Takeout only spot down an alley off L Street NE. If you walk the MBT, take it all the way to the stairs on L and then take a left and walk up about a block- the alley is on your left. Door is pictured below. You ring the bell or call the posted number and they bring the food out to you. The menu has basic taco, quesadilla, guac and queso options as well as more unusual taco shop fair like loaded fries and sandwiches. I got the birria steak and cheese. It was piping hot and flavorful. I also added a side of habanero pickles that were excellent. The only thing I would change is the chips, they were stale and not salty. I do plan to go back and try the nachos. Overall a great spot and easy to get to, check it out if you are in NOMA.

Decided to try this place to pick up a taco as Las Gemelas closed. As it turns out, the low rating is deserved/accurate. “Ghost” kitchen which is fine but the taco was underwhelming, especially given it was $6. Homemade corn tortilla served cold, chewy carne asada meat lacking in flavor and probably low quality. Avocado cream/salsa was unremarkable. Positives: Order was made correctly as I requested no jalapeño. Order was ready for pick up on time. Will not return. Do not recommend.

Google
Purchased 3 birria tacos on 2/8/24 around 2:00 pm. Picked up a few minutes before the stated time in the email and wow. I slid through the alley to get there and pay $20 for 3 tacos that were room temperature and light on the meat. To add insult to injury, the consommé has zero meat in it. I think the hype of the use “ghost kitchen” got this place way more business than they’d get if folks knew about the poor quality of food, inaccessible entrance, and meager portions. 3 outta 10 do not recommend.

Google
This is a pickup only location. They have a QR code outside that you can scan to order and will open the door when food is ready. I got the Birria de Res Quesadilla. It was more good than I expected and the meat was super flavorful. I only wish it came with a sauce or sour cream.

Armando Loney

Google
Ordered the chicken questions and a side or rice and beans. The rice is extremely hard, probably the bottom the pot. The tacos were good but was not giving with the side of consommé.

Google
If you want to waste your money in this place then by all means go ahead. I got hungry and decided to order trough Uber eats and the main dish I got was the “Birria de Res Munchwrap” and they advertised it as “Large flour tortilla, slow braised beef, queso sauce, crispy corn tortilla, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, sour cream” I had to pay 19 dollars for it now don’t get me wrong I know delivery apps will charge extra so they can make a profit so assuming this cost 16 for what I got was absolutely crazy I could fit the whole thing in my hand. For the prices they are charging they should be a little bigger portion.

Last night after a fashion show I went to Little Minor tacos. I didn’t realize you had to order online I get to the location and ring the bell and was told I have to order online and the guy just shut the door in my face pretty rude if you ask me…the foo only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating was because of the rudeness I experienced however I really enjoyed the tacos they were delicious..probably won’t be back to this location though

We ordered from Little Miners at the Beer Garden and chose the platter. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food took an excessively long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the tacos were already cold. On top of that, the driver forgot the sauce we had paid for, requiring two follow-up calls before it was finally delivered—without an apology or acknowledgment. For nearly $70, we received bland cheese sauce, cold tacos, and a burrito that was mostly rice with very little chicken. It’s disappointing that this level of service and food quality reflects poorly on the Beer Garden. If you’re dining here, skip Little Miners and go for the burger instead.

Yelp
Little Minor Taco - Thanksgiving Catering Perfection! We had the absolute pleasure of having Little Minor Taco cater our Thanksgiving meal, and I cannot rave enough about the experience! The food was beyond fantastic--every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. From the first bite to the last, it was clear that this is not your average taco catering service. They brought creativity and quality that exceeded all expectations. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the team was an absolute delight to work with. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially given the generous portions and outstanding quality. The value was off the charts! If you're wondering whether Little Minor Taco is a quality operation, let me assure you--it absolutely is. They came through in every way, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional catering. Thank you, Little Minor Taco, for making our holiday so special!

Yelp
The munch wrap is delicious. Love this place. Didn't feel like figuring out dinner tonight and my toddler enjoyed the food too.

Yelp
Like, so totally yum! If you're a nacho fan, the small box nachos here are fantastic. Pretty good sized portion. And just packed full of flavor. And they even deliver well (and that's saying a lot). I'm also a fan of the birria tacos here. The consome is so freaking good. This is definitely becoming my go-to local spot for Mexican food.

Yelp
I am a huge supporter of independent and family own business but Little Minor Taco was a tad disappointing. The local really threw me off -- a hidden pop up kitchen up a non-marked street. We food the place thanks to their strategically placed menu (outside the shop). We rang the door bell and had to internally giggled as the door slowly creeped opened. The lady seems surprised and when we asked for salsa. She shared it must be placed via the Uber apps before she'll toss into the bag. The plain cheese quesadillas were simple and great. However, the "birria taco" style burritos were pricey and disappointing. For the price, we had hope a scoop of guacamole was added to enhance the dish. It would've been nice if an outdoor table been available. We had to trek bother half block to find a public bench.

Yelp
Amazing food! We really enjoyed the chicken flautas and the birria munchwrap. Queso was good but texture wasn't quite right, might have just been an off batch. We didn't realize until we arrived that we couldn't sit inside and had to order takeout, which was our fault for not checking and ultimately was fine. The woman who answered the door was very friendly and brought us salsas that we forgot to add to our order. So many yummy looking items on the menu, we look forward to trying more soon and wish we lived closer!

Yelp
Unfortunately, the new lady working here has awful customer service. I always refer people to this restaurant. I have been coming for years. We have been ordering through Uber eats as well. Our orders are typically $60+ on Uber eats. 1. Our food said it would be ready by 6pm. It wasn't ready until 6:30. 2. We walked a total of 4 times to the place. 3. I paid for queso dip and it was not in the bag so I had to walk back to ask for it. The woman claimed my friend took it, but we looked it both bags and it was not there. 4. I asked for chips. She said "no you didn't pay for it." I said "for the inconvenience of waiting an extra 30 minutes plus walking 4 times back and forth, are you able to give a loyal customer chips?" She said "no." 5. Then, I was about to pay for chips, but I did not want to because her attitude was awful. Plus she acted like she didn't speak English. I spoke complete Spanish for her and then she cursed at me in ENGLISH!!! Wow! 6. Oh and no utensils. 7. The queso dip she handed me was cold and curdled. The way she was acting towards my children and I...I don't trust it. 8. The woman said "you got free kids meals what the f***" why would you even say that to a customer. I have been a customer for years. I am flabbergasted at the disgusting behavior of the woman working there. How dare her curse at me. I used Spanish because she said she doesn't speak English, but I speak BOTH. The ambiance is basura! Dirty and rat traps literally right outside the door. Disgusting. I'm not being nice anymore because of that trifling woman's attitude.

Yelp
I have yet to be disappointed by this little Miner location - whether I am picking up to take home or eating next door at neighborhood bar Nice and Easy (margarita). Nachos with chicken made the whole table happy, especially the fresh toppings and spicy jalapeños.

Yelp
Hey there, lil' miner! The party box for 2 at $51 (really $60+ with tax and tip) is arguably the worst deal in DC but for some reason I can't get enough of this gut box. I just want to know the economics of that box but I also think I'd get angry. They certainly have minimal overhead considering it's located in a dark alley where you're really trapped in a bad situation if danger appears because you can only get out the same way you come in. The thrill makes it taste better. On to the food - Loaded fries - yes. Super tasty. Slightly potato-y on the fries but really no complaints. 9/10 American burrito - come on. The rice is always undercooked but I see other people say that so I just assume it's on purpose. It's messy, falls apart and sits like a log in your stomach. 10/10 Tacos - chicken Tinga is OK. Birria is good, albeit salty. 7/10 It also comes with two drinks! A bag of chips and some salsa would be a nice addition. As others have said, you knock on the door and wait. If they don't answer the door, you call the number which they definitely won't answer. Honestly, just wait outside because you're in their world now. I'll be back soon to risk my life for this 7,000 calorie box.

Yelp
Delicious tacos!! I couldn't find the door at first but once I did it was magical from there out

Yelp
This location threw me off. I usually go to the Brentwood location but opted for this one. I didn't realize it wasn't an actual brick and mortar until I pulled up, so you have to outside for your order. I ordered a fiesta box for 4, and it took much longer to get the order out than expected. Then I ordered agua frescas on the app that weren't available and hadn't been available at that location for a while! I was definitely annoyed but I knew the food was going to be good so I didn't make a huge fuss. Now the food? Always a hit! We got grilled chicken quesotacos and birria tacos, and opted for the chicken tinga burrito. The fries were okay. I wish there was an option to get the dressings on the side so they don't get soggy. Their consumé is delicious and I used it for everything. Show me a birria consumé that isn't on the salty side and I'll give you a $1 Tip: when ordering, there's a section at the bottom for extras like SALSAS, guac, sour cream, and more. Please use it. The salsas are no additional charge. I got to try the cucumber lime mint for the first time and it was good, so I'm glad they didn't have what I originally wanted or I wouldn't have given this flavor a try. Some of my favorites from the other Little Miner that you should definitely give a try: -chicken tinga Crunchwrap -loaded fries -nacho box -all the quesotacos

Yelp
Little Miner Taco at the NOMA location is nothing short of amazing! We accidentally placed our order at the wrong location just 10 minutes before closing, but the NOMA team went above and beyond to help us out. The cook himself opened the door and made sure our order was prepared with care, even though they absolutely didn't have to. The kindness, professionalism, and dedication to customer service blew me away. If I could personally give that cook a raise, I would without hesitation. This kind of service is so rare, and it truly made our experience unforgettable. On top of that, the food was as incredible as ever fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This specific location of little Miner Taco has earned a lifelong customer in me and my boyfriend, and I will most definitely be coming back! Thank you, NOMA team, & Especially the amazing and kind hearted cook for turning a small mistake into such a positive and memorable experience. Those tacos were the best tacos i've had in years! I hope they have the best holiday season this year :) Happy thanksgiving

Yelp
Despite seeing the negative reviews on Yelp and positive reviews on Uber Eats, I wanted to give this Mexican restaurant in North East, DC a try. I found out that this is not a restaurant actually, it's basically a catering business that you order and they bring it out to you from their kitchen building. I literally waited no more than a minute. I parked my SUV on the street and gave them a call upon arrival. I opened my passenger window and the friendly staff member named Rudolpho assisted me with a smiling face. Thanks Rudolpho! I ordered the fiesta box for two as well as two bottles of mineral waters. Everything totaled up to $49 for the food + $4 sales taxes, but because I was awarded for $5 welcome discount, I ended up paying $48. The Birria tacos were excellent. The consume was a little salty but not overwhelming which I enjoyed. The burrito was super cheesy and the grilled chicken inside it was so delicious and seasoned well. The loaded fries had various sauces on them and since I personally love food that has a combination of sauces this was perfect. Inside the bag were plenty of napkins and utensils if you don't want to get your hands dirty, though I didn't use them since I went all in.

Yelp
Little Miner Taco in NoMa is fully online order pick up/delivery. It's an interesting concept for pick up because you just wait outside a door for them to bring out your order. I got the chicken tinga and carne asada street tacos. Super good tacos, I got a side of two of their salsas (which are free). The tacos themselves appeared bigger on the pictures they have on their online menu but still a good portion if you get 2-3

Thea L.

Yelp
Little Miner catered our office holiday party (for about 70 people). The food was fresh, delicious, plentiful, and delivered on time. The staff were gracious and informative, and provided assistance with setup, including sterno and racks. All of this contributed to a successful event!

Yelp
Unfortunately this is an overly expensive and worse Taco Bell. $80 and our order wasn't correct and no way to contact them for my money back. It lacked flavor and was incredibly overpriced for what we did get.
google avatar

Yelp
I went to Little Miner Taco for yelp's Be My Elite event and got BOGO queso. I thought the queso was ok- I thought it could have been a little more flavorful but the chicken munch wrap was delicious! Not super crunchy but all of the flavors were very good.
google avatar

Yelp
There is barely a store front. You have to order on the app (toasttab). There is no place to customize your order. The app has lots of issues, for example my giftcard would not apply credits. I ordered the new build your own bowl bowl and it was very very sad and over priced. Do not recommend

Yelp
Delicious Tacos, great service! Mannnnnnnnnnnn it was soooooooooooo good bro I swear!!!!!!!

Yelp
So I hate to review this low, but it needs to be done. This location is in the alley behind REI. I was surprised by its location but also happy - the food at the other locations is pretty respectable. Ordering for pickup here has a couple steps. One needs to order and pay first on Tock. The door is locked in the alley and no window exists. After ordering I went to the door and after ringing the door bell and knocking several times someone answered. So far no huge issues. What ultimately bothered me was a burrito that was mostly (undercooked) rice and a tiny amount of meat and cold. Nothing else on it - so glad I had some hot sauce in the fridge. Was it worth the $14? Not even close. This was way below mediocre. Is this place even associated with Little Miner????
google avatar

Yelp
This place is definitely associated with LMT! Ordering is super easy through their website, littleminertaco.com. Once you get to the location, there's an A frame that is clearly labeled and has instructions to ring the doorbell on the door. We got our food at the time they listed on the app. Food was delicious. 10/10 hidden gem

Daniela S.

Yelp
Everything here was fantastic! Food, was good. Service was easy and fast and the staff was wonderful!

Yelp
Wanted to like this place so bad after seeing the hype on instagram. I tried to pick up 4 online orders from the DC location on Congress St NE. When I arrive to pick up my orders, there was no sign on the door to indicate that I was at the right place (keep in mind it's located on a side street with limited lighting and the entrance looks like a random unmarked door). The door itself was locked and there was a tiny sign next to it that said "ring bell". I searched everywhere and there was no bell to ring. Eventually when I called, someone picked up and said the order would be ready soon. I waited almost 25 min and a man finally came out with 2 out of my 4 orders. He said he just needed a couple minute to get the other 2 orders together. It was a whole THIRTY additional minutes from that point to when he next came out and only gave me 1 of the 2 orders I was still waiting on. At this point I had been waiting almost an hour outside. Finally after 15 more minutes of waiting, he came out with the 4th order. At this point, I was still trying to be positive and enjoy the food, but when I got home and pulled everything out, the birria consume broth was missing for the ramen. I felt so bad for my friend that had to eat her ramen dry. It was almost comical after the amount of time we waited. Ordered the chicken tinga burrito and the chicken tasted dry and flavorless. The birria tacos and birria burrito were okay but since most of them had been sitting out almost an hour at that point, they tasted stale and soggy. We also had almost no cilantro on our birria tacos so all of us felt there was definitely something missing flavor wise. Anyways, I honestly would have dealt with all the chaos and price gouging if I at least received everything I paid for. But for now, I'm going to stay away from this location until improvements are made. Suggestion to anyone else looking here: Ricebar is down the street and they have birria tacos for way cheaper and excellent fast customer service.
