We had been to Little India before, the service is great and fast. This time, we were a bit disappointed by the food, though. It might have just been the choice of dishes this time, but it even though it was good the sauces of the dishes were quite „clear“, didn’t have many spices and didn’t taste like they were prepared freshly in the moment. It‘s very nice though that you can choose the level of spice. Level 2 is great if you‘re used to spicy food!

We are visiting Dresden from the US, and I've had strong Indian food cravings during my pregnancy. I have to say, Little India did an amazing job of satisfying these cravings. From the Hara Bhara Kabab to the Chicken Lababdaar and Chicken Biryani, I was blown away by the authentic Indian flavors. The owner, who is from Mumbai, is very friendly and personally ensures your food is prepared to perfection. We've been here three times in just a couple of weeks and will likely return at least once more before heading back to the US.

If we could give 0 stars review we would have given just that . One of the Worst Dining Experiences – Arrogance Served Hotter than the Food If you’re looking for a pleasant evening out, avoid this place at all costs. What started as a simple dinner turned into an unnecessarily uncomfortable and insulting experience – all thanks to the owner’s appalling attitude. From the moment we arrived, the owner seemed more interested in showing off than providing hospitality. Without any provocation, he began speaking in Hindi and quickly switched to English with a mocking smirk, making an uncalled-for stereotype about South Indians not knowing Hindi. Not only was it offensive, but it also showed a shocking lack of cultural sensitivity, especially for someone in the hospitality industry. When we mentioned that one of the dishes was spicier than expected, instead of handling it professionally, he replied in the most condescending tone: “You ordered a level 2, can’t handle it?” The arrogance in his voice was palpable. To make things worse, he tried to snatch the dish away without even asking if we wanted to keep it or replace it. It’s ironic and honestly shameful that someone who is Indian himself seems to have no understanding of the basic hospitality values our culture is known for. There’s a huge difference between confidence and arrogance — and this man has clearly lost his way. Rude service, stereotypical remarks, and no regard for basic customer respect. There are plenty of restaurants that know how to treat guests with basic courtesy. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any of them instead.

We kind of found this place by accident but we are very happy that we did. A big smile welcomed us at the door. As soon as we sat down at our table we were served complementary Papad and sweet and green chutney. They have lot of different dishes to choose from. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options too. A big plus : those were marked very clearly so you didn’t have to read through all the meat options first. Small minus : they don’t serve tap beer or big bottles. But the selection of the drinks is very good. We had one veg dish which was amazing specially the sauce. But we are only giving four stars for food because the lamb biryani didn’t taste like the real biryani. It seems like it was not made quite in the authentic way but rather the ingredients were mixed together shortly before serving. It tasted good but if you are expecting a proper biryani then this is not the dish for you. But they have plenty of other delicious options. Definitely worth a visit. We will come again for sure to try Lamb Kalimiri and other dishes.

So, I can safely say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Dresden. The food was perfect, and the service was excellent. One of the waiters noticed us struggling with the German menu and came over to ask if we would like an English one—that was very thoughtful. At the end, we were offered shots of an Indian alcoholic drink on the house! We will definitely come back to try more dishes from the menu.

Yelp
Amazingggg butter chicken and other chicken with tomato and spice! Level 2 hot was perfect for us, coming from Texas and eating spicy Mexican, Thai, and Vietnamese quite often. But yeah great wine, lassi, naan, etc. Wasn't crazy about the samosas, a bit dry inside - would be cool if they offered samosa chaat but I guess that's "street food" style Indian. Anyway, really good and large portion!

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. On food alone, this place deserves 5 stars. The service is incredible. Owners and servers are super nice and friendly, and go out of the way to make sure you enjoy your meal. The food is delicious. Husband and I split the chicken vindaloo and it was so good. We finished the entire bowl with rice and naan. We also got a few drinks and they did not disappoint either. The reason for the 4 star vs. 5 star rating...2 things. 1. It was so hot in the restaurant. Luckily towards the end of the meal they opened up the front door and it really cooled things off, but it's hard eating spicy food when the inside of the restaurant also feels like an oven. 2. The inside is small, so you're really close to other tables. Doesn't offer much privacy. But seriously, food is amazing. Check this place out while you're in Dresden.

Yelp
If there were to be a war between lamb vindaloo and lamb curry, this restaurant sets the stage. Both lamb plates were culinary warriors using spices that draw out an excellent mix of flavors that is unique to each dish. It is always important to note that Indian food, when good, is truly an art form and the meals were well-balanced in spices, not overly hot, with textures that work well in rice and naan. This is officially our go-to Indian restaurant in Dresden.

Yelp
Mediocre food; service was up and down. The main waiter was nice and was making up for the 1st waiter's tardiness (completely forgot to serve my appetizer). I had the special (lamb in lamb Keenan and sauce). Food was not so tasty. I had big hopes but overall was disappointed.

Yelp
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Dresden, excellent food, welcoming staff and personal attention! Highly recommend! Be sure to make a reservation because space is limited and it's usually booked every day.
