I come here most Mondays with the 3 year old I watch. I’ve had the best experience each time! They are so friendly and accommodating towards her and she loves coming here and trying new treats. Freshly baked goods and so many options for you to choose from, honestly my favourite bakery in Brooklyn. You can tell the store is well managed, she’s super kind always takes the time to interact with customers. Picture attached is the carrot cake. So moist and good! Highly recommend!

I was dying to try the Brooklyn Blackout and Strawberry Shortcake, I was finally able to make it in and I was not disappointed. They definitely live up to hype. They are a bit pricey but so worth it!! The lady behind the counter also recommended I try the dreaming princess and Mott street slice, I’ll definitely be back for those.

It is super moist and you will eat the whole thing! BLACK and WHITE CAKE: this is just exactly like the cookie, so good and moist! STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: taste amazing strawberry, moist and not that sweet. SOUTHERN RED VELVET: one of my fave! The moist red velvet and not that sweet cream cheese frosting is just perfect! CONFETTI CAKE: if you eat this it feels like your birthday! Lol so good! DOUBLE CHOCOLATE: typical chocolate cake but very good. TIRAMISU: so good, there is a kick of coffee! BLUE VELVET CAKE: delicious blue velvet with fresh blueberry inside! Price rating: 6/10, the price matches all the deliciousness! Been here multiple times and definitely coming back for more! Get my recommendation and you definitely will come back! But get the banana Nutella! Lol

Are y’all still making your old recipes? Have they changed or have we changed? Your strawberry shortcake cupcake was the best of the three (hostess and BK blackout were the other two) and that’s saying something. Is this box mix or is this homemade? Blackout and hostess were dry. The frosting old and artificial. I’m sad. I wish cupcakes were still a thing.

Easily one of my top 3 cafes. Ive been to other locations but the Vanderbilt store is by far my favorite. Morning or night it’s always a good vibe. I stopped in for the Nutella cheesecake and was sad it’s out of season but there were plenty of options. I went for the hostess and key lime bar 10/10. Everything looked so good. The staff was very friendly. All of my questions were answered about the cakes. I spoke with the manager who is also one of the decorators so I was very confident with the information she gave as I have allergies . The lady with the tattoos, I’m sorry I forget her name (Alice?) but she was also very knowledgeable and nice. Looking forward to ordering a cake with them soon!

Couldn’t be more disappointed in this bakery. The cupcake was half melted and tiny compared to the others. When asking for recs the workers barely had any patience to advise me since it was my first time. The cupcake also lacked flavor and was sad looking. I also asked for a box to go and was advised that they don’t do that and I must purchase another cupcake. I even offered to pay for the box but got a kick back. Very bizarre.

I came here 2 times after reading the reviews. I tried different cakes. I love a couple of them, such as red velvet cupcakes, original cheesecake, and key lime pie. Others are super sweet. The icing is extremely over sweet, and they will definitely give you diabetes. Like young people. The price is not cheap here but the cake tastes fresh so i don't mind about the price too much. Staff are friendly doing their job. I will come back after the overall experience.

Cute shop, cakes are displayed so beautiful. I had a cheesecake and a coconut cake and both delicious although icing on cake a little too sweet. Cold brew is pretty good also. A little over priced but worth the treat

The cupcakes were outstanding Very Highly recommended And the cappuccino was fantastic. Service was excellent very polite and friendly.

I ordered 6 cupcakes this afternoon to serve to guests. They were a concession to one of the guests who might not enjoy the plum torte I baked. I paid $40 to have them delivered. The delivery did not go well. As you can see they used the wrong size box. Putting crumpled paper between the rows might have kept them upright during the bike ride over here. When I called to complain the guy said, "once they leave the shop we are no longer responsible for them. You'll have to take it up with DoorDash." Then the jerk told me to have a nice day. I'd rather take it up with the public. The cupcakes might taste good but if you have them delivered they could look like hell. Pick them up. What a jerk.

A friend at work treated me to a tasty slice of heaven, from Little Cupcake Bakeshop. It was my first time having any of their sweet treats. She bought me a slice of three layer cake called Coconut Cloud. It was really fluffy and moist. The vanilla frosting and coconut filling had just the right amount of sweetness. My cake slice, served in a cute pink box was large enough to split into two portions. I just polished off the other half of my slice with a cup of tea. I've passed Little Cupcake Bakeshop several times and never had the chance to stop inside. I'm gonna make time now. There's a banana, Nutella cake that she showed me from her phone while she was there. It looked really good. Trying that kind next!

Shoutout to the amazing staff at this location. I walked in on a weeknight and the line was out the door. They were super attentive friendly and patient with smiles on their faces and took care of my order promptly. I come here for one thing and one thing only: the Brooklyn Blackout slice. Rich moist chocolate cake with layers of chocolate pudding tastefully adorned with chocolate buttercream. It hits everytime!

Came here for the first time to see what the hype was about. We had the strawberry shortcake and the blackout cake. They did say this is where you get the best blackout cake and it did not disappoint it was very good. The strawberry shortcake on the other hand was not impressive. I found the slice to be dry not moist. The service was good very friendly. The ambiance very cute paris bakery chic decor.

The rudeness of the staff is unmatched to follow there policies. It's unreal if you buy a pastry they won't give you a box they won't even let you buy one. They don't give a crap about customers. Things have changed so much. So sad to have managers in place with no power. Not to mention dry cake. Goodbye cupcakes bake shop.

Worst customer service ever tonight!! Guy with the head wrap looked irritated and pissed that he had to help me at 10pm. (I was the only one in the store BTW) The eye rolling was definitely not needed when I asked for a slice of pumpkin spice cake. Then I asked for a s'mores bar with more eye rolling. I didn't even bother to ask for more stuff and just went to pay. And you're welcome for making the purchase. I can tell you this, last night, 11/18, I went to your other store on 3rd and the 2 young ladies that helped me at 9:15pm was amazing! Ended up spending $60 in there. I'd rather go back to that store instead.

Great service! The Brooklyn blackout cake is more on the drier side, and I prefer a more fudgey cake.

I found a jewel in Brooklyn. The german cake and the peanut butter cookie were amazing. I will definitely return.

I love love love love this goodies shop i mean every time i get a sweet tooth this is the first place in mind they all multiple locations in Ny and i have been to most of them multiple time and i highly recommend each location . This location is the closest to me because i live in Long Island. I love that the open early as well because sometimes my sweet took starts for breakfast lmao. But if your going to stop by here i absolutely recommend the strawberry crunch cake they have my favorite it's a must and on top of the the blackout chocolate cake the carrot cake the banana pudding like i literally loves all the other stuff too but these are at the top top top of my list . I have multiple pictures attached for you guys to make ur mind up but make sure you go :) :)

I was craving a slice of chocolate cake for the longest time and on my way to the post office, I decided to give into temptation. It wasn't that hard considering the sweetest cloud of sugar wafted towards my direction the moment I entered the shop. My plans to get only a cupcake dissolved quickly as I started to drool over their selection of cakes. The staff was really nice and one of them took the time to show me through all their cakes and I ended up getting a slice of their award-winning Brooklyn Blackout ($8.25) and their Coconut Cloud ($8.25). The Brooklyn Blackout was delicious and rich and decadent without being too sweet, which was a feat because my biggest complaint with a lot of traditional American cakes is that they are too sweet for my preference. They use Dutch-process cocoa and the cakes are sandwiched between layers of ganache and covered in a chocolate buttercream. It hit all the spots and managed to stay moist over the course of the three days I spent eating this. Their Coconut Cloud ($8.25) uses their golden vanilla cake base with a coconut filling that was like silky pudding and a light and airy meringue icing. I thought it was a fantastic cake and although it was a little too sweet for my tastes due to the meringue icing, I really liked how soft and fluffy the cake was.

Decided to come here for a quick dessert after seeing how cute the outside of the bakeshop looked. It was so difficult ordering anything because there were so many different good options that I wanted to try! My friend and I settled on the blueberry cheesecake and the smores bar. They were both so delicious. The smores was gooey on the inside and nice and had crisp on the outside. Wish I could have bought more and taken more home with me! The environment was really cute as well and I could see myself coming here often:)

The cupcakes I ordered were good and fresh only complaint is I ordered 6 and when u requested no sprinkles they could not make that request unless I ordered at least a dozen. I've ordered cupcakes from so many states and never had this problem and I didn't see it as anything way out of the way for the owner to do. I would have given the bakery 5 stars but only 3 bcuz of the sprinkles issue

Cute little cafe in bayridge. Delicious treats and great dessert to bring to a party. The staff is very helpful. There is some seating if you wanted to sit for an afternoon cupcake.

Needed cupcakes for a work event and my go to for special cupcakes had recently relocated :( I found Little Cupcake Bakeshop on Yelp in my neighborhood! We had frequented their Bay Ridge location ages ago, when my kids were small, so I was very excited to find them closer to home! There was a large variety of tempting treats to choose from - beautiful and tasty - and everyone at the office was very pleased! In addition, they had several gluten free and vegan options so I was able to grab some treats for family members that often can't find the treats that meet their dietary needs and both options were given double thumbs up!(There was a vegan AND gluten free option, too!)

Horrible customer service!! Said hello to person behind counter she mumbled... what I do not know.. So not friendly... considered leaving.. I didn't I promised my son cupcakes. Will not return.

Dry, just very dry cake. And expensive! I was disappointed because people have been hyping this place up. Definitely not impressed and will not be back. I really hope the standards improve in their recipes, you can't charge people that much and have a product that doesn't match.

I've had other cakes from LCB in the past which were fine, but I had a very poor experience at this particular location. I came in around 10 PM to get a slice with my friend, and got the Tiramisu slice which was advertised as having a cream cheese frosting. You'd think it'd be tangy and fluffy especially to imitate the mascarpone whipped topping tiramisu has, but the frosting was THICK and so so aggressively sweet, I thought it was buttercream. The coffee soak also didn't permeate the layers of the cake well, so it was incredibly dry and crumbly without any frosting. I asked the people working if it was cream cheese, and they said that it was. I said it didn't taste like it (or even remotely balanced or good) and I got the slice solely for that since I don't care for buttercream. They then tasted the cake on their own and said that it indeed was cream cheese frosting and that "different bakers have different recipes/ratios for the cakes" so it was sweeter than usual. Wtf? Talk about quality control... I just stood there awkwardly, but no one offered any solution or offered a replacement slice, which I thought was very odd. I would have asked myself but they all seemed very over it & like they didn't care so nothing would have happened anyways. It was especially disappointing considering their slices are like $8-9. That's NOT cheap. I ended up giving a slab of the "cream cheese" icing to my friend since her strawberry shortcake slice had virtually no icing and was dry, and I threw the rest of my slice in the trash. I'd recommend Brooklyn Cupcake or Sweets For The Sweeties 10000x over Little Cupcake Bakeshop if you're looking for a cupcake spot in BK to support. Their stuff is SO good and is never dry and customer service is on point. I definitely won't be back, and this has definitely soured my perspective of the Little Cupcake Bakeshop brand overall.

i love the mini cheesecakes. i always get the cookies & cream, tiramisu & white chocolate raspberry. the service is good whenever i go in there. the storefronts are a cute bakery vibe. i wish the website was better, definitely hope that's in the works soon.

DO IT. This bakeshop has had me returning days in a row. The Nutella Banana cake and the cookie dough cake are to die for. Moist, unique, and perfect balance of flavors! The banana pudding and cheesecake is amazing too. The service is also attentive and insightful. They can definitely help you pick something of the many options. They've earned a lifelong customer!

The lemon cake is SOOOO good, and the key lime cheesecake was great as well. The weak point in my opinion is the cookies, they were not great. Staff is helpful and nice, and the shop itself is really cute. Will come back frequently for their [very] sweet treats. They also have ice cream!

Possibly the best slice of confetti birthday cake I've ever had. A slice of a 3 layered cake so, it was huge. Before settling in on cake decisions, the staff gave the run down on the available pastries. A little surprised birthday cake was an option. (Shout out to the birthday cake connoisseurs. Rare and few but strong). Most cake shops offer a range of chocolate or strawberry sweets but I'm a fan of neither. Smooth check out. The place also felt very festive. Definitely on my rotating list.

Very good coconut cake. Wife and I enjoyed it very much. Nice selection of cakes and little cheese cakes. Hard to not buy a lot!

Love something sweet! A slice of cake or a cupcake is my preference over ice cream any day. This Bakeshop, made famous by Sex in the City holds its own without the hype. The cakes are moist and rich in flavor; the icing delicious without being super sugary. There are always a lot of cakes to choose from and flavors of cupcakes. Love the vanilla with salted caramel icing, such a treat! There is typically a line and most of the cafe tables inside occupied as they are located in a very lively intersection with Madewell next door and a fab pizza shop across the street. Always stop in when I'm in the City!

The cakes/cupcakes here are great! My personal favorite is the carrot cake but I've had a bunch of other ones (like strawberry shortcake and red velvet) and they've all been good. Not too sweet and they always taste fresh even when I stop by later in the day. I also love how they're one of the few bakeries that are open late at night. The only downside is that the cake slices can be pricy but at least the slices are fairly big.

Consistently excellent and unique pastries. I will go out of my way to come here. Recommend everything I have, but I really like the carrot cake, cupcake.

I've gotten cupcakes from here before that I really enjoyed, but this last order was a bit disappointing. I actually ordered the cupcakes to be delivered, and they were prepared quickly and arrived on time. But the cake itself was dry. I still enjoyed the flavor - they are sweet, but not at the expense of flavor. Red velvet was my favorite. Just wish they were a little more consistent on the moistness.

My kind of bakery. it has rich and decadent desserts. Ton of great cake slices - carrot cake, confetti birthday, coconut cloud, nutella banana, chocolate cake, etc. Multiple layered giant slices that sell for 8 dollars which is fairly reasonable. They sell an assortment of other things obviously cupcakes, mini cheesecake rounds, dessert bars, croissants and such. As a person that likes really sweet things this place is perfect. My partner who has a sweet tooth but more mild felt like everything was a tad heavy which is understandable. I love the indulgence of it all and will be back if i'm in the area.

I've reportedly tried to place an order here and been unable to. There's no designation for the line and relies entirely on the staffs attention to who's coming in first etc. At least 5 or 6 times I've entered the store to find more employees behind the counter than customers and still get skipped by the oblivious disinterested employees.

The reason they are getting 3 stars is due to service. I initially attempted to go to the bakery in Bergen but they were closed so I was looking for something else in the area and I found this shop and walked in. I wasn't greeted by the cashier ...she just came near the space I was standing and stared. I didn't think much of it...just thought maybe she's having a bad day. I ended up getting a slice of German chocolate cake, a slice of confetti cake, a vanilla bean cupcake and a red velvet cupcake. She forced it all in one box and told me my total. I paid then went to a table to sit down and wait for my Uber. A white male came in and she greeted him by welcoming him in the store...she made suggestions...told him if he's not eating it today he could refrigerate it and also asked if he wanted separate boxes for the two items he got. I thought to myself wow...she does have personality. So either she's a bit bias because I am black or she was just being flirtatious because a male came in. Either way I didn't enjoy the experience and will try them again just not that particular location.

For a solid piece of cake that could feed you for two desserts, little cupcake Bakeshop is a great bakery. Their cakes and other baked goods are fresh and satisfying. The one drawback is that while they give out huge slices of cake, they're not cheap. If you come here, just expect to pay more than $7 for any dessert. I personally think it's worth it, but if you're looking for a cheap dessert, this is not it. They do have lots of tasty flavors though. I can't imagine anyone NOT finding something they'd enjoy here. Considering the serving sizes are so large and deserts are so rich here I think I could only come by with a group, but it's still a fun place! Oh and it smells wonderful, as expected from a bakery.

Love this place. So many cupcake shops I've tried in the city have really been let downs but this place has delicious baked goods. I go out of my way to stop in anytime I'm in BK. Cake is moist and delicious and not too sweet, my favorite cake spot in NYC!

This place is NOT wuzzup. The place is cute for kiddies. But the cake is dry and juvenile in flavor. I will not be back. Also if u must try it - go the cupcake route. The slices are $8 and up. Not worth it. I had strawberry shortcake. Sigh.

My husband was craving sweets so we stopped in here. Everything SMELLED amazing. I ended up buying two cheesecakes, a key-lime bar and a strawberry short-cake. All were delicious. It's kind of hard not to want to buy everything in the store. The staff was very friendly an helpful as well. Definitely will come back.

Food 50/50 Strawberry cake: Dry tooooooo sweet! The rotating order may have something to due with it. Coconut Dream: Spot on! Moist in the middle, the way it should be. Icing fluffy with coconut flakes. Made well. Brooklyn Blackout: Did not try it yet. Having it in the office with coffee tomorrow. Slices are between 8-10 dollars. They also sell cupcakes in the above mentioned. Espresso bar: Gourmet drinks hot or cold. Cashier blocked with plexi glass. To the right is a fridge & condiment Table. Atmosphere: Small location with lots to offer. Eat before you come other wise it will spoil tour meal time. The goodies come in a pink box Staff All women ready to help & explain the cakes to you. Thanks for your help girls! Small place with minimum seating.

Had an urge for some sweetness and Little Cupcake Bakeshop was the right fix! Went into the shop and there was several yummy desserts to choose from. There's cakes, pudding, brownies, cupcakes, etc. I devoured their delicious vanilla confetti cake. It took me 2 days! It's SUPER SWEET! The slice of cake has icing on the top, middle, and in between! Crazy! I would definitely want to try their other treats! I was a bit disappointed that they're called the "cupcake" bakeshop but had more cake options than cupcakes.

I've had cakes from here before but never wrote a review. I didn't remember the experience which is usually a sign I didn't enjoy the place much . On this most recent occasion however , I wanted to write it to remind myself of how ordinary their cake is . I ended up getting two cupcakes on my last visit . Red velvet and blackout . At the blackout almost immediately and thought it sucked . The cake erred on the dry side than the moist side . It was also too sugary and sweet whilst offering little depth in savoriness . The frosting tasted cheap and just not suitable for that area . Gave away the red velvet cupcake as I had enough foreshadowed to know what was coming .

I wish I could give more than 5 stars just for the great service experience. I recently ordered and picked up a 9 inch Brooklyn Blackout cake and a dozen vegan red velvet cupcakes. De-licous! Gorgeous presentation of the cake, truly a masterpiece. The fudge layers were a hit. Everyone hates this word but every cupcake and cake bite was perfectly MOIST. Non vegans were like, "these are vegan?!" They also threw in a couple of vegan gluten free cupcakes because two of the red velvets disappeared from my order before I got there, which was totally understandable. Delicious things happen when cupcakes are around. They also had some big cookies by the register so I bought some of those as well. All in all, I'm very pleased with my overall experience and look forward to going back in the future.

I love supporting local business and was happy to try this place. This one star (I'd give minus stars if I could) is for the workers with bad attitude behind the counter. My friend was visiting from out of town and we thought this was a cute place to try out. How wrong we were! The girl who took our order looked like we were taking up her time and her demeanor was one of rushing and annoyed. When my friend added a cookie, she looked like she wanted to strangle us. Then the barista was rude when I asked if one of the 3 cappuccino's that she announced was mine. She curtly replied "I will be with you in a second" I found it laughable the amount of rudeness from these two since it was so unnecessary. I don't remember the cupcake nor the cappuccino because we were so put off by their attitude. I will take my business elsewhere and my recommendations! They need to chill!

I've seen videos roll across my IG feed about this bakery and I had the opportunity to go this week. I'm so happy they have a location in Brooklyn. I already knew what I wanted to try but when you're actually there you really want to try everything. I ended up buying a slice of the Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Nutella and the Brooklyn Blackout.....because when you're in BK....you just have to! Let me just say....everything you've heard about these cakes are true. They live up to their accolades. Not everyone can bake a great chocolate cake but this is the best (besides mine) lol that I've had. It's so moist and fluffy and not too sweet. As a matter of fact, all of the cakes have the right amount of sweetness where it's not overwhelming. The Banana Nutella is more of a dense cake (almost like banana bread) and equally as tasty. The Strawberry Shortcake I feel is my favorite with that delicious frosting...if you've ever had a Strawberry Shortcake ice-cream bar....that's what it reminds me of. If you have a sweet tooth like myself, you have to try their cakes. The slices are big enough to share. Enjoy!

I had a craving for Banana Pudding. Since I was celebrating Father's Fay bear Grand Army Plaza, I decided to do a Yelp search--Bakeshop was the closest place that had some. I called up ahead, to make sure they had some, the employee who answers the phone, was very courteous. When we arrived, we were served immediately. Also, my daughter lee got a cupcake and Pistachio Ice Box (sorry no photos) We all were very pleased with our choices, the service and the speed of the transaction.

Try the peanut butter cookie! If this place didn't exude enough adorable coziness, surely you'll get your fill of it with that crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-and-dense-on-the-inside PB goodness. I think it has peanut butter chips in it, which were so soft and melty. It's hard to get the salty/sweet balance down in a peanut butter cookie, and they totally nailed it! I also had the hot chocolate with oat milk. It was fine - could have been hotter - but I look forward to trying their coffee or hot cider next time. Though I didn't try a cupcake this time, the display is clean, orderly, and pretty. Whoever does the decorating here is doing a great job!

Such a cute and dainty Bakeshop. I found this place on Instagram, and went in to try the hostess cake. Very moist and tasty, and they give you a nice hunk of a slice. I've also tried their hot latte with oat milk, and the croissants are excellent. I typically phone in prior to traveling to ensure they are stocked with my preferred items :).

I am a sucker for anything sweet--especially cake. So when I walked by this adorable little bakery, I knew we had to try it. My fiancé and I both chose two different flavor of baby cheesecakes. He had the tiramisu and I had the cookies and cream! Both were YUM! So creamy, so tasty, and just the right size to enjoy. I wanted to try a slice of the strawberry shortcake because it was just beautiful but that will be for next time! The whole shop was cute, aesthetically pleasing, and smelled heavenly. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly! Can't wait to visit again. Prices were high, but as is to be expected in NYC.
