We had “That’s a chunky” hazy IPA and they were great! They are having a pig roast tonight to celebrate 420! They have indoor seating as well as a nice outside area. They have games you can grab and play inside and have tether ball outside. Kids are welcome too! They have a large selection of beer and other drinks including non alcoholic options which I love. They have restrooms for everyone including a family and all gender one!! Parking lot is large which is a plus. All the staff from the time we got there was very friend knowledgeable and helpful. They have handicap parking area close to the entrance of the brewery. They also sell shirts and hats merchandise at a reasonable price. Definitely will be back when we can stay longer.

Off the path from the downtown crowd. Beautiful surrounding of trees, plants, etc. A good food menu. We opted for pizza and weren't disappointed both times we tried while visiting. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when picking beer and even just talking about their process and ingredients. Would definitely recommend and be back. We did the Supreme Detroit style pizza. Olives and parsley were something I'd never have thought of adding to a meat pizza that were great.

Little fish has great pizza, the best. I don’t enjoy mushroom pizza but I never regretted choosing Mushroom pizza from Little fish. It was lekker and so delicious. I loved the rustic design, so picturesque. Their drinks are also great! Definitely I will go again.

This place is great! The view is nice, there are lots of outdoor activities (and pet friendly), and the food is delicious. We went for brunch on Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day) and were seated right away, but it filled up quickly. We ordered Irish coffees since it was brunch on SPD. All the food we ordered was amazing and the portions were generous. We ordered sweet potato fries, Brussel sprouts, seafood chowder, crackers and pimento cheese, mushroom pizza, and corned beef hash (SPD special). Would love to go back soon and try other menu items as well as the beer menu. Since I live near Dayton, I’m looking forward to trying the new Dayton location!

Awesome outdoor space! Their beer kicks. Barrel aged and ipas and some farmhouse and the more main stream styles. It’s all delicious. Really good food, did the bhan mi, burger and beat burger for the vegetarian. All very good.

Fantastic brewery with great dishes too! Got the margarita (not pictured), KittyPaw and the Chimi Fries. Excellent! Also beautiful inside & outside spaces!

A bit out of the way from campus but worth the trip. Friendly staff, good prices, nice food options, great beer selection and nice outdoor seating.

Not good experience. The vibes were good on the patio but the food was extremely mid. We originally came for a margarita pizza but were told that it was “just kicked off the menu…”The sweet potato fries were very incredible but that is where our good experience ends. The skillet cookie was very chalky and the pimento cheese came out with SALTINE CRACKERS. Not worth the price at all.

We stopped by Little Fish on our way to an Airbnb in this area for a quick pint and snack after being on the road. The bartender and our server made great beer recommendations. They have a nice variety of styles of beer, including IPAs, Sours, and Belgians to name a few. If you scan their QR code you can read detailed descriptions of each beer and the brewing process and ingredients used. Their menu looked great - we opted for just a small appetizer, the tinned fish, since my husband is a bug fan of sardines. Probably not for everyone, but they brought them out nicely dressed with some tomato sauce and edible flowers. I'd love a chance to come back and try some of their other menu items which all sounded delicious. The inside is an open brewery with several picnic style tables. The host stand will seat you and there is full table service. There's a great outdoor space too, but we didn't check it out since it was crazy summer hot! The outdoor tables though are nicely covered and offer lots of extra seating. A lovely brewery stop for anyone who enjoys craft beer and quality food.

We were visiting Athens and our first stop of the day was the brewery. It opened at 11 am and our waitress was so nice. She asked questions and was very friendly and easy to talk to. She took our orders as we did a flight, wife had a seltzer, and we got what I would say is the best fries ever. Omg they were so good. All of the beers that I tried were good. Liked the Pilsner's which were my favorites. The place inside is cute and outdoors. I can see this is the place to be on warm days here. Service was quick. This was one of our favorite stops in Athens..

Was in town for my brothers wedding. We went to this brewery as part of the rehearsal dinner. This is in its own private lot on the edge of college town. It has a beautiful outdoor area covering a couple of picnic benches with some cafe lights strung in between. Speaking only in regards to the food, the chimichurri fries were a great consistency and well seasoned. The chimichurri added a nice freshness to offset the garlic aioli. We also got the mushroom Detroit pizza. It was absolutely delicious. Full bodied with the bechamel sauce mixed with mozzarella. The oyster and cremini mushrooms added a lot of depth to the mix. It was well seasoned. Piping hot and crisp on the outside, gooey on the inside. Pretty impressed with the food especially for a brewery. Service was great. Although we had to grab our own plates and silverware, staff often bussed the tables and checked in on our large group. If I ever return to Athens in the future, I would come back for sure.

Great brewery with indoor and outdoor seating along the bike path. We went on a busy Friday afternoon and had to wait for an outside table but could not order food indoors which was strange. Good ambiance indoors and out with plenty of games to play inside and a grassy area for kids to explore in near what looks like the old ruins of home stairs. Covered patio outdoors and the service was good but you could tell they were short staffed for the amount of patrons they were serving. We got there during happy hour where apps are smaller and cheaper. The best food was the pizza, so amazing and deep dish!!

Our first visit to Little Fish was a very solid experience. The one beer we tried was great, and the sausage pizza was very good....though maybe a little overpriced. Ambience and service were both very acceptable. Will definitely be back.

I'm late at giving this review, but I was searching Athens restaurants today and this place popped up and reminded me of the experience. My husband and I went here on Mother's Day. We got the ramp butter and some beers. The service was strange, and we felt very unwelcomed even though it was mostly empty when we went, so we left pretty shortly after the food and beers. Three of us enjoyed a Father's Day lunch. The service was outstanding and it alone would be a reason to return. Outside seating was great for an early summer day. We splurged and ordered the Appalachian Platter. Let me say it was a like a a us trip to Europe. The flavors blended very well. Light, but filling, tasty and not over powering. Don't miss Little Fish Brewing Company when you are in Athens! We love stopping in at local breweries as we travel. We have never had this level of gourmet food, however. It's chill, friendly vibe is really lovely. The beer and sours are excellent. And the food is delicious: thoughtfully sourced, beautifully crafted. Don't miss this place!

The chimi fries were a bit of a miss, as they were too salty and not as crispy as we would have liked. But hey, with pizzas this good, who needs appetizers anyway? A great place to hangout. I heard this place before but they were packed so we finally came back again. They had a great service and the people were so nice. We went there during the weekday so a lot of parking. Love the outdoor seating area. Love the food too! The chimi fries were awesome! And the steak chermoula bowl was the best! We had a great time there. Will definitely go back again!

Stopped on road trip on the way to Columbus from Charlotte. Food was very good as was the outside area! I needed to bring my hound since she was traveling with us so the outdoor place was perfect!

Little Fish Brewing will give you energy and inspiration for life. Great people are doing great things. After a short hike, we stopped at Little Fish Brewing. I read the Chef was nominated for a James Beard Award. Our expereince was great. We had the Pimento cheese, house salad and Pepperoni Pizza. Everything was wonderful. You will not find a better salad anywhere. If you like Detroit style pizza, this is your place. The Pizza was excellent. Fingers crossed they open a location in Columbus, OH. We had a few drinks and the beer was great. Go here early and often, you will be happy!

good selection of beers, menu is a little small but the House Burger was phenomenal. Nice outdoor seating. our waitress was great. little bit of a drive if you are staying in hocking hills though, but the scenery on the way was nice.

We really enjoyed the mushroom pizza here. Don't ask to change items on the menu, they clearly have a chef that knows what they are doing. They have a large beer selection and we had a flight and bottle. Only downside here was we were sat in a back room and I think they forgot we were there because we waited about 15 minutes before a waitress came. Then this room filled up and was loud with nothing to look at but the walls. Despite this I would absolutely go here again because the food is worth the wait!!

This brewery was a great find! It is on the most beautiful piece of property and has an absolutely amazing outdoor patio! We had the greatest server that was so very helpful and had the most wonderful smile! I loved the beer selection! They weren't all my favorite, but it was really great to try everything from barrel aged to Sours. The bartender was super friendly, very helpful and had such a great personality! This is a five star brewery for sure, but I only gave four stars because the inside has a very funky smell. I'm not talking Brewery smell. I don't know what it is but it made you want to go outside very quickly. We will definitely return but will make sure that it is a day we can sit outside!

Little Fishes has a scratch kitchen for food. The brewery also has a wide selection of of craft beers.

Came for dinner but everything was out. I was able to get a bread plate which was much better than you would expect a bread plate to be. Service was friendly.

I came here for a work lunch and I was really excited! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now after living in Athens for 4 years and hearing about it. I ordered the chai stout and the jalapeño pizza without bacon. Wow was that pizza delicious. I cannot say how delicious it really was, you'll just have to trust me. They have such a wide selection of beers you'll definitely find one you'll love. I like the unfinished feel of it. It's a brewery and restaurant together which I find unique. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's really really expensive. The pizza was $18 and there are some interesting smells from them brewing beer. But overall a great stop and definitely recommend.

Interesting seasonal variety of small dishes of food to pair with your beverage. Nice ambiance and nice staff. Highly recommend for casual gathering of family or friends.

Visited with friends last night for dinner and drinks. The food is better than before. Still my favorite brewery in the MOV and surrounding area.

They have a changing menu based on the season, however they're always delicious and well planned! In the summers the patio area is the perfect place for a lazy brunch.

I got the semi sweet potato fries and the mushroom deep dish pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We went twice in one weekend. Absolutely loved it. I also got the espresso martini and it was amazing.

Update review! I am SO happy to switch my 1 star review for poor service to a whopping 5 star review for amazing beer and even more amazing service. Way to go little fish! We had an amazing experience!

Little Fish is my favorite brewery in Athens. Really. Yes it's better than Jackie O's. Even though it's not big it still has a big selection, along with food. The prices are good too. It is good to see another place to get local beer. Most people here have been to Jackie O's, whose product is very easy to find in stores across Ohio. This has a much smaller distribution, but I've seen it in some other bars in town. Many of the beers have funny names. There's a few IPAs, and some sours. One of these is the You Wanted A Hit. This is a Northeast style IPA. It's $5.50 for a pint. The rest of the beers cost about the same as this. Also while you're here get something to eat. They have opened an area you can order food. You go up to the window. Almost the entire menu is made from locally sourced food. They can bring the food to the bar or your table. It usually doesn't take long, unless they are extremely busy. The vegan tacos are $3 each, small but filling. The beer is much higher quality than people in town are used to. It still isn't that expensive. Try some of the food too.

The deep dish pizza is delicious! This is my second visit this weekend. Dog friendly and good beer selection.

Little Fish is such a sweet stash of great, artisan beer and food in an idyllic setting. Great people too. It's our Go-To when we hit Athens. Such a nice find when our kid started at OU.

I was a fan of Little Fish until my visit this evening. Extremely rude staff. I understand it was a busy Friday night, but there's no need to have employees behind the bar act so aggravated that we were waiting for a table. I won't be back. I'll take my business to the other breweries in Athens.

Little Fish, Big Flavor!! Moving our daughter out of her dorm today and stopped here for lunch, soooo glad we did!!! Set aside all the wonderfully environmentally responsible things they do like run with solar and wind powered and their locally sourced ingredients.... The beer and food was outstanding!!! We ordered a pizza and a burger. Both were so delicious! (My daughter claimed, the best burger she's ever had). The side salad was even a standout with the fresh greens that were dressed with a vinaigrette that had the perfect balance of sweetness... and the sunflower seeds made it perfect. Burger had a ton of flavor and the pickles were not your mamas hamburger dills, they were fresh and homemade. We ordered a Pilsner and a West Coast IPA, both were worthy of taking home a growler. They even have a Ukraine fundraising brew. Sat outside in the sunshine in the beautiful scenery overlooking some of the rolling hills of Athens. So refreshing that a business that is doing all the right things for the humanity is also making just good food and beer as well. We wish you all the success and we will definitely be back next school year!! Highly recommend!!!!

As an OU alum, I was excited to get back to Athens and go to some old favorites as well as try some new spots. I had quite a few people mention this place and had heard that the beer was really good but that the manager was extremely rude. Unfortunately for me, the day I went the manager was bar tending--and boy were they right! It seemed as though he simply did not like his job or interacting with people at all. Now I might have just chalked it up to having a bad day but my friends said he is always like that. (Side note--my friends are the ones that told me he was the manager) I also ordered some food. I had a salad and tacos which were r good but super overpriced. Not to mention it took wayyyyyy to long for the food to come out. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Went there on Sunday. All-day brunch menu! Ordered burger, bahn mi, and a kind of beer whose name includes cat. Their bread is fantastic! So crispy. The sauce (ranch? mayo?) is tasty. So delicious. We can tell that the ingredients are superb.

I sat outside and had the mushroom pizza and a beer with my father. One of the best pizzas I think I have ever had. There was a good sized and friendly crowd, including a few families and pets. The live acoustic music was a nice addition to the vibe and band not so loud you couldn't still have a conversation which I always appreciate . I totally enjoyed the experience.

Okay.. the house burger with the added bacon jam....wow. 5 stars just for that. I have not had that good of a burger in a long time. Phenomenal job! I do have to say, it took a little too long for the food but it was worth it! I unfortunately did not take a picture because we were so hungry and excited to eat we forgot. Dog friendly! Beautiful outdoor area and delicious beers. Highly recommend this place! But also...that burger

We saw this business in Midwest Living so we had to stop. The poblano burger with a pistachio vinaigrette salad was delicious. The ingredients were fresh you could tell. My husband got the sausage pizza which was too big for him.Lol he also really liked the berry crumble beer.

Absolutely AWESOME food prepared with beautiful presentation. Enjoying a delicious meal outdoors on a summer evening with out-of-town guests was very special. All food was great. The deep dish pizza was superb.

Good beers, good atmosphere. Nice escape from the Court Street bars. I didn't really like the appetizers I had: the delicada (roasted squash) was bland. The pimento was ok, it was pimento cheese in a glass with saltine crackers. The fries were just so-so. I would go back and try some other food items.

Great service, great beer, and delicious food. Visited when we dropped our daughter for her first year OU. Order the fingerling potatoes! We also split a burger and my daughter and her roommate split a pepperoni pizza.

Definitely go here! The beer is very good - coconut porter is a must-try. The pickled veggies are everything you want them to be. The burger was cooked perfectly, the smoked beet ketchup is sooo delicious, and that bacon jam upgrade is the tops. I got a side salad which was very fresh and delicious, and their potato wedge/fries were good too. Cute craft brewery with character, kind of on the edge and unassuming from the outside but worth going to, no doubt. Looks like they have a really nice spacious outdoor area. I'll gladly return next time I'm in the area (stopped by in April), always happy to see a local place serving unique twists!!

Went for the pizza, not the beer. Pizza was good. One is enough for two but it was just me so I ended up eating half of the deep dish pepperoni. First place I've been to in maybe forever that did not serve ice tea but plenty of free water from a cooler outside. Would have liked to have tried the online ordering as described on a card on the table as it would have saved having to connect with the server at the end to close out but ended up ordering from one of the friendly staff. It's on a small side road which at first I passed by because I was looking for something bigger. Relatively small parking lot that was nearly full when I arrived and about the same when I left. Cool that they had an EV charger but I was not on my electric Harley on this trip so could not plug in. All in all, an okay experience and a good pizza but I realize most people are coming for the beer.

Always inviting. Awesome brews and related beverages. Sandwiches are solid and yummy. Excellent care by staff. Fun place for everyone to enjoy the afternoon or evening !!
