A northeast Fresno standby appreciated for a dedicated vegetarian menu alongside standards like kung pao, pot stickers, and pan-fried noodles. The restaurant’s site shows consistent hours and makes it easy to plan a casual weeknight meal.

Lot of vegan options. My dad loves meat but he really loved the the two vegan dishes that we got and shared (vegan beef chow fun and eggplant pan fried noodles). He said it’s way better than the Chinese restaurant we usually go to where he normally gets the real meat, so we’ll def come back. It’s not very traditional so my mom didn’t care for it, but I still liked it. The eggplant and mock beef was more like a tempura (crispy puffy batter).

The environment inside are so comfortable, I ask for chicken salads they provided very fast, the taste are great, the chicken are crispy, and the salad dressing are excellent, and fully enough to eat!!

Food was very delicious and the business owner was so kind and very welcoming. I would come back here no questions asked. Great restaurant and a better owner!

Tried several dishes at Little Peking. It's a small older sit down restaurant. Very dated but they decorated in red which makes it quaint inside. I tried the X.O. Shrimp which was the special with steamed rice. It was good and flavorful. I'd try again. Also ordered the shrimp chow mein which was okay and the orange chicken again okay. I wasn't a fan of their shrimp fried rice but all was fresh so I will say that currently they have the best Chinese food in the far NorthEast Fresno area. The service was nice just not a lot of flavor beyond the special dish.

☆☆☆☆UPDATE☆☆☆ Holy smokes!!! Delicious!!! NEW OWNERS have not disappointed at all!!! The Honey Walnut Shrimp is PHENOMENAL!!! THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! Finally, found a Chinese restaurant which could easily turn into our first choice to eat. Especially on a Monday, since most other Chinese places are closed. Yum!!!!

Flavors were awesome and food tasted really fresh. A huge variety of vegetarian options, were clearly labeled. Huge portions as well.

When I visited for the first time I was met with excellent and friendly service at the front counter. At first I was skeptical of the prices which seemed high, but after receiving my order I feel this was more than fair. The portion sizes are massive, enough to feed 2 or maybe even 3 people with just one order. The boxes were filled to the brim and heavy with food. Not only was the portion very generous but also delicious, the taste was great. The interior was also pleasant, it feels more like an authentic family restraint than a modern chain restraint which is my preference.

Delightful local Asian restaurant. Generous portions, great flavor. I've been coming here off and on for years. Quality never fades.

Yelp
12/13/25 Soup weather continues. I called and ordered their chicken noodle soup and Crab & Cheese Rangoons. The worker was kind and said it would be ready. Arrived! Greeted by kind worker and ordered was ready and received! Paid for it with an "Enjoy!" walking out! Great!! Restaurant is nice. Safe & clean! Plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy there if you want. Lunchtime! Chicken noodle soup was Really DELICIOUS!! Tasty noodles, fresh broccoli, GREAT amount of tasty chicken and the spicy oil to spice it up and make it even better!! Crab & Cheese Rangoons were DELICIOUS too!! Tasty, crunchy Greatness and sweet sauce included making it even better!! Lots of leftovers! Great service & GREAT lunch! Highly recommended!!

Yelp
TLDR We would have been better off going to Panda Express. deep breath ok. Where do start? First of all, we hear that this restaurant has historically been really good, and our family in Fresno has ordered here multiple times in the past. But then, it changed ownership a few years ago, and has apparently been on a steady decline in quality. Let's set the stage. It was Christmas evening. We called in the early evening (around 5pm) to ask if they were open. They were. Score. We have a family member in a rehab facility and wanted to get take out to bring it over so we could have family dinner. Starting at around 6, we tried calling to place an order. No one picked up. Ok. Maybe they are busy. So we just drove over. The restaurant was busy, with all tables except one full and there was a line for to-go orders. When we went up to place our order, the hostess told us we had to wait an hour for our food. After a quick debate, we decided that we could work around this and shifted our schedule accordingly, with the expectation that we would pick up the food in an hour. We order, and I leave a nice tip (like, nice for a sit-down meal, which means it's REALLY nice for pick-up/take-out) because I can see they are slammed and this is Christmas. This was 6:25pm. We arrive back a little over an hour later, at 7:30pm. We walk in, and the hostess tells us 20 more minutes, maybe more. This is where I start to get a bit...irritated. I ask her what happened. Apparently there were ingredients they didn't have or prep they had to do -- what she was saying didn't make complete sense. She kept saying it'll be quick now, but over 20 minutes after an hour+ wait is not "quick". I asked which dishes were not prepared so we could just get a refund for those. She said she didn't know how to do that because we paid with a credit card (?!). It felt like deflection. I also heard loud arguing coming from the kitchen. At this point, we felt trapped. So we sat down in the dining room with other customers waiting for food, and we got to talking. Some people were waiting upwards of 2 hours. One person ordered ONE dish and had waited over 2 hours. Another ordered through DoorDash and the order never came, so he drove over -- also close to 2 hours. His kids were over for Christmas and had to leave because the wait was too long. Another DoorDash customer came in, saw all of us waiting, sighed deeply, and plopped down in a chair. Finally, our order was ready, after nearly 2 hours. I reiterated that I left a generous tip before this fiasco and asked if she could toss in an extra sesame ball or just...something to acknowledge that the original time estimate was BS and our time was not being respected. Her response? She took out a wad of cash and told me other customers were tipping her. Like, what? What even was the point of that? I think wishful thinking overtook realistic capacity. But if that's the case, be upfront. There is no shame in saying you can't fill orders. Don't con people into thinking you can do something when you can't. This felt greedy -- Christmas Day as a windfall, taking whatever orders they could without recognizing they couldn't actually execute. Now on to the food. The food was mediocre at best: * Green beans -- one of the only ok things. * Salt & pepper fish -- nice flavor, slightly soggy instead of crispy. * Crispy tofu -- not crispy. Soggy. * Mushroom chicken -- meh. Extremely saucy, sauce everywhere in the bag. * Vegetarian chow mein -- CLUMPS of noodles stuck together, barely sauced. Very mid. * Finally...the orange chicken. THERE WAS NO CHICKEN IN THE ORANGE CHICKEN. It was ALL FRIED BREADING. See the pictures. I almost went back to ask what in the actual f*ck I was looking at. Most dishes were lukewarm. It felt like some items sat out for over an hour. Honestly, gross. 2 stars because...I didn't get food poisoning? I dunno. There's little redeeming here. I'm so disappointed in the service, the lack of integrity, and the open dishonesty. Serving fried breading and passing it off as protein is just unacceptable. If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm fairly generous and try to give family-owned businesses every benefit of the doubt, so the fact that this review is what it is... Lesson learned: never pre-tip, and if they say the wait is an hour, that means they don't actually have a handle on their workflow. Either they're conning you into paying when they can't deliver, or they're helplessly incompetent. Maybe both. Shame on me for having faith in humanity.

Yelp
How this restaurant is rated so highly is a complete mystery. We tried them tonight and the first thing when we opened the door was smell this off-putting odor coming off the food. I'm a chef who cooks Chinese food taught to me by Chinese cooks (who got me back into the habit of msg, iykyk), I have run the gamut of ingredients and none of them smelled like this horrid smell. The Szechuan Beef was about .5 lb of onions (we weighed it), very little beef. The fried rice tasted like it was reheated from three days ago. I won't even bother to go into the Pork Foo Young except to say the gravy was absolutely disgusting. Good people of Fresno, I detest Panda Express and I say to you... you'd be better off there unless this restaurant gets it together. I know times are hard, especially when it comes to ingredient costs and such but we're already paying more than we should for garbage food. I hope they shape up and deliver food that doesn't make us worry we'll end up in the ER.

Yelp
This was my first time going here and we enjoy Chinese food often. We liked it but didn't love it. We ordered the sizzling rice soup, orange chicken, pork fried rice, pork egg foo young and the green bean beef. The egg foo young was the highlight with the green bean beef being a close second place. I was a little disappointed with the pork fried rice, it looked great but didn't have a lot of flavor. The orange chicken looked great, not too orange, but the taste was average. We paid $68 for all of this which seemed high but their portions are generous. The restaurant is mainly set up for takeout. They have a few tables and a TV playing a vintage NFL game. The space looked clean and organized.

Yelp
I recently tried Little Peking by placing an order online for pickup. The system was easy to use, and I was excited to grab my food. A quick note on the restaurant itself: it's definitely designed to be a takeout spot (my opinion)--the dining area inside is quite small, which is totally fine since I was just picking up. I got the Chicken Fried Rice! It was flavorful, fresh, and a very generous portion size. Definitelyade to order, II was really happy with the quality of the food. My order was not ready at the promised time, which meant waiting an extra 10-15 minutes. It wasn't the end of the world, but worth noting if you are on a tight schedule. However, I have to give huge kudos to the friendly staff at the counter; they were very welcoming and genuinely nice, which smoothed over the delay easily. My only other minor frustration was when I realized I needed soy sauce after getting to my car. I quickly went back inside and asked for sauce and was only given two small packets. Definitely a moment where I felt like they were being a bit stingy!

Yelp
This was one of those random places we stumbled upon and I'm glad we did. We've ordered a few times already and the portions are huge! We've never actually been inside to order, it's just been through DoorDash but so far everything has been great! They have a lot of options and are worth the price. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good Chinese food spot!

Yelp
I'm excited to try more dishes! However, I found the double battered spicy eggplants to be quite off putting. While I understand the use of double battering for shrimp, chicken, and other proteins for presentation purposes, it seems unnecessary for eggplant. I ended up removing all the batter from the eggplant. On the left is a Chinese donut, and on the right is the spicy eggplant.

Yelp
I recently came across this restaurant on my Chinese food recommendations. I called in my order, the lady was really nice and didn't rush me off the phone. She told me my food will be ready in about 20 minutes. Which was perfect because it took me about 20 minutes to get here anyways. When my family and I arrived, it was a little hidden, so I would have never seen this restaurant just driving by. We were greeted and the lady in front asked how she can help us. I told her I called in an order and she said, "thank you so much for choosing us for dinner!" She made me feel like she really meant it. Which I appreciate so much. Food was ready and packed by the time I got there. It was reasonably priced as well. When I got in my car, we opened the containers of food to check to make sure we got the correct items. They were correct and it was so packed and steaming hot! It looked and smelled soooo good. We couldn't wait to stuff our faces when we got home. Flavor was really good and I love the fact that the fried rice was not soggy or tasteless. The color was perfect so we knew the flavor had to be amazing. We only tried a couple of dishes since it was a small group of us and don't like leftovers of Chinese food... We are looking forward to trying more dishes here the next time.

Yelp
Under new ownership with the same menu. It's still good vegetarian/vegan options. Portions are huge and service was good and fast. It was my bf first time and he enjoyed his meal. Great meal for the value. It was a great meal, just different than what I've had for many years with the precious owners.

Yelp
I am absolutely dissatisfied and, to some degree, disgusted. On December 15, 2025, I ordered five items of varying types: shrimp, chicken, beef, and an appetizer (+$60.00). Seeing a few of the other reviews rang very accurate for my mother and me. The Szechuan beef was overflowing with sauce, triple-loaded with onions, and had only 6-7 pieces of meat--a similar experience to the shrimp and broccoli. The orange chicken consisted mainly of small pieces of breaded chicken, covered in raw garlic, and I couldn't tell it was anything related to orange. One of the employees is sick with a cold and is coughing on "everything." The shrimp was double and triple-coated, old, and dried. Over the past 15 years, the restaurant's quality has declined. We will never return.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in Fresno! My fiancé and I were looking for authentic Chinese food and wanted to give Little Peking Restaurant a try. I am so glad we did! Food tastes so fresh and so delicious, and the portions are huge! I got the garlic chicken over noodles and it's now my favorite meal of all time! Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying we were loyal Hunan customers for 20 years (RIP Hunan) and were incredibly disappointed when it closed. We were looking for a new Chinese food place, and I worried we would be kind of hard to please after so many years at another restaurant. But this place was amazing so I encourage you to go. We came here late in the evening on Christmas and everyone was starving so first of all: don't judge this great place by the _terrible_ photos I captured! People were digging in before I could get photos. This place is small and informal, but very clean and comfortable. During our visit, there was only one other table of people eating in, but there were many, many pickups for to-go orders. When we arrived, the friendly guy who was our server said it would take an hour to get our food, which we appreciated knowing up front. It did take about an hour, but the food was great and it was our choice whether to stay. So no complaints about the wait, and gratitude for being told ahead of time. Not many places are open on Christmas so I had the sense they are a popular place but were busier than usual. We appreciate that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu, although we ordered mostly meat based dishes last night, so we can't speak to those offerings. We had hot and sour soup, egg rolls, green beans, steamed rice, mu shu pork and chicken chow fun. Everything was excellent and we enjoyed all of it. I think everyone's favorite was the chow fun. Everything was fresh and made to order and seasoned well. There was also soy sauce and chili oil on the table if you wanted to adjust seasonings at all. We liked that the mu shu pork came pre-rolled -- it's much easier to eat that way!-- although often times we're used to a bigger portion of the mu shu pork (more than will fit in the pancakes) and we eat the remainder with rice. It also seemed like they used a (very very salty!) sauce on the mu shu pork instead of the more familiar mildly sweet plum sauce? We still enjoyed the dish though. The service was super friendly and attentive and the server brought us refills on drinks a couple of times (because of the long wait). It was a really good experience, delicious food, friendly people, a comfortable setting and a reasonable price. We live fairly far away but we will definitely come back and I think this will be our new go-to for Chinese food in Fresno.

Yelp
The name of this place piqued my curiosity and the many positive reviews I read here. So far, Little Peking has not disappointed me and is just what I was searching for. Peking is the Cantonese translation for Beijing, which is the national capital city of China. I enjoy Peking-style (or Northern Chinese) cuisine because the food is generally cleaner tasting and less oily, and the meat dishes are flavorful and very tender. (A common misconception is that Chinese food is very oily and heavy on sauces.) The Princess Shrimp is essentially Kung Pao Shrimp without the added peanuts. Upon trying it, I thought the shrimp were plump and perfectly cooked, the sauce was not too heavy or overly seasoned, and the vegetables were fresh and crispy. I see why it is a popular dish here. The Lemon Chicken has a delicious lemon and honey sweet sauce and a crispy coating to the chicken. It is a nice alternative for those who like the sweet and sour chicken or pork but are open to trying something different. The Mongolian Beef, however, remains the best-tasting dish I have tried here. The beef is so flavorful and very tender with a slightly crispy exterior. Cooking it in high heat retains the moisture inside the meat and vegetables, and the dish is prepared quickly. Little Peking has a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well. There are tasty lunch specials and dinner combinations that come with either steamed rice, fried rice, or pan-fried noodles. The dining area has seating for 20 people. The food is very good, authentic, and inexpensive. With the closure of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Fresno, Little Peking is quickly becoming my new spot for authentic Chinese dishes and dumplings. It may be worth noting that this tiny restaurant is completely managed and run by a married couple. The wife takes the orders at the counter but is often in the kitchen doing the cooking along with her husband. On occasion, they will have another person help prepare the dishes. Little Peking is a popular spot for take-out orders and catering, so keep this in mind and exercise patience and understanding when you dine here during lunch hours and busy weekend evenings. On busy Friday nights and weekend evenings, try to order ahead or come in 90 minutes before closing. They will not always answer the phone during busy hours since both the husband and wife team are in the kitchen cooking.

Yelp
We have been patrons of Little Peking for years. However, we have not eaten there recently. Today we ordered lunch consisting of the Peking Salad (i.e. Similar to Chinese Chicken Salad), and Chicken Chow Mein. The Peking Salad ($13.50) was disappointing, the lettuce snd chicken was good. However, the dressing was terrible! Our Chicken Chow Mein ($15.00) lacked flavor, seasoning and vegetables. The dish was very bland. It made me wonder if there was a change in ownership or chef. My previous dinners tasted like homemade Chinese food. Very disappointed.

Livjot S.

Yelp
The sweet and sour vegetarian entree is so good! Their service is very fast and there are very nice. They also give you such large quantities of food!

Laura H.

Yelp
The food is usually delicious but tonight I went in and ordered and she got it wrong. She told me "that's ok u will eat it." told her no I really wanted what I ordered. So she fixed it by giving me sweet n sour chicken instead of pork.

Yelp
This little hidden gem is fantastic find if you are looking for take out Chinese food. They are located on Cedar and Nees in the little strip mall behind the Johnny Quik. They offer lunch plates, dinner plates and also ala carte. You won't be disappointed in the selection and they definitely won't leave you hungry. The prices also won't break the bank. The restaurant is small, nothing fancy but cute and charming. The woman working the counter and taking the orders was friendly and courteous. They do have table setup if you want to dine in. I was ordering take out for dinner so I decided to order their combination plates. I like that they had options from what they call a mini menu to add on to their plates. I chose to order their combination #3 . This comes with all of our favorites, an egg roll, two pieces of fried shrimp, two big scoops of fried rice and your choice of an item off of their mini menu. I ordered sweet and sour pork for my plate from their mini menu. I ordered orange chicken for my husband. The only option not offered was chow mein. They do have a combination plate with chicken chow mein but I prefer vegetable so I did an ala carte order of their vegetable chow mein. My total including a soft drink for myself came out to about $30.00 which is a good price for the amount of good you get. The food was delicious! The egg rolls and fried shrimp were nice and crispy and not greasy. I loved the sweet and sour pork. Just right amount of sauce. The chow mein was delicious and had plenty of vegetables. My husband really liked their orange chicken. The fried rice was very good too. We will definitely be ordering take out from here again.

Yelp
Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Fresno! general tsao's chicken is the best. Love how they have vegan options.

Yelp
Delicious! I've been going to them for years! They have all the usual items, but they also have really tasty vegetarian options too. Plus they're fast and friendly :)

Yelp
The best honey walnut shrimp I've ever had. So good!!! And consistent. They are quick but I recommend calling 15 min prior before pick up

Michael M.

Yelp
I have crossed this place off of my list. The chicken chow mein was half chow mein half noodles. I asked them about it and that was how they serve it. It barely covered one meal for my wife and I compared to other places where there's at least some leftovers.
google avatar

Nicholas C.

Yelp
Could not get to Yelp fast enough to leave this review because I was just demolishing my plate. The food has so much flavor and tastes so fresh. We ordered the spicy chicken (extra spicy) and the chicken chow fun and loved both dishes. Also service was great and restaurant looked really clean. 10/10 can't wait to go back and try more. Also noticed a lot of vegetarian options.
google avatar

Jonathan M.

Yelp
The service was very good and the lady who attended my dad and I was really nice. We ordered a wonton soup, shrimp fried rice, and spicy chicken. The food was great. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
The food is great here. I have just a few favorite Chinese food places I go to. This is one of them. Price for two people was not bad. Service was great. Nice people. Pleasant atmosphere.
google avatar

Jarrett B.

Yelp
The service in this place is very disgraceful. While we visited this restaurant, our order was given to another customer, the owner did not care about it. There was no apology either. Also, we were not treated well at Little Peking at all. We will certainly never return to this place again. The food is mediocre at best, and the ambience is nonexistent. Terrible experience at this restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
This is another restaurant that my Vegan son found for us to try, as per usual he was delighted that they had a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian food on the menu. I ordered the #4 pork chopsuey, pork fu yung, pork fried rice. I give it a 2 out of 10. But my son and his GF loved everything they ordered. They got, zisling rice soup, veggie chow mein, veggie fried rice, veggie pot stickers and general tsaos chicken (not chicken) they gave it a 9 out of 10, not a 10 because they don't provide any kind of chili sauce or dipping sauces for dumplings besides chili oil and soy sauce. They will be going back, me.... Not so much lol
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
I ordered #2 combo it came with sweet sour pork and Peking chicken from mini menu and was so disappointed cause it is the worst Chinese food I ever had at my age of 78. Sweet sour pork came with small pieces of breaded chicken meat and so as the Peking chicken and they were floating in sweet sour sauce. The chicken meat were tasteless, very little fried rice, and came with no small bowl of soup. I barely touch the food and my wife was complaining for me. The cook came out spoke to my wife asked if he can give us a discount. We got a $5 discount. I told my wife to stop not to worry about it. I'm not complaining but I'll make sure Yelp knows about this place. I did tell the lady that works there that I will never come back here again.
google avatar

Juana S.

Yelp
I went to Little Peking for the first time today and it was amazingly delicious. The lady was very friendly and helpful. They have a vegetarian menu and regular menu. I am vegan and at times it's hard to find restaurants that offer vegan options. I really recommend this place!
google avatar

Dawn A.

Yelp
I loved this place. I was visiting from out of town and looking for a restaurant with vegan options. They have a full vegan/vegetarian menu, in addition to carnivore menu. I was by myself but ordered 4 dishes, which were huge. I knew I'd have leftovers for about a week, and I did. I was traveling but always being a cooler for food. I ordered the orange 'chicken', fried noodles, chow fun, and hot and sour soup (very hard to find vegetarian). It was around $36 for the food, and it was very well priced. The food was so good, and when I'm back in Fresno, I'll go again.

Henry L.

Yelp
The former hidden gem is now a dirty rock. Little Peking was my goto Chinese takeout place for over 25+ years. It has always been a place where you could count on tasty Chinese comfort food at great prices. Unfortunately, my last takeout order was a huge disappointment. They ran out of one of their best dishes (chow fun noodles), which never happened before in my 25 years of ordering takeout. The new ownership also made significant changes to the other dishes I ordered and every item was changed for the worse. All food items were either more bland or less fresh ingredients. The worst part of my experience was while we were eating the hot and sour soup we found a small metal wire in the soup that would have been very dangerous if swallowed. When I reported the discovery to try to help the restaurant not make the same mistake, the front counter lady gave me the number of the owner or manager so I could pass on the information. She ended up giving me the wrong number so chances are they will likely make the same mistake and allow a metal wire to get into the soup. I hope the new ownership goes back to the original recipes for all of their dishes. I'm so sad to have lost my goto Chinese takeout place.

Yelp
I used to come here ALL THE TIME and I've moved out of the area and have still never found anything that compares. The vegetarian Peking chicken is amazing with the pan fried noodles. Sweet family owned business. We actually had our junior prom dinner here with a decent sized group. I will always love this place.

Bryan C.

Yelp
How does this place have such good reviews? I just ordered through door dash. Got the spicy beef and the s&p wings. The chicken doesn't taste like chicken, it doesn't really taste like much at all. The spicy beef is also just extremely bland. I asked for fried rice as my side and received plain white rice. Throw some fucking msg in this bitch. Tempted to just eat something else.

Yelp
This is our fave Chinese place in the area. The flavors are delicious. The food is fresh, not greasy, and includes lots of vegetarian options! Our favorites are the Spicy Eggplant, Fried Rice, Potstickers, and Lemon Chicken!

Yelp
Changed ownership. Not the same food. Returned my meals twice. So sad. I miss the old food.

Yelp
One of my favorite little spots! I cannot tell you how many times I've been here-for years- and it's just as good now as it was back when I was younger. This is a little spot, they have about 8 tables for dine-in and they do to-go. I don't believe they do delivery. The place is a little dated on the inside and could use a dusting, BUT don't let that fool you. The prices are GREAT for what you get- and it's all freshly prepared. They usually just have one person in the front and probably the same in the back, so be patient, I promise it's worth the wait!!! Honestly, it will go by quickly. My recommendations: Princess Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Chow Mein, Pan Fried Noodles. They have great lunch specials that are $5-$8 per plate, you get to pick the main entree, you get either steam or fried rice or pan fried noodles and a drink. What a DEAL!! You can take it to go or dine in. Also, did I mention that, for me, these are like two lunches, because they serve such a great size. For my husband it's just one meal, but still a great price for a great meal. I love Little Peiking, and have for years!! A MUST try! This time around, we came for lunch and were seated immediately. (At 12 on a Monday) we got our menus promptly and ordered. I think we waited about 10 minutes for food, but like I said, they make it when you order and there were other folks waiting for their food and to go orders. My husband ordered the orange chicken lunch special with pork fried rice, and I ordered the Princess chicken (my favorite thing here) with pan fried noodles. I akin princess chicken to kung pao chicken minus the peanuts. Also They served it over the noodles, but I'm sure they can do side by side too. This time, I also tried their sesame balls with red bean filling-YUM! These are slightly sweet and have a great crisp, but softness to them. And 3 for $1!!!! Overall, a very enthusiastic 5 stars.

Yelp
I can't comment about the ambiance, service or cleanliness because we ordered delivery tonight. I had the wonton soup, steamed rice and Szechwan beef. I asked them to add veg to the soup and they did. The soup was perfect. No mushy vegetables and the broth was very flavorful. I haven't found Szechwan beef this good in a long time. Ordered from several other places and it was horrid. Tender velveted beef with a slight char on the outside with onions, hot pepper pods in a rich sauce. Doing the happy dance. Only negative is I thought it was a small portion for the price.

Yelp
Ate here with a friend last week. The food was excellent and there was lots of it! I had the green bean chicken with pan fried noodles and fried rice. Our vegetables were not overcooked and the sauce had a good flavor. Food was not greasy. Prices are good as well. Our server was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
This place is our go to place for Chinese food! We weren't sure about trying at first but once we did we have reached about it to every person. My favorite is the spicy beef, chow mien and chicken fried rice!

Yelp
This place has been my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in Fresno for YEARS! High quality gourmet Chinese food for a low price, what else could you ask for? It is family run by a husband and wife who are really good people. The place is very authentic in terms of ambiance, brings me back to China! If you haven't had this before, I recommend you give it a try!

Yelp
I'm Vegetarian and they have one of the biggest menu accommodating to that and Vegans. The service is great and the food is delicious.

Yelp
Hit and miss kinda place. Since I do speak Chinese, I think I have a slight advantage. The recent reviews are on point. The problem they are having is under staff. I even had them turn my business away due to not having enough manpower to cook. The positive about this place: price. Cant beat it. One thing I do not like is the msg. Def can taste it.

Yelp
Hadn't eaten here in years, until recently. We popped in on a whim and were pleased to find that it was just as good as it was years ago! Food is nice and hot and fresh. We had one of the dinner specials for 2 people which was enough food to feed at least 4, or for leftovers the next day. The curry chicken is also great. They have a vegetarian/vegan menu available as well! It's a little hole in the wall place but definitely worth trying if you're looking for good Chinese food.

Yelp
I love the vegan menu! I'm not even vegan. Every item I get slaps. Particularly love the garlic chicken. The entree sizes are very generous.

Yelp
Their Vegan options are so good! They offer the mei fun noodles, veggie fried rice without egg, and several meat alternatives to name a few!

Yelp
Terrible. Worst food in Fresno. Absolutely no taste or flavor. Threw most of it out. Would never try again. My clue should have been that when I went at lunchtime, I was the only person in the restaurant. Try something else!

Yelp
I don't get it. Tons of good reviews, but I don't see it. I've never had a problem with beef and broccoli anywhere. Not even Panda Express, so that's saying something. I just didn't like the sauce. Typically, these kinds of meals come with chow mein, but not here. Just white and fried rice, which was also largely forgettable. So pretty much what I ended up was a meal I ate because I had to. Sorry to bash your favorite, or potential favorite spot, but the beat thing is the price Imabigdeal@yelp.com

Yelp
I've been going to Little Peking for 17 years, and the wonderful people that run the place also make wonderful food. There is an extensive vegetarian menu as well as all the meat items (and they are knowledgeable about keeping the two separate so that vegetarians need not worry about any cross over). The veggie items (& meat dishes too according to my meat eating family members) are so well done and they are fairly priced after all these years. This business maintains integrity, quality, and safety consistently. They have also kept such safe practices for customers getting take out during these trying times. As a nurse a can also attest to the safety measures being taken at Little Peking, and I wouldn't expect any less.

Yelp
We've been going here for over a decade. It's a small local business, so we love to support. Our favorite is the wonton soup add rice! So simple, great comfort meal. Always great service too!
