Rating: 3.9/5 These freshly made mini donuts come with uniquely flavored sugar, though they are a bit pricey and take some time to prepare. We ordered a large (12+ donuts for $9) and added a Nutella dipping sauce (+$1). We chose the pistachio rose flavor. The rose was very subtle with pistachio being more dominant, but it was still really good. There was so much extra sugar that I saved some to sprinkle on pancakes, yogurt, or banana bread. They’re a great treat, especially if you have the drunchies, but the hefty price tag might give you pause.

OMG—who knew this tiny pink donut truck would be the main character of my sweet tooth storyline? Little Lucy’s is slinging mini donuts with major flavor. Crispy edges, fluffy centers, dusted in sugary magic—and yes, they’re totally addictive. Like, I’ll take a dozen for now and maybe another dozen for after my 3 minute walk home. Doesn’t matter the time - if you’re on Rainey and craving something sweet, and this place is open, this is your non-negotiable pit stop. Eating here = happiness guaranteed. Trust me on this one.

Ok, sooooo, these cute little donuts were amazing. I wish I had words to convey the experience of opening the cute little bag and laying them out with some espresso for my birthday treat with my kiddo. The flavor was on point and I was surprised it all hit like it did, so perfect. And so soft and adorable. I just don't have the words for how fun and perfect they were. Also, I love tiny things, and was so happy with the size. Oh and it was the schnauzer ones that I got--Lavender Pistachio and Vanilla.

The scent of the freshness of the donuts draws you in. Very friendly service and very nice, sugary, warm donuts that are perfect for your stroll down Rainey st. after a night of bar hopping. Don’t forget dipping sauce!

Google

Google
Accidentally stumbled upon this food truck while charging my vehicle at The Domain on a Sunday morning. Didn't plan on getting donuts, but the food truck and the menu were very appealing. Decided to try a small order of the Peanut Butter & Banana and the Pistachio, Lavender, & Vanilla with a side of the Nutella dipping sauce. Donuts were freshly made to order and ready within about 5 minutes. They came out hot, fresh, and straight out the fryer. I ordered a small, but they generously gave me extra donuts in both orders. They were both outstanding. The flavors were strong, deep, and not the fake hint of flavors like other places. You could definitely taste the ingredients were real and part of the batter. This was a nice indulgence that was fun to eat and to enjoy the messiness of eating powdered donuts with a dipping sauce.

Google
These donuts are delicious!! Order the Pistachio, Lavender and Vanilla - so good, sugary sweet and warm. Little Lucy’s is a food truck on Rainey street. Great fix for those with a sweet tooth.

Google
I was having a late night craving for something sweet, so I ordered Lucy's donuts. I ordered a variety pack with 2 dipping sauces. Each bag was labeled on the top corner, so I was aware of the flavor. They were delivered warm and so tasty!

Yelp
My two brothers, our friend and I had their donuts last night, and everyone was happy with what they got. We tried the plain sugar, chocolate & hazelnut, peanut butter & banana and cinnamon & sugar donuts. All of them were solid! They also got the orders out quick too which was nice. Convenient location as well. It was a good experience!

Yelp
Pistachio, Lavender, Vanilla Donut 1 flavor is infused in sugar, no taste Mango Frozen Cream 1 no flavor, plain cream

Yelp
I would recommend this as a treat while walking around Austin, especially after you've had a few drinks! You can customize the "topping" on your donuts, from classic cinnamon sugar to blackberry or even hazelnut. The donuts come out hot and fresh! My only complaint is that they got a little bit soggy from the topping. However, the employee who served me was enthusiastic about the product and extremely nice. I'm not sure if the truck stays stationary or moves around, so maybe check their social media for updates.

Yelp
This is a gem! I'm so glad to have stopped here while on Rainey. Little Lucy's serves hot fresh mini donuts in a wide variety of unique & delicious flavors. I ordered the Bacon, Maple & Rum flavor. While the maple flavor overpowered everything, they were still so soft, warm, and delectable. It really melts in your mouth. If you aren't a syrup fan, I would not recommend getting this flavor. The menu shows orders of 6+ or 12+ so you really don't know how much you'll actually get. I ordered the 6+ and I'd say i had about 10 in mine which was enough for me. The cashier was patient with all of my questions and even let me try one. Apparently the cinnamon & sugar is the most popular but I was feeling risky that day and ordered the bacon, maple, & rum. If this flavor was good, I can only imagine how a regular flavor such as cinnamon and sugar would taste.

Yelp
The donuts come out fast and fresh but the taste is lacking. When you bite into the donut, it's more of a chewy doughy texture that leaves a greasy after-feel. Altogether, I was rather disappointed and would have rather walked a bit further to get some better tasting pastries.

Yelp
My gosh these were SUCH a hit after a recent night out. Cinnamon sugar donuts with caramel AND chocolate dipping sauce was my choice, my friend got lemon-blueberry and we were both super happy to have a late night snack (plus leftovers for breakfast, a double win!).

Rayna Z.

Yelp
I got donuts with pistachio, lavender infused sugar. They were good. I can't say I would get that flavor again, but based on the donuts alone, I would go back and try another flavor. Based on the customer service, I don't want to go back. I mentioned to the guy working that my daughter's name is Lucy and he smirked, got a nasty look on his face and said "I get so many people telling me that, what am I supposed to do, pull a string and have balloons fall down?" Wow!! Having a bad night dude? I will chalk it up to that, but having many years in customer service experience, next time all you have to say is "that's cool." and show a smidge of enthusiasm. It's really not hard. If you're tired of people, you are in the wrong line of business. Find something else to do. The truck itself was super cute and pink.

Yelp
I feel like most of these reviews come from people who had a few shots in from drinking on rainey street. I came here on a thursday night after dinner looking for some donuts, i got the basic little 6$ 6mini donut bag with sugar and cinnamon with a side of nutella. The donuts were very mediocre- not soft at all but rather flaky and even though it was covered in sugar it was just not good. Maybe when i'm drunk it may be good but as is it is just ok.

Yelp
While attending SXSW we were checking out Rainey street. We were so happy to run across Little Lucy's Mini Donuts! The Cinnamon Sugar donuts were just the right thing to appease our sweet craving. We were most impressed with the service and how hard the guy was working for us. It's an added bonus to find someone with a great work ethic during these times!

Yelp
Have been in Austin for 7 years and just now finally stopped for these donuts that I've always seen on Rainey. I got the chocolate and hazelnut ones with Nutella! AMAZING and the person working was an absolute angel! Best customer service and the donuts were delicious and not too sweet or filling!
google avatar

Sandy Y.

Yelp
Little donuts were hot, soft, and completely covered in sugar. Each bag (either 6 or 12 pieces) is one flavor (of choice). Dipping sauces are an extra $1. We ate through the large bag (12 pc) a little too quickly and even contemplated getting another bag!

Yelp
One of my absolute favorites on Rainey Street is Little Lucy Mini Donuts. This charming spot specializes in freshly made mini donuts with a twist--they offer a variety of unique flavors that are truly delightful. During my visit, I opted for the lemon grass and blueberry flavors, and I was not disappointed. The mini donuts were a true treat for the taste buds. The flavors were distinct and perfectly balanced, making each bite a burst of deliciousness. With a total of 10 mini donuts provided, I was able to indulge in a variety of flavors and savor the unique combinations. To accompany my sweet treats, I also ordered a black coffee, which was delightfully strong and added a pleasant kick to my experience. One aspect that stood out was the fast service at Little Lucy Mini Donuts. However, it's important to note that during peak hours, there may be some delays due to the crowd. Nonetheless, the wait is definitely worth it for these delectable delights. I can confidently say that if I find myself on Rainey Street again, Little Lucy Mini Donuts will be a definite stop for me. Their exceptional flavors, quick service, and delightful mini donuts make it an irresistible destination. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience when exploring the street.

Yelp
Little Lucy's Mini Donuts is a small food truck on Rainey Street. Even though the donuts are mini, they definitely pack a punch of flavor! They have a WIDE assortment of donuts and make them fresh right in front of your eyes. You can get six for $6 or twelve for $9. After spending like half an hour taking in the aroma of fresh donuts and debating between flavors, we ended up ordering the Blueberry & Lemongrass donuts. They were SOOO GOOD! Each donut really encapsulated all the flavors and brought freshness to every bite. I appreciated that they weren't oily but still fluffy and easy to bite into. The blueberry flavors paired perfectly with the warmth of the lemongrass. This made the Blueberry & Lemongrass donut an unique experience for sure! When in Austin, I would 100% come back to try some of the other flavors!

Yelp
What a yummy little spot! I ordered a small order of the Italian cream cake flavor with caramel and got way more than 6! I didn't actually need the caramel because the flavored sugar was more than enough! The donuts were warm and fresh and really hit the spot. The person working there was not rude as I read in other reviews, but she was playing on her phone outside of the cart and told me she'd be right with me (which she was). She also left the cart unmanned for a period of time, which I thought was strange. It wasn't busy by any means, but I felt like that could've been a liability.

Yelp
Wanted to like the donuts here (they smelled so good while waiting in line) but was not a fan of the texture or flavor. Texture was soft yet doughy/mushy. The powdered sugar I got was pistachio but it tasted super artificial. Ended up throwing the them away. For me, it was not worth the $6 for 6 mini donuts.
google avatar

Isabell G.

Yelp
These little balls of dough were amazing! And they weren't even little or too big they were perfect. Came out hot and packed with flavor from the great concept of flavored sugar. Wonderful idea and work!! Wish I could have these daily, yum!

Dawn H.

Yelp
We love the donuts Amazing donuts Excellent texture and taste But I recommend telling them very lil sugar sprinkled on them . They need to give customers an option of a mixed sampler . And need a new location the construction is a typical ATX gentrified wreck . . Also recommend they open in the day not just evening for the alcohol patrons but for the common folk as well . Perfect donut but lots to work on .

Yelp
How yummy was this? Okay, to be fair, I may have had a few cocktails on Rainey Street. I couldn't resist the smell of donuts. These soft, melt in your mouth fresh donuts. You can even get dipping sauce for them too. I got 6 and that was plenty. They're pretty rich and filling for being mini. I also got the Carmel dipping sauce too. They were so good. Treat yourself next time you're on Rainey Street.

Yelp
Was pretty excited to try this food truck since we've tried different mini donut places. We ordered 4 different flavors along with 4 different dipping sauces. They kind of all seem the same except if you have a distinct flavor like bacon on the Saint Bernard. The Labrador was very odd, with strong flavor. We only got 2 of the 4 of the dipping sauces which was super frustrating since we picked each for certain donuts. Overall just an okay experience, with missing items we paid for

Yelp
Little Lucy's is THE SPOT for a quick set of mini donuts if you're in this part of Austin, but especially if you need a quick snack at the end of the night. My friends and I stopped by after a night out and got a couple sets of donuts based on another friend's recommendation -- absolutely worth it and the experience is great. Depending on the time of night you might wait a few minutes in line (we waited 10 or so), but that's largely because the donuts are made fresh in front of you. Take the opportunity to make friends bc clearly anyone in line at Little Lucy's similarly has great taste! There's a good selection of donut flavors and sauce flavors so you'll just have to keep coming back until you find the optimal one for your flavor palate! 100% would recommend Little Lucy's!
google avatar

Kellie M.

Yelp
Donuts are amazingly good. Problem was the parking and ability to even get to it. We drove around for 30 minutes and had to give up the first time.
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure what happened last night but that definitely was not my little Lucy's. It's been a while since I've been to Austin and couldn't wait to get to my beloved Little Lucy's. I ordered cinnamon sugar and couldn't wait for my bag of hot delicious donut pillows from heaven.. that is not what I received. A small ribbon of dough smaller than my pinky was not what I was looking for. I thought maybe the recipe had changed but once again, nope- I looked at other current reviews and saw pictures of the Little Lucy's I know and love. Sheer disappointment. If you order Little Lucy's, make sure the product looks like the pictures posted!!

Yelp
This truck is very cute. Very Pink, kind of punk. For $5 you can get a small order of little donuts. I didn't count them but I'd guess it was around 10! I got the peanut butter banana flavor and I think it was too mild for me to taste it. As a regular plain donut I thought they were very tasty, and not super greasy. My friend got the maple bacon one and those tasted like a pancake breakfast with bacon! I recommend that flavor instead.
google avatar

Vishal P.

Yelp
Small little trailer outside. The donuts are really like tiny funnel cakes. Small warm and fluffy. Comes with different dipping sauces. Two sizes, large or small.

Wanakee S.

Yelp
My husband and I visited from Louisiana and ordered twice. So good! Customer service was great and the donuts were hot and fresh. I suggest trying the peanut butter and banana
google avatar

Yelp
Y'ALL... my fiancé and I stopped by with our friends to get one flavor six donuts... we ended up trying FIVE different flavors. SO GOOD! I was disappointed they didn't have a powedered sugar option, but we tried cinnamon, regular sugar, maple bacon rum, Italian cream, and chocolate & espresso. The maple bacon run was absolute fireeeeee. The chocolate and espresso were not nearly as sweet as the others, so I recommend getting a dipping sauce with those if you want sweet. The donuts are really light not greasy at all. The cashier was really friendly and great at helping us pick flavors. ALSO... we were completely sober when we ate these, so they are not just great when you're drunk.

Lauren S.

Yelp
These are the best donuts i've ever had. We came late at night on a weekday and got fast service and fresh donuts.
google avatar

Yelp
I discovered Little Lucy's whilst walking the streets of the Domain, an outdoor mall just north of Austin (locals will know where this is). WHAT A GEM! Once of my aversions to donuts is that they are so large and that the guilt of eating so much haunts me afterwards. I chose with Schnauzer (pistachio, lavender, and vanilla) flavoring with the White Chocolate dipping sauce. Wow...that's all I have to say. Party in my mouth. These were light, slightly crunchy on the outside, full of delicious flavor. In one word I would say, PERFECT. Sorry, I don't have many pix of the donuts. I was busy eating ha! The visual of these donuts are underwhelming but what a delicious combo in a humble package. Run and then walk so you don't look crazy to this food truck. I hope you find it because it's worth it.

Yelp
Definitely a warm and pleasant vibe when coming to get a sweet dessert after our texmex dinner. The attendant was more than helpful and just actually was so upbeat and excited to share favorites. Also added a couple to our orders because we were so torn on what to get and ended up having more than enough and a great experience. My first time here for work and loving the hospitality in this area
google avatar

Yelp
Unexpectedly stumbled upon this place with my cousins when we were hanging out on Rainy St. It's in a cute pink food truck with a picture of a dog on it, so you can't miss it! The mini donuts here are great for your sweet tooth fix! I tried the blueberry&lemongrass and chocolate&hazelnut flavors. I definitely recommend getting the nutella dipping sauce to go along with these. These are easily shareable too with a group because they're just mini bites in a bag that you can just grab and eat on the go! Just be aware though that they have a lot of sugar on the outside that can kind of cause a bit of a mess, so it's probably best to eat them outdoors while you're walking around haha. They also make them fresh and hot, and the texture is so good when you bite into them. I don't think I would go out of my way to grab these, but if I was already in the area, I would get it again!
google avatar

Nali P.

Yelp
Absolutely RUDE staff. If I wasn't a nice person, I would have cursed him out big time. I've never tried this place and WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK. The big guy there, I won't say his race, was extremely rude and very degrading. It was my first time so with the cursive and small font, I didn't see the part where it says "one flavor per bag". I was reading out what flavors I wanted and instead of stopping me, this very disgustingly rude guy stands there, staring at me, and once I'm done, he goes "you must have not gone to school because you clearly can't read... it says to pick one flavor" I was so shocked and asked him why he didn't stop me? And he said "because people do this all the time so he just waits until they finish talking". Wowwww I have never felt so embarrassed and PISSED AF! He not only made me feel so crappy, but he embarrassed me in front of my friends. IF THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT A LOT OF CUSTOMERS ENCOUNTER, THEN MAKE YOUR SIGN MORE SIMPLE, NON CURSIVE, and LARGE!!! "ONE FLAVOR PER BAG" will prevent customers from making the same mistakes. NEVER EVER, EVER GOING BACK!

Reed A.

Yelp
Donuts were okay? Not bad but not worth going out of the way for and unfortunately the man who was working tonight was extremely rude, which seems to be a theme from the other reviews on here. He definitely soured my experience.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
The fluffiest donuts ever. It was sprinkled with powdered sugar flavoring but still super good. I don't mind the sugar if it's worth the calories
google avatar

Prasiddha H.

Yelp
Was on Rainey Street a few days ago and wanted something yummy for dessert after dinner. While walking through my friend had told me about this mini donut place and we decided to give this place a shot! Little Lucy's is a food truck and its the place to go if you are craving some freshly warm made donuts. I ended up getting the large order of cinnamon sugar dusted donuts and these were bomb! I also ordered the nutella dip and got a free raspberry curd dip with the yelp check in. Surprisingly - I really enjoyed both dips as the nutella was chocolatey while the raspberry one was tarty. The warm crispy donuts were soft on the inside and went real well with the dips! Overall, a good place to check out if you want some yummy dessert! I would give it a shot!
google avatar

Megan V.

Yelp
I'm not usually a fan of donuts but WOW these are really the best and the main reason I look forward to going to Rainey street. Sometimes I'll skip the drinking altogether and go straight to Lucy's for a hot bag of mini donuts. Their chocolate and hazelnut is probably my favorite but if you are looking for a more unique (but still tasty) flavor I also like the blueberry and lemongrass. The best part is that the bags always come with way more donuts than what is listed on the sign. Thank you to Jeanette and Cedrick for their exceptional service yesterday! I was not having the *best* night but these donuts turned it around for me. I appreciate y'all!!!

Don L.

Yelp
Stale and lukewarm, overpriced donuts that were not good at all. The guy working last night was also extremely rude. There's plenty of other food trucks on Rainey so wouldn't waste time or money here.
google avatar

Dee Dee E.

Yelp
During my weekend stay in Austin we decided to grab some doughnuts for dinner and omg best thing poppin. I will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yvonne M.

Yelp
Cute little truck with really good mini donuts, got the espresso flavored ones with a cup of hot coffee, perfect little treat!
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
How adorable is this place??? Perfect location nestled in the middle of the domain. Always open. The smell is extremely alluring. These delicious donuts are so good I went back to back. The first set of donuts I chose were the lemongrass and blueberry, tasted like fruity pebbles. The kids loved them. The next day I got the pistachio lavender and vanilla. I don't typically allow food in my car, but that day I risked it all. You can purchase a $5 bag or $7 bag, select your sugaring flavor and add a dipping sauce if you like. Great place, a must try!!
google avatar

Ricardo A.

Yelp
Absolutely worth it! I asked for suggestions and got the cinnamon sugar donuts with Nutella dipping sauce. Light fluffy donuts and they were an incredible pairing with a round of drinks from half step. I love donuts and this is one of the best I have had in my life! Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Protip: Don't go! Highlights: Cute concept and lots of flavors? Lowlights: Not good at all. All the flavors are just different flavors of sugar sprinkled on. Donuts themselves were greasy. I never waste food, but I seriously couldn't even finish half of these.
google avatar

Christel H.

Yelp
"'So let's take advantage and not care about these 'Drunk looking Girls'" ....wow. We stood in line and this Guy did not give AF about what we wanted to Order or how much being in his Headphones doing whatever he may do then getting our Order's wrong completely but telling us they were different. Major WTF moment ever coming from LA to visit Austin. Had a blast on Rainy to come by this spot and get us a snack as we write leaving but I guess it is what it is when you hate your job seeing Drunk people coming and going. Super disappointed even though the Donuts themselves were delicious and hit the spot.
google avatar

Brittany P.

Yelp
how damn cute. seriously. i got the blueberry lemongrass donuts. they're tiny and bite sized. just enough sweet to not make you feel guilty !

Yelp
Thank the Lawrdt that Little Lucy's is still open! During this day I was attempting to run 10 miles around good ol' Lady Bird and severely failed. One because my body was wrecked, but two I hit mile 7 when I got to Little Lucy's (or secretly a true success would say). Typically I stop by during brunch weekends or nights out at Rainey, but alas those times are far gone. In any case I stopped by because I was bummed my body couldn't finish 10 miles and I've been craving Little Lucy's since I saw it on Door Dash a few weeks back. So all-in-all, a win-win-win right? Little Lucy's is almost to the middle of Rainey, right next to Bangers (which is also open for takeout and close delivery!). Very, very hard to miss its bright pink decor. This day I ordered three small bags: Schnauzer (pistachio, lavendar, and vanilla); Saint Bernard (bacon, maple, and rum); and Poodle (blueberry and lemongrass). Aside from the freshness and softness of the mini donuts, I really enjoy that each flavor isn't overpowering. Much like how its sugar is applied, you get a nice dash of say lavender in Schanuzer or rum in the Saint Bernard or lemongrass in the Poodle. I'm not one to indulge myself in super sweets so just eating one is very satisfying for me and I just save the rest! Tips - Requires a face mask to order food! - If you forgot your cash like me, order through DoorDash for pickup - Eat it fresh, and if you can get ice cream! I couldn't because I still had to get back to my car at Austin HS
google avatar

Laurel P.

Yelp
Get these now. If you walk by, and you smell... buy them. They were amazing. We went mainstream with cinnamon sugar only because it was so hard to pick one of the delish flavors. They were warm and scrumptious and we will be back!

Yelp
I was not hungry. It was raining. I saw a donut truck. I ate said donuts. I'm not proud of the decision I made last week when I was roaming around this outdoor mall of sorts. It had started raining and my friend noticed this mini donut truck in the distance and decided that he needed to get some. Being the piece of garbage I am, I figured "why not? I may never come back to this area again" and found myself ordering a small bag of the little fries donuts. The employee working was super friendly and commented on how we were the only people walking around and found it funny that we stopped for some donuts, which we probably shouldn't of done. The donuts themselves were pretty dang good and a small was definitely too big for my appetite but dang, they were too good to put down. Overall, this food truck is excellent and has some darn good little donuts for you to indulge in. If you see it, stop and split a bag!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing I always bring friends and family when they visit and it's a been a great experience each time! One of the few Austin staples still around and worth the trip!!

Yelp
Five star donuts! Have you had Fresh donuts with the perfect amount of balance, sweetness and texture? This place is an amazing little food truck on rainy Street! Boy was I not prepared when I turned the corner on the street! It is a hotspot bar-hopping street! Imagine to my surprise all I came here was for donuts but I got so much more! This is definitely a great location because I can see all of the bar patrons coming here to get the donuts to soak up all of the alcohol. Anyway, back to the donuts! The key here is that they use infused sugars and sprinkle it into the bag of donuts and that is how you get your flavor! We did get a dipping sauce of Nutella, I suppose you can get a plain bag and just use your dipping sauce. I got the peanut butter and banana infused sugar and the hubs got the chocolate hazelnut. I actually liked the peanut butter one better! Absolutely delicious! It is very messy as well. I will definitely visit here before we come back home! A small bag has six small donuts for five dollars and a large bag has more and was seven dollars. The large bag would be great to share if you can decide on one flavor ‍. Oh!! If you check in, you get one free dipping sauce! Save one dollar! Awesome! The girl behind the window could have been a little more friendlier, but I suppose she may be tired with all the action going on around her food truck.

Yelp
As a self admitted donut addict it was super exciting to stumble upon Little Lucy's in the Domain. There was no line which was awesome! They have super fun flavors to choose from and also yummy dipping sauces. I wanted to get the full experience so I asked the guy what he recommended... he seemed pretty annoyed by this and it was awkward. Idk what flavor he finally said as I was caught off guard but I was like yah that sounds great, I'll take that lol. Anyway they were warm and wonderful and tasted delicious! I loved them!
