All of the New Restaurants in the Hamptons This Summer

"Wood-fired pizzas from classic margaritas to the Diablo with soppressata and spicy honey,  are the attraction at this storefront sibling of the Bleecker Street spot, that will stay open weekend night until 4 a.m. In case you want to try your hand at whipping up a pie, pizza classes will be available Sundays and Thursdays." - Beth Landman

What’s New in the Hamptons? The Restaurants, Hotels, and Stores to Know for Summer 2024 | Vogue

"Just past Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton will be Lil Charli, a casual pizza spot serving elevated pies—one comes with soppressata and spicy honey, while another is topped with prosciutto, burrata, and arugula. Oh and, they’re all available at one-meter long. An added bonus? It’s open until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, meaning you can get your late-night fix." - Elise Taylor

A wonderful spot for authentic Italian cuisine, featuring cherished family recipes passed down from the owner’s Nonna. The dishes are delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

I can't believe we only just found this place. This is the Italian I grew up on that is hard to find in the Hamptons. We had the chicken parm, meatballs, Ceasar salad and a margarita pizza. All very well done -- the red sauce just works. Lina was great and very attentive throughout the night. Only suggestion would be to add a kid menu, particularly during the offseason to make more family friendly. Highly recommend!

This is our second time visiting in the last month or so and wow, I just can’t be more delighted to have Little Charli’s around the area. It’s a reprieve from the atmosphere at most east end restaurants without suffering food quality. The chicken parm is unbelievable. Seriously. It’s as good as any chicken parm on the planet in my opinion. The pizza is great too… the dough is incredible. Unique. Light. Cooked to perfection. If I had to change anything? My wife would like some different wine options. Other than that, we will be back many times over the course of this summer. Keep up the good stuff, Lil Charli team!

Every dish we tried here—and we tried most of them—was outstanding. The wild-caught tuna was incredibly fresh, perfect both in the tuna tartare and as a main course. The pastas were perfectly cooked, and the pizzas were classic New York style—better than anywhere else in the Hamptons. This place easily ranks among the best Italian restaurants in the area, and I’ve tried them all. I’ve even been to Tutto Il Giorno and at Arthur’s, and frankly, I left unimpressed—until I came here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the drinks are spot-on, the service was flawless, and the food feels like a true Italian Sunday dinner at home. I strongly recommend coming here for a family dinner—you absolutely can’t go wrong.

We had an outstanding meal here last night and can't wait to go back. Our waitress was excellent from the moment we stepped in the front door until we left. We got the fried zucchini chips, the wood fired quattro formaggi pizza, and the ricotta gnocchi...everything was incredibly flavorful and not too filling. Will 100% be recommending Frankie's to the local community, hope they're here to stay!!

I’m honestly not sure how this place has a 4.7 rating. We came in tonight, it was almost empty, and they still failed to serve one of our main courses. The rest of our table had already finished eating before we realized it was never coming. What made it worse was the staff’s completely nonchalant attitude, as if it wasn’t a big deal. And the cherry on top? They told us they “took the dish off the bill”… for the meal we never even received in the first place. Pretty disappointing all around.

Owner requested additional details for my review, happy to help. Overall nice people work there, service was kind and moderately attentive as we waited a while for service between courses and the restaurant only had 3 active tables. The restaurant atmosphere rating is based on the restaurant's condition....it is old, dark, seating is uncomfortable....room needs a coat of paint and an upgrade.....the food is overly breaded and the actual food is buried....you only taste the breading, not the zucchini or veal cutlet below it. Food was mainly breading and my chicken parm was burnt on the bottom. Meanwhile my half order of pasta was less than room temperature when served. Clearly there was a mistake in timing in the kitchen even though they were not very busy. Pardon my honest assessment but the staff seemed to try. I am also very picky and critical of good food. The effort was clearly there, but fell short imo. Hope this helps and good luck in the future.

Came here for dinner and had the best time! We sat at the bar and the bartender (Ellison) was not only so much fun but all around great and had great suggestions for what to eat! The antipasto salad was super refreshing, chicken parm was huge and SO good and the meatballs were also really good. I had wine and my partner had some tasty cocktails. The ambiance is good and I can’t wait to come back and sit outside in the summer!
