A fantastic place to eat if you want home cooked food. I came here after a long night with my friends. When you're leaving Atlantic City, this is the place to enjoy a yummy breakfast. Prepare to wait for a bit but it's all worth it. Locals were raving about the food. The host was friendly. Waitress did not check on us to see if we needed anything. I had to walk up to her and ask for a fork, a glass of water and the check. It was busy on a Sunday morning and that's to be expected. I'll definitely come here again. No question. I also love that this diner will be open on Thanksgiving. The decor is absolutely adorable and fitting for a cozy place like this. And there is plenty of parking available.

Our hostess Selena was very nice and the food was delicious, The Goat decor was a nice touch to the atmosphere. I ordered the Hog breakfast sandwich and it was a perfect balance of pork, bacon, cheese, and eggs on a beautiful bun. I also recommend getting their crispy hash browns. Overall I recommend this place to anyone who likes comfort food. It’s a must have if you’re in Pleasantville.

I love the little goat. The food was great. there is a small mistake basically on my part. I ordered my eggs over medium instead of over light. And when I got them, they were too well done for me, the waitress was more than happy to take them back and fix them. And she did what a great breakfast I had with my friend. We definitely will come back and recommend to others. Thanks again for a great breakfast.

Google
This restaurant is a total winner! Very clean. Great service. Delicious food. Love the pictures of goats! The bonus is gluten free bread for toast which now makes this our favorite breakfast place. The avocado toast on gluten free toast with crisp bacon and an egg on top was totally delicious.

Google
My fiance googled restaurants in the area because we were here on vacation and came across this one with good reviews so we went there the hostess was very friendly and I wished she was our waitress. The heavy set short red head lady came to take our order after she stood to the counter for ten minutes and then she acted liked it was a problem to serve us people of color that is. Our food came out my French toast was cold and my scrapple was flat as a pancake 😔 and then another waitress came to clear our table and bring out tab she was a little friendly but why the switch was my question. The hostess checked us out and I asked and she said they pool their tips, never heard of that before since I waited tables before but ok whatever. I don't recommend this place and this is my first bad experience in Atlantic City to have someone act like we were a bother and the first time I never left a tip. You guys have to do better

Google
The eggs were over easy and cooked to perfection. The hashbrowns were nice and soft with a slight crisp to them. The steak was a big portion. I ordered medium rare. Definitely needed a shareable plate and the fruit bowl was perfect, fresh, sweet and healthy! The waffle and pancakes did have a spongy texture, personally didn’t seem like the recipe was the best or as nice quality. The server was nice and attentive to our table so it made it a great experience.

Google
My husband and I had a delicious breakfast there on our way home from the casino! I got French toast and he got pork roll and cheese on a Kaiser. Everything was fantastic. Every server we encountered was friendly and helpful. Also, if you love goats, it’s a MUST SEE for all their goat decor! 🐐 Highly recommend if you want a quaint little breakfast with a change of scenery from the casino hustle and bustle. 5+ stars, guys!

Google
Patience. Please understand that this is not a fast paced diner. This is like visiting your mom or grandma 👵 for dinner. Everything is cooked fresh and is not assembly line tasting. Everything is cooked to order so you have to be patient. It is worth the wait. Don't take it personal. The crab 🦀 bisque was out of this world 🌎 amazing.

Yelp
Friendly service and delicious food. We Went for a late breakfast and it did not disappoint

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Little Goat Diner in Pleasantville, but it won't be my last! This place is super cozy, but there was no wait for a table & service was prompt. Food came out perfect & fresh & I enjoyed my Nanny Goat combo very much. This came with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns or grits & a stack of french toast! It was very filling & I also got 2 muffins (corn & blueberry) to go which were tasty as well. Coffee was standard diner style variety, but we got it topped off several times which I appreciated.

Yelp
Adorable little diner found by chance . Open only from 8-2pm. Good menu with enough options to choose from. Service was good and servers very friendly. Very good pancakes and my husband really enjoyed his breakfast choice. Plenty of parking. Looking forward to going back .

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place on the way to the airport. Cute little diner! Friendly staff and place was clean. We had the soup special (cream of tomato orzo) which was yummy. Also had a burger which was great and BLT. Everything was good and fresh. We'll be back next time we're in town. Love supporting local establishments!

Yelp
This was the cutest little diner. I was in town for my son's basketball tournament and decided to order from this diner. The food was absolutely delicious, well packed (got it to go) and they were very welcoming.

Yelp
It's a typical diner, cute decor, nothing special food wise. Table of 5, one of our group members was served the wrong meal and it took so long to get it corrected the other 4 ate and then we all waited while he ate alone. Instead of fixing it immediately, we had our time wasted having to listen to the waitress, cook and manager all blame each other (very cringe, you messed up, recook the meal and stop airing your restaurant drama publicly)...wouldn't return. 12/24/2024: To be clear (since the owner replied) this was this diner in NJ not Chicago in October of 2024. I'm behind on reviewing places due to traveling. UPDATE 12/26/2024: I didn't want to return or speak with a manager because in my opinion this place didn't deserve my business again. As stated above in the original review, "wouldn't return" so contacting a manager would have been pointless. I was not interested in returning there. 2 days or 2 months later doesn't change a bad experience, I wanted to make sure my experience was shared for others to help in making their decisions. I travel a lot and usually sit and review in each state/area I have visited as I have time. I also understand mistakes happen, it wasn't the mistake we were upset about, it was the handling of the mistake. The food was wrong, the staff literally stood at the register after the blame game was done by 3 people at our table and then argued amongst themselves at the register. We were at the table right inside the door to the left directly across from the checkout counter, we could hear all 3 of you, just go remake his food and argue later so we can get to the things we needed to do that day!!! Stop making me defend my review, it's not changing. YELP is built to share a diner's personal experience at a restaurant, that's what I did, fairly and accurately. Update 12:26/204: They do AND now everyone who reads this knows that they will have to spend 3 days defending their review because you can't take criticism. Move on.

Yelp
Hole in the wall kind of spot ! Cute decor. Food was so delicious. I love a good steak and egg breakfast. How happy I was to find that they actually seasoned the steak. The eggs were cooked perfectly. fruit was phenomenal on my wife's French toast. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh food. I came looking for breakfast but saw the beef stew over rice. Very flavorful. Also had a butter scotch latte. My new go to home leaving AC. Minutes off the Expressway by 9 and Wawa. Ask for Alice. Tell her Scott Neuman sent you.

Yelp
We found this place by accident on our way out of town, and we were so happy we did. I grew up in NJ, where diners are everywhere, but not like this one. The food at this place was superb! From the way the eggs were cooked, to the delicious pancakes, to the perfectly cooked hash browns, everything we had made us wish we had bigger stomachs, or that we lived closer so we could come here regularly. The service was so good and friendly that we asked if everyone working there was family---they're not, they just work well together and make you feel welcomed. If you're leaving AC like we were, take the detour and eat at the Little Goat, you'll be happy you did!

Yelp
From the time I walked in until I left i felt vert welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious as well, even down to the glass of water

Yelp
Great Little Breakfast/Lunch Spot. Small but very homey feeling location. Very nice and pleasant staff. Ordered a few of their specialty items for breakfast. The chicken and waffles was absolutely amazing! Loads of perfectly fried chicken on top of a very fluffy but also crisp waffle. The maple butter syrup they use was icing on the cake. Fabulous. Also ordered the lemon raspberry ricotta short stack of pancakes. It was a perfect compliment to the savory waffles. Not overly sweet, but sweet enough and a nice tart kick to it. Also ordered an omelette with a side of hash browns. Just perfectly made and a perfect sized serving. Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!

Yelp
What a cute little family ran diner. The perfect place to stop on your way to Atlantic City or on your way home. It's a quaint but clean establishment with plenty of parking. The staff are so friendly, you walk in and immediately feel at home. Their menu has everything you want and more! They also have a specials menu. I had a omelette with bacon, avocado, cheese, peppers, and onions and it was DELICIOUS! It came with a side of hashbrowns which I was asked if I wanted them well done which was a MAJOR WIN; you can also get them loaded with peppers and onions, which I also did. The food was just so fresh and satisfying. Also, the prices are normal diner prices. I would highly recommend trying this place out, and if you're a local be thankful to have a place like this in your backyard.

Yelp
Still here. Food was amazing and the pricing was right. They could go up in price and I wouldn't be mad. Very small and cozy with great staff.

Yelp
The food was disappointing and the customer service was meh. In their defense, I mixed up the times because I thought they closed in 1 hour and 40 minutes, not 40 minutes. I was given Waffle House attitude but not Waffle House taste. Food came out fast but it the special wasn't prepared as advertised.

Yelp
Great place. Prices are great. Dining area is immaculate. Portions are very good. French toast was excellent, made just the way I like it.

Yelp
The cutest little find in Pleasantville! Everything was amazing and the service was impeccable and friendly. The waitress was so good with my daughter. We loved everything we ordered and would love to try many other things. They have daily specials and milkshakes too!

Holly D.

Yelp
Adorable place fun decor and sweet fun happy waitress too but be sure to have lots of patience our first time here and waited 40 minutes for a poached egg waitress apologized but no owner even seemed there to care

Yelp
First, this place is pricey! However, it's sooo worth it! My wife and I were on our way back home after celebrating our wedding anniversary over the weekend. I had the French toast with raspberries, Bananas and drizzled cream cheese icing, no syrup needed. My wife had the banana French toast with some kind of sweet goodness running off of it. We both had the thickest, lightly charred, turkey bacon. It was heavenly, talk about a cheat day, ugh! If you haven't been there, you gotta go. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Great Diner in Pleastantville. Off Atlantic City Expressway. Open for Breakfast and Lunch. Doesn't look fancy from outside but homey inside. Had a great breakfast of waffles and chicken, probably best ever had. All portions were big and good for rest of us. Waitresses were friendly and provided excelente service. Worth stopping for breakfast or lunch on way to and from AC.
google avatar

Meghan C.

Yelp
What a great spot! We came here for breakfast after leaving AC and we're so glad we did. The place is warm and welcoming and both of us loved our omelettes. We will definitely come back the next time we are down this way!

Yelp
Food & Service is great, employees are friendly Personable and they really care if you enjoyed Your food . Even the Chef interacts with the guests . They have a Chicken and Waffle Special W/ Honey sauce that is fabulous.... Definitely a hidden gem...
google avatar

Gregg L.

Yelp
Stopped here for breakfast on a Monday morning and had a very nice experience. We went a little more standard with the breakfast (eggs and hash browns), but the specialty pancakes and french toasts looked like they were worth a try (maybe next time!). Friendly service and a quaint setting made it a nice spot to have a conversation amongst old friends. Wish you were open Sundays and docking a point because I'm a home fries kinda guy!
google avatar

Shaun Y.

Yelp
Tried this place a few years ago when it was JJ's grill. It was excellent then, so we wanted to go back when we were in town. Sad to say, everything had changed. Not only the prices have doubled since our last visit, but the sausage gravy tasted like it was canned and the home fries were a disaster. The biscuit was some sort of cake like mess that was served in a big square cut from a tray? Very strange.

Mary E D.

Yelp
Quaint diner with amazing breakfast. Fresh pancakes with blueberries and bananas were stellar! Nice prices. They even have grits. Will come back again for sure.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
I love Little Goat for breakfast. I have not ate at the diner but typically do takeout. They are fast and always nice. I love the BEC on Kaiser and their French toast. Hoping to try their lunch eventually.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Stopped for breakfast here at the Little Goat Diner thinking and not knowing that this place had a different name or ownership. Order scrambled eggs with scrapple come with home fries or grits. Ordered the home fries with peppers and onions and put them on my eggs. Scrapple was thick cut but pressed down for guessing faster cooking and was very crispy not dry, we liked it. Also ordered pancakes with eggs over easy which were done perfect. All in all place is clean and well kept, service a little slow for breakfast but we were in no rush and clean restrooms. Waitresses and servers are very good. Take a chance you will be surprised at the quality of your meal.
google avatar

Kristine H.

Yelp
We were leaving Atlantic City because we couldn't find any place to have breakfast on a Monday morning. This place exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food, the friendliness of the servers...we were just so happy. Definitely get the loaded home fries!
google avatar

Diana P.

Yelp
Very pleasant place for morning breakfast. Staff was very friendly will definitely come back
google avatar

Constance S.

Yelp
This place is always a joy. Nothing fancy just delicious breakfasts with good coffee and friendly service. If they have the chicken and waffles special get it! The omelets are fluffy and yummy, the sausage and biscuits are hearty and the servers are awesome!

Mimi D.

Yelp
Lovely little step back in time. Cozy and friendly with great breakfasts. Try the chicken and waffles when they are featured.

Yelp
Went in today with a table of 6. The waitress quickly put a table together for us & we sat & ordered. Everyone was very pleased with what the ordered. I had a roast beef wrap with horseradish. It came with a crab bisque that was delicious. The waitresses were all very nice & efficient. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Micheal U.

Yelp
Slow and mean faces from our waitress. Many tables open but was told it would take 5 minutes to seat us. This place is unorganized.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
The food here was so bad, it was thrown in the trash . $28 down the drain. The french toast was swimming in syrup and overriped bananas. The Omelette was salty and the bacon and sausage was dry. I may not have posted a bad review on yelp had the person responded to fb was so rude. This place is truly disgusting!

Rhonda M.

Yelp
This diner was an absolute gem! The wait staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend dining here if you're ever in Atlantic City!! I will definitely visit them again.

Linda G.

Yelp
Another great breakfast. Delicious biscuits and cream chipped beef. Fresh waffle and blueberries. Excellent service from Pam. She makes you feel like you are a part of the family. Coffee is the best in south jersey
