The burger was very good but they forgot the toppings, so I had to assemble myself. Components consist of a thick beef patty, neutral bun, maybe potato but probably wheat, garlic aioli, blue cheese, lettuce and pickles. It was good, but was it $22.50 good? Not really, would prefer Steak and Shake for quality at a reasonable price.
They up charge you $3.50 for french fries. The default side is a salad. Fries are normally the default because they are cheap to make. You should get a salad AND fries for $3.50 more.
Edit: Based on the response below, it was less fries than the small at Five Guys which cost $2.89 for hand made fries. The whole meal at Five Guys, arguably a better burger, with a drink is $17.89. The salad should be included with the burger, and paying $3.50 should be the cost of the fries.
The restaurant had sour beers and games to play. The wait for food was probably 20-30 minutes. Restaurant was very crowded and had political flags on the wall which were off putting. Why deface the Ohio flag with politics? Very divisive, literally the Ohio flag is enough for a unifying statement.
Edit: A commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and sourcing from Ohio farmers would look a lot like the Ohio flag.
If they want 5 stars, they need fair prices for small portion burgers and fries, move beyond garlic aioli on everything and no divisive politics.
Also, they didn't show a receipt before payment. My tab was wrong, luckily my friend and I worked it out, but that is a terrible business practice. They charged me for things that I didn't order.
Edit: I thought more about this fact, that they charged me for Brussel sprouts that I didn't order, no receipt before payment, etc. and reduced my rating -- it is not a good business practice, and I do not want other people to be subjected to it.
