$ which fed 3 of us with extra leftover. I will be back !
