Little Creek Cove Beach Resort

This place is amazing. The lady in the office was so kind and helpful 5 stars on check-in alone. We stayed in the penthouse suite and it did not disappoint. My 4 kids, wife and I had plenty of room. Beautiful bathrooms with huge tubs and big showers. Had a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, plates and pretty much everything you need to cook with and eat with at the huge dining table. The couch is massive with a view you will love. Also it is a very short walk to the beach like 2 minutes and your there. I definitely would recommend

Excellent place for my first solo-trip! I stayed in a condo that had a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset every night and the sounds of the waves were very soothing. I was surprised to find that the condo had two balconies (one on each floor) so no matter which floor you were on you could get some fresh air and see the ocean. Everything in the room was clean and tidy, I loved the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom and the spacious king sized bed for relaxing. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the the condo is located up two flights of narrow wooden stairs, which is a bit tricky if you have mobility issues or a large dog that drags you around. However, they do have some rooms in the ground floor for those situations. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!

We will definitely stay here again. Check in was fast and efficient. Our Condo was super clean, housekeeping does a great job. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glassware, cooking utensils, corkscrew, the works. Bathroom had extra towels. Beds are comfortable. There were extra pillows and blankets. It was quiet except for occasional noise from another guest and a few times we could hear traffic on the highway. Beach access is adjacent to the property. There is about a foot of water to walk through to get to the beach due to the creek running along the front so either plan on rolling up your pants and getting your feet wet or bring tall boots. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend.

We just spent 4 days in room 123 and it was amazing!! They have added assistance with luggage if needed, what a blessing for us! My husband is a disabled vet so traveling is a lot on me. Having this new service we both were able to relax and enjoy! We have already scheduled our next stay!!

Had a wonderful stay in a studio room which surprisingly had a full kitchen! Great views and very friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated but very comfy bed which is all I care about...lol. Will definitely be back

We had an evening event at the aquarium and decided to try a non- franchised hotel for the night. We stayed in a ground floor studio. For a better price than the franchise hotel we got more space, a fireplace, and an awesome view! The unit needed a little updating but everything worked. If I had to ask for anything, it would be better pillows.

Our favorite place to stay on the Oregon Coast. The units are all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous ocean views and easy access for beach walks. We keep returning because it is an exceptional spot to stay!

The views and location are amazing (although during our time there little creek was running so heavy that we couldn’t get to the beach from the condos). We stayed 2 nights in a studio on the first floor right next to the roaring creek. The set up was ideal for 2 people, and we had enough space to not feel too crowded. Because of the weather, we enjoyed cozying up to the fireplace which was a lovely addition. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we appreciated they did have salt and pepper on hand. While the nightly price was very reasonable (and makes this place absolutely worth the money), the only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was that the studio we stayed in needed a little maintenance. Even though the bathroom could do with an upgrade, its ’as is’ state was a little less than stellar. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, and there were holes still left in the wall where a light fixture had previously been. There’s also a small light in a bedside lamp that needs a new lightbulb. If someone spent a few hours here, it would make a huge difference. We would not hesitate to stay here again as the positives far outweigh the little nitpicks we have.

Have stayed here many times over the decades and already thinking of when to come back. Every unit has an amazing view. Location location location

Everything went perfectly, staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was so nice, ocean was our front and center view and the waves lull you to sleep. Praying we get to come here again, could feel myself decompressing as soon as we walked in. Lots to do in every direction, enjoy

Little Creek Cove, as a whole, is amazing. I have stayed here twice. The staff are nice and accommodating. However, my two trips definitely differed in comfort. Both times I was in a studio. The number of the suite I LOVED was 103. So comfortable so inviting, clean, well maintained, the bed was wonderful, the room warm, bathroom and kitchen clean. A true get away. I found joy and peace here. The suite I am extremely dissatisfied with is 114. It is a Murphy bed, bad mattress, cheap decor, cold, and tiny water heater- shower got cold in 10 minutes. I did not feel comfortable or happy here. Moral of the story, location is amazing, staff is amazing, room quality varies highly.

This was our second stay at Little Creek Cove and we could not have been happier with our stay! We reserved last minute for an overnight getaway. We reserved Room 105 - a pet friendly unit that sleeps 4. Bedroom with king sized bed and hide-a-bed couch. We found our room clean, very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is a two level unit. Bedroom, bathroom, laundry room and closet with extra towels and games/puzzles downstairs. And a balcony! Upstairs is living room/dining area and small kitchen. Also another beautiful balcony. My one small complaint was the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. We are looking at our schedules to book a return trip (I'll bring my own pillow to make it a perfect stay). Beach access is a short drive or walk down the road.

The condos are individually owned and ours was decorated beautifully with a fireplace and a deep Jacuzzi tub. The views of the beach are breathtaking and the walks great too. Service from front desk Josh was excellent.

Our previous visit to Little Creek Cove was with our children about 1993. We loved the pet friendly ocean view setting, affordable pricing, clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet condos. This trip was for a three-night leisurely visit in room 110 with no children and our Golden Retriever, Bailey. The view overlooking the Creek and beyond out to the ocean was amazing through the patio doors. February is a bit chilly to enjoy the deck view. We used the gas fireplace and just relaxed, reading and watched the television. After ordering a disappointing take out from a local restaurant, (we remembered the fish & chips were much better last visit 30 years ago) we cooked the balance of our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Walmart, Fred Meyers and Safeway grocery stores are all conveniently located about a mile south on Highway 101. The studio room was a little tired, we were awoken the first night by a loud screeching bathroom wall heater fan that needed replacing. The bathroom sink area had been updated with shiplap and some very poor workmanship and there was an electrical outlet box next to the fireplace that was loosened from the wall and moved when unplugging the phone charger. None of the issues were major however, it appears building maintenance quality is not a high priority.

My family in Oregon showed us this place when we visited. We've been wanting to check this place out, as they would always send us photos and videos whenever they'd stay there. We finally got the opportunity to stay for a night and let me tell you.... I wish we would've stayed the entire week! This was like a true beach house vibe. Multi level, balcony had a stunning view of the ocean, close to eateries and the grocery store, gas stations etc. The unit itself is a bit outdated but clean and spacious... has everything you need whether you bring takeout or cook your own food. It's fully stocked with everything you need to cook/Eat/drink etc. Where it shines is the easy private access you have to the beach! Super convenient and less crowded. We spent hours at the beach and had a good time playing cards, eating, etc when inside the unit. We'll definitely return anytime we're in town but stay for at least a few nights to really enjoy the property and it's surroundings.

The most delightful, creative floorplan, taking advantage of the views. Fireplace was ideal was weather was rainy and windy. Hence balcony porch was unusable. Would love to return in the sun! Unit was immaculate - even two long stemmed roses

Such a fun little hotel! We stayed in a studio for a night and it was perfect. We could walk to the beach, which we did on our second morning. It's also in a nice part of town with a lot of places nearby to eat and go out. I would be aware to call the desk and ask about accessibility if that's something you require, since the whole place has lots of steps and unpaved areas. Overall, it was clean, the shower had good water pressure, the bed was comfy, and had good heating! I would definitely recommend coming here :)

Just stayed at the brand new hotel. Wow, what a wonderful hotel . The room was great. Staff are wonderful . We had a great sushi dinner. We had a wonderful time. I cannot wait to go back . Please tell the staff they are doing a great job!!

Definitely would not recommend! The pictures were taken the day of checkout making sure we didn't forget anything. We complained and showed pictures and apparently 20% should be good enough for how disgusting we felt after finding all this. The reservation was wrong and still after four days we haven't seen a refund for the extra days we were charged!

Gorgeous view from our room! Cozy fireplace, beach access (including rubber boots to use to cross the creek), and updated, clean rooms. We hope to return and stay longer next time.

Nothing works in these condos. Online they said it was a queen size bed when it was not it was a full size. Coffee maker didn't work, fireplace didn't work stovetop didn't work. It was a very disappointing stay and it was the last.

I reserved room 103, which is a nice room with great views. I was looking forward to staying there since I have stayed at this hotel many times before and I knew that was a good room. However, when I arrived and checked in, I found they had moved me to room 106. It's an okay room, but doesn't have to amazing views and it wasn't what I had reserved a week ago. The man who checked me in didn't know why that happened and said there wasn't anything he could do about it. He gave me a $20 discount, but that hardly mattered. I have the confirmation email that shows I booked 103. No one contacted me to let me know something was up beforehand. I was very disappointed and angry and I still am. I have been coming here for years and have recommended it to many others. No more.

Update to Mark: 1.) Learn to spell, people will take you more serious in your professional career. But I see they hired you at a first grade writing level. 2.) With the way you reply, speaks a lot for your condos lol. They got a handicap running it and replying to comments after the office hours are "closed". 3.) If only you actually helped customers then maybe you wouldn't have 1 star reviews. Instead you're replying to comments from over 2 years ago. Should've fixed the issue when it happened clown‍ THEY KEEP/STEAL YOUR ITEMS. I would give O stars if I could. After checking out I noticed that I left my school's laptop there on accident and when I called, they confirmed that they had it and would be shipping it back to me. However it's been over a month now and every time I call it's the same story, "We just shipped it out today". Now a month later, still no laptop, paying back my school, and the same run around story when I call. TERRIBLE PLACE.

READ FULL REVIEW! Outdated! Steep stairs! Remodel of old building, stayed in 123 and a constant humming noise all night! Good View.. That's it! Toilets are still mounted on wall from early 20th century FRONT DOOR WOULD NOT STAY SHUT unless you slammed it real hard shaking the whole stairway! No return calls from management at 3 pm. Bed is flat & older but new hide-abed in living room. They say fully virtual "yes" I'd say so! Say it's " pet friendly " then signs everywhere "No Potty" Walk ankle high creek to get to beach! They should charge accordingly ( $90 a night ) then I would give 5 stars‍ Only stay if you have no other option

What an amazing find. The only sad part was that I couldn't stay longer. I had a lovely cottage with everything I needed and more. Beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the grounds and the ocean. The tub in the bathroom was lovely, the bed was so comfy and I really enjoyed this place.

Stayed March 2022. Tried to contact the manager/owner multiple times via phone and also via email (at the suggestion of the girl that ran the main phone line) regarding problems the first night of my stay. I never received a call or email response. Front desk couldn't offer any help other than to say that the manager isn't good at returning calls or remembering to, hence the suggestion to email. That sums up my stay.. will not be going back. If I can't even receive a call or email back, what else is happening there?? Uncomfortable living and sleeping spaces (chairs, couch and beds). Random toilet in the CLOSET in one bedroom.. maybe they tried to save some space? I would not stay here again. Hands down, the absolute worst part is the lack of respect/care/acknowledgement from the owner/manager.

This was a great place to stay. It was in walking distance to Agate Beach. The unit and decor were a little dated but the layout and view made up for it. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We usually stay in Lincoln City when we go to the coast but decided to try Newport this time. Found this wonderful place and we are so glad we decided to stay here. Beautiful ocean view and a cozy room complete with a fireplace. We stayed in one of the studio units and it was the perfect size for the weekend. It was great having a complete kitchen. We will definitely stay again.

So, the business manager says we discussed this. That is absolutely not true. I knew nothing of a water main break hours before my arrival. All I was told was that there was nothing they could do about my room being changed. And so far the charges for the room are still pending on my bank account. No one ever said I would be refunded. It was just a $20 discount. Why not just tell the truth? Your responses are outright lies! I never had this discussion with you.

Clean, NO person to person contact needed or wanted during Covid-19. Full kitchens, balcony, awesome friendly staff! Definitely worth your time to take a visit and stay here a night or a few. Each room is privately owned and decorated. Our condo had two floors, two balconies, a couple guest books to sign, lots of family board games, a small but full kitchen, books, movies, a gas fireplace, a great view, and NO hand soap :/ !! (They didn't leave any hand soap haha) !! I advise to pack your own just in case. Check out time is noon so plenty of "sleep in" time.. check it out!! It's a cool place

This place is so cozy, quaint and comfortable. Very nice room . The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean. Quiet, peaceful and well-maintained beautiful grounds with a perfect view of the ocean shore. The only thing that I might suggest is putting a fan in the room. We will definitely be back.

Lucky enough to get a reservation last minute on a busy weekend. We were in room 110 studio condo. They were very friendly when they called ahead to confirm and give us check in instructions. Easy no contact check in process with access code. Clean room with fully loaded kitchen and large bathroom/closet area. Easy walk to the beach. Will definitely be back!!

I've never written a review before for a hotel, but I feel compelled to warn others about this place. My gf and I stayed in unit 130 for a weekend. The bathroom and kitchen were immaculate and the view and location were incredible. We arrived late in the evening on a Friday and didn't analyze the place from top to bottom at that time and we expected a good stay. However upon waking up the next morning my throat was really sore. This was a pretty big red flag. We left the condo at about 11am and made sure that the "do not disturb" sign was not on the door so that our condo would be cleaned. We came back that evening and our condo hadn't been cleaned. Hmmm. Ok, I guess. Remembering the red flag from earlier I start inspecting the place now that I have some time. There were pretty bad stains on the carpet. I was willing to excuse this as people probably bring pets and kids to the beach and people are probably dirtier than usual. Looking at the bedroom with all the lights on revealed a TON of dust. The top of the TV had been dusted recently, but the top of the headboard had weeks, perhaps months worth of dust on it. I pulled back the mattress from the headboard and there was a MOTH that was at least 1" in width just chilling in between the headboard and mattress. I never would have believed it unless I saw it for myself. The baseboard on either side of the bed had months' worth of dust on it. It was filthy. I snapped a few pictures and took a video of the moth. I tried calling the office and after-hours numbers that the hotel office had left but no one answered (it was after 10pm). The next morning, upon checking out, I showed everything that I found to the manager and he was very polite and apologetic and offered to comp the room without me asking. I would not stay here again without inspecting the room beforehand, it was easily the filthiest hotel/condo I've ever stayed in.

I called to cancel my reservation a few hours after the 24 hour deadline. My mom died. No one answered. I called multiple times. DAYS PASSED before someone answered the phone. I explained, they took messages and would have the manager call me. Nothing. I kept trying, emails, messages and now it's been a month. No one ever had the decency to return my calls. My mother died for goodness sake! Terrible customer service. So sad.

We stayed in the top unit #130 Sunset Vista, up all those glorious stairs nicknamed 'stairway to heaven'. Yes, there are a lot of stairs and you will be winded, but if you are in decent shape it won't matter. The hardest part was getting the luggage up the stairs and then some groceries, but it's a challenge that is a good workout! I have seen some people give these units a bad review because they are 'dated', but we found that to be all the charm! After a month long cross US roadtrip, it was so refreshing to stay at a place that didn't feel like a chain hotel. Every unit is unique and feels very 'lived in'. Besides, the rates are reflecting that you have direct beach access and a wonderful view, not how modern the units are! #130 opens to a foyer with a few stairs that go up to the living room/kitchen and a few stairs that go down to the bedroom and bathroom. It felt super spacious and cozy like home. The guest book had so many return guests that signed it, which was so nice to see. Everything worked just fine. We walked along the sand dunes and the beach every day! We were there in August and the dunes were super high and it was quite windy! We did have to wear a hoodie and jacket on the beach. Our parents have been going to Little Creek Cove for decades and we are so happy we are continuing the tradition.

A beautiful location, excellent beach located close by. I would recommend an upper floor, noise travels thru the walls and floors. We had to ask a family with young children staying in the condo above us to quiet down, which was a negative for all. The condo was very clean and modern, in excellent working condition, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and serving a full meal. The staff was courteous and helpful, good knowledge of the area, places to eat, shop and see. A good place to relax and enjoy the ocean.

This place was recommended by a wonderful woman we met on the plane on our flight to Oregon. We never would have located or chosen it had she not been so sure it was the best accommodations in Newport. It's not in the "touristy" part of town, it's hidden on the north side of town down a steep ravine and has little if any signage. Had we not been looking for it we never would have seen it. If that doesn't make you want to stay then let me tell you a few other reasons. The rooms were very inexpensive for what you get. We paid about $90 for a condo (all are privately owned and different in decor). They have queen beds - most are Murphy beds - full (and fully stocked) kitchens and baths with actual tubs! All have remote fireplaces and private balconies with views of the ocean (see my photo). The little pond just outside our sliding glass patio door had a family of ducks with 7 or 8 ducklings we watched for most of the morning. We were steps away from the beach and had it not been pouring down rain the entire stay we would have surely taken advantage of that. The staff was terrific, the rooms clean and comfortable, the lack of touristy #1 on my "yes" list! No gym, no early morning maid service pounding on your door or noisy halls or kids running around. Just a wonderful, quiet, beautiful place to relax on the long drive up 101 back to Portland from Ashland. We're coming back and staying a week! They said they had wi-fi but I never logged on. The view was better than checking my email.

This is a gem in hiding. We stayed in a wonderful 2 bedroom unit that had a beautiful and restful view of the beach and the dunes. The pretty sand dunes are created in summer, they later disappear according to the locals due to the wave action during the other months. From our deck, we could see the lighthouse and coastline and it was magnificent. The units are fully furnished with pots and pans and a coffee maker - we stopped at the Fred Meyer a few minutes away and bought some staples for breakfast but basically ate out the rest of the time since Newport has many options for eating. The parking is first come, first served but there were enough stalls. You do have to register your car to park. Our unit had a King bed and a second one with two twins. 1.5 bathrooms made for an easy stay for the four of us. 16 steps led up to the unit from the parking and we were overlooking the beach. Very relaxing stay. Kathy at the front desk was really helpful to us for directions and other info. We would go back again!

I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Newport. It was a great location and set up for our little family. Our toddler loved the beach and the view was spectacular. After looking at many Airbnb's a d hotels this place had the best value for the space and we were extremely happy with it.

Little Creek Cove is a great place to stay on our coast trips. We've been here three times and always enjoyed it. The ocean views are great, and it takes a few brief minutes of strolling to get your feet in it. These are not brand new units, but they are nicely furnished and comfortable. The only abnormality we've seen was ladybugs in one, but they're harmless and the staff was working on the problem. You'll probably enjoy upstairs units more, but the ground floor unit we stayed on for our second visit was nice too. The review giving it two stars for lack of coffee was silly. There are tons of great places for really good coffee around Newport, so it's pretty ridiculous to demerit a place for not having it. Our units have had coffee anyway. Maybe people who can live five minutes without it have better vision? I don't know what else to say. The units we've been in here all have provided a great stay in a really nice part of the coast. If you're not from Mendecino or wherever, you'll probably really enjoy little creek cove.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was beautifully decorated and every need anticipated. The staff was helpful and friendly. Location was outstanding and the view from the room was breathtaking. Beach access and lovely grounds. We had an amazing get away and will definitely be returning.

This was our 2nd time staying at LCC and we will be back again. It is located 2 miles south of Newport's downtown and just off Hwy 101 making it a nice "out of the way" place to stay. In fact, if you learn the "backroads," you can drive all the way to the old historic district and even make your way to the bridge to head towards further adventuring south. We typically go for runs while in Newport and access to the beach is easy from LCC. You can pop out on the beach and head south to Agate or Nye Beach or Don Davis Park or even all the way down to Yaquina Bay State Rec Area. It really is an ideal location for a place to stay. We upgraded our stay from last time to take a room with a separate bedroom. Our first time we stayed in a studio. We will definitely stay in the larger rooms again. They are located at the top of the units so you get great views, you get two decks and the Wifi seemed to work better. When we did have a problem, the staff were responsive, friendly and professional.

This was our 3rd stay at Little Creek Cove after discovering it on accident last summer. This year it was the only place we felt comfortable visiting due to COVID-19, with the fact that all units are completely self-contained and there was no interaction with staff or other guests. It's a beautiful, quiet and private spot with well-equipped full kitchens, cozy furnishings and views to die for. That's what we've been coming back for, but unfortunately on this most recent visit, the historic Oregon winds and wildfires took over our stay. We woke up to a beach covered in thick smoke and ash, which we'd just been enjoying the day before. I'm an asthmatic, and as soon as I woke up to burning eyes and a closing-up throat, I knew we'd have to cut our stay short. I called the front desk as soon as they opened to advise them of our early departure, and without asking any questions they immediately apologized for the weather (obviously not their fault!!!) and offered a refund for our lost night without even being asked. This level of service is harder and harder to come by in any industry, but knowing how gracious LCC is in the face of so many issues facing travelers, makes me know I'll come back for many years to come, no matter what issues may arise. The combination of quality condos, unbeatable location and generous service is rare, and we've found it here. Thank you, LCC! We're so happy to have found you.

Above and beyond any experience we have ever had in a vacation rental. It has everything you could want and more! The views are stunning and we feel right at home. Shops are just a 5 min drive away and the beach is a 2 min walk away. A dream come true. We never want to leave!

This is our family's favorite place to stay when we come to Newport! The beach is perfect, the condos are spacious and always clean. The location is very convenient and it's 5 minutes from everything. We've been coming here for seven years and we love it. I would recommend this to anyone!

A hidden gem. Perfect for a visit including candles on the dining table to use, fireplace, and scope to view the distant ocean. We will be back.

Awesome place to stay, pvt condos, either studio, 1 or 2 BD rooms, very cozy, all rooms have fire place & pvt balcony, all have ocean view, steps to beach, pvt creek runs through property w/ ducks & geese, nice staff, we stayed in 6 different rooms, reasonable for Newport coast, no pets, suggested, BUT.... No room service, no work out gym, no conference center, staff leaves at 8pm, (see my review on Hallmark hotel).

Stayed two nights for the eclipse. It was perfect. Love the view from the balcony, the fully stocked kitchen, fireplace. The bed was cozy. Kids were comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Right on the beach. Check in was easy and friendly. They had sand toys for the kids.

Loved this place. Steps away from the beach, cute, comfy bed and furniture. Fully stocked kitchen but also close to several great restaurants. Very private and quiet. Will return to enjoy the beach again!

Two words - Murphy Bed. We made a reservation here for a room with a queen bed. We arrive and learn for the 1st time that our bed was a MURPHY BED! And it was not queen sized! It was a double and VERY uncomfortable! Like an old fold-out couch in someone's basement. Further, the floors are thin because we could hear the kids above us running around. So a terrible night's sleep. In addition, You can't access the ocean because of the river. The shower was nice.

Our unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the view was superb. We stayed two nights, and did get a deal on the second night. The only downside for us is that there are a lot of stairs to climb and descend, and when one is older, this can be a problem. Otherwise an OK place.

Just stayed at this fantastic little place. Its easy to get to right in Newport. Great view and nice and clean. Little kitchen and table for romantic dinners. Have already booked my room for next year's Wine and Seafood Festival.

Great place at a great price. Quiet and away from city noise. Watched whales from our room. Best place I've ever stayed at.

This is an update to my review of 9/6/2012 - on 10/14/20120 management re-posted their previous comment to my review. Management has not contacted me privately to discuss my issues. From my perspective, there isn't much to discuss - my husband and I just don't think the unit we stayed in was worth the price we paid.

Little Creek Cove is the best! It is comfortable and quaint, with a gorgeous view of the ocean from all rooms. I cannot believe that it hasn't been reviewed more on yelp. My husband and I have tried staying at other places on the Oregon Coast, but we keep returning to Newport mostly because we enjoy our time so much at LCC. Each room is different, and each is stocked with bedding and dishes, and in a lot of rooms books, games and DVDs. If you're a couple traveling you can stay in a studio, if you are bringing multiple family members they have 1 or 2 bedroom units. It is not touristy, it does not have a swimming pool or gym, but it is the perfect home away from home. And it is right on the beach! Perfect!
