Google
The food here was really good! We got the taro dumplings and the pork dumplings. 10/10 loved and the taro wasn’t too sweet and a nice consistency. We got the chow main combo and the noodles were great and lots of protein and veggies. Great ratio and flavor. I’ve always wanted to try this place and if definitely return.

Google
Great stir fried string beans. Very good egg cream buns. My favorite was the red bean for desert. Ironically, the beef dumplings were a little underwhelming. Not bad, but completely outclassed by everything else we tried. One of our favorite meals in the area.

Google
I’ve been to Little Fat Dumpling a couple of times and really enjoy the food. The wontons are the best I have ever had—they’re packed with so much filling, making them incredibly satisfying. Every dumpling I’ve tried has been delicious and fresh, with great flavor and texture. The quality of the food is consistently impressive, and I always look forward to coming back for more!

Not sure what the complaints are about, I truly liked everything I ordered! Good taste & flavor, service was ok & waiting time wasn't too bad. Will definitely be one of my go to spots. All in all: Good food, decent service & the ambiance was. (Should note, I got my order to go)

Wife and I wanted Chinese and decided on Little Fat Dumpling since we've seen it many times while at Trader Joe's in North Fresno. So the atmosphere is real nice and the service was prompt. The food is of course what makes or breaks an experience and the food was as good as expected. We had the Fried Sesame Balls and Vegetable Spring Rolls as appetizers with Chicken Chow Mein and Vegetable Fried Rice. All the food was delicious. I would recommend the Fried Sesame Balls if you haven't tried Dim Sum before. Very good! We enjoyed ourselves.

Google
Pricey for the potion and quality of food . The noodle are the best thing out of what I ordered. Orange chicken was so dry and lacked flavor the texture was like it was overly cooked in the on-site and then batter and fried later . The beef in chilie oil was not spicy and also lacked flavor. Broccoli beef was okay the meat was tender. Again the noodles are great. Spent about $100 again a little pricey for what it was. I would compare it to under seasoned Panda Express if you enjoy their food this may want to give this place a try.

Google
Waited 50 minutes for spicy chicken and fried rice while other tables ordered similar items and arrived after us yet still got served first. Also we were served flat soda and never got any refills. We asked one of the staff who stared and walked past us. We’ve been here before but never got treated like this. This service alone is enough to stop me from coming back.

Google
Always excellent food. A good service. Nice atmosphere. One of our go to restaurants. Soup dumplings are the favorite. Wonton soup not far behind.

Yelp
Quick service from the staff. Amazing food, made to order. One of the best dumplings and shayou beef Ramen. 100/10. My husband and I loved it.

Yelp
The soup dumplings ABSOLUTELY amazing! Those are definitely 10/10... The sticky rice and chicken 1/10 rice is mush over cooked, no flavor over all just gross. We also got sweet and sour fish surprisingly really good 8/10 The restaurant is super small space is very limited. The waitress was ok, we never got refills on our drinks and was out of drinks for a while. I would ONLY come back for the soup dumplings to go.!

Yelp
Pork soup dumplings: I think this is the only place in town that makes their own soup dumplings. The dim sum places I'm sure they buy those frozen. Soup dumplings here are waayy better tasting than other spots. Although I have to admit they're on the saltier side. Each dumpling has a ton of soup inside, the dough is thin and soft. If it weren't so salty I'd give it a 5 but since it was salty (4/5). Har Gow: I've had better. It's pretty standard. The dough was a little chewy. Filling wasn't as flavorful. (3.5/5) Taro steam buns: I'd skip this tbh. Lot of bread and very little filling. I was hoping the filling was a bit sweeter. Very underwhelming. I do think these are bought, not made in house. (1/5) Sticky rice wraps: I also think these are store bought and not made in house. These are standard. Nothing really stands out about these. If you like the taste of shiitake mushrooms you'd like these. (3/5) Overall it's okay. I do need to retry these soup dumplings again because even being salty these are probably the best soup dumplings in town. And probably the only ones that are homemade. Maybe I just came on an off day. Everything else was just meh. But I'll definitely be back to try everything else.

Yelp
Greeted upon entering, we viewed the menu. Before arriving, we already planned to order to go so requested sesame balls. Upon waiting, we admired the ethnic decor, and look forward dining in to try the (fried) potsticker and an entree meal.

Yelp
Parking can be a little tough when you get here but I found one around 6pm. It's a small restaurant but one table can probably fit 6 people. Service was fast and we were seated right away. We ordered the beef onion dumplings, house spicy chicken and vegetable chow mein. The food probably came out pretty fast too. I really enjoyed the beef onion dumplings. It had a lot of flavor and tasted homemade :) the house spicy chicken was alright. It wasn't spicy at all and the chow mein was okay. There seems to be a lot of to go orders and I would definitely order the dumplings again :)

Yelp
First time trying this place. Food was good and fairly quick. I don't remember what i ordered. I will say this, the food was actually spicy which surprised me. Most restaurants claim to be spicy, but the dish I ordered was spicy/hot

Yelp
Delicious food. Clean restaurant. Fast service. We arrived and were seated promptly. We ordered a few things to try out and get a feel of the place. The green beans were delicious and the soup dumplings were perfectly done. I tried the steamed pork bao and it probably was my favorite dish. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Yelp
I have been here multiple times and really enjoy the food. It feels very homey. Everything is just so good. We decided to do takeout today and the quality is still just as good as in person. We ordered so much and underestimated the amount. If you are looking for some yummy dumplings, and comfort Chinese food, little fat dumpling is your best choice!!

Yelp
We were apprehensive to eat here because of the reviews, but we saw it was all service related so we gave it a try. The service wasn't that bad although it wasn't that good but it was definitely the worst rice I have ever tasted on the planet. How can something be dry and chewy at the same time? If I didn't know better, I would say that they over microwaved it by a lot after it had already been cooked though why would be my question? Everything we had from the Mongolian beef to the beef potstickers had something sour tasting in it. I don't know if it was some spice. I'm unaware of, but every item had that sour flavor. It was almost like fennel, but fennel is not sour whatever they need to do. They need to lose that spice and they need to lose the rice the beef on the Mongolian beef was wonderful and tender, but the sour taste permeating the whole dish kind of ruined it for us. When I complained about the rice being so bad, she took it off our bill and was gracious about it. However, I don't think I'm going to give this one another chance sadly

Yelp
Cute little place serving basic Chinese style dishes and some specialty dumplings either steamed or fried. Both are good. Friendly and attentive staff. I really wish they had more options of dumplings because the ones they have a so good. FYI if it's fried, it's a pot sticker; if it's steamed or boiled, it's a dumpling

Yelp
Four adults went in for lunch late afternoon on weekday. No other customers. Music was blasting. Why? Are they really trying to drive away customers? Staff didn't seem to enjoy it, why not tone it down? We ordered two dumplings, a noodle stir fry, and two beef noodle soups. Beef noodle soups were the best - broth was savory and the beef tender. I didn't care for the dumplings. The broth inside didn't have the umami yummy taste. 88 Bao Bao has better soup dumplings. Can't comment much on the price as everything is expensive. No reason they would charge less than their neighbors!

Yelp
Little Fat Dumpling is always there for me when I need it the most. I normally get takeout but today decided to dine in. You find your own seat and are tended to by kind staff immediately. It was also very clean! This cozy spot is great for a lunch date and the food is incredible. Today I went for the Pork Xiao Long Bao and beef and cabbage pot stickers! The sauce that comes with these items is the perfect touch. After eating from here a few times, I've learned you really can't go wrong with anything!

Yelp
I wanted to try this place for a while now and finally we did. I ordered on the phone and when I arrived the food was ready. The food was freshly made and very delicious. I ordered the broccoli with garlic. My Husband ordered beef and broccoli and a side of steam rice, and we also had an order of chicken and corn dumplings. We also ordered some spring rolls. Those are very tasty and crunchy. I have tried this in different places but this are great. My husband said that his food was very good, and that it was very hot, We couldn't eat right away but it's just the way it supposed to be. I loved the broccoli I got, It tasted so good. The broccoli was tender and juicy. My grandson Loved their dumplings. He loves the ones with chicken and corn. There are 12 in an order. They have many thing in the menu but they are known for their famous pork dumplings. Those are most people's favorite. Ambience it's very relaxing. No music in the background and they have a beautiful fountain inside!! You can hear the water coming down. I am definitely coming back. Just writing about makes my mouth watering.

Yelp
Came in for first time. The restaurant was quiet but very clean. We were seated and brought water quickly. We ordered the spring rolls, soup dumplings, wonton soup and chicken chow mein! We were so pleased with all the dishes! We will be heading back here again!

Emily F.

Yelp
Shit was nasty no flavor. Rude waiter too. If you want good food don't eat here, way better food somewhere else. Especially for the price, save your self. I don't leave reviews but this was so bad .

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
We have visited this location in the past and been wonderfully surprised at the quality. However, this time around, you were very disappointed by the quality of the rice and that we were charged extra for a tiny little bowl of dry, old crop rice. Our food took quite some time to come out, granted that it was the dinner hour. For a party of two, we each ordered one entrée and a bowl of rice. My entrée came out about 15 minutes after we were seated and my friends came about 25 minutes after we receded. Thankfully, her plate was piping, hot and freshly made with crispy vegetables and Perfectly cooked chicken. For the location, I would say it is what you would expect. But compared to my memories of this place, I'm sorry to say that I will not be returning.

Yelp
This place is such a local gem! Very authentic tasting Chinese food. While we usually get the kung Pao chicken and Mongolian beef, everything else we've tried has been amazing too! Their walnut shrimp is amazing. Portions are good and we get consistent quality each time. Clean interior and good atmosphere.
google avatar

Jeffrey Jude A.

Yelp
The food tasted good and flavorful. Service was fast and the server was friendly, fast and accurate. Place is clean and cozy. Our favorite is the honey walnut shrimp.

Yelp
I got the sweet and sour fish!! It's my fav!! So delish. Great staff, quick to set when I walked in!!

Yelp
Came and had name on waitlist and was told 30 minutes so decided to place order to go instead. An hr later still haven't gotten our order. Should've stayed dining in since those that came at the same time for dine in as us had all ready gotten their food and ate while we are still waiting for our order.

Leonardo M.

Yelp
The Food, the Service, the price! Really amazing!! The Service was so amazing too the server was so kind and polite.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered food online for pick-up in person. The process was easy to use. We did family style for a large group of people. The prices are fair, portions generous, and, most importantly, the food was delicious. As the name suggests, the dumplings are where it's at. Both the boiled and pan fried dumplings are fantastic. I'm a fan of the shrimp, pork, leak, and egg dumping and potstickers. The sauteed string bean is a great dish too. Little Fat Dumpling is in a busy shopping center so parking may be tricky during peak hours.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here after heirloom was too busy and we like dumplings so we were hopeful. However, the dumplings we ordered were my least favorite dish. The green beans would be the only thing that brings me back. The beef was so soft I had to ask the lady if it was really beef. It was a strange texture that I wasn't used to. The service was mostly good and the food came pretty quickly. Overall I think there's better dumpling spots in town and definitely outside of Fresno.
google avatar

Josh G.

Yelp
So so so good! Amazing! The dumplings here I wonderful! If you are in the era please try if you want authentic dumplings and bao!

Yelp
I've passed by here so many times, smelling the yummy food from outside, that I finally decided to stop by and have dinner with my girls. As soon as we walked in, we were sat immediately in a booth. Most, if not all, the seatings are booth, so keep that in mind. We were given menus as we sat and waited to have our drink orders taken. Customer service was a bit lacking when we went. We had to call our waitress several times for things like refills on drinks and an order being wrong. The table behind us apparently had left because they expressed they hadn't been helped in well over 30 minutes, and meanwhile, we had just walked in and started getting help. Something we all noticed. Finally, we got our orders in, and we chatted away waiting for food. As we waited for the food, we distributed forks and plated to everyone and noticed my fork was very dirty, as if it wasn't right at all. That's something to note. The food didn't take much time to come out. Some orders, though, took much longer than others others come out. At one point, everyone had gotten their plates except one of us. We had asked about their order, and it was as if they completely forgot about hers, so they started to make it up. I had to send my plate back, unfortunately, because I requested no bell peppers in my vegetable Chow mein, and it came with bell peppers anyway. Once we all got our food together, it was delicious. The food was very flavorful, the dumplings were packed nicely, and the meat was moist. Everything came out piping hot with the steam fuming off the plate. Loved that. Despite service and the cleanliness not being 5 stars, the food is def something to visit for. The food alone is 5 stars. Try coming at a less busier time/day, and hopefully, you'll have a better experience.

Yelp
We used to really love it here, but over the last year have been unimpressed. The food isn't bad, but bland. The orange chicken is mushy and lacks flavor. Not likely to continue going here. Staff are really nice though.

Sonia K.

Yelp
Service was bad if not awful. Food was plain. Do not recommend. Inside was ok, clean

Yelp
Came for lunch today, my first time here. Got seated right away. Friendly service right off the bat. Ordered a few different plates. The Kung Pao Chicken was my favorite. Great flavor, not overpowering at all. The sauce was very tasty. Also ordered the green string beans that were amazing as well. Tried the dumpling soup, edamame, pork buns and bacon shrimp fried rice. Not bad prices, fed 4 of us adults for $80 and that included 3 soft drinks and an iced tea. Very reasonable. I will be back soon!!

Jessica G.

Yelp
We got pork soup dumplings they were very delicious and fresh We also got veggie noodles! The service was very fast and the food was hot & fresh

Yelp
I've eaten here several times now. Recently they created a new and more comfortable, intimate seating arrangement. The food though is fresh and delicious and the best thing about this place is. It's not a huge establishment but it's never empty. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Never an empty glass at least not for long. They serve you family style which is nice to know if you're ordering for a larger group and the portions are generous. Parking is easily available. Now for the best part. I highly highly recommend the soup dumplings, because they're hands down the best I've had anywhere. The Garlic chicken is also delicious and if you're up for medium spicy the Spicy noodles soup is very yum. They do have tasty buns but if you have a sweet tooth the custard buns are great. Take my word for it and eat here if anything sounds good about this review psst it's the soup dumplings. Ha!

Yelp
We came to Little Fat Dumpling on Sunday at 5:00pm. It was fairly busy but we were sat within 15 minutes. The BBQ pork buns were delicious. The Mongolian beef had great flavor and a bit of spice. The chow mein noodles were fresh and tasty. Portions were good and we had leftovers to-go! I will be back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I took my son to eat dinner here with me, as a "mother - son date" and we were seated right away. We were surprised because it was pretty busy inside with people dining as well as people getting to go orders. We were both pretty hungry and couldn't decide what to order so we started with some hot tea then ordered a few different plates to try out. A bit of a wait but not too bad, especially since I mentioned earlier that they were busy and we ordered about 7 plates for 2 people. We both absolutely loved every plate. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. Plates are served with a good amount A man from the kitchen (my son said was the chef) came out towards the end to Thank us for dining in and laughed at the fact that a young boy and his mother had ordered that amount of food lol. We cannot wait to return again, I need to bring my other kid and husband next time!

Yelp
Little Fat Dumpling is located in Park Crossing Shopping Center across from Trader Joe's. We ventured in for dinner on a nice Wednesday evening. It was empty at 1st. Before we left after 7:30pm, every booth was full and 3 families were waiting for takeout. There was only 1 lady serving all of us. The kitchen was super busy with the orders so it was taking longer to get the food. However, it was hot tho. All the food was flavorful. We really enjoyed everything. I just couldn't give 4 stars because of the service. Hopefully, we can try this spot again the next time we're in Fresno.

Peter B.

Yelp
Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Fresno and Clovis . Quick and professional service. Food was hot and so delicious! Honey walnut , Vegetable Chow mein and BBQ pork buns were some of what I tried but will be back !! Portions were for two or more people very plentiful ! Try this place out . Sorry no pics food was to delicious to remember next time .

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch on a sunday. it wasn't super busy, got seated right away. The space is pretty small. The host and server were very nice. I ordered a good amount of food and it was reasonably priced in my opinion. The shrimp fried rice was my personal favorite. I wasn't a big fan of the shrimp dumplings.
google avatar

Celeste J.

Yelp
My friend and I went on a hunt to find soup dumplings in town because we'd never had them before. It was a great first experience and very yummy. We also got crab rangoons (which I can talk from experience this time) were delicious. The staff was friendly, and due to a lack of customers at the time, spent most of the time cleaning. I will say, the restaurant was a bit awkwardly silent because there was no music playing haha.
google avatar

Ann D.

Yelp
I would recommend the pork buns but the pot stickers and beef spicy chilli soup we got was not good. The service was good and the seating booths are well organized. I think we ordered the wrong items but I would not come back here.
google avatar

Laura F.

Yelp
The menu has a lot of choices. The potions are big enough to share and eat family style. I loved the chow mein and pork buns!

Annie A.

Yelp
The waitress at first was very cold. Which is fine, I get it we all have those days... What really disgusted us was the cockroach that was crawling on the wall next to our table. The waitress then preceeded to tell us, "we spray everynight, but there must be eggs" Once we made the waitress aware of the little critter that we squashed with a napkin, her mood took a 180. This is very unfortunate.
google avatar

Mai Y.

Yelp
I'm surprised the bacon fried rice was very good, bit of a wait but that's okay. Will definitely come back again. I wish they had combo plates.
