Little Billy's

Little Billy’s Breakfast was a great experience overall. The service truly went above and beyond — everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The pancakes were delicious, and the rest of the breakfast was solid and satisfying. The only downside was that there was no barista when we arrived, so we weren’t able to get coffee. That said, everything else was very positive, and we’d happily come back again.

I came in from out of town and I have celiac, so finding gluten free food, especially pancakes, can be difficult. I enjoyed a late breakfast with GF pancakes, scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. To be honest I'm not a fan of chicken anything for breakfast so I didn't even try them. The pancakes however were very good. The dining area is small and tight. Not a whole lot of room. However the help was very knowledgeable about the food and very friendly. I would definitely visit again.

If you’re short on time or prefer to avoid the wait, Little Billy’s makes for excellent takeout, and the food travels well. Whether you’re a longtime local or just passing through, Little Billy’s delivers incredible meals and a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere. With a little planning, it’s an easy choice for anyone seeking delicious, no-frills dining.

Little Billy had been on my list for a while and we finally tried it in December and I loved it!!! I got the morning egg sandwich and really liked it. My partner got the Billy breakfast burrito and he thought it was okay, he said he preferred my sandwich. What stole the show for me was the cinnamon billy cakes, I loved them! The cinnamon and the oat made them delicious. I will say that we ordered a single pancake but we got 3 and got charged 3 when we explicitly asked for 1. Overall I would come back. The service was good. The hot pot coffee was good. I will say that the place itself is tiny with not so much seating. We got lucky as we were only 2 people but for large parties it might be harder.

Little Billy’s is hands down my favorite spot in Newport. You have to order the chicken Caesar wrap for lunch or the buttermilk pancakes for breakfast. Both are unreal. The ambiance is bright, fun, and welcoming. Billy and the staff treat everyone like family the second you walk through the door. Little Billy’s has been the best addition to Newport Beach

I brought my kids (ages 14 & 13) for Sunday brunch specifically for the gluten-free pancakes. After a short wait in line we ordered at the counter. The servers were super friendly and welcoming. We ordered the 2+2+2 with scrambled eggs and cinnamon pancakes, my son said they were solid (good). My daughter ordered the 2+2+2 with eggs over medium and gf buttermilk pancakes - the best gluten free pancakes she’s ever had. I had a single gf cinnamon pancake and drip coffee. I thought the gf cinnamon pancake was super good - and I was relieved that my very particular kid really liked the gf buttermilk pancakes. She said next time she’d get a stack of them.

Well, first time here. Got the Billy Breakfast Burrito for $17 and the Double smash burger for $15. I would say this place is extremely pricey for what you get. 1/3 of the burrito was folded and empty tortilla. It did have a good smoky taste, but there is a lot of dead space on the burrito that is just tortilla. The double smash burger was a joke. It was smaller than a Mc Donald’s double cheeseburger. I know smash burger are supposed to have crispy edges particularly the cheese, but this burger was burnt. This should be on the kids menu. The value for the money spent on it was definitely not worth it.

Visiting from Toronto, Canada and we stopped here on our way to Laguna Beach. What a great place! Good, healthy food, the chicken sausage was great and Yancy let us try the cinnamon billy cake, which was so good! Yancy made the experience really nice!

Both sooo delicious. Wrap was super flavorful and oat pancakes were light yet filling. Service was awesome. Small place but there was readily available seating on a Friday morning. Will be back!

Wow wow!! Definitely coming back!! Food - I love love loved the blueberry rolled oats pancakes.. Never had anything like it. Lox Toast was simply perfect. Service - 10/10 Ambiance- tiny and cozy. My concern is this place is definitely going to become popular and busy with limited space.

By far my favorite breakfast spot of all time!! To begin with the staff was incredible everyone was so nice so sweet and thoughtful. You walk in and you feel the good energy and vibes. The food was amazing, the beverages etc They're also known for their pancakes! It was mine and my fiancés first time here, definitely coming back and letting everyone to come here

TL;DR - new fav brunch spot! great food & service + cute interior FOOD: *breakfast burrito - solid! a standard breakfast burrito. filling and had good flavors. 4/5 *chicken fried rice bowl - a highlight for the savory foods we had! i was honestly surprised by how flavorful this was. when i come back here, this is the one i'll get again. 5/5 *morning egg sandwich - solid! a standard egg sandwich. 4/5 *rolled oat pancake - we got one of these on the house by the owner! it was delicious and different than any other pancake than i've had. slightly crunchy and the butter on top was so yummy. 5/5 SERVICE: the owner was constantly checking in on us and made sure our time there was a good one. he also gave us stuff on the house which was so nice! service was top-notch for sure. 5/5 WAIT: there was no wait to be seated and it took about 10ish mins for our food to come out. no complaints! 5/5 PRICE: slightly higher priced brunch food than i'm used to but i think the vibes and quality of food make it worth it. 4.5/5

What a breath of fresh air to find Little Billy's. Such a cute spot, with good vibes and music, and most of all grea food. We had breakfast there today and everything was scrumptious and spot on. We had the oatmeal pancakes and buttermilk, both were excellent. The Benedict was tasty with a buttery hollandaise. And the breakfast sandwich with sausage was yummy. The staff and Bill the owner couldn't be more helpful and caring, all done with a smile and genuine feeling of thoughtfulness. What more could you want. Can't wait to go back for lunch.

OH.MY.GOSH. I just found my favorite breakfast place in Newport. This place is so so cute and everyone who workers there is so sweet!! I love the vibe I jsut wish that the place was a little bigger cuz it does get loud and it's kinda hard to move around! The cinnamon oat pancakes are actually to die for. This was the star of the show. I can't belive they can make oats taste this good. The cinnamon butter was amazing and it doesn't even need syrup!!!! The breakfast burrito was really yummy as well. But the cinnamon pancakes are a must try. Overall I'm super impressed by this place and I'm excited that I have a new favorite breakfast spot nearby. Highly highly recommend!!

I'm so happy this new breakfast cafe opened in Newport! It's exactly what I was hoping for, we needed something fresh in this area. I love how small it is, feels like it was made for the locals. All the other places near or on the peninsula are old and the menus need a revamp! Even tho the place fills up the table turnover is quick. The owner is there talking to everyone. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and new. Like the oat pancakes. I love the cinnamon ones! Loved the protein egg white omelette. The menu has everything you would want for a breakfast/lunch spot. The music is good. The decor and decoration are really nice and the place is super clean! My only hope is you guys find space to add a full coffee/latte/matcha menu since it is a breakfast spot. They do serve coffee but I can only drink it with those little french vanilla or hazelnut coffee creamers. Otherwise I'm a matcha gal! But it's not a deal breaker! I love this place will be a regular now with my kids.

It was my first time here, and service was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so sweet, and Billy is truly dedicated to his craft and cares about the details. Food was spectacular and so delicious, and the overall ambiance is very cozy and quaint, will definitely be coming back!

We stumbled upon Little Billy's while shopping and noticed a cute little spot for brunch . Service was so spot on , Billy the owner was so well mannered and kind and the food was delish ! The place was super clean and we will be there again and again .

I happen to be in Newport Beach this morning and stumbled on to this small place that looked very inviting. The breakfast here does not disappoint. I love me a breakfast sandwich so I had to try the morning egg sandwich and it was sooo good. I also got a power scramble for some extra protein and it was so flavorful. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the ingredients and preparation of everything here. Another hit for me was their amazing coffee. And of course, I had to save the best for last. I've had my share of pancakes from almost every breakfast place between Newport to La, and this place is the best. The buttermilk pancakes are perfect from flavor to texture. And the Billy cakes are on another level. Soft in the middle with a little crunchy edge and had the perfect amount of seeetness. I'll definitely be making the drive out here just for those

went for brunch on a Sunday and it was packed! we didn't have to wait long and the employees were so helpful! we were given a sample of their famous rolled oats blueberry pancake which was delicious! will definitely be coming back and can't wait to try lunch menu !

Okay new favorite breakfast place!! Service: 5/5 the owner/manager guy who seemed to be in change was so Friendly snd helpful and was running around Making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed which we really appreciated. Felt like a small business that really cared about its customers Food: 100/5 we enjoyed the food so much here. The oat cinnamon pancakes were some of the best pancakes I have had and the perfect amount of sweetness. We also loved the market scramble and the halloumi toast. The coffee was yummy too and they have free oat and almond creamer. Atmosphere: 4/5 very cute a cozy spot but super small and hard to walk through any tables! Definitely would be hard if they were busy as it is such a small space Would 100% come back to try more dishes!

Came here on Sunday with the family after seeing them on IG. We were happy we made the choice! Came in and found a small place that initially was packed but cleared out just in time for us (we were told we came after the lunch rush). One guy (who we assumed was the owner) made sure we had a clean table immediately since we had a sleeping kid. He told us the best/most popular items which included the fried rice and breakfast sandwich. Besides those we ordered the chicken bowl, breakfast burrito and kids pancake. He ended up later coming up to us and giving us one of his Billy cakes. THEY WERE A-FRIGGIN-MAZING. We loved all our food and actually ended up ordering a stack of Billy cakes "as dessert" (even though we were stuffed lol). I could literally put that cinnamon butter on everything. My wife and I already said we would come back soon

I've gone here twice now and can confidently say the food is delicious. The ingredients taste fresh and high quality - I love me some bright egg yolks!! Love that there are healthier options, too. The pancakes are simply the best I've had in a LONG time. Crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside. I've tried the blueberry (compliments of Billy on my first visit) and the chocolate chip. Both are phenomenal! My boyfriend who doesn't even like pancakes was raving about our chocolate chip pancake. I'm really excited about having a cozy, easy breakfast spot near by. On top of everything else, the staff couldn't be nicer. I love this place!!

def been wanting to try little billy's for so long and it has been sitting in my saved list. finally got to try it this weekend and it exceeded my expectations. (not sponsored) interior was super cute, small shop that has their merch hanging on the wall loved it! customer service was phenomenal, staff were friendly and nice. although it was a small cafe spot they treated their customers as if it was a restaurant and catered to our needs! we got the chocolate chip billy's oat pancakes, avocado toast, and their billys breakfast burrito. tbh their avocado toast is a pass for me, not sure what it was but it had an interesting flavor i'm not a fan of (it might be the type of oil drizzle). HOWEVER, their breakfast burrito was so good!! i loveddd the sauce it came with, also had a side of tomato salsa and it paired nicely with the burrito. good egg to bacon to avocado ratio ! i wished the eggs had a little bit more seasoning, but maybe it's made like that because it's paired with a sauce and they don't want the flavors to clash or overpower it not sure. nonetheless yummy! NOW never had pancakes like these but they were crispy but soft and moist yet fluffy at the same time? i don't mean to exaggerate but these were actually so good. the worker did tell us billy's pancakes come sweetened and we might not need maple syrup and offered it to us anyways and she was right. it comes perfectly sweetened, the butter on top gave it a savory salty profile and i usually get sick of pancakes easily but i didn't with these. super addictive :) WILL come back i loved it

I wanted this place to be my spot, and to love it! Staff was friendly and inviting, even Billy was nice and going around to everyone's table and checking in. Well, everyone's table but ours. He came over once, but every table was constantly getting attention from him, and being offered something to try while they were waiting. Someone got a free cookie, someone got a free iced coffee, etc. I noticed it and on the way home, my son brought it up, without me even mentioning it to him. It's okay, we're not expecting anything from anyone, but it was definitely noticeable. The rolled oat pancakes were great and piping hot, no need for syrup and my potatoes were seasoned really well! Cute little neighborhood diner and great cookies!

Definitely one of my new go to spots for breakfast! We love to get the breakfast burrito and an order of pancakes, the buttermilk blueberry is hands down the best I have ever had. Billy is so kind and attentive, he's always making sure every customer that walks in is well taken care of! The space is cozy and small, but they run it efficiently.

So I recently found out this spot opened. I was excited to try it. Quick service, great staff, friendly owner, and good yummy!! The rolled oat pancakes had me w the cinnamon butter soo good!! I got an egg scramble w chicken was delicious, clean tasting, not overly greasy. Everyone in there was friendly. It's not overrun by tourist easy like a Sunday morning vibes, ambiance is chill. Love it

Wow - we really enjoyed our breakfast here. Great food. We got the breakfast burritos which were delicious. We split a pancake w cinnamon butter for the table... such a treat and a must try!! I could eat Cinnamon butter everyday. Great staff. They went above and beyond in providing service and giving us an enjoyable experience. Can't wait to go back! Will be recommending this spot to all our friends.

The billycakes and original buttermilk pancakes are both really good. The breakfast burrito and BLTA were nice, but didn't stand out. Indoor decor is adorable. Service was a tad slow, but it was busy so I totally understand.

Went in and placed a to-go order for a Caesar salad and the chocolate chip rolled oat pancakes. The girl ringing us up couldn't answer what exactly a rolled oat pancake was, which was a little weird (Google says it's just an oatmeal pancake, but I wanted to know for allergy reasons), especially as this is apparently one of their "top selling items." -Caesar salad ($16): The Caesar came out pre-dressed instead of having the dressing on the side, which was irritating. Why would you dress someone's salad for them (they didn't ask us about our preferred dressing amount or anything)? The salad was fine, but $16 for just lettuce and an additional $7 for chicken (which we didn't pull the trigger on) is honestly quite egregious. Picture attached so you can decide if it looks like it's worth $16 or not. -Rolled oat pancakes ($16): They're a bit heartier than regular buttermilk pancakes. I enjoyed these, but $16 is still pretty steep for pancakes tbh. While I liked the pancakes, I'm disappointed by everything surrounding the salad - price, preparation, etc. I won't be back.

I went to Little Billy's for the first time and they did not let me down. I personally ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Pesto Sandwich for myself and thought it was amazing. The eggs were vibrant in color and the taste was rich and perfectly balanced. The Chicken Pesto Sandwich was just as incredible; flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. Service was top-notch, with Billy himself making sure every guest felt welcome and taken care of. Little Billy's did not disappoint. I will be back again!

Can't recommend this spot more! The most amazing service - so kind, attentive and lovely! The food was 10/10! We got breakfast burritos and the pancakes (cinnamon with the cinnamon butter) and we ate every bite! Can't wait to come back again! The inside is new, clean, updated and such a welcoming vibe! I hope this place is a success because they deserve it!

Awesome experience!!! We walked in with a warm welcome. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The cinnamon and blueberry oat pancakes were delicious as well as their breakfast potatoes and bacon. Billy, the owner does a phenomenal job making sure the whole place feels at home. I will be coming back with friends and family so everyone can experience how amazing everything was.

Absolutely LOVED this spot! It's one of those places you ask yourself "why haven't I been here sooner!" I couldn't choose between the classic pancakes and their famous rolled oat pancakes, so the staff brought out a rolled oat pancake for us to try! The bacon is SO GOOD, they have one butcher and ranch they work with and MAN, it's amazing. The most amazing staff and service from start to finish, we were reminded several times that anything we needed, we let them know. After we finished, we chatted with Billy (whom is the sweetest, kindest man I'd ever met) and he expressed so much gratitude for us visiting. The only thing they're missing is an espresso machine, to which Billy assured us that that's already in the works! We're so looking forward to coming back!

Little Billy's is such a wonderful gem; went here for a bachelorette brunch and it was the perfect spot. The food was delicious and the staff were the nicest people ever. Both types of pancakes were absolutely to die for, and the breakfast sandwich was so yolk-y and yummy. Has such a cute modern diner feel; cozy but not too cramped. Would highly recommend this spot for a family breakfast or catching up with friends

Came back for the 4th time today and everything was phenomenal once again. The pancakes are truly to die for and I loved their iced coffee. I have been wanting to try the rolled oat pancakes and they brought us one for free to try! It was delicious. The service is seriously the best here. Food comes fast and everyone is friendly and genuine. They really care if you are enjoying the food and the experience. It's def my family's new regular spot :)

As a self proclaimed breakfast burrito connoisseur, I assumed that if there was a restaurant in Oc that I hadn't heard about, it just meant the place wasn't going to be good but still figured I had to at least give it a shot and I am so happy I did. Starting off with the pancake with water magical butter they serve with it. A pancake has the best texture it's light fluffy but still crispy and I wish I could bathe in that brown sugar butter that they put on it because it's actually life-changing. The breakfast burrito was second to none. It's so satiating, has the best flavor, it doesn't rip And the outside is crispy. It has so much flavor with a kick but it's not overpowering. It's crazy to say but the food isn't even the best part of this place, the service is the best I've EVER experienced at a restaurant. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you're not just satisfied but overall had a great experience. In Orange County I feel like people do this a lot in a fake way but at this place you can tell they are all genuinely happy to be there and really do care about Whether you enjoyed your meal or not. Since I was introduced to this place 10 days ago I've been three times and will continue to come back for the rest of my life now. If I could give them 100 stars out of 5 I would.

Great food and really great people! We got the avocado toast and their breakfast burrito, and both were spot on in taste and quality. They also let us try their pancake on the house, and I'm still dreaming about it! It's light and fluffy with a little crisp served with a cinnamon butter; it's so good! Everyone should give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

Quaint place with a retro-diner vibe. Super fresh food prepared well and the service is excellent. Everyone working there is very friendly and eager to ensure every diner's satisfaction. And going for Little Billy's cinnamon Billy cakes alone are worth the trip, but everything is delicious.

Blown away by our experience here last month. The most friendly, warm & hospitable staff and *high quality* ingredients. You have to stop here for breakfast. 10/10 on eggs, bacon, potatoes and cold brew and exceptional customer experience from the staff.

Food had no business being as good as it was for what appears to be a small coffee shop. But I think, more importantly, the staff and owner were just beyond accommodating and incredibly nice. Already a great local hangout as they're clearly putting in the effort to make it as homey as possible. Can't say enough good things.

I'm a breakfast burrito enthusiast, and this was a delicious choice. The eggs were yummy and the bacon was cooked just right, I loved the sauce it came with, really brought it all together. The service was top tier, very nice people. And the place itself is so cute! Loved the old style rock-a-billy vibe. Even the music was great.

Fun little spot with indoor and sidewalk seating. Great standard breakfasts (we got the buttermilk pancake stack, avocado toast, and a side of scrambled eggs and bacon). You won't be blown away by the food, but the service is fast and friendly and you can't really beat the basics. Would come again (and again)! Note seating is first come first serve!

Wife and decided to check out. Wife tried the breakfast burrito and I had the blueberry Billycakes. Both were very flavorful and hot. The service was wonderful. The place has the feel of a community gathering spot. Locals will let you know what you try. We love places like this. Highly recommend.

We had breakfast at Little Billys this morning. It was SO delicious. We split a breakfast burrito and had some pancakes. Both were great. It is hard to find good pancakes and theirs were the best we have had. The service was top notch. Everyone friendly and helpful. It is a comfortable place with great energy from everyone there. So glad we tried it and it is now one of our favorite spots in Newport Beach.

We visited Little Billy's today for the first time and the overall experience was solid, however, there are a few small things that could be improved to make this place a solid contender for best brunch / casual lunch spot. I understand the difficulty in opening and operating a new business and I have nothing but high hopes for what can very well be an excellent little gem. We had the Billy Cakes which were great and a fun twist on your old school pancake. Cinnamon butter was excellent. The omelette was great as were the "tic tac" potatoes, although a very tiny portion so I would work on that as well. The smash burger was good but with some work it can be a superstar. First, the patties are way too small in proportion to the bun. It's not a massive bun, but there shouldn't be a 20% gap of bread-only before you get your burger. A traditional smash oozes meat outside the bun. This is the opposite. Get those patties to at least be equal of the bun diameter or let them ooze. Baked goods were lacking; case was empty at 11:30am and we would have loved to grab some cookies, pastries, etc. The staff are friendly, the location is great, this has the makings of future staple. Excited to try more in the future and I hope they can remedy the smash burger issue :) Look forward to getting this to a 4- even 5/5 stars upon our next visit. Ps - fries would be amazing. Let's get that going as well.

I had Billy's Breakfast Burrito and it was SO GOOD. Perfect size, and came with a delicious chipotle aioli. There's no espresso options but the iced coffee was very good. Coffee beans are Amigo Roasting from El Salvador . The service was attentive and the ambience very pleasant and peaceful!

Pancakes are amazing .... And I'm not even a pancake person !! Thin, crispy and cooked to perfection with that cinnamon butter !!! Great spot if you can get a table - very small venue and you order at the counter before sitting. Gets **very very** busy which is amazing for the business owner but can be rough for patrons. Worth the effort for breakfast or lunch if you can get in.
