Little King Coffee

Love this place. You’ll love it too if you love coffee. This is simply about coffee. They try to make all their own syrups and pastries. They are very good. The syrups are not super heavy on sugar. It’s all about flavors and enhancing the coffee taste. No fraps here.

What a nice surprise! After visiting OstrichLand, we wanted to grab coffee and a bite. The biscuit breakfast sandwich was INCREDIBLE. Quite possibly the best breakfast we had on our visit. The coffees were delicious too! There was a butterscotch drink that was very yummy. Neither of the drinks were overly sweet, which I appreciated.

Fantastic coffee - absolutely recommend for coffee and coffee drinks - but mediocre food. The biscuit is good but American cheese is gross. A simple revamp of the food and this place would be our favorite breakfast go-to. Just upgrade to cheddar or another real cheese and freshly cooked eggs. (If eggs are freshly cooked then they also need an upgrade.) Will try again in a few months. 💖

Nailed the cortado. Correct temperature, correct ratio, proper glass, good espresso shot. Biscuit sandy also tasty. Hands down best coffee shop for 40 miles in any direction.

The place is really nice. The prices were no higher than in a large city coffe shop. Unlikely a large city coffee shop it was so clean that it feels like I’m not in the US at all… It is definitely a good stop.

We were in town for a couple days and need a good crafted coffee and we found one! Coffee was so smooth! Great little gem! The coffee cake with a drip for my husband was a hit!

Stopped in a few days in a row as we stayed right around the corner at Flying Flags RV resort. It was just a short walk for us and something we looked forward to each morning. The Rosemary Cardamom latte was fantastic! Definitely craft coffee that lives up to it's hype- we'll be back when we're back in town. 5 Stars.

Little King Coffee is hands down our favorite coffee shop in the SYV. We always make a point to stop by at least once whenever we’re in town. We had a group of friends coming to town and Grace helped me with our large group order of 14 biscuit sandwiches and even accommodated a couple of our dietary restrictions. Everyone was obsessed with their sandwiches and I couldn’t be more grateful for their amazing service and hospitality towards our large group of gals. We will be back soon!

Came here again with family that's visiting from LA and the whole staff was amazing! Shout out to Kim for making us feel so welcome with 3 wild toddlers and for going the extra mile to give us little tasters before we ordered and kids vanilla steamers! Love that they make their own syrups, and the rosemary orange latte was superb! The atmosphere is so calming and everyone is just so nice! The family loved it so much, we will be back....again!

Came in for a new thrill. I was greeted kindly but the conversation was short lived; i felt the barista resented me. Immediate interior decor was lively and nice, but the yellow kangaroo flowers were dry and dead, and the menu didn't display any tea drinks. I had some tea, maybe a couple of pastries, and that was it. It felt more family friendly rather than a safe place to study. When I went in, I was willing to wait for quality service and products; later found out that QoS was not in favor and received overstepped tea with 3 baristas on duty w/ 3-4 consumers, including myself. Good vibes, but would only recommend to travelers with young kids (park + playground next door) or dog lovers overall.

Whenever my family and I stay in Solvang, I always make a point to venture outside the area to find interesting places. This was one of those places during our recent trip. It's located right by 101 FWY so it's quite convenient for stopping before and after a trip to Solvang. Place isn't that big, but due to its clean decor, it looks bigger than it really is. Aesthetics are quite pleasing and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Someone always greeted us when we arrived and when we left. In terms of drinks, experience is little mixed. I really liked its basic coffee, Americano, and Mint Latte, but its special drink Strawberry Basil Latte was just ok. The drink itself tasted fine but I couldn't taste strawberry nor basil. I saw them cooking the sauce/syrup with real basil so I know it was in there but the flavor just didn't come through. Valley Breakfast Sandwich was pretty good, although a bit on the pricey side (especially if you add bacon to it). It's a biscuit sandwich with a really thick egg (almost like a tamago), hot sauce, and American cheese.

Living locally, I was very excited to learn about the opening of a new coffee shop right in Buellton! Seeing the Instagram page announcing a soft opening, my boyfriend and I stopped over right away to get some coffee. Having a few questions about the syrups, the cashier was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and noted that they were house-made. I ended up opting for a rosemary orange latte while my boyfriend got a golden mylk latte. We waited to the side for our drinks to come out, which they did promptly :) My latte was very good, with the citrus and floral hint from the syrup. My boyfriend said he really liked his latte, which I also got to enjoy a sip of. On their Instagram, I saw that they carry some baked goods from a bakery in Los Osos as well! I knew I had to come back. Today I was able to and got a coffee cake with a cappuccino. Everything was as good as I hoped for! The coffee cake is moist and cinnamony, sweet but not too sweet. And the cappuccino is the perfect strength on the side. Overall, I'm so thrilled to have a new cute coffee shop in SYV! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Cute little coffee shop that I heard of from a coworker. The staff member was super friendly and engaging to the customers. I liked the pastry display at the front counter showcasing the treats. My vanilla oat latte was good. Not superb but by no means bad. I'd say it needed a tad more vanilla to grasp the taste. I would try again in the future!

I finally stopped in to try this place today and it was awesome! It's so peaceful and welcoming inside. They have a lot of space to hang out and get some work done or just enjoy coffee with a friend. I opted for the iced matcha and it was so good! I appreciate that enjoying my drink there meant I had a glass cup versus disposable. Parking was super easy right out front and the staff working were really friendly.

Love this place! Wonderful staff, great coffee drinks and matcha latte- delicious pastries and well behaved pup friendly. Will definitely return! Highly recommend!

Are customers allowed to hold Zoom meetings in your shop? One is holding one right now while I am here. It affects my experience and I will probably go elsewhere if the answer is yes. Yet, I love your service and coffee.

these two drinks tasted relatively similar with the vanilla latte with cinnamon being my favorite out of the two. i wish they were a little sweeter but overall solid coffee spot.

Fantastic quality coffee and technique. They source their beans locally from Coastal Coffee Collective in Ventura. I mention the technique because after going multiple times and trying a variety of drinks off of their menu; all were expertly prepared and crafted. The inside decor with a seated bar encourages you to sit-in and enjoy the experience. Because let's be honest, a cortado in a paper cup just isn't right. Love this place. Love the staff. Genuinely kind people that love making coffee for you. The owners are often making your coffee and make you feel right at home.

I stopped in here for the first time yesterday and ordered the brown sugar cardamom iced latte. It does not disappoint. It is not overly sweet and the cardamom is earthy and warm and perfection.

New favorite coffee shop! My husband and I live 30 minutes away and have been driving down at least once a week. Every drink has been perfect. I've yet to try anything flavored but the espresso they use is so tasty. Their baked goods are also insane, you have to try the rye chocolate chip cookie, we get multiple for the road every time, haha! The couple who owns it is so kind and there's plenty of places to sit inside. Love the vibe and the way they decorated and all of the cups and mugs they use for "for here" drinks are so cute too.

This place is fantastic. Love supporting smaller places. The service was great and they have a lot of great options. The interior is very clean. Great coffee and drinks. Also some snacks. Highly recommended.

What a great new coffee shop! We tried a brown sugar cardamom latte and Madagascar vanilla latte and they were so delicious. Not too acidic, no burnt aftertaste, just smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. Also grabbed a piece of coffee cake that was delicious! I will be thinking about this coffee until I can get back there for another latte and a bag of their beans to recreate the magic at home.

I came in with my wiggly kiddo who was immediately given a fidget toy by the guy at the register--if you know, you know. She was immediately content and I'll be a return customer. Love the assortment of house made syrups and handcrafted drinks. Baked goods are awesome too. Get there early if you're hoping for a breakfast sando!

What a fabulous find on our drive back to SoCal! Super friendly owners, clean & new space, and great coffee. Appreciated the house syrups. The brown sugar cardamom latte was lovely. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Cute coffee shop with minimalistic clean modern aesthetic. There are some unique flavors like rosemary orange & brown sugar cardamom. The brown sugar cardamom latte was a hit if you like chai - subtly sweet with a bit of spice. Only con here is it can get kind of loud and echo-y in here with people around talking.

Cool little family owned business in a neat location! Was packed and joyfully loud on a rainy Sunday morning on our first visit. Arianna was very hospitable and friendly taking our order. The drip coffee was stiff and delish and the cold vanilla latte was Yummo. We even got to meet LITTLE KING himself! See you again soon! A +

Super cute, family owned coffee shop. Very cool ambiance and amazing customer service. A must visit if you're passing through the area but a great spot for locals. They use local bakers for pastries and local coffee grounds. Handcrafted drinks are delish and trendy.

This was great coffee! I ordered an Oat milk Cortado with a little splash of their homemade vanilla syrup. I love being able to taste the coffee, and this espresso was on point! Great quality, I love the simplicity inside and great space to go and sit with a friend or do a little bit of work. I can't wait to come back when I'm in town again!

Great coffee. Cute shop. Nice people! I also had a breakfast sandwich and there was a little bit of a wait for it to be made but sooo worth it. They were also family friendly as I came in with my toddlers. Always a good feeling. We loved everything about this shop and if we lived closer (we were visiting) I would make it my regular place.

Delicious coffee! I had the brown sugar cardamom latte and it was one of the best latte's I've had in a long time. And the breakfast sandwich? If I lived in the area, I would be in trouble because I would be going to Little King multiple times a week. And the owner is super nice and helpful. Great customer service. Buellton, don't sleep on this coffee shop.

Visited yesterday for the first time. Ordered a Matcha and a piece of their lemon bread. The matcha was good had a lot of ice so I felt like I was a little ripped of for the amount of drink to ice ratio. The lemon bread was also quite dry. I feel like I payed way to much for the quality I received The service was good and the people were nice. The Ambiance was Ok but there were a lot of mothers and their kids so a tad noisy but it was probably some sort of meet up so I'm not attributing that to my review.

Really enjoyed our first experience. The perfect addition of a friendly neighborhood stop for Buellton. Greeted by kind, welcoming staff, had a clean comfy atmosphere, and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious coffee/pastries. Don't forget to grab a cookie on the way out! You won't regret it.

Great little coffee shop in walking distance from Flying Flags. Went here 4 days in a row while staying at FF in search for some high quality coffee. Coffee was great and everyone that worked there was super friendly.

This little coffee shop is amazing. I love local places you actually get great customer service. The owner Grace and her crew are amazing. They welcomed me into their business, their customer service was amazing above and beyond any I have received in a long time anywhere. The coffee shop is very clean comfortable and is very appealing to the eyes. I passionately recommend this place.

Wow, what a wonderful new addition to our neighborhood. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Don't sleep on the house made brown sugar cardamom, it had me squealing with delight. The cherry on top was the amazing playlist, so fun! I can't wait to come here everyday for my morning coffee.
