Had an amazing dinner here! We tried the cheese bread, the chicken croquettes, the beef and cheese empanada, the chicken stroganoff, and the steak. Then we finished the meal with a passion fruit mousse. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be back and recommend this place to family and friends!

We dined at Little Brazil on a Friday night around 8:10 PM, and from the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. As a lovely surprise, we were offered a complimentary tasting of Chardonnay, which was a great start to the evening. Our waitress, Lisa was incredibly friendly and attentive. She took the time to walk us through the menu and made sure we were comfortable with our choices. My husband and I ordered the Top Sirloin and the Skewer Flight - both were freshly prepared, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality and care that went into every bite. For dessert, we ended with the Passion Fruit Mousse, which was the perfect light and tangy finish to our meal. Toward the end of the evening, we even had the pleasure of seeing the chef, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. Overall, we had a wonderful evening.Little Brazil is a warm, friendly place with great service and outstanding food. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and flavorful dining experience! --- Would you like a shorter version for a platform like Yelp or Google Reviews?

Google
Little Brazil was even nicer than we expected/than their website portrayed. Lots of delicious food, includes the croquettes and the salmon dish. They also have mocktail options — the yuzu was great. Live music was beautiful, although may be a little loud for some folks, so good to keep in mind depending on who is in your group. We will be back!

Google
Having lived in São Paulo Brasil, I can say this place had me in my Saudades! The whole experience was great from staff service, drinks, appetizers to main dishes. I even bought some farofa and Garoto bombom in the little corner store before leaving. I can't wait to bring people back for more! Recommend: chicken bowl, caipirinha, and arugula salads!

Google
Several friends and I celebrated a birthday at Little Brazil and had a fantastic time! Many of us ordered the Picanha a la 5280, and the steak was flavorful and tender. The beef-filled sous vide onion was delectable! We also enjoyed the Brazilian Cheese Bread and the Hora da Festa, a bite-sized croquette sampler. Each croquette was uniquely delicious and left us wanting more! As a non-drinker, I appreciated the robust selection of interesting and well-thought-out mocktails made with non-alcoholic spirits. Lastly, the service was impeccable! Our large party felt welcome and well-accommodated, and our server was genuinely delightful. I encourage everyone to support this fantastic local restaurant. We are fortunate to have it right here in Wheat Ridge!

Google
We sat at the bar on a busy Friday night (during Restaurant Week 😬) and the food, drinks and service were all amazing! We should've skipped the sample platter appetizer because the entrees (steak, stroganoff and salmon) were huge portions! Thanks to the staff for the great service. Loved the all gender bathrooms.

Google
I’ve been to several Brazilian restaurants in the U.S. and Europe, and I can confidently say this is the best one I’ve ever been to outside of Brazil—hands down the best in Denver! The decor is beautiful, the location is great, and the service was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was beyond amazing—super friendly, chatted with us about Brazil, and made us feel at home. The food was incredible! The seasoning was authentically Brazilian, bringing back so many memories of home. The ingredients seemed top-notch, and the dishes were not only delicious but also well-prepared and beautifully presented. For Denver, the prices are totally reasonable, and honestly, this place is worth every penny. After the meal, they even offered a Brazilian-style coffee, which was a perfect touch to wrap up the experience. On top of that, they have a little market full of Brazilian goodies you can take home! You can go without hesitation! I’m already planning to come back at night to enjoy the live music and have an ice-cold beer. Can’t wait!

Google
Well appointed menu with all of the Brazilian favorites you would expect. The service was great and the chef/manager came to our table to answer some questions we had. Because we have spent a lot of time in Brazil, we were curious to know more about his background. The presentation is some of the best we have ever seen and they even offer chicken hearts (which can be hard to find). Cute atmosphere but parking can be tough. 📸 Click on the photos to see what we ordered.

Yelp
Very disappointing and we didn't even get to the food. We walked in on Friday at 4pm because their website said they had happy hour Monday to Friday until 5pm. The moment we walked in there was an unpleasant smell in the completely empty restaurant. We were seated and asked the waiter for the happy hour menu and was told it's only Tuesday to Thursday but he was going to ask the manager. He never came back and another waiter came over and we asked her about the happy hour too. She also was going to ask. At this point we were done and left. Poor service and bad smell. We won't be going back.

Yelp
Little Brazil was a delightful restaurant to try. While I'm very familiar with Brazilian steakhouses, I have never eaten at a Brazilian restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive to us and offered to bring out appetizers while we read the menu. He explained the menu to us and said that some of the items were seasonal, and some were main stays. We ordered the Brazilian cheese bread to start, which is always a hit in our family. I am a sucker for a good Picanha, so I knew I needed to get something with that. I ended up getting the Picanha A La 5280 and it was a nice sampling of Brazilian tastes. The potato fondant was perfect with the pre sliced beef. The sous vide onion was my favorite, aside from the meat. I paired dinner with a Mango Caipirinha cocktail and it was very strong but perfect. We ordered a bunch of desserts to wrap up our meal. We opted for the Pave and the Flan. Both were wonderful. The ambience of this restaurant was one wonderful paired with the food. We really had the opportunity to enjoy our company and food at the same time.

Yelp
My friend and I were looking for a place to eat. We both never had Brazilian food and this place had good reviews. Glad we came here. We were able to get seated right away since there's a lot of seating. We ordered the fried plantains which was really good because it wasn't so soggy from the frying oil. For our main entree, we ordered the salmon and the special with top sirloin. The salmon was so good with the yucca sauce. It definitely had a unique flavor than what I've tasted in other restaurants. The steak was also very tender and juicy. For dessert we had the Pave and I don't know what's in it, but it was so good. Prices and service were good. I'm not in wheat Ridge a lot, but I'll definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
I've visited a few times since they've moved to this location. The service is always really good and staff is super friendly. I was new to Brazilian food and they have given some good recommendations. The food is healthy, fresh, and tasty. Good drinks too! Priced pretty well and they have a nice outdoor patio. Both times that I've been in, it's been super clean.

Yelp
Stopped by this rainy, pre-snow Sunday to find a quiet dinner. Enjoyed the Brazilian cheese bread and chicken croquettes. I tried the mushroom stroganoff with a subtle cream sauce and truffle oil. Served with rice and mini shoestring potatoes. My wife had black bean stew served with rice, yucca flower garnish and a tasty salad of collard greens. While these sound prosaic they are prepared with care and full of flavor. Our server enjoyed telling us about each dish and helping us pronounce the unusual names. We resisted her efforts to add dessert though she was persuasive. Heck I'm old and can't eat like I used to. A delightful evening and will certainly return. Hope you get our server if you go.

Yelp
I had the best lunch today with a friend. The staff were incredible and the food was fresh and super yummy. I can't wait to come back. I would definitely recommend the Brazilian bowl, great way to sample a variety of items. Next time I'm going to bring the kids, they will love it.

Yelp
I just returned from Porto Seguro in Bahia. My fiancé is from Brasil. I wanted to see if the food here was as good. IT WAS! Everything was delicious and the staff was so kind when I attempted to speak Portuguese!

Daniel F.

Yelp
Had a great experience at Little Brazil. Really enjoy the drinks and food! Nice service. Dog friendly patio is a plus. Yummy!

Isabella A.

Yelp
The food was so much better at the old location. I would stop by at least twice a week because the food and service were consistently good. If you ordered food to go, the old staff would offer you water or coffee while you waited, not anymore. The empanadas used to be delicious and filled. Now, they skimp and barely fill the empanadas. Don't get me started on the dry texture of the chicken or the low quality beef. The staff don't even ask if you would like sauce with your take out order. The restaurant may be bigger and fancier but it's overpriced and the food is mediocre. Never going back.

Yelp
New location is top tier! Same incredible food and service as before. Don't sleep on the happy hour menu!

Samantha A.

Yelp
Visited this gorgeous restaurant for restaurant week with a special menu. The two courses were smaller, but incredible, and still left very full and delighted by the meal. Services was incredible. All staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and genially seem like people who are cool enough that you wish you were also friends with them. While these specific items might not be on the standard menu, it is entirely worth trying the whole menu. They also served a complimentary coffee at the end of the meal with a cookie. It was one of the most delightful dining experiences I've ever had.

Yelp
Aunties got a chance to stop here for some drinks! The atmosphere was so nice, clean and spacious! The was early afternoon so it was crowded. We will definitely be back! Bartender was so nice & friendly!

Yelp
Great spot! The food is really authentic and the staff are knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend.

Yelp
I picked this place because I was medically forced to go vegetarian recently and wanted to have a nice lunch with my sister whom I hadn't seen in about six months. Not only were there a nice selection of vegetarian options, but there were omnivore options for her as well. The Brazilian cheese bread completely blow my mind. I've never had yucca flower before and it was beyond delicious. I had the mushroom stroganoff and I loved it so much that I immediately wanted to find a recipe to make it at home. She had the salad which was also fabulous and we both loved each other dishes so much that we split them down the middle and shared them. But when it came time for the end of the meal, I opted for the truffles to go with complementary coffees. Both of us were completely blown away by absolutely everything but those truffles were the most incredible flavor, explosion and sensation. This was quite possibly one of the best meals I've had in years.

Yelp
Was just on I70 trying order lunch and was told that they wouldn't take my order by phone. Instead, I was instructed to go online to their website and order which was not possible or convenient. I told the hostess that they had just lost my business and hung up since I was driving 70 mph. She called me back and berated me accusing me of being rude for hanging up on her. That's really too bad when restaurants are going out of business (my favorite Cafe Brazil just called it quits last year) right and left here. Poor management kills good places like this. Will not be giving them my money again.

Yelp
Where do I even start? Giovanni was the best server that I have come across in a long time! From the start, his expertise and respect were way above expectation. We went with his recommendation for the black bean stew and it did not disappoint. The salad was fresh and such a nice change from my disgusting salad at Yabby Hut (Colfax location) last night. I will definitely be returning and telling all my chef friends what a great experience I had here. I'm super proud of this business for moving to a bigger location that suits their cuisine well. I had been to the old location for plantains (pregnancy craving) so when my mother invited me here, I was beyond excited. I can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu. Oh, and another shot out to Giovanni who ran a good two blocks on foot and met us at the light when my senior mom left her jacket on the chair! Super epic lunch. Thanks ya'll!

Yelp
Love the new location, don't love the increased food/drink prices . Service was great as usual and the new space is beautiful. I'm sad the servings seem really small . $18 Feijoada ! I swear I remember it being 9 bucks and way more food :( . Anyway I'd probably come back for drinks on the patio in the future.

Yelp
My fiancé and I finally tried this place out. We food was ok, we dank-ranked it 5/10, service was fine but slow. The inside of the restaurant looks great ambiance. We've had other Brazilian food before and loved the restaurant that's in Aurora.

Geovana O.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food. Lots of gluten free options that are marked on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was such a great find. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was delicious and nutritious, and the space was great. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I love this cute and authentic spot. They've been in business for eight years. There's a small market inside where They sell boxed desserts like wafers made in Brazil. The service is fast, the dishes are tasty. We had the Top Sirloin Special (Picanha) and the Chicken Stroganoff. Both are really delicious! The steak was tender. The salsa was amazing. I love that every bite of the steak was flavorful! But if you're into chicken then order this! It's yummy! The place is clean and if you drop by and see that there's some outside remodeling going on please don't worry. They're open.

Ann-Marie H.

Yelp
We came as a group of 10 here while we were in Denver for a conference. All of the 10 people said Little Brazil was their favorite meal the whole time we were here. They had a wonderful vegan black bean stew and fantastic skewers, steaks, empanadas and my favorite, plantains! The cocktails were amazing. The owner fills her resturant with warmth and an eye for the perfect aesthetic throughout.

Tammy P.

Yelp
We have visited a few times before tonight, but were blown away by the upscale Valentines day menu! Outstanding drink and food options - we will definitely be back!

melissa r.

Yelp
LOVE this place! Cannot wait to go back. We had the chicken and the beef croquettes, cheese rolls and empanadas. Delicious. The chicken and cheese mixture was unbelievably smooth and creamy in the croquettes. The beef was savory and well-spiced. I had to force myself not to eat all the cheese bread rolls. Be sure to save room for dessert empanadas. The guava and the nutella were my favorites. Service was amazing as well. Excellent wine pairing recommendations. Top notch. Decor was beautiful. I want to steal that tile off the wall and bar! I can't wait to go back at night when they have music. Well done!

Eleni R.

Yelp
Came here with my partner and her friend, both from Brazil (born and raised). The atmosphere was really good, but it was a bit loud from the singer. You could tell everyone there was Brazilian, which was awesome! They had an awesome small selection of Brazilian goodies to take home. The restaurant service was a bit slow for the food, but the staff was great. Regarding the food, it was alright. I got the stroganoff, which has corn. I like corn but was unaware of it being in the stroganoff. My partner and her friend got Feijoada, they weren't really big fans. They also didn't like the stroganoff. The portions were really small for the price as well. The brigadiero was really good! Other than that, we had a good time and they also enjoyed their drinks. We probably wouldn't come back for the food but would come for the drinks, appetizers, and overall vibe.

Vanessa O.

Yelp
If you loved the old Little Brazil location, you will love this new one even more. It's about five times bigger, with a gorgeous full bar and large outdoor patio. Live music nights on the weekends have such a joyful vibe. You can get all the classic and delicious Brazilian staples--coxinha, pao de queijo, feijoada, picanha, chicken prato feito, empanadas (pasteiis), caipirinhas, and now there is a full breakfast/brunch menu every day (the cheese bread waffle is my favorite).

Janice H.

Yelp
The best part of my meal was the Brazilian cheese bread. The signature stew vegan version was a cup portion for $18 which I thought was excessive. Price aside the flavor was bland which was unexpected. The atmosphere and service was nice. The focus was on another table that appeared to be a friend of the waitress. We were the only two tables
google avatar

Marilene D.

Yelp
It's our first time eating lunch here! We are from Florida lost in this cold region of Lakewood Colorado finally to enjoy our brazilian stile of food I had the picanha meat plate and my husband had the grill chicken. Both order guarana for drink of course mouse of passion fruit. In the end I ask for coffee they got us this cute little cups lol. Interesting some customers are native Americans I guess married to brazilian! If you are considering to come this place has a very small area to eat we had to wait for available table just there you can imagine how good is the food. We are thinking to coming back for dinner.

C R.

Yelp
5 Stars for Little Brasil! The food is amazing. They have gluten free options. Don't leave without trying the yucca fries. The owners are so friendly. It is tastefully appointed. The bar is beautiful. There is also have a little market. They are dog friendly, too. I went out of my way to give this business a try. I can't wait to return.

Chef David E.

Yelp
As a Prof Chef of 45+ years.... I REALLY wanted to like this place. I did. In reality... it was "ok." Having actually visited Sao Paulo years ago, I remember the food a bit differently. Lots of fresh meats and vegetables and fruits, lots of eggs, ... and very different range of spices flavors and textures compared to the more common Hispanic/ Latin foods that most Americans are familiar with. At Little Brazil... the "Chicken Strogonoff?" was far less of any sort of Strogonoff and more like a stripped-down, not-much-in-it Étouffée (without shrimp) with crushed Ruffles Potato chips on the side. The Empanadas were, again, Ok. Strange flavors/ flavor combinations. Over-all, it was rather $$$$ (almost $50 including tip) for the equivalent of Brazilian fast food/ street food. Very Friendly Service. (to my wife) "Well honey? At least we can say we tried it." Nope, not including a photo because food (over all), unless professionally photographed, looks like cr@p in pictures. (especially half eaten like you so often see here on Yelp.)

Yelp
Love this place!!! Everything is great! Coming from a Brazilian. Just been waiting for the remodeling so we can visit again. Food is delicious and genuinely Brazilian style. Love how they always have Globo playing on the tvs, live soccer games and such.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
This place makes you feel like home. You can just tell when people are authentically kind and good and the people who run this place are definitely that. Seriously the service alone made my whole day and deserves 5 stars. Onto the food! I ordered the chicken stroganoff and it was delicious. At first I was a little underwhelmed at the plating and presentation but the flavors totally make up for it. Chicken was tender and the sauce was really balanced and flavorful. I was skeptical about the potato chips but they definitely add a nice crunch and texture to the dish. At the end the server offered a complementary cup of coffee which was a thoughtful touch! Such a great way to end a casual lunch on a weekday. Please please please come here if you haven't already.

Richard H.

Yelp
Just finished lunch at the finally reopened Little Brazil restaurant. My wife and I had the Picanha special, beef empanadas and the fried sweet plantains. Everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and the ambiance much nicer than their old place. I would say the prices were reasonable for this style and level of restaurant. My only complaint would be the long walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. Not a big deal on a nice day like today but might make me think twice in bad weather
google avatar

Sonia S.

Yelp
This place is so yummy! Definitely felt the culture with each bite and all the snacks they have around made me feel like I was in Brazil. The chicken stroganoff was my favorite!

Jody S.

Yelp
We waited for almost a year for them to reopen. And I am very disappointed in the Food the Chicken Stroganoff was very bland chicken was dry and large chunks with no Flavor. Waitress says they have a new Chef. Thinking the owner needs to bring her family recipes back and not the chef's recipes. And Parking is not convenient what so ever. We will return in a month or two to try again. J.S

Yelp
First time ever eating Brazilian food and it was amazing! I will for sure be visiting again and trying something else on the menu. The stew was delicious, tasted homemade. The coxinha was my favorite, it was tasty and went really well the the garlic and hot sauces. Staff was friendly, I ordered for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes. Pleasant experience

Yelp
Sooo happy to find Brazilian goodies in Denver. This place is a must go if you like Brazilian food. Lots of options for people that do not eat meat. Their Jackfruit Coxinha is amazing! The Couve and their Mushroom Strogonoff is really good. They also have a Brazilian Beer from the south of Brazil that is worth trying, I forgot the name. Pastel de Palmito is another great thing to order. Do not forget of the Brigadeiro and Beijinho and take a pack of Farofa with you home. Tin-Tin.

Yelp
Excellent little gem. Great vegan choices if that's your thing. Food is very consistent and always delicious

Yelp
I love their food, the pao de queijo is so good. The little bite sized desserts are delicious. The market has a good selection of frozen and non perishable items to take home too.

Yelp
I came here for a quick late lunch this weekend not realizing there was more than one Brazilian place in the area west of Denver. It felt so comfortable talking with and ordering in Portuguese. Many patrons and all of the staff were from Brazil and extremely happy to help everybody, whether it was a to-go order or sit-down situation. We sat down and were seated promptly after ordering up front. Unfortunately, they were out of pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) and caipirinhas (sugar cane rum with sugar, mint, lime and optional fruit). I'm sure that would've made this experience 6 stars rather than 5! Despite the lack of items, we were still able to order a VEGAN feijoada which is just unheard of, in addition to some fried yucca and fruit juice. The yucca fries were seasoned perfectly, the food was delivered promptly and we were checked on multiple times despite not having dedicated wait staff. Anyone looking to try out Brazilian food or even get a feel for the culture should definitely check this place out. I'll be back soon for sure - até logo!!
google avatar

Keenan L.

Yelp
Four stars is about right for this little pocket Brazillian food spot. I honestly rate the food 3/5, that's being nice; everything else gets a four or five. Nice controlled business flow, great atmosphere, guy in the front was helpful, feels like you're getting some local food. Nothing to write home about but good food that will fill you up.
google avatar

Hannah G.

Yelp
Authentic food and friendly service, a bit overpriced for what it is but what isn't nowadays. I crave their guava & cheese empanada, cheese balls, kibe croquette, and sweet plantains quite often. Lots of gluten free options!!! Have tried most of the main dishes and haven't been disappointed, especially when doused in that white garlic sauce... YUM! The only other heads up I'll give is that it takes a long time to get the food, whether dining in or calling for takeout. It took the full 35 mins for a to-go order of a handful of pastries. Otherwise, this place is a hidden gem!
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
Loved it. Met up some of the fam to take our mom out for mothers day. It was a great lunch for sure! We ordered everything from empanadas, stroganoff, sirloin, vegan bowl, black bean stew, to drinks....stella draft machine? Done!!! The little market area was cool too! Ppl who dined there were awesome as well. The guy running the counter was efficient, kind, attentive, and informative. We will be back!

Yelp
We've been coming to this little gem since we moved to the neighborhood in 2018. The service is great and the food is so good. Very happy to see them in business after Covid and happy to see the shopping center getting a makeover. We typically order chicken stroganoff and a few sweet empanadas
google avatar

Jasmine N.

Yelp
I so so wanted to be in love with Little Brazil. The aroma in the establishment was incredible. The Feijoada was nice- good flavor. But I really went to try the Empanadas. I bought $40 worth- thought it would be a nice lunch treat for the family. Great price- nice and big- but very sad filling.
google avatar

Roxanna C.

Yelp
Don't let the construction stop you from enjoying the best Brazilian restaurant! The steak and black beans was on point add the appetizer cheese bread, fresh salsa and empanadas were amazing!!
google avatar

Lucas C.

Yelp
Did take out and I was totally impressed by the food here. Coccinia was the stand out to me - I could eat it warm or cold it don't matter it was so delicious. Pao de quejio was not my favorite iteration of that product, but still uber tasty (I mean cheesy bread essentially, whats not to like). We also enjoyed some Pasteis which were really delicious as well. They got a wall of some imported products and it's a small shop that you feel really good supporting and is super affordable. You better believe we will be coming back -- it's a great stop when you are driving back into the city from the moutains and that hunger has got you.

Yelp
We just moved into our new house and found Little Brazil through Yelp. It is a mere five minutes from home and glory be! What a delicious little find. I haven't had Brazilian food since, well, since I was in Brazil many years ago. The owner very nicely and patiently explained the different offerings. Today we settled on the shredded chicken croquettes, cheese and heart of Palm "empanada," mixed meat empanadas, fried plantains, chocolate truffle, passion fruit mousse and guava juice. We all agreed the chicken empanada was the star of the day. Followed by the meat and cheese empanadas then passion fruit mousse. The empanadas had thin yet crispy dough. None of the fried items were greasy. My mom really enjoyed the passion fruit mousse which I had to agree was perfectly tart. It was a huge portion and enough for three of us to share and a little to take home for my dad.

Yelp
Very nice menu, food was good and very friendly service. My husband had frango a passarinho for the first time and loved it. The Feijoada was excellent Would definitely return
