Little Italy Pizza & Pasta

We ordered dinner from here Saturday night for delivery to our hotel and everything was delicious. We were in town for our daughter's travel basketball tournaments. We had the chicken fettuccine, rolls with garlic olive oil sauce, caesar salad and meat lovers pizza. It was all great! We had it delivered to our hotel room and it arrived on time and was packaged up well too. We did the chicken fettuccini deal and it came with two drinks! Very good deal! We would definitely return when we come back to Abilene again.

From services to food... this is by far one of the best places I've been. The calzone was literally the second best I ever had. Only second because my favorite Italian restaurants no longer exist. So if we're being technical now, the best calzone ever! Also, the cashier was so kind and compassionate. I was visiting town due to a sick parent who unfortunately passed away July 30th, the day after my visit to Little Italy. I'm sorry I don't remember the cashiers name, but she left a very positive memory with me and my visit that day. Keep up the awesome work yall! Keep making awesome food too! ♡

Came to experience the food and the location, and we thoroughly enjoyed both! I had the meat Stromboli, and my wife had the pasta sampler. Both dishes were excellent. The folks working here were friendly and it wasn't very expensive either. Little Italy knocks it out of the park!

This place is a great find! Absolutely wonderful Italian food. You'll be hard-pressed to get better Spaghetti Marinara! The Garlic bread is also worth the trip! Little Italy is clean, and the staff is courteous & quick. Great pricing and convenient location make this a must-visit. Forget Olive Garden and save some coin.

I'm from buffalo new York and this is as close to home as it gets. Affordable prices for the delicious pizza and pasta you receive. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

Crust has a fresh bready taste. The Italian sausage is a sliced link sausage, and it is fantastic. The other toppings pale in comparison. Price is excellent for what you get. If I lived in the area, I would eat here regularly.

I have been here a handful of times now and order the slice/salad/drink combo and it's always delicious! Their pizza is authentic and the crust is crispy, salad is always fresh and their creamy Italian dressing is the best! The person behind the counter is always welcoming and friendly every time. They have a variety on their menu, lots to choose from. 10/10!!

We stopped by for a g00d cheese burger and fries. Those french fries were my favorite part! The cheese burger was quite good. We recommend it!

Great pizza. Had it delivered in less than 40 minutes hot and fresh. Decent price too! I would go with little Italy over any big pizza chain every time.

I'm in town overnight. I saw my hotel offers room service spaghetti but figured it was probably not great. So I ordered takeout from an actual Italian place figuring it would be better. And it probably is. I guess I'm used to pasta dishes coming with a salad. The bread is a bit overdone and bland. Nothing terrible. I'm not unhappy since I'm fed for the night. But if I lived here this wouldn't be my go-to

This place is underrated. I ordered carry out..fresh, delicious flavors, good crust. I will hype this place up because they deserve it! Big fan

My sister lives in Abilene and has been talking this place up for several years! She teases me with pics of the food every time she orders! We truly enjoyed this restaurant! It is very small and mainly for takeout orders but we were able to seat 8 in their sitting area. The staff was friendly and hard at work in their kitchen area. The fried ravioli and marinara was delicious! The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. I really enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo that I ordered. It was so creamy and the chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The Pasta Sampler was giving ALL a cheese lover would hope it would! Absolutely delicious! My family and I had such a great time eating in this little restaurant. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy another meal!

Been here twice and the pizza was great both occasions. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and she definitely enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. This is now my go-to for Italian. I just moved here from Las Vegas and honestly this pizza was better than anything I had while living there. Highly recommend this little restaurant if you're craving Italian. Can't wait to try the calzones and sandwiches!

Great pizza and they are so nice and friendly. They get to know their regulars by name and are so kind. I always get a calzone and they're always so hot and fresh. Love this place.

One of the best places to get pizza in Abilene to the WORST !!! Bell peppers and pickled peppers are not the same !!! Overall the ingredients have cheapened ...... crust is super thin and hard to chew. A different pizza all around ...... changed owners or recipe or both? Lost me as a customer.

Not gonna lie this place looks sketchy as hell from the outside - neighborhood it's in, missing neon in the sign, dirty as hell windows - get inside though and the place looks clean, guy behind the counter was nice and the pizza was quite good! Can't judge a book by its cover they say, here's the proof. Go ahead, pizza was good!

Pizza was good, spaghetti looked good, but couldn't eat it. Asked for plates and silverware and napkins since we were in a hotel. Got 1 plate no silver. When I called them the manager hung up on me. Then called back and the person who took my order who could hardly speak English hung up on me too. Outrageous so rude never again...

Deliscious! The XL was all I had hoped for in a thinner crust pie. If big foldable slices are your thing, I highly recommend. I will ask for well-done next time as I like a crispier crust.

Easily the best pizza in town. The staff is awesome and always fun to chat with. Delivery almost always comes earlier than they say. Heads up. They aren't open on Mondays. The pizza and Stromboli are perfection. And the house salad is a pleasant surprise. My family eats here 2-3 a month. Pasta. Pizza. Sandwiches. And Wings! The wings are awesome too. Check it out. This place is sooooo disappointing. Not bc their food is gross... it's just so often inconsistent. Sometimes it's super awesome, sometimes it's God awful. Today was a service issue. I called bc they made our pizza incorrectly. It takes 45 minutes to even get your order, then it arrives wrong! The lady on the phone was kind enough to offer to bring us a new pizza, but wanted to exchange, YES EXCHANGE us for the incorrect pizza. While that might be a solution for SOME people, I'm not willing to make my husband wait for another pizza bc I don't like olives and frozen spinach. So I guess I'll just deal with crap pizza on an order that cost $37! What are their plans for the returned pizza?? Lol! You messed up my pizza, and your solution is to further inconvenience us. Customer retention.... My advice, just order from Vagabond. And don't add basil as a topping to your pizza! It's just the dried herb from your spice rack!

I was craving good lasagna. The kind with ricotta layered with pasta and meat sauce and mozzarella cheese... I'm very disappointed to say the only cheese I got was the little bit melted on top. Maybe that's not Italy, I've never been there but their meat sauce is decent, pasta is cooked al dente. Portion is good, bread is delicious, just wish it had some cheese layer.

Only two stars. One for the nice salad and one for the delivery guy. Pizza - not so yummy. Flavorless is the best adjective I can come up with. Order was wrong - some meat items were only suppose to be on half the pizza and they put it on the entire pizza. Easy enough to pick off cuz the sausage basically was tossed on as an after thought and rolled all over the place. No flavor in the tomato sauce. Crust had potential but it was undercooked in the center. Maybe there was a reason the front desk didn't recommend when we asked. Found a menu in the lobby and thought we'd give it a try. Next time I'll pass.

I've been here 2 times. First time got pizza and wings and 2nd time got the sausage calzone. Both times the food has been really good. Prices seem comparable to other places. Sizes of food is quite larger than others. I'm glad I stopped in to give them a try.

Bummer. I had a two star experience here the other night. My wife was not so generous and said she would never eat here again. Plate #1 - My favorite, chicken parmesan, had the must rubbery chicken I had even eaten encased in overcooked breading with...dark, dark, dark brown crust. Plate #2 - My wife's selection. Ravioli. You get two choices, cheese or meat. She selected meat and after a 1/2 ravioli, she described it as cat food pate'. However, she did like the bread knots. Plate #3 - Spinach calzone. The winner of the night! I've had many delicious dinners here, so I'm not counting you out Little Italy!! The fat man in me knows that there are more delicious meals ready to be served. Just don't repeat the performance from above.

I love this place. It's the kind of pizza I grew up on. Great crust, great cheese and great olives. The wings aren't bad, either.

Really pricey Alfredo was watered down and had no flavor. Pizza is good and Stromboli is good a little greasy but good

I just moved to Abilene and finally found a place that delivers! I'm so excited! The order was here before the delivery time (awesome) and the food was hot and very good! Highly recommend!:) Thank you to the sweet teacher that delivered!

Their pizza is some of the best that Abilene has to offer, much better quality for about the same price as everywhere else! Update 6/10/18: Sadly, the last order I placed with them will be my last. They raised the Min Delivery order to $25 and then raised the delivery charge to $2.99. Plus all taxes and tips you're looking at close to $40 for pizza. And they are closed more Sundays or are simply not taking delivery orders that you place through Yelp and Eat24 than not these days. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. Off to menurunners.com I go.

Nice little pizza / Italian place we stopped at on a Sunday road trip while most other places were closed. Food was good priced, came out quick and tasted pretty decent. It's very small inside which is kind of comforting.

I love this place. Delicious food, great people, I am always very pleased whether dining in or delivery. If I could give more stars, I definitely would.

Just had the best calzone and Caesar salad combination I have had in years. The location is very no-frills but the online ordering was quick and easy and my food was ready quickly and made absolutely perfectly. So glad to have found this gem on my trip

My husband and I dined in, and we both got the supreme stromboli. It was a lot bigger than I expected, and DELICIOUS! Definitely the best stromboli I've had here in Abilene. The employees were really nice too. I'm definitely going back!

Had this delivered while staying at the La Quinta. Very prompt delivery . Came right to our room. Forgot the salad dressing to the Caesar salad but that was the only issue we had. The calzones are amazing ! We had the sausage and pepperoni . The both had amazing flavor especially the sausage. The sausage had a nice spicy flavor which gave it a little kick. Would definitely order from here again.

Just ate ther last night. Had a stromboli and antipasto salad. Both very good and BIG! May not look like much, but give them a try. I think you will like it.

I was staying in a local hotel and the front desk recommended this place for a great pizza. Delivery was available; however, I decided to place a carry-out order. Honestly, I was a little taken aback at the interior appearance - and questioned sanitation standards and it would have been better (mentally) if I would have had delivery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pizza was VERY DELICIOUS! The price was more than fair.

Came into town from Dallas to visit my parents. This place looked good. Ordered a personal pizza one Stromboli and two spaghetti with meatballs. Spent $52.99 today 1-15-2022. They ended up making an extra Stromboli even though I ordered one. The guy who was really sweet and professional asked if I wanted the other cause two were made by accident. I told him to go ahead and I'll buy it. I asked for crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. The lady (older very short haired white lady, maybe she is owner or manager idk) gave me 6 pepper packets and 3 Parmesan cheese packets. I said "can I have a few more Parmesan packets please? " She said "well we normally give out only 3." Like it was an issue with me asking for more. I said " you know what nevermind ." She kept insisting that I take them. She kept saying "no here take" and I said "no don't worry about it." Walked out the restaurant with my food. The fact that I spent more money then what the food was worth and you give me three packets of Parmesan for two adult size spaghetti, personal pizza and two Strombolis. Seems like something small but when I spend all that money and you want to be stingy with Parmesan that don't even cost a lot is bad customer service. My first time trying and my last. I would NEVER run a business like that. So unprofessional! If my customers come and spend good money on food I'm going to make sure they are satisfied and have everything they need for their food. I won't be back. That lady needs to work from home or alone where there are no contact with humans. This is pathetic.

I have eaten Pizza all over the world and this is absolutely the best I have ever eaten. This is as good as it gets folks, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Took an hour and a half for the food to get here only to find out the driver had forgotten half the order. We were told by someone in charge that they were sending another driver out with the rest of our food, after they cooked it fresh again. Then the same driver showed up another hour later with it. And to top it off the food wasn't all that great... Go somewhere else y'all!

Had a Sausage Calzone there Friday night and it was very good. Got it to go and was glad I did, place was a dump. 5 star for the Calzone, maybe 2 star for the actual restaurant. Pizza looked good, but don't think I'd ever sit down in there for a meal

Okay...little Italy isn't the fanciest place to get your pasta but it is definitely my favorite place to go for Italian food. It's delicious, pretty quick. Usually I just grab it to go and I never have any complaints.

They used to have a "I'm too lazy to drive to the other side of town gyro". But the last time I went in there it wasn't available and their service went from bad to horrible. Tip: just take the time and drive to the other side of town.

Staying in a hotel near by, we ordered door dash and was not disappointed. We understand delivery can change the freshness of items however this pizza and pasta we ordered were fantastic! Great flavor and great presentation. Will recommend! I gave 4 stars so i can try it in person to see if there is a quality difference but i highly doubt it.

The order arrived so quickly. I had no clue the young lady was outside until the cell rung and she said that she was out in the front. The food was warm and there were no complaints. Superb job by the driver!

Got into town late in a Sunday and there wasn't much to eat. Luckily this place was open and the estimated pickup time was very short. We ordered four entrees, an appetizer and a few sides. Unfortunately one of our entrees was missing entirely, and one was a completely different meal from what we ordered. We did end up with an extra appetizer from someone else's order, and the food we got was pretty good, but the experience was not ideal. Recommend opening each container before you leave the restaurant, even if the order stapled to the bag reads correctly.

Best Pepperoni calzone I have ever had!!!! Was staying at a hotel nearby looking for anything that delivered late. The delivery arrived 15 minutes early, and the food was amazing. I ordered a Pepperoni calzone with a Caesar salad, and it was a great combination.

This place charges one dollar more for their pizza than what is advertised on their menu. They've been doing this for months. I'm never going back to this place. They said they would change it but this is their business as usual. It's very dishonest and criminal.

If you place an order online, call to confirm even if you get a confirmation text or email. I got two of each and when I arrived after 30 minutes they had no idea and no food. Apparently they dont check the queue very often if they are busy with phone orders. It took 1 hour to get my food and no apology, no offer of anything to compensate for my time. Food may be good but service sucks.

Stopped here on our way back to Chicago. GREAT tasting pizza. Very reasonably priced. The pizza was ready in no time at all, I was very surprised it was done so fast. Friendly people. Will go back.
