Welcoming atmosphere and staff, unique and cozy seating, delicious and smooth iced Americano as well as tasty/flaky chocolate croissants! They had all sorts of fresh baked treats and nice merch to choose from as well!

Google
Lovely coffee shop. Enjoyed drinks, ham and cheese croissant, spinach quiche, and some pastries. All was delicious. The service was friendly and very helpful. One concern is the seats & table we had were sticky. I'm not sure if that was due to the finish breaking down from weather conditions or other? Either way, we enjoyed our time & will be back.

Google
Super cute place with the most charming atmosphere both inside and outside. The aesthetics are spot on I wish I could same the same about the rest of the place. Came in for a morning coffee and croissant and waited in line for a while (about 15 mins) to order and then it took another 10 minutes to get our coffee. I was surprised with how slowly the line was moving and it was really crowded and claustrophobic around the counter. My iced matcha latte was fine, but my friend ordered a caramel latte which was lukewarm at best when they finally got it to us. Both the croissant and the chocolate croissant were middle of the road. This place is ideal if you don’t have any plans and just want to hang out for a while and have some fine coffee in a cute place, but there are other cafes in town with better coffee and snacks.

Google
Lovely atmosphere, super kind people, and fabulous food. Met a friend for coffee and a pastry this morning, and it was such a treat. Not sure when they moved into the old Canino's location, but it's really perfect, and there are lots of nice places to sit and enjoy a relaxing visit. The food coming out of the kitchen looked great - need to return to try their savory options - but i couldn't resist the almond croissant, which was probably the best I've ever had anywhere!

Bernard Jeremy

Google
Excellent cafe with a plethora of good options. The mushroom toast in particular was fantastic, and the environment was comfortable even while being quite crowded on a Sunday morning. If I lived in Fort Collins, this would probably be a regular go to spot!

Google
Love this quaint little coffee shop/ bakery. Such a great atmosphere. Their lattes are amazing. Just wished they had a few more tables to sit outside and enjoy the morning. The inside had tons of different places to sit. Definitely will be going back.

Google
This is one busy bakeshop! And although the line looks long, the service is really quick and efficient. There’s lots of tables inside on two floors, plus tables and chairs out front and a patio up top. You can even read about the history of the school old house on the plaque at the main entrance. The brioche cinnamon roll with orange cream frosting is delicious. Be sure to try the monkey bread, too! They make a mean peanut butter sandwich cookie. Looking forward to a return visit!

Google
Very cozy, home feel. The line is often long on weekends but moves fast and the place to stand does not interfere with the seat area. They also have a nice big outdoor area right on college. Their toasts and baked goods rival most other places in town. I like their mushroom toast the best.

Yelp
Cute bakery/coffee shop right off College. I stopped in to find some cinnamon rolls. When I first walked in, it's a very cozy shop with a home-like atmosphere. The line was pretty long, but moved fast. The cinnamon rolls were on the small side, but still quite tasty. I also opted for the spiced cherry croissant knot and that was absolutely amazing. Staff were all very friendly in their interactions. Hope to come back to sit down inside the shop to enjoy a bite and a cup of coffee/tea!

Yelp
Cool bakery and coffee shop in the middle of Fort Collins, close to Old Town. Excellent pastries, and good espresso, and great ambiance. Students and locals seem to love it. The main thing I find myself missing when I go there is the small glass of sparkling water to accompany an espresso that you'll often see at great coffee shops like Blue Bottle, etc. When I asked about it, the suggestion was to buy a plastic bottle of San Pellegrino. The fact that they're not wrapping their pastries in plastic wrap, something a lot of places in Colorado do, is a plus. The lack of the side of soda water is a minus. Taken together, these things suggest to me that Little Bird is good but is not fully aware of some of the really nice places out there (which is fine; they're still good).

Yelp
This is the first time I've been to the new location and it is adorable! Set in an old house (and formerly an old Italian restaurant as well), it's a little maze to explore. We walked in and headed to the back where the counter is to order. It was about an hour before they closed, so they were out of a few of the pastries and the quiche, but I settled on the caramelized onion toast that came with a very fresh kale salad. The servers handed me a buzzer and poured our drinks and we walked upstairs to the patio. After a few minutes the buzzer went off and I picked up my massive plate. The toast was exceptionally delicious and had an intense rich caramelized onion flavor, topped with white cheddar. After originally thinking the price was a little excessive, the serving size more than made up for the cost. A very cute house, friendly servers and a great little snack.

Yelp
Love the ambiance of this coffee shop/bakery. Didn't get a chance to try their food or baked goods but I did order a matcha latte with whole milk and I must say I was very disappointed on how weak it was. The color was too light and it tasted like it was all milk. When I asked them to put more matcha in it, they did very willingly, however ... it did not change the flavor or the color of the drink. Skip the matcha all together here and just enjoy the ambiance & the baked goods. Looks like a place where college students meet with their parents.

Geneva D.

Yelp
Everything was delicious as always. Line moved quickly. The only thing I'd change as a business owner was, the level of music was too quiet.... I felt like I was in a library my table felt like we had to be quiet so others could study... instead of just socializing at a 'bakeshop' ...

Steve W.

Yelp
Blah, blah, blah. Very good pastries and baked goods. Very good espresso drinks. Comfortable environment, transformed into community hangout from a private residence. Charming.

Brent B.

Yelp
Cozy house-like interior, friendly staff. Everything seems made from scratch. Pastries have more butter and sweeter than we like though, bread was ok. Shortbread cookies were the best.

Yelp
Spent a week in Fort Collins last month and had the occasion to visit a number of coffee shops and cafes. This was one of the best! First, the shop itself is in what appears to be a cozy older home. There are small tables set up in what was probably a dining room and living room- I chose a seat on the enclosed porch. You walk through to the back to order and then find yourself a place to sit. It was move in week at CSU so that might explain it, but there was plenty of available seating. I had mushroom toast (like avocado toast except with sauted mushrooms instead of avocado)- why have I never come to this concept on my own? It was outstanding. I also got a cinnamon roll and a scone to go. In a cute little to-go box, they traveled well and were tasty when we ate them later. They had a strong internet connection but are clear upfront that you only get access for an hour. That would have been a major bummer if I had been there to study, but since I had limited time it was not an issue during this visit. Most of the guests were in twos and threes, mostly younger crowd, but there were a few larger tables if you brought a gang. They also had tables out on the lawn,. Good to know that there is plentiful parking behind the building because the on-street parking is non-existent. Only went once on this trip (trying to share the love and try as many places as I could) but I will definitely be coming back to this one on my next trip to FoCo.

Yelp
Best cafe in Fort Collins in my opinion. Their pastries are perfection, and so are their foaming abilities when it comes to lattes. Everything is just as it should be. I love that they offer unsweet, amazing quality matcha. The location, in an old house, is stunning, the wood banister up the stairs, the stained glass windows. And the pricing is fair. I do prefer a more grungy ambiance, but they have local artists work on the walls which makes up for it. And the service is always, kind and, they're on it. Thank you Little Bird.

Allie G.

Yelp
We stopped by The Little Bird Bakeshop for breakfast and coffee and immediately fell in love with the concept. The bakery is a converted home, so the interior felt so cozy - like you're having breakfast in your own living room. They didn't have any specialty coffee drinks so I ordered a Lavender Cold Brew and my sister got the Lavender Lemonade. Both were tasty, but the cold brew wasn't the strongest. For food, we got the Cherry Chocolate Pistachio Pastry and Irish Cheddar & Balsamic Onion Toast to share. We loved the pastry, although we wished there was a little more filling compared to the dough. The Irish Cheddar & Balsamic Onion Toast was also tasty and very filling. We ended up eating on the rooftop patio, which had plenty of additional seating and a pleasant ambiance. Would totally return to try more items!

Catherine S.

Yelp
The bakery is located in a little old house close to campus. The pastries are delicious! They have great coffee and fun coffee drinks. Plenty of space to sit and visit with friends or set up to work for a bit. Very friendly staff and an overall great atmosphere. It's one of our favorite regular stops in Fort Collins.

Kylee H.

Yelp
Came here to process photos, hoping for a vibey cafe. It does just that! Has a college-ey Fort Collins look and feel with people in almost every table. I tried the caramel latte, they're known for their homemade sauces! It's good. Strong espresso which is a nice change up from the other chains we like to go too ‍ Wi-Fi is a bit slow -- but it works!

Yelp
My sister and I ended up at The Little Bird in Old Town since we were looking for a cute bakery to get some pastries and lattes. They were busy on a Sunday morning, and we were just able to grab one of the last few tables! Their pastry case looked fantastic, and they have even more breakfast options written up on their menu board. It was extremely difficult for us to pick our pastries, but we made some game time decisions! For coffee, we got their regular latte and their seasonal latte - a spiced caramel latte. I loved their spiced caramel flavor and it was the right amount of sweet. We tried their Coconut Scone, Manchego Cheese Biscuit, and Butter Croissant while we were there. My sister was excited to finally find a flaky croissant in the area! The scone and biscuit were a pretty similar texture to me which threw me a bit since I was expecting a softer scone, BUT they were nevertheless delicious. We brought home gluten-less Caramel Swirl Brownie and had it for dessert that night. It was so good, fudgy, and decadent!! Might've been my favorite pastry there.

Olivia Z.

Yelp
Super cute little bakery- so glad I gave it a try while I was in town! The brioche cinnamon roll was very sweet and decadent- would definitely get it again along with the scone. The matcha latte was very nice a frothy despite the substitute milk and they even got a beautiful design in -- that's hard to do with almond milk!! Had such a great experience, I might just try to come back and get their little packaged cookies as souvenirs. If you're traveling, I think this is definitely a place to stop into. They have plenty of places to sit as well. My order: Reuben toast Cherry coffee cake Cherry almond scone Brioche cinnamon roll Quiche of the day Almond matcha latte

Yelp
Absolutely love their new location!! Previously in the old home on College Ave. where Canino's was, Little Bird has a really cute, rustic location while retaining all the incredible food and drink from their Old Town spot. I've had several of their pastries such as the buckeye bar and almond croissant, and they have all been great. Baked perfectly and just the right amount of sweet. Their savory offerings are good too, as I learned from trying their salmon quiche. Both their coffee and non-coffee selections are extensive and excellent. If you are a non-coffee drinker, I highly recommend their "chai-der." A chai/apple cider concoction.

Kristi S.

Yelp
What a cute space in a great location! We stopped in on Easter Sunday for a drink and pastry and weren't disappointed. Everything laid out with clear writing and a great variety of choices without being too overwhelming. I recommend the monkey bread loaf - perfectly sweet without being overly sugary and great for sharing! Definitely will be back to soak up the vibes and caffeine!

Orion K.

Yelp
The Little Bakeshop is a fine establishment that has plentiful, cozy seating! The borstock is very good, and well worth it! The cappuccino is also very good, but tastes a touch "burnt." With that said, even despite the long line, I got my food very quickly and it did not disappoint

Bec C.

Yelp
Very cute, converted older house to bakery. Impressive variety of baked goods and bread. Their sliced sourdough is excellent. I've had their cannelé, peanut butter cookie, chocolate chip walnut cookie, cinnamon roll, buckwheat financier, gingerbread stout bread and am looking forward to trying more items. My favorites so far are the cinnamon roll which is extremely moist and has an orange cream cheese frosting and their buckwheat financier. I get their bread to-go too.

Leanna K.

Yelp
Food was 10/10! Quiche was FANTASTIC! It was huge very tall and soooo tasty! I tried both flavors of the day the green chili and the potato Gruyère. Both delicious, but the potato was divine! Favorite pastry was the blueberry francier. It's crispy on the outside and super moist inside and not overly sweet. Perfect! Their chocolate chip walnut cookie was so chunky and delicious I wish I had more! The caramel latte was perfectly balanced. There was plenty of seating at 9am on a Thursday, but got packed by 1030am. Even though it was packed, I was still able to listen on a zoom meeting no problem and wifi is reliable! Overall, will absolutely be back!

Christian K.

Yelp
Phenomenal food and service. As out-of-towners, we had no idea what to expect but we were really impressed. We will plan stops here every chance we get! Thanks

Rex S.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. In an old two-story house. Great coffee and pastries. The pastries are the main draw for me. They are unique, not the typical pastries you find around these parts. Yes, it might be a little more expensive than other places nearby, but you are getting original and homemade. And the "homemade" in this case equates to very good. There's a lot of seating so I've never had trouble finding a table when with a small group of friends, even when they are busy. The coffee orders can sometimes take a few to get filled, but you don't go here for a quick bite, it's for conversation and friends.

Naya P.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good cafe with fresh baked goodies. I've been meaning to try Little Bird for a long time and I'm so happy I finally did! Their chocolate croissant just melted in my mouth. And their chocolate chip walnuts cookies were divine. I have to come back to try a different coffee flavor, I was not a huge fan of the coffee BUT this doesn't change my mind on how delicious their bakery options are!

Steph D.

Yelp
I've never had a good croissant in the US, but I always search and always yearn. These croissants are incredible! If I'm ever in Fort Collins again I will go immediately to The Little Bird and buy at least 4. The financier was also spectacular--just the right amount of sweetness, crisp outside and tender crumb. Very lovely building and furnishings as well. I really can't say enough about this bakery (except the scone was not very good, but with croissants like that, nothing else really matters.) Ten stars!!!!!

Lissa K.

Yelp
Ambience was welcoming and appealing. Lots of local artists featured. Pleasant place to read The NY Times and sip a hot beverage.

Larissa S.

Yelp
My birthday cake was delicious - it was the sourdough vanilla with raspberry rhubarb compote and brown butter icing. I am very happy!

Mac L.

Yelp
Everything about the customer service at this place screams I make 20$ an hour and have an attitude. No you shouldn't be making that much money. They have buzzers that alert you when each individual item is ready, like how about my beverage and food are ready at the same. I'm not trying to walk through your early 20th century mansion to get each individual item I order. Most pathetic looking lox and cream cheese combo I've ever had (90% cream cheese 10% lox) and they blended that ish together like açaí. Pastries were fine I guess but everything else about this establishment left me with a bad taste. The menu also didn't advertise my food coming with a kale salad. Get over your pretentious bs. Airport Starbucks is superior in every way.

Svitlana S.

Yelp
Me and my husband come here from Denver. Try found good coffee and treats. Come this place. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Coffee is overpriced, hit cost 2.35 for iced you paying double,I don't understand why iced coffee is doubled???? Well, even if it's more expensive, so at least if it was delicious, so the coffee is bitter. And we take chocolates cookies, cookies 1 star because didn't have taste chocolate, you are you chewy and only after 10 minutes you start to taste chocolate.

Sara S.

Yelp
Love the new location in the old building. the additional seating outside and upstairs is greatly appreciated. The food is great as usual. I appreciate the gluten free options. I wish they'd offer trays to carry my food on.

Nancy B.

Yelp
Lady at the cash register was rude as heck. Not a good way to encourage return business. Spent maybe 10 minutes talking to her friend and then rushed away from the register.

Scott H.

Yelp
Excellent Salmon Toast . Service was fast , fri only and order was prepared correctly

Chris M.

Yelp
First time at the new location and it didn't disappoint. The coffee, pastries, and the sandwiches were awesome. Great vibe , do yourself a favor and get the Ruben toast and turkey sandwich, 2 of the best sandwiches in Fort Collins.

Abs F.

Yelp
I love this establishment, out of everything they have to offer, there is just not enough seating. I would also love some more gluten free options that aren't put out just to appease the demographic. From what I have tried there, the pastries are amazing and the staff is quick and kind. I love the little old town location, just wish there were more seating.

Josh N.

Yelp
Really cute shop and very excited for so many gluten free options. Love the espresso drinks as well. Everything we had was super tasty. Definitely will come back for more. Highly recommend stopping in.

Hilde K.

Yelp
Really charming and so many yummy baked goodies to choose from! Highly recommend! Plenty of GF options too.

Jim D.

Yelp
I think the new location is just wonderful, gives it such a great vibe and feels very cozy. I'm frustrated with my last experience (the first one at the new location). The cookie I got was stale. I got the turkey toast and asked off the cranberry sauce, but was told it comes in pre-made that way, which was off-putting. I ordered it just the same and the turkey tasted old. I think you folks can do better, hopefully return to the outstanding standards you had at your previous location.

Robert M.

Yelp
Great local coffee shop. Wonderful coffee and fantastic bakery goods. Excellent quality and a fun environment. Give them a try!

Molly B.

Yelp
Best baked goods in Fort Collins hands down. I always get the manchego biscuit and a monkey bread. But I have literally never had an item that wasn't incredible. The croque monsieur was delicious, came with a little side salad. If you come after 8am be prepared to wait in line but it is absolutely worth the wait. Seating inside is definitely limited, there are outdoor seats but not ideal in the colder months.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Great coffee, delicious scones in an old house redone and quaint. Perfect. Add in the weekly newspaper and clean bathrooms what more could you want!

Dakota M.

Yelp
One of the cutest coffee shops I have been to in foco. Super unique and amazing friendly staff. The food was amazing haven't had anything bad from there yet.

Brittany K.

Yelp
I love this little cafe it is so cute. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is amazing and very affordable! I got chia seed pudding and the ricotta toast with jam. Im glad the had toast options other than avocado toast (coming from somebody who doesn't like avocados). They also had a mushroom toast that looked bomb! The ricotta toast was so nice the toast was thick so it held up to the ricotta and jam and didn't get soggy. My boys loved the chia seed pudding they devoured it. I'm not sure what flavor it was but it tasted like coconut. Overall this place is a must if your in fort collins, you won't be disappointed

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Super cute bake shop In old town/ yummy coffee and pastries ! Really yummy- wouod ho vack!

Shelby L.

Yelp
Best bakery and cafe we have encountered in awhile. The pastries are amazing and their coffee is outstanding as well. My wife and I each had a cortado on our first visit and it was excellent. The second time we stopped on our way home to Longmont and picked up coffee to go and a pastry. We both loved the food, the coffee, and the ambience of Little Bird and will plan to visit any time we are in the area.

Susie S.

Yelp
Holy Moly! The baked goods were SO delicious. We stopped in for a treat on the drive home, wish we could have stayed to enjoy the dining area.

Cari B.

Yelp
I ordered a cake online for my husband's birthday. He is a chocolate lover so the chocolate cake with fudgey frosting was the obvious choice. The cake was amazing with a good quality chocolate taste without being too sweet. Pick up was also quick and easy!

Regan F.

Yelp
Everything here looked delicious, I wanted to try one of everything. The broccoli quiche was really good as well as the cold brew. Heads up: no wifi, which turned me off personally because I wanted to get some work done, but to each their own I suppose.

Char M.

Yelp
A large group of us visited today for the first time. The inside was nice but it was hard to find a place to comfortably seat 10 so we crowded around a 4 top. The coffee and tea were good. The pastries (lemon scone, pecan scone, blueberry crumble muffin) were all VERY dry.

Justin N.

Yelp
This is a nice little bakery. I chose this spot to study, however, if you require Wi-Fi I do not recommend this place. Luckily I didn't need it at the beginning of my session. Tables are limited and are small, not great for bigger parties. It gets crowded and a bit uncomfortable when it does. The selection of baked goods are great. I had myself a baked peanut butter sandwich cookie. A bit dry but good nonetheless. I also had a vanilla latte also good.

Nathan F.

Yelp
Best americano of my life and great baked goods. World class vibe. Friendly staff. Perfect coffeehouse.

Lisa G.

Yelp
Wonderfully comfortable coffee shop with great ambiance and welcoming staff. Had the raspberry bostock and blueberry muffin with cappuccino and a cafe au lait. The pastry and coffee were excellent. We will return.
