Yelp
My family and I decided to grab breakfast this morning, and this was my wife's choice.
Food
Vegetable Hash Skillet (3/5)
- Well, it definitely tasted healthy. There wasn't much in overpowering flavors. I could clearly taste the zucchini and spinach, the onions and the poached eggs, but... it wasn't anything worth writing home about. I'm giving this 3/5 as I was hoping for a tastier dish. (NOTE: Being most recently from the Midwest, this is actually one of the smaller skillet sizes I've ever seen)
House Salad (4/5)
- This was a good balance of flavors, very well done. It was sweet, salty and savory all in one! While I normally don't do salad with breakfast, this fit well, and I really enjoyed it.
Fried Chicken Benedict (3/5)
- I really wanted to give this a higher rating, but I've had better fried chicken in other places. The eggs were good, but enough to just leave this as OK.
Blueberry French Toast (4/5)
- This was definitely sweet and savory, however, having had the Ube French Toast at Churn Cafe twice now, I can say that this is definitely second. The serving here is very generous and it's well worth it, though.
Service
- Good. (Not included in my rating)
Ambiance
- This was a small eating hall with tables and booths. It would be great for a date.
