The food was average, I loved the atmosphere and music downstairs. I like the place overall but I gave it 2 stars because of the drinks. I purchased 2 margaritas that were watered down, I even ordered the second one with top shelf tequila. I couldn't taste any alcohol. If you plan to party here make sure you drink before you come here.

Great bartenders with nice drink specials. The food was pretty lackluster. Come here to drink, not to eat.

Stopped in for a casual mid week meal and some drinks, I will not be going back. The food was alright, but the service was very disappointing. Our bartender made a mistake when placing the order, and ended up bringing us the wrong food. We attempted to get his attention multiple times, but he was too busy chatting with co workers and playing with his phone to notice. More than 10 minutes passed before he checked in and realized a mistake had been made. Same story with the check. We sat at the bar with empty plates and glasses while the bartender played with his phone. Wasn't even busy, we were one of 3 tables. There is no shortage of better options in the neighborhood; I would suggest you try them instead.

Food was terrible!! Waffles too way too long and they tasted like flour. They also messed up my friends order who is a vegetarian and they gave her pork. This place has a lot of potential but my friends and I will never be back. Service was also subpar. Update: the manager gave us half off our bill since “we didn’t have a good experience.” I’ll give them another star for trying to rectify the situation. I’d come back for mimosas but I still wouldn’t eat here.

I like everything about it from decor to food, they even have a pool table in the back staff is extremely personable. I cant wait to see what comes of it since new owners took over! Shrimp empanadas are good, tacos are good as well. If you want to save a few bucks on food go on a Tuesday. Over all if in wicker park check it out!

My girlfriend and I were walking by and noticed what looked like a celebration and film crew inside. We slowed our walk for only a couple of seconds to see if there was something special going on. Please note: We did not enter the restaurant nor were we in view of the cameras filming. All of the sudden, two of the extra film-crew members standing outside (who were doing nothing but also starring inside) started being very disrespectful and yelling at us. Their level of disrespect was appalling. A third crew member got out of the van parked right in front and threaten to assault me, was very profane, and used verbally abusive language. My girlfriend and I had to rapidly leave fearing our lives might be in danger. All for what, because we slowed down while walking past a restaurant? They could have just nicely told us that we were disrupting their ability to work or something and asked nicely if we could not stand where we were (on the sidewalk, outside, for only 2 seconds....). I don’t know what kind of people visit this establishment, work at it, or do side jobs for it - but my girlfriend and I are now very uncomfortable walking near it. We will certainly not be visiting anytime soon.

The only way I’d be back is if someone paid me to come see them smack the manager! If they make any mistake she will be mad at you and ask you to leave! Words to the wise: fix the errors and you won’t have an attitude! The customers would actually help you get more customers if you actually pay attention to the complaints. However, the racist woman clearly can’t handle simple complaints that actually would help in the long run. There’s so many places in CHICAGO better than this place, go to any of those. If you want some recommendations just let me know. I’ll help you find a better place where you treated nicely and great food with the CORRECT ORDER. 😘 And no Amy I will not take this post down so don’t even ask!
