Probably and easily my favourite restaurant bar visit of the year. The menu presented you with “20 varieties of Jeow” which is the essence of Laotian Meal. Unbelievably good and very authentic concept. And the Jeow were very tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest. Cocktails = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love, love the food, drinks, and concept here! We chose Little Lao as our first restaurant in Luang Prabang and couldn’t have made a better choice. The team took such good care of us—special thanks to Took-tee, who kindly showed us around after dinner and explained the story behind the restaurant. We loved it so much we had to come back the last night just for drinks and Joew before leaving. Definitely a must-visit, and we’ll be back for sure on our next trip to LP. The place is always lively and full, so I highly recommend booking in advance.

A quick dinner at Little Lao but the experience is amazing. They are the most professional restaurant we have visited so far. Ms Mai is super friendly and helpful, her English is incredibly good. Food is delicious. Price is too good for a nice place like this. Highly recommend when you go to Luang Prabang.

Lovely place offering Laos style food. More upscale than street food but a nice way to discover Lao dining . With some ambient Lao music . Very enjoyable evening !

Great cocktails and a wonderful experience chatting with the bartenders—especially Mimi, Mod, and James. They were very helpful with choosing the right drinks. The food was surprisingly excellent. A must-visit!

Front of house is the nicest, friendliest person ever 💞 absolutely adore her. Some minor kinks with the order (some mix ups, quickly rectified). The rest of the staff are also lovely. The food is actually really interesting and pretty delicious. The hot sauce (actually dips) selection is an awesome idea and it’s great they’re maintaining the traditional flavours and recipes. The drinks are pretty expensive, but that’s prevalent across most of Laos. We ordered a lot but it was over $30 a person which is a lot for Luang Prabang ~ Came a second time on our last day in LP and honestly I’d recommend this place to anyone as a great introduction to the Laotian way of eating. Get a few Jeow, something in banana leaf and some stick rice. It’s a non-intimidating way to see what real local food is like (not pad Thai, som tam, khao soy). There were other places we actually preferred the Joew but in terms of breadth of choice and presentation Little Lao is unbeatable. Service still needs a bit of work, there was coriander sprinkled on top when we asked for no coriander and a coffee appeared when we didn’t order one. BUT they are very polite and cute.

Sublime. Little Lao Culture Bar is an absolute must if you're visiting Luang Prabang and want an extra special dining experience - you can feel the chefs heart and soul in the made from scratch Jeow and all the dishes. The food, the cocktails, the staff are beyond what we were expecting even after reading all the excellent reviews. Specialising in Jeow (a general term in Laotian cuisine for any type of dipping sauce or paste), the Little Lao Culture Bar has 21 to choose from! We tried 2 or 3 and wish we'd been able to try them all (wow for Jeow! - sorry had to be done ;) ). Unfortunately (or fortunately) we were so enamoured by the food that we didn't take many pics and can't remember exactly what we ordered but we tried a chicken dish and the deep fried Luang Prabang sausage. I wish we'd had a few friends with us as we would have tried everything on the menu, alas with only 2 of us there was only so much we could eat. If I were a Michelin Star inspector I would certainly award LLCB a mention or a star or two! Thank you to all the staff for the unforgettable experience x

One of the best meals we had in Laos. The portions are a little bit smaller but this is perfect to share dishes. Good service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
