Google
A cozy place with tasty, healthy vegan crepes. The whole menu seems amazing. We had a savory breakfast crepe and a sweet one with walnuts, homemade nutella-like filling and jam. Both were extremely tasty, worth the price. Good coffee, even though very small (it’s a cortado on pics). Highly recommended:)

This place was INCREDIBLE. I would eat the pizza crepe with tofu ricotta and avocado everyday if I could. It was so insanely delicious. The perfect combo of crepe, pizza flavor, and avocado; they did not skimp out! My husband got the burrito bowl and my child got the breakfast bowl, the actual names might be slightly different hence why I didn’t capitalize. The chipotle hot sauce and the white sauce they gave was soooo tasty, and the coconut bacon, just wow! The portions were very appropriate which I appreciated! The waitress was so kind and sweet mannered. We luckily had the whole upstairs to ourselves, I felt like I was in a movie. It had romantic lighting, romantic decor, it was home-y yet chic; simply amazing. I will be coming back. I also tried the raw cider, which was funky yet tasty just like it says on the cool looking can! I also definitely love that the bathroom is upstairs with the main dining area; it makes sense but isn’t common enough for restaurants to have bathrooms in places that make sense!

Google
Best crepes I’ve ever had! Garden of Eatin was soooo tasteful. The vegan Nutella was good as well. My dad got the specialty scone, which I had a bite of, and that was everything I expected a good scone to be. Would pass on most of the drinks if I went again, except for the nutella mocha

Finally got to eat here and I LOVE it! So good, you gotta try!! The crepes were absolutely delicious. I had the Garden of Eatin and my friend had the burrito crepe. Yummy!!! And we both love matcha so we had the delicious matcha lemonade with vegan honey in it—OMG yummy too! Absolutely wonderful, can’t wait to go back. Our waiter was lovely. Seating outside is really nice, also inside. Vegan food just keeps getting better!

Google
Awesome vegan cafe and coffee spot! Friendly and helpful staff, great place for breezy outdoor dining or cozy indoor. The BBQ Jackfruit Crepe was perfect size, not too overpowering flavor wise, and really hit the spot after a night out. With a Mocha on top of it, this made for the perfect breakfast, highly recommend stopping in here for a quick vegan breakfast in Brooklyn

I would visit daily if I were close!😄 I visited for my 1st time about a week ago. It was also my first time having a crepe. I had a savory one this time around. It was the "Jacked Up". I got coconut bacon added to it "because that's my business" 😎. The entire experience was really good! The staff was professional, courteous and friendly. The food itself was so beautiful I didn't want to eat it. It was as good as I thought it would be too! I had an overall great first time experience having a crepe. I'll be back and I'll get two the next visit ☺️

Google
Very cozy spot, great for friends or a date. The “tea room” upstairs is full service (sit down, give a tip), and is very cute. There is a bathroom and wifi. I ordered a chai tea latte (with oat milk) and a maple syrup + walnut crepe to go. Both tasted pretty good but I would come back for the dining experience / cozy environment more than the food. I think the prices would be worth it if you’re dining in.

Google
Heard a lot about it and it didn’t fail me. Went for a brunch with my gals. Small & cozy outdoor dining with heaters, perfect for this weather. Beautiful decor.Loved the crepes. Burrito crepe was amazing. The host was super friendly & nice.

Yelp
Williamsburg is losing a vegan gem You have until 9/30 to eat all the vegan crepés at here at Little Choc Apothecary I highly suggest snagging these two while you're there: Strawberry & Clotted Cream Crêpe I'm officially a clotted cream girl. Not too sweet and oh-so simple, fresh, and delightful. Don't skip it. $15 Room For Mushroom This is filled with herb roasted mushrooms, spinach, walnuts, and a bomb tahini basil sauce. If you like mushrooms and flavor you need this in your mouth. $17 The staff is super friendly and I love the interior. We will miss you, Little Choc

Yelp
I stopped into Little Choc Apothecary for an açaí bowl and I have to admit that I was very underwhelmed. I ordered the PB&J bowl, and while I really appreciate that several of the ingredients were homemade, it was still extremely average and didn't live up to the $18 price tag. I love the idea of a PB&J bowl, but I just didn't feel like the peanut butter flavor came though enough to pull the bowl together. I also wasn't super impressed with the toppings. That said, I do know that this place is primarily known for their crepes, and I'll have to come back to try one. The shop itself is super cute inside with a large amount of outdoor seating. No complaints about the service either!

Yelp
Loved this spot! I pass by literally every day and so happy to hear that it will no longer be closing as I plan to make myself a regular Will preface this by saying I heard mixed reviews prior to going-- one person had recommended against the jackfruit burrito but another person raved about the sweet crepe. I am usually not a fan of fake meats so opted for the burrito crepe. It seems to be one of their lost popular items and it was great! A bit salty but that's okay. It was also very filling so a great option even for dinner. My only surprise was that the cheese sauce on the crepe was cold against the warm food. I don't know if this is intentional or not but found it a bit odd. Worked here for a few hours after eating and its really the ideal spot to work at-- outlets by the tables, cute window seating, and not too quiet/loud. Tried the newtella mocha with their signature coconut and almond milk later on as a sweet pick me up and it was so good! Definitely a sweeter drink so if you aren't in the mood for something sweet I wouldn't recommend. Staff here was super friendly and kind and seem to be happy to be there- positive vibes!

Yelp
This place is cute. Upon entering you can have anseat outside, in the first floor or second floor. They serve all vegan crepes and smaller pastries. The service was nice and fast. I got a organic raspberry jam with banana slices. It was nice and the banana slices amde it easier to eat but it was missing a sort of creamy base as it was a little dry to eat but it was tasty.

Yelp
Food is so filling and healthy and delicious. The ambiance is so calming and you can come here to just chit chat with your friends. The servers are attentive and friendly, I am 100% coming back here, it was a lovely experience

Yelp
I need to come back here for the crepes and baked goods! My bf and I stopped inside to grab a quick drink. We both ordered a hot golden milk, which did the job. They presented it with a cute tea cup. A bit pricey for tea, but it's nyc. Outdoor seating, bar seats downstairs and upstairs is the actual dining area. Service was attentive and everyone was friendly. It was fairly busy and their phone was ringing nonstop so if you plan on dining inside make sure you make reservations. I sat downstairs by the window and loved watching the employees make fresh and delicious sweet/savory crepes.

Yelp
We love this place. Great crepes, both savory and sweet. Everything is vegan and gluten free. The quality and overall satisfaction is through the roof! The spot itself has a beautiful home vibe to it - you feel like someone is serving you tea right out of their dining room. We're so happy this is one of the places that survived the pandemic because it truly is one of a kind. Little Choc is in Williamsburg but it's outside of the tourist sector. The neighborhood is predominantly Dominican. What I'm saying is, although Little Choc looks hip ;) it's in an area that hasn't been gentrified yet. It's a beautiful place to get a feel for what Brooklyn is really all about. Definitely visit!

Sara Y.

Yelp
Vegan restaurant! In Williamsburg, This place for highly recommended when you're off from work or you have lots of time. Waitress are laid back, you'll have to have smart phone to scan the menu first sometimes waitress forgot to leave the menu so it took while to get menu...lol It's very relaxing vibe here but when you're in Rush I don't think this is the place. Matcha latte $5.50comes with oat milk. It's delicious. 2nd fl seats are good vibes and cozy. Try it :) Tried pizza crape this is more for vegan ppl I believe, but in the end. I liked it a lot :) Waiters won't come up to 2nd fl when 1st fl is very busy.

Yelp
For success in life and food, follow my 3-step guide for crepe-based dining: 1. bring a friend. 2. get 1 savory crepe per person. 3. share a sweet crepe for dessert. It's that simple! Step 3 can be modified based on how much each person values dessert. It might be a solid 2-crepes-per-person kind of day and there is nothing wrong with that! Beyond the basic strategy, here is what you should know going in to Little Choc: -Expect warm, friendly, delightful people. My friend and I felt so well cared for and looked after. Everyone was lovely. Our food came out very quickly, but we never felt rushed. -You might not even notice that it's vegan. The crepes have a beautiful, very slightly fluffy texture, with crispy edges. The pizza crepe has all the flavors and textures you would expect, but none of the dairy :) -The absolute star for me was the sweet crepe with their vegan clotted cream, raspberry jam, and raspberries. I brought home my leftovers and just finished them for breakfast. Heavenly. -The whole place is a ~vibe~. Sit at the window downstairs and people-watch, or go upstairs and enjoy the ambience. We went on October 1st and there were mini pumpkins and autumnal decorations on every table, it was so lovely! All in all, one of my favorite places for crepes, vegan or otherwise. Highly recommend!

Sze Ting L.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place since it's known for having both sweet and savory crepes, and many people raved about the savory burrito crepe online. It's a really laid back spot and doesn't seem very big when you walk in, but most of the seating is upstairs, which has a nice ambiance to it. I ordered the mushroom crepe, which came with cheese and tahini sauce, and as much as I wanted to like it, I simply thought this was one of the most subpar crepes I have ever had. I thought it must be due to the gluten free base that was used, and I'm simply not used to the flavor, but I was not impressed with the filling inside either. Perhaps their sweet crepes are better but overall the experience was okay.

Niaz P.

Yelp
Came here for a brunch with 6 people and was able to be seated upstairs with a reservation. First impressions were a little off because it felt dirty since there were so many flies around. It wasn't very busy inside so I don't know if a reservation was even necessary. We ordered the brunch deal they had which was two cookies, a scone, tea and a crepe for 29. It was a good deal. I enjoyed the room for mushroom crepe and the chocolate chip cookie. I didn't feel like there was anything special about the scone. The tea was also fresh and flavorful. You do get a lot of tea with the meal. I'd say the service didn't feel too great. If you come here count on a good deal on vegan crepes, but don't expect to be wowed by the actual restaurant.

Yelp
When you find a gluten-free and vegan creperie you just need to go. And trust me, you won't miss gluten or dairy/meat at Little Choc. Making almost every item on thier menu (we're talking about 90%!) you can feel the love in each bite. It's hard to find a V/GF afternoon tea and Little Choc has a wonderfully currated one. I haven't had one since I gave up gluten and dairy 10 years ago. So when u saw they offered this I had to get it. I ordered the Savory Tea which was plenty for two people: 2 cookies, a daily scone with thier homemade vegan clotted cream as raspberry jam, a savory crepe of your choice and a pot of tea. So good! It's not to be missed. They have so many delicious options we will come again before we head back to the PNW. Leo put server is a master at his craft, serving the entire dining room with class and respect. You can tell he loves his job. A trip to Little Choc for some of the best crepes in the city is a must when you visit Brooklyn or NYC for that matter. I just wish more places like this existied in my neck of the woods.

Asia B.

Yelp
The service is amazing! The coffee is amazing!!! Now the bad, there's no AC, I don't even know how the people ate so nice and it feels like hell. The chocolate chip cookie tastes like chalk, you know sometimes you get a vegan cookie that doesn't taste like a vegan cookie? This one tastes like a vegan cookie but worse!

Alice M.

Yelp
Delicious and healthy food and choco Mayte coffee. Prefect place to study. I like the deco as well.

Adi M.

Yelp
A great place for unique crepes! I ordered the pizza crepe with mushrooms and ricotta. It was pretty good, a unique way to enjoy the flavors of a pizza. The vegan ricotta was the highlight. You don't really notice that what you're eating is vegan. For dessert we got the Newtella crepe with strawberries, The vegan Newtella was nice and rich and chocolatey. In a vacuum this was the better of the two crepes I had probably because the medium of a crepe seems better fit for sweet rather than savory. I also got the chocolate mud cake which was like any standard chocolate cake I'd say. I saw that this place is closing this weekend I believe, so this may be one of its last reviews. I'll be sad to see it go!

Susan L.

Yelp
Great place for food or snack and some coffee/tea. They have outdoor seatings and also indoor seatings upstairs or by the window on the ground level. You can also order for take-out. The food was delicious. I had the matcha latte. It was not too sweet. It is a bit on the smaller side served in a tea cup, but was good enough. I also had the soup of the day, which was chickpea soup. That came in a bowl so it was filling. Very smooth and delicious soup. It is table service when you are sitting inside or outside so a waitress will come to you to take your order. It's not quite a cafe but definitely has that good vibe and not rushed.

Sofyan S.

Yelp
Food (5/5): Got the pizza crepe with avocado and mushrooms. The crepe was a bit tough but overall really tasty and well flavored! Venue (5/5): A bit small but very well decorated venue with a nice vibe. The way the lights and tables are set up is extremely homely and nice. Service (4/5): Overall good service. Fast seating time, food came out fast and the server helped me when needed. The server could check up more frequently.

Em M.

Yelp
Solid brunch space with good prices and quality food Little Choc Apothecary is a lovely spot in Williamsburg, with plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. We got their Pizza Crepe with a chocolate mud cake, splitting the two was more than enough to fill us up. The crepe is probably one of my favorites on their menu, albeit a little on the salty side. The cake was great with the chocolate mud drizzled on top, but was otherwise a bit dry. Definitely a great vegan spot, would come back!

Erin C.

Yelp
I love this place. I used to come by more often when I took a ceramic class nearby. Since pandemic, I've only come a few times. It felt like a perfect cold winter day to stop in, get a delicious hot chocolate, earl grey cookie and read a book. I love sitting upstairs by the window where it is cozy and quiet. To my pleasant surprise, they have a happy hour wine/beer deal so when my boyfriend joined me later on, we took advantage and enjoyed some wine before heading out to dinner. This will definitely be in my winter circuit during the cold months in BK!

Nessa S.

Yelp
4.5 stars! I really enjoyed this place. 100% Vegan AND gluten-free for the win. The dining room was cozy and intimate. The service was quick, thorough and friendly. I really enjoyed the pot of tea with the homemade coconut almond milk and coconut sugar. The scone was DELICIOUS, paired with the clotted cream and Cherry Chia jam. The cookies were good as well. What I wasn't a fan of was the jackfruit crepe. It needed more flavor. The 'bbq' sauce tasted closer to a marinara sauce and also needed more of a fresher element to it beside the few pieces of raw spinach tossed in. I will definitely be back and opting for a sweet crepe which I have faith will be great. Also looking forward to trying out more teas, tonics etc...

Cristina U.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, service and vegan food with good flavors and presentation. The desserts are simply spectacular.

Merelyn B.

Yelp
One of my favorite vegan restaurants. A lot has changed but it still has a special place in my heart. The staff is always so sweet. Over the years I often meet the sweetest servers here. Juices / smoothies are always bomb. Sweet or savory crepes as well. Portions are great! Also love their açaí bowl. Their homemade milk is so yummy! Only thing I've kept trying that I'm not a huge fan of is their pastries but that's just me. Ambiance is cute and cozy.

Savanna S.

Yelp
This was the first and last place we ate on our visit to Brooklyn - and I have a feeling it'll be a necessary stop in all trips from here on out! First of all, what an absolute dream to know everything on the menu is gluten free (and vegan!!). It's so freeing to be able to have WHATEVER I WANT on a menu. Bless. There are other things to love, too. The people who work at Little Choc are an absolute delight. I felt like I wanted to stop and say bye to each person as we left because they all made our experience really special. The vibes are incredible. Seating area upstairs is never too crowded but Little Choc is also an ideal place to grab and go if you don't have the time to sit. The scone flavor changes weekly and both scones we tried were TO DIE FOR with jam and clotted cream. Every crepe we tried (both sweet and savory) was heavenly. I wish we had time to go back and try their tea service (just like high tea in England!). I can't say enough good things about our experiences. This place really feels like home

Hannah B.

Yelp
This place feels straight out of a rom com or storybook - impossibly charming, kind and attentive staff and incredible food. I'm vegan and have brought many carnivores here over the years and they always give the place top marks. I'm so glad they found a buyer, because Williamsburg would be a worse place without them. Cannot recommend enough.

Kristi L.

Yelp
A cute vegan restaurant with friendly service and yummy crepes. Their deal on Seated got me to come here; though, after telling friends about it, it seems like everyone has already been here! My bf and I enjoyed our time at Little Choc. We were seated in their upstairs dining room and were the only ones there until closing. There is a clean one-person bathroom on this level and clear partitions separating the tables. We both ordered crepes and lattes, which were pretty good. Being a non-vegan and unused to vegan food, the flavors weren't very strong for me but were enjoyable nevertheless. The "clotted cream" was coconut-based and pretty tasty. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because, for what you get, I think it's a tad expensive. This might also be due to the added COVID recovery surcharge. Add the tip on top of that, and dessert for two people is the price of two meals. In the end, I'd likely come back to try something else.

Max B.

Yelp
There's a reason why Lil Choc is one of my favorite eats in NY. These crepes are good for any and every meal. I usually have them for weekend brunch, but we just had them for dinner and it was lit. For savory, we first had the burrito and jackfruit bbq crepes. The burrito stuck to the basics with whole black beans, avocado, and a (cashew?) crema to balance it out. It was delish. The jackfruit bbq wasn't my favorite of the savory crepes (others have blown my mind in the past) but my gf really liked it. The bbq sauce was on the smoky side, where I tend to prefer the sweet and tangy approach. For both of these the highlight was the crepe itself, with a batter that had a subtle sweetness to complement the filling. We finished with a strawberry, Nutella, whipped cream dessert crepe and this was a veritable treat for the tastebuds. I'm a sucker for sweet crepes. I enjoyed sitting outside for the first time and am glad to see they expanded the seating bc this place was always busy and getting a table took a while when I visited.

Shana M.

Yelp
What a gem! We had such a wonderful first time experience at Little Choc. We were greeted by and taken care of by Erin - who was a thoughtful and fun host and waitress. As this was our first visit, we asked for her recommendations and boy are we glad we did! We started with a tier of scones and breads with fresh jam and clotted cream, then my mother and I each had a savory and sweet crepe. DELICIOUS and great portion sizes. And a big thank you to the cook, Rachel! Everything was so good, that I got a to go order to bring back home for my boyfriend. We will definitely be back!

Melanie M.

Yelp
This place is amazing. From the fresh vegan food to the excellent service 10 out of 10. The perfect place to spend a cold NYC winter's day. I'm so sad they are closing, make sure you check them out before the end of February

Kristine N.

Yelp
The food and drinks were amazing! I got the pizza crepe with sweet potatoes and tofu ricotta- highly recommend the tofu ricotta. Unfortunately, service was pretty bad that night. Took ages to get seated, orders taken, and our food. Half of our tables food came a half hour before the rest. I'm hoping it was just an off night because if they happen to find a way to stay open I would love to stop by again and try more of the food! I haven't had many vegan crepes so I hope they are bought.

Cøurtney S.

Yelp
Amazing! Nearly every ingredient is made in house here and you can tell. From their take on Nutella to the barbecue sauce every detail was delicious and felt intentional. I had a savory pizza crepe and also sampled some of my partners Nutella strawberry crepe. Both were amazing. Outdoor and indoor seating options here are both very cute. Great spot for a casual date.

Alicia C.

Yelp
Five stars for a menu that's completely vegan AND Gluten free! The menu is varied enough where it doesn't feel like the same ingredients are being recycled into the same few combinations. There's a crepe for every flavor, the smoky bbq (jackfruit), the marinara and basil (pizza) and even housemade cashew cheese and tofu ricotta! Completely vegan and gluten-free creperías are far and few already, but of the ones that do exist, Little Choc stands out for making their own cheeses. But that's not the best part. I've been looking for a vegan Afternoon (English) Tea forever now. And I've seen one or two that either aren't completely vegan or don't have your traditional English style tea items. First off, the array of teas are excellent. You have everything from traditional English teas, to Chinese teas, Indian teas and their apothecary of herbal blends. Second, they have scones! AND the Cottled cream! If you're lucky enough to find vegan afternoon tea with scones, usually it's a store bought butter or cream - nothing special. But super kudos for making in-house creams (and coconut cream for the sweet crepes). Lastly, you get to choose a crepe with the savory Afternoon Tea option which is lovely is you want to try both the crepe and the scones. This is great meetup spot for anyone vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, health conscious or not. The reason being there's hearty savory crepes, sweet dessert crepes, nutritious bowls, smoothies, acai bowls, soups and the Afternoon Tea - which is perfect for casual meetups or just alone. Even though they do have slightly larger tables for 3-4, the space is small and cozy so I'd suggest coming either alone or with just 1 person for the best experience. I'm really excited about adding this to my Gluten Free Vegan list. It's definitely going to be my new go-to for the weekend meetup.

Himani M.

Yelp
I was very interested in trying this vegan creperie. First off, one look at the menu, and you will be impressed by how many options they have. The inside of the restaurant is just lovely, I sat upstairs by the window, and it felt like I could've been in sitting in a cute cafe in Europe. As for the drinks & food -- I ordered the orange juice, which tasted very natural and fresh, the color itself gave it away that it wasn't too processed, which I loved. Also got their scone, which was delicious, with the jam and clotted cream. Unfortunately, my sweet crepe was less than great. Honestly, the toppings and filling itself (I believe I got like a strawberry, banana, newtella one) were decent. But the crepe itself was not good -- it definitely missed the mark and was kind of dry. Disappointing given that it is a creperie. Given that the atmosphere was lovely and the food was decent, I would rate this place as pretty good. I'm hopeful that if I come again, my crepe will be better -- looking to try a savory one next!

Lisa V.

Yelp
Holy Moly. I'm so glad Yelp led us to this adorable little spot in Brooklyn during our stay in Manhattan recently. All the items we tried on this plant based menu/most definitely including the drinks, were creative, delicious and beautiful to look at! I have all kind of food intolerances and allergies that make being plant-based oh so challenging and annoying *LOL* But the gal who took our order was incredibly understanding and knew what to tell me to steer away from and gave me great recommendations. Not about the food, but I must say, the decor was SO appealing to me that I took several pictures and told my husband I wanted to incorporate some elements in our home too! Wonderful experience and 100% recommended!

Ange C.

Yelp
We did the outdoor dining option and they had heaters- so nice! Be mindful that seating is for about and hour or so, they have to turn over tables- so don't be a table hog! :-) Not picture: Ninja Juice- very delicious and what I needed to warm up on a cold Saturday.

Courtney B.

Yelp
Me and my daughter LOVE this place. An entire party in your mouth. She lives the Nutella crepes and I love the burrito with tofu scramble on the side. Been there twice this week, my new fave

Annalise I.

Yelp
Delightful brunch spot for vegans! And friends of vegans who are open to delicious things ;) Our group of 6 sat upstairs in a nicely decorated but dimly lit corner. We ordered a few Afternoon Teas - each shared by 2 people and entirely vegan. For $29 / split by 2 people, it's a good brunch deal IMO. Each set came with: - a savory crepe: we picked the Pizza Crepe with coconut bacon and mushrooms, which was simply divine. It was definitely large enough for two people. Highly recommend!! - a pot of tea: we picked "Justyna's Glowing Skin", a floral, fruity blend I couldn't get enough of. No effects on my skin as of yet - a large scone with jam and vegan clotted cream (texture of cream was a bit off, not my favorite) - 2 cookies: we picked Earl Grey and chocolate chip (chocolate chip was the winner for sure) - a fancy two-tiered plate to hold it all We tried bites of other savory crepes at our table. The Burrito Crepe was delicious but much too salty. The Room for Mushroom was also good but nothing memorable. My friend and I also ordered the PB&J Acai Bowl - so refreshing and fruity! I wish I had enough room in my stomach to eat more of it. Removing a star from an otherwise great experience because of the 3-4 giant flies circling our table. We asked our server if they could be removed; they said they had set up some fly traps, but didn't take any other action. I'll be back to try more amazing crepes, but try to dodge those flies (!!)

Shawhin M.

Yelp
Went the sweet route and had a newtella and banana crepe. It was delicious. The spot is cozy, with friendly staff and owner.

Honey B.

Yelp
The service was very very nice. Super Friendly with pets. Inside look very charming so cute definitely will go back to try the crepes.

Duex M.

Yelp
If you're one of those people who think that vegan and gluten free food is gross by default, don't go here because it won't change your mind! I you are vegan/gluten free by choice, don't go here because you will eat much better food (and have more pleasant company) at home! If you are vegan/gluten free because of dietary restrictions, don't go here because there are much better options not far away! TLDR; don't waste your money or time here.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Little Choc since 2016 and I can't believe it's even better than I remember! Their baklava crepe special was so delicious and unique, that you wouldn't even know it was vegan/gf. My friend got the vegan jackfruit crepe which was also a lovely savory option. We were there for brunch on the weekend, so mimosas were BOGO half-off. I also want to give a shoutout to our server, so was so lovely and definitely brightened up the entire experience :)

S L.

Yelp
Very pretty restaurant, had a good amount of space. The service was on point and the crepe were delicious.

Anastasia S.

Yelp
Because it's a vegan restaurant, I give it 3 stars and not 1. Horrible service. We were told the wait would be 30-40 min. We looked around, the place wasn't busy but decided to wait. 45 min later still no table. We came in to ask again and after some doubts were invited upstairs. I still don't understand why there was a wait or doubts when there were multiple tables available when we were finally given a table. We were a party of 3 and would have agreed to a small table if offered. We had to wait for 3 crepes and a drink for another hour, while again the restaurant wasn't at full occupancy. Food was average, the smoothie was good. Overall: Never again.

Yelp
2 for 1 happy hour cocktails is an amazing steal! We tried both the red and white sangria and the apple pie mimosa; they were all delicious and strong, but the mimosa was so unique and is definitely a must-try. The cocktails are $12, so essentially $6 a cocktail with the 2 for 1, which is unbeatable! We came around lunchtime on a Saturday and had no problem finding a seat. We sat by the open window on the first floor, but they also have plenty of seating upstairs as well as outside on the sidewalk.

Yelp
My friend and I got there around 10:30 and it looked like all the tables were reserved for later reservations. We were walk ins. They were able to seat 2 of us indoors. We ordered a savory crepe (burrito) and a sweet crepe (French toast) and we got 2 tickets to a movie premiere for ordering this crepe and a bunch of merchandise! What a fun treat. The food itself was fabulous--while it wasn't as elastic as a regular crepe might be, the difference was not that discernible. I also think anyone can enjoy this flavorful feast even if not vegan--I sure did!! Can't wait to go back here soon.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and loved it both times!! I'm also not a vegan -- and I still love this place!! The place itself is super cute and has both pick up and dine in options. Super nice staff! They also have a cute upstairs seating area :) Now for the food and drinks... MUST GET: -- Room for mushroom crepe: super savory and filling -- they are not skimping on the mushrooms!! I got this both times and loved it. -- Green of greens juice: so fresh and tasty (not too sweet, but didn't taste bitter like some green juices do!) -- Orange Tan: I actually don't really like orange juice but this was amazing -- you have to like ginger though! GOOD: -- Burrito crepe: really amazing hot sauce and flavors, but I felt like it was missing something (fresh tomato and cilantro maybe?) The coffee is also really good here!! Would definitely recommend :)

Yelp
I just went to Little Choc Apothecary and wanted to share my experience as it is still very fresh in my mind. It is March 5th, 2023. I had heard of this place many years ago, but had never gone before because I live in NJ, and honestly I would not drive across two rivers and pay tolls, just for a crepe. But it has always been on my radar. And today I was in the area having brunch at a restaurant near by earlier and looked up Little Choc, and it was just a block away, so finally I was so excited to go and have one of the famous crepes, as a sweet treat after brunch. (I only had a small kale salad, so a vegan crepe sounded amazing). I don't normally eat deserts and this was even extra special. I was with my husband and I was happy for him to try the crepes as well, since he is not a vegan. I have been a vegan for over 25 years and have always supported vegan businesses. This was a no brainer since I was in the area. So far so good. Super exciting! As soon as we got in, we were asked by a tall gentleman if we were ordering to eat-in or to-go. I said we'd have the crepes at the bar. He said "I'll take your order in 15 min". He said they had a "full house upstairs". I understand. I'm glad your restaurant is busy!! After a little more than 10min (close to 15), I told him to let me know when I can place my order. He said in about 15min (again). I said I'd already waited at least 10min (I'm sure it was more). He came to take our order in 10min or so. So, thus far we had been sitting at the bar about 25-30min to just place our order. Two crepes and a smoothie. In about 10min my smoothie was delivered to me. So, 40min since I stepped into the restaurant I finally had a smoothie to sip on. Was the wait worth it? No! Before my smoothie arrived I was honestly ready to just leave. But I had been there for close to 40min!!! Yes, that's a lot of wait for crepes. I'm sorry. I don't wait this long to get dinner. Period. We are not baking thick potato wedges. We are making paper thin crepes. After another 20 minutes, our crepes finally arrived. They were good. Yes, we ate them. But the wait killed the mood. 1 hour of wait time to eat two crepes is not worth it at all. I will definitely not be going back, even if I end up being in the area. By saying all this about the wait time, this does not mean I have no patience for the food to arrive. It's not my first time eating out. I hope this is understood and it was not only us who found the wait time unreasonable. While we waited, here is what else occurred: * 3 separate customers (each a pair) came and left because they were told they had to wait 30-35min for crepes. * A person who had placed a delivery order called and spoke to the tall gentleman concerned why the food had not yet been delivered. They were told the delivery man just left. Which was true, because we saw the whole thing. The delivery man was leaning on his motorcycle for at least 30min waiting for the food. * A customer who was seated upstairs came down to ask when their food was coming. * A young woman who came after us and was sitting at the bar, asked how long before her crepe arrives (right after ours were brought to us). She was told it was ready. I don't know how that happened, when she came at least 25min after we had arrived. I'm sure this review won't matter, since you are so popular. So, what's one not to flattering honest review?! But here are my suggestions based on what I saw today. 1. Your staff needs to speed up the crepe making process. Crepes should be made faster! They are making thin crepes which don't take long to cook. I saw three hot plates for crepes and one person AT A TIME making crepes!! Everything took forever. As if there is no sense of urgency at all. You either need two people to make crepes when you are busy or you need the staff to work faster. The staff did not seem happy, they looked overworked. And they looked like they didn't care to speed up the process. 2. You are losing business and customers. It's unreasonable amount of wait time (50min -60min) for crepes. I wish you continued success! We definitely need more vegan restaurants, bakeries, eateries, shops... Food - crepes were tasty. Our plating was not the best. Maybe the girls making the crepes didn't care to present them in the best way, if they heard our commenting how ridiculously slow it took for our crepes to arrive. Service - slooooooooow. Not worth the wait. Ambience - cute place. I took a look upstairs, however we ate at the bar. The tall gentleman was polite the whole time and so were we. I gave one star just because we liked the crepes. Again, not worth the wait, though.

Yelp
I used to work in the area and was able to come more often. I miss this charming place. Love the ambiance. I had few different crepes over the years; savory and sweet, and everything was so delicious. Also scones and cookies... absolutely yummy. And when you are there don't forget to have hazelnut mocha with homemade "newtella".

Yelp
Trying to eat healthier and gluten free so had to give this place a shot but it didn't go as expected. Let me say that the service was very friendly but it was the only positive thing about this place. First the cutlery and the glasses were far from clean. The menu is basically açaí bowls and crepes. $14 for a sweet crepe... $14!!! It's a crepe! Even vegan, it's insanely expensive. Every place with crepe usually charges $4 to $10 maximum for a sweet crepe! Açaí bowls were so watery... it was a soup. The granola was like eating pebbles. Felt like I chipped a tooth. Coffee had too much water as well. It's like they added hot water to an espresso. The friendly waitress asked us if we wanted anything else. Oh god please no! I don't understand all those 5 stars reviews!
