The 18 Best Farmers Markets In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Run by the non-profit VELA (Volunteers Of East LA), this mid-scale market is a hub for vendors in the community, and a good place to find something delicious to eat. There’s specialty coffee and hot chocolate imported from El Salvador, freshly baked pan dulce, and birria-stuffed tacos dorados, plus artisan goods, organic produce from RC Farms’, and jars of raw honey from Don Pilis Apiaries. Open Saturday, 8am-1pm." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

I go there everyday and the cashiers are friendly to me and my dad, and the meat is very delicious. It costs more, but helps you get it bigger than a regular store. You can also get lottery tickets from $1-$30. I love this place. I've been here since I was 5 and now I'm 10. Everybody knows me that's why they are always so so so nice to me

I went to get my produce, at this market for the first time, and the cashier over charged me 10 $ bux. And they didn't say sorry about the mistake. Be careful when you pay, check your receipt before you leave the store. Yo fui por primera ves aqui a esta market, y me cobraron 10$ demas, y cuando fui a mi refund, tube que esperar, y ni si quiera see disculparon. No Buena experiencia, caro Todo, no ethika, en personal. No buelvo ai.

I know it's a time of concern but some people overreact and they don't stock up on the items that are going to be gone throughout the day.. by the time people get out of work that actually have to go, nothing of the necessities are available

Google
Good place to grab something quick. In and out shopping, carries the basic staples at a little bit higher price. Fast and friendly clerks.

Im a loyal costumer of this market even when the pice of the produce is high comparated with 'el super"but i don like to make the big line to pay at the register at "the super" But mi rewiew its to tell the owners of this store to please have a combersation or give more training to 2 of the employees Employee#1 the old butcher guy on the evening shift its sooooo arrogant when he help costumer that its like he is doing you a favor to sale you a produce his actitud its soooo bad that if i need to buy any meat in the afternoon i rather to make the line at the super Employee #2 the fat cashier with 10 pounds of make up at the evening shit This is a very new employee but also have the actitud of the princess of the year If she doenst speak spanish she shouldnt not be working on a market on east los angeles I was gonna give a rewiew about this those 2 employees one week ago but it happen that mi family from mexico came to visit and when to this store to buy meat to make carne asada and when they came back home told me abouth the bad service that those 2 employees gave them I will love to be contact with the owners of this little market to tell then to fired those 2 employees.....
