Little Gio's Pizza Shop

We ordered a medium pizza with ricotta, 12 Chefs Secret hot sauce wings, fried pickles, and a cheesesteak special. The wings were breaded and soaked in sauce which is my absolute favorite. Great flavor on the wings and the breading was fantastic. The pizza could use more sauce. The cheesesteak was excellent and so were the fried pickles.

Cute little shop, staff were really nice! Popped in on my ride back from Fleetwood on a whim- glad I did! Grabbed a slice of plain for the road, they got me in and out pretty quickly. Prices seemed reasonable/ comparable to any other shops I've tried in the area. The plain was a nice thin crust with just enough crunch to it, perfect amount of cheese and the sauce was just right. would definitely return to try some other dishes here!

Would not recommend. Asked for a chicken sandwich and i got cut up chicken on a sub roll. Then said this is not what I wanted and said yes it is. Refused to refund even tho i was willing to bring the whole sub back. In the description it said a chicken on a sandwich. Does this look like that? I ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich. Not a hoagie, not a sub. But a chargrilled sandwich. Why not serve it like the chargrilled burger?

A gem of a place in Boyertown. They have a massive menu. Had a personal size meat lovers pizza that was enough for two meals. Quite good. Standard jalapeno poppers. Well prepared. Had a piece of cake for desert that good for the price. Overall a place worth trying the menu

Good food, really good wings. But they got WAY too expensive! Looks like the pizzas are being made smaller as well.

Nothing to really write home about. I know they didn't use a microwave but honestly, their pizza tastes just like microwaved pizza, floppy with no crunch. The meat on the wings is extremely dry but their sauce is good ( I got the pink sauce). Maybe their sandwiches are better; after this experience I'm not willing to try. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the price is too high for the quality of food. Wouldn't recommend. I did not keep their menu.

I have been a customer of little gio's for many years. not only was I a customer, but my local place of business was as well as we have ordered there for lunch as well as many office parties but we won't be anymore. two Fridays ago I tried to place an online order and it said my order would not be ready until the following Sunday we tried to cancel to no avail. when I called there Sunday, laura, was extremely rude to me and told me our order is ready and to come get it. I explained to her what was going on and she kept over talking me. I don't know how she keeps her job there she is extremely rude. refused to give us our money back until I told her I was going to call the owner then she said come get your money no apologies no nothing. I am absolutely appalled with her customer service. I will never go to little gio's again nor will any of my friends or office. you just lost one loyal customer because of your lack of customer service with that employee

Never had a bad meal from here, be wary of what takeout you order. Be very careful when ordering anything other than pizza and plain fries to go. Their food packing is VERY flimsy. Had a bag rip open all over my dad in the passenger seat full of pasta meals and it gave him a panic attack.

Time and time again they deliver excellence! Ordered something totally different tonight. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is phenomenal! We order twice a week sometimes and the quality, price and service is fantastic ! We never wait longer than 25 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this little shop!! Food and staff were amazing, passing their credit card fees on to the customer, not so much. If you sign a contract to pay a middle guy to process your transactions, that's a business fee. No warning on website, only as you pay. A few dollars won't kill me, it's the principle. You want a service but want someone else to pay for the service. Tragic.... And oh yeah, please fix your horrible script on the menu, is this calligraphy class or a menu...

Enough bad reviews to know to stay away. Tried them a few months ago and food was soggy. Wawa has better

I've eaten here for years. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich is top notch. Chicken parm sandwich and turkey hoagie are also very good. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area

I use to order about twice a month from here. I work 40 minutes away, so I would call on my way home and order food and pick it up on the way home using my credit card. Unfortunately, they require you to go online and pay with a credit card, otherwise, you have to go and make a special trip to an ATM or store to get cash. That doesn't work for me and I am sure I am not the only one. Why can you hand them dirty cash when you pick up but not your credit card? Doesn't make sense. Food is decent but now I order from another local place due to their inconvenient policy.

OMG the marinara is so good. My husband and I haven't had LGs in several years and decided to this evening. We were thankful we did. Everything was cooked to our specifications and was the best take out we've had in months.

They add 15-18% tip to all take out orders without informing the customers. I couldn't believe why it was so expensive until I read other reviews on Facebook of it happening. When I did the math I was in fact charged 15% without even knowing. Other customers have been reporting the price suddenly dropped after questioning it. Shady shady place and will never be back!

Amazing! Best local place. Too many favorites to mention... But the chicken cheesesteak Stromboli and the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich is mind blowing. Just don't tell your cardiologist.

Have not frequented this restaurant for some reason, since it has been in this location. I cook at home most of the time. Tonight's dinner was an amazing surprise. I ordered from the lot and waited the half hr .... on my way home. Pleasant surprise. My Eggplant Parmesan was excellent! Garlic knots were delicious Sauce was wonderful homemade and fresh! Even the salad was yummy with fresh kalamatas on it. Had to take the time to let everyone know. ! Recommended!!

Everything I have ever ordered from here has exceeded my expectations. Having lived in Philadelphia most of my life,I have enjoyed many good pizzas. This place could beat most Philly pizza shops easily. Amazing food. If you want a $7 pizza go to a chain and eat pizza food. Spend a little more and get the best pizza around at Little Gio's!

Always the best pizza, great service and just tried the cheesesteaks. I got the pizza steak which was topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce and full of yummy steak meat. Roll was lightly toasted to round out a perfect steak sandwich!!! Onion rings were great too!

Still not bad, but not as good as they were when they first opened. The NEWER guys across the street are a bit better now though.

This spot sucks. I called and placed an order Friday for pizza and cancelled it 5 minutes later. They still charged my card and refused to speak to me about it. The lady even hung up the phone mid sentence. Stay away from this place, there are plenty of other options with better food!

Great food and great people. I made an error and ordered 11 cheesesteaks instead of one and they refunded my money right away. Cheesesteaks and fries were great! Will be a regular.

This is some of the better pizza we have tried in the area. It's pricey for what you get, considering that it is very thin and not very cheesy. The pizza itself is pretty tasty, but I feel like I can find something even better and for a better price. I'm a cheese fry fanatic and theirs left something to be desired. I like my fries to be just plain old fries, these were coated, which I hate. The cheese was good wiz, and was just plopped on missing many fries. In addition, there is no delivery. Overall this pizzeria was acceptable, but not amazing.

The food is very good. Customer service from the front line staff is the best. But beware of the boss, he had the staff call the local police when my daughter had reason to call back and cancel her order. This was our families' go-to place for takeout.

OMG!!! Phenomenal cheesesteaks!!! I've lived in Pennsylvania most of my life so I've eaten thousands of cheesesteaks this one was hands down the best I've ever had. Fries with wiz are dope too. This was my first time there but I can't wait to sample more of their menu.

Ordered a pizza through the website with specific instructions in the notes. They made me and gave me the wrong pizza. When I got home and opened it up I realized it called them back and they refused to refund me more than 50% of the cost of the pizza and their solution was to bring the wrong pizza back they would give me half off of the new pizza that they incorrectly made. How is this a logical solution. What would the purpose be for me to bring back a wrong pizza that they were going to throw out. The Owner never apologize or said he was sorry about the mistake or the confusion and then developed an attitude with me toward the end of the phone conversation. I will never go there again I will tell everyone I can about how I was treated. This is not how you run a business

I have tried the sandwiches and a dinner here. First the sandwiches: the bread was excellent-- that's key for me. Sandwich rolls (In Italian sandwiches) need to have some 'chew' to them-- crispy on the outside and not a tough center but tough enough to hold up without dissolving or getting soggy before the sandwich is done. I had a turkey hoagie and the husband had a chicken parm. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. About a week later we tried lasagna, garlic knots, and a side salad. The salad was a bit on the sad side; wilted and sort of brown. However, the lasagna was superior, and especially the sauce; it's got a nice fresh tomato flavor that we both really enjoyed. The garlic knots were hard NOT to like-- little twists of pizza dough, nicely browned and glazed, the garlic flavor was nicely balanced. Now, having said all that the place is pricier than many others. We would definitely go back and try additional items, they have a huge menu with many unique items like the pizza roll ups and some different pizza combos.

I'm not from the area and found this place through google maps. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I got a gluten free cheese pizza for my husband and myself, and a regular large pie for the people we were going to visit. Everyone was raving about how delicious the pizza was, and the gluten free was super yummy too! Anytime I'm back in the area I will be going to Little Gio's!!

Food was good when we first moved in but has really been going down hill. They are also really ignorant and the kitchen is filthy. The last time we got food from them, we got sick. When we confronted them they called us liars. Will NEVER return!!!!

Have been a big fan of their Pizza. Their crust has always been excellent. Tonight we ordered our Pizza and the crust was horrible. Tasted like cardboard. Very dry. Not sure what they changed but hopefully they go back to their previous recipe.

Ate here for the first time since it was open. We always see this place with a lot of people coming in and out. We ordered two pizzas from there and were very pleased with the taste. The cheese had a different taste, which was very good. Everybody in my family liked it. The price was decent also. Maybe even a few dollars cheaper then other pizza places in the area. They definitely having us coming back to order more food from them.

Everyone should be aware that their menu prices have recently increased pretty significantly. It's not just 25 to 50 cents here and there, I'm talking several dollar increases per item. I'm sorry but we have taken Gio's off the go-to list and thrown their menu out over these insane price increases.

Fast, friendly and delicious food. Many times they gave us extras with large orders. Love this place, easily the best pizza in town. Menu has large variety that we look forward to trying.

We recently moved to the Boyertown PA area from NY, and were afraid we'd miss our great NY pizza. I'm happy to say that Little Gio's is as good as any NY pizza! This is now our standard place to get pizza, hoagies and steaks. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Pretty solid takeout joint. Had the wings, which were pretty tasty, along w/ a cheesesteak that was packed with meat and fried onions. The fried mushrooms are very good, and the kids killed those quickly. Quite possibly the thickest Sicilian pizza I have ever seen...not bad but very bready. The kids liked that a lot too. Looking forward to other offerings soon.

I am not a person to write reviews. But when a business is doing something right they deserve a 5 star review. I am always greeted with a nice "hello, how are you doing" from the owners. I work a lot of long hours and do take out often and Little Gio's always come through with great food, ready on time and the order is always correct (never missing a part of the order). Little Gio's offers a large menu.It's really nice to see a family business doing so well . Keep up the excellent service and great food

Fantastic pizza! We got a special New York style pizza, and it was loaded with quality toppings! The cheese steak was also stuffed with way more meat than other places. Cannolis were awesome!

One of the best pizzas around!! We've had takeout pizza from most of the local pizza shops but little gios has been consistently the best. It's take out only - no tables for dine-in. I would absolutely recommend.

We tried this place for the first time this weekend. I think its been open for a month or so. It was very disappointing. I ordered 2 pizzas online and my wife went to pick it up. So the first problem was that they forgot to make the 2nd pizza. She waited there a half hour while they made the forgotten pizza. Mistakes happen so what can you do, no big deal. However, the one pizza they did make was sitting there the 30+ minutes on the counter getting old. To our extreme frustration, when she got home BOTH PIZZAS WERE WRONG!!! The one pizza was missing the extra cheese, sausage, and pepperoni from it. The forgotten pizza was supposed to be a taco pizza that was listed on their website having ground beef, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, sour cream and mozzarella. I opened the box and it looked like it had a chopped cheese steak type meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese whiz, and a crazy hot buffalo sauce. I am not sure what the pizza was that they gave us, but it wasn't a taco pizza for sure! When my wife brought it back the pizza cook says that the cheese whiz was the sour cream. What!?! One positive thing is that the tiramisu was awesome! The real deal says the wife. They did give us a full refund so that was nice but we will never go back. The two pizzas alone were almost $40 with tax and my wife says that when she was in there returning the food, that many other people were returning orders, missing items, or waiting a long time for their order. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this place and I would want a local small business to be successful. I don't see them lasting very long if tonight was the norm. Maybe they oughta stick with baking and desserts?

Got the large pizza that was advertised under their Tuesday special for $8.00. The only problem is that when I went to get the pizza it was 10.00. I showed them their ad on my phone and they said "sorry, someone didn't change it. That was from a long time ago". So I paid for it hoping to get a good pizza for once, but it was burnt on the bottom and tastes like every other pizza in the area. They all must get their cheese and sauce from the same exact place. We keep looking for that Jersey shore or NYC authentic New York Style pizza around here but no such luck. The only other thing we tried were the hot wings which were pretty good. May try something else sometime, but will stay away from the pizza from now on.

This small family run business seems to be doing well in this spot where no one else seemed to have been successful. Good quality, fast pick up, friendly service.

The food is fine but, beware of their generous amount of Garlic in all of the foods. It's not really bad just be cautious.

2 bad meals that's enough for me not to go back. Tonight I ordered a buffalo chicken Stromboli if there was any hot sauce on it at all I couldn't tell. It was just lacking anything good. The last time I ordered I had a cheesesteak and it was sub par. No flavor just not very good. The fires were good both times but that's not enough for me to keep going back.

Good is great, but their on line ordering menu is not the easiest to navigate. 5 stars for food, 2 for on line ordering.

I was under whelmed especially after reading the reviews on Yelp. My wife and I ordered a bbq cheesesteak, cheesesteak salad, and a dozen wings. If I hadn't been lazy I could have gone to the local grocery store and made the same meal. The bbq is very innovative, I would guess it was either Sweet Baby Ray's or KC Masterpiece. The chicken was likely the frozen minute steak from the frozen foods area at the grocery store. The wings and salad were just as exciting... The one good thing is that the cheesesteak roll was very good. Eat here if you need to but don't set your heart on quality or flavor.

Great NY style pizza, not too doughy like the rest of these PA pizza places. Just beware, they do NOT take credit/debit over the phone! A little bit of an inconvenience when I wanted a family member who was driving past to pick it up for me. They also do not deliver either. All not major cons, especially since the pizza is good. They use lots of garlic, which I like, but some may be sensitive. However they will adjust if you ask or at least the guy on the phone offered when I asked about how much garlic they use; I was asking for extra garlic as most pennsyltucky places are alliumphobic. Prices are good.

The pizza is definitely the best in the area. Not a big fan of the sandwiches and wings. Better options in the area for wings and cheesesteaks, but not pizza. As this place is a take out only place, maybe that is why the wings and warm sandwiches are not very good. But if you want good pizza, this is your place!!!!

Horrible experience. Treated employees and customers terribly. The "Pizza Guy" was yelling at the cashier and belittling her in front of everyone. Absolutely disgusted with this place. Please learn how to treat employees. If not please don't act like an idiot in front of customers.

Best steak sandwiches and pizza in Boyertown/Gilbertsville area!! Whenever I visit from out of state, I order here because it's consistently great food and great service.

You try and support your local businesses and they pull this crap! Ordered a large peperoni pizza on Saturday and paid $17.50 for it, which is ridiculous in general. Get home and looked in the box and the pizza was as thin as a napkin. I know exactly what they did. The cook grabbed the wrong size of dough, then when he laid it out he realized it was the amount of dough they use for a medium. So, instead of throwing out what is probably $.50 worth of dough, he stretches it out to 16" which makes it paper thin. Really, that's how cheap they are? That's borderline dishonest as well because we've been ordering the same pie since they've opened, so we know that was not what we have received. It was half the weight, which I noticed when I walked back to my car, but didn't look at it then or I would have walked right back inside and dumbed it right on their counter and walked out. Not very bright to risk years of repeated business for a lousy handful of change?! We've been going to Gio's since they opened and will NEVER go back again! This is a small area and word gets around quickly. We hope that doing this to loyal repeat customers to save $.50 helped your retirement accounts!

I've lived here for 8 years and have had a lot of really good pizza, but nothing that blew me away. This is by far the best pizza in the area! The crust was perfect, the cheese and sauce were amazing. I will definitely be back...soon!!

I must say that I WILL NEVER eat from Little Gio's Pizza Shop in Gilbertsville pa AGAIN. First of all they can never get the orders right. I been there 3 times and all 3 times my order was either wrong or they forgot to put something in it. Then one day I went in there to take back the wrong pizza and the wrong hoagies that they gave me and they were very rude to me. They asked me what was wrong with the pizza and I said u put mushrooms on the pizza and we don't like mushrooms. His comment to me was why didn't u just take them off. I shouldn't have to take it off, I didn't order it. That was very rude for him to say that. He asked me what was wrong with the hoagies and i said u put hot peppers and lettuce on it and it was suppose to be plain. well they remade my food and didnt offer no discount or anything. well when i got home the pizza was wrong again. I will not go there again. The food is good when the orders are right but the customer service is bad. Customer service is more important to me then good food. MAYBE I WILL TRY THE RESTAURANT INSTEAD. MAYBE.

Just had the pizza. If you like crispy crust, it's fine and the slices are enormous. I like my pizza crust lite and fluffy. If someone wants their pizza more well done, fine, but it's best to start out lite so everybody's happy. Polite service.

Best take out in the area. Pizza is officially the best I've had since I moved here. The service was good and wait was similar to everywhere else so no problems there. Love the pizza can't say enough about it. If all other menu items are of same quality this is my new favorite spot. Can't wait to try other things they offer.
