This little place came highly recommended, and it didn't disappoint. The first thing you notice is its funky decor and smartly-dressed staff. This place is quirky and very popular, so hard to get a table at peak times. I was lucky and went midweek at lunch, so was able to walk in.
I ordered the Shenjiangbao dumplings and the Ma jiang ban mian noodles, and both were delicious. The freshly made dough and noodles gives this kitchen the edge of many other similar places. The only "but" would be that the dumplings were cold, and it would have been nice to have them just a little bit warmer (there's soup inside, so boiling hot is also not a good choice!)
I would have loved to order a lot more from the menu, but two dishes were already pretty generous for one person! Definitely worth the visit, and I will be back to explore the rest of the menu.
