"People in Cleveland might have different opinions on how to properly plow a driveway, but we can at least agree that Little Polish Diner has the city’s best pierogi and Polish boys. This is the kind of place that still thinks it’s 1997—they don’t have any social media, or even a website, for that matter. Their juicy kielbasa, served in a pillowy bun and topped with sweet barbecue sauce and creamy coleslaw, might be difficult to hold together, but it tastes incredible, and it’s easy to see why dads have been grieving Browns losses here for decades. Google
Tiny little diner serving up big European favorites like perogies, cabbage rolls, Meatloaf or paprika. Worth checking out. Note: Since COVID they are carry out only!

Google
Our group was hesitating on which filling flavors to order, and she offered to give us an extra dozen pierogies for free so that we can try them all! Been craving polish food since spending a few days in Warsaw last year and decided to stop here as we road tripped and passed Cleveland. Prices are great for the combos, taste was authentic to the flavors I experienced in Poland, and service was fantastic!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/5 Stars!) If I could give The Polish Diner more than five stars, I absolutely would! This hidden gem in Parma serves up the best authentic Polish cuisine in Northeastern Ohio, delivering flavors that transport you straight to Poland. If you’ve been craving your mother’s homemade cooking, look no further—this is the place where tradition, flavor, and comfort come together in every bite. From perfectly stuffed pierogi to hearty, flavorful stuffed cabbage, every dish is crafted with love and authenticity. But the real star? Their zrazy dish is to die for! Tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—it’s a must-try for any Polish food lover. The portions are generous, the flavors are rich, and the experience is nothing short of amazing. It’s worth every mile of the trip from the eastside to indulge in these unforgettable meals. Do yourself a favor—order ahead and stock up on the best take-home meals for the week. But The Polish Diner is more than just takeout—it's a taste of home. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked! This is Polish comfort food at its finest. 💙🥟🔥

Google
This was my first time here. My husband and I both ordered their daily special, Chicken Paprikash, and it did not disappoint. It was extremely flavorful and a very good serving size for the price. I'll definitely be going here again.

Google
Great authentic Polish food in generous portions! Be sure to try the cabbage rolls, pierogis, or the Tour of Poland for a sampler of these favorites. Best for takeout as seating inside is very limited.

Molly Anne

Google
This is an excellent place for authentic Polish carry out. The food is delicious! You get that home cooked meal just like family used to make. We have visited now twice, each time we’ve been in town and we highly recommend the pierogi’s and the cabbage rolls.

Elizabeth Nelson

Google
This place is 4 hrs away from me but can't stop thinking about the pierogies. They have the best pierogies I have ever tasted in my life. I don't care if they're savory or sweet, I eat them all. Thankfully I'll be up there the second week of May and you can bet I plan on getting me a belly full. Wish you were closer.

Yelp
A quaint little place in Parma's Little Poland neighborhood, this diner is simply about the food. It is no frills, no thrills, delicious Polish/eastern European food. I've had Pierogis and Paprikash there and both were authentic and delicious.

Jason T.

Yelp
Ate here today with my parents and sister to try this place out for quick bites and trying out another Polish food called pierogi for the first time. We had definitely brought different kinds of pierogi to share together to at least satisfy our taste. It was definitely great and delicious. The service there was also patient and attentive. Finally, I will come back again next time when I visit Cleveland.

Francine S.

Yelp
Love the pierogis! Fresh Hot! Cash only ! Would highly recommend! Only carryout!!

Joshua K.

Yelp
quaint. Home cooked Polish food. Best perogies in town. If you are in the area you have got to stop buying and get the tour of Poland

Yelp
Ohio does not play with it comes to polish food and this spot did not disappoint- tiny place like- lives up to its name for sure- sweet service, very friendly faces- good prices and best of all- BEST POLISH FOOD. Portions- out of this world, variety, come on- wow. They don't offer seating, so do what we did and have a polish picnic in the park- grab extra napkins because you are going to be salivating before you get to the park- spot on! The pierogis, sausage, cabbage roll, beans and butter roll were all part of the tour of Poland- everything you could ever want. My friend got the BLT- "best BLT I've ever had" go On already- get you some food from the Little Polish Diner-

Conor M.

Yelp
First, you cannot eat inside. It was disappointing because I really wanted to enjoy an authentic Polish restaurant experience. The gentleman who took our order was polite; however, he had been smoking cigarettes outside of the back of the building when we parked...and my sister insists that she tasted a hint of cigarette flavor on one of the potato pancakes that we had eaten...which - the menu says that three come with the meal, but only two were in the container. We also had the Tour of Poland. The food was good; the pierogies were not as flavorful as I had expected. I would eat here again, but only if I were very hungry. For the price we paid, we were disappointed in the overall experience. Also, while inside, a woman answered the telephone and was not the most cordial on the telephone.

Kymberly H.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible place for pierogi and polish cuisine! We can't wait to be back in the area to eat here again!

Teresa W.

Yelp
YUMMMM! So I had been here before years ago, and honestly don't remember being that impressed. Decided to give it a go again because when I'm home visiting I need my fill of Eastern European food and have been on a quest to find a suitable replacement for Sokolowski's (RIP). I came on a Friday so I could get some cabbage and noodles along with my tour of Poland. Everything was delicious! The cabbage rolls were so tender and the sauce was amazing. The pierogis were slathered with butter and onions as they should be. The kraut was heavenly. Not too sour but rather sweet and the kielbasa was juicy. Heck, I even liked the canned green beans. The cabbage and noodles were delicious. Definitely tasted some garlic in there. I'm actually going back this Friday to do it all over again. I think I found my spot :)

Greg M.

Yelp
Very good. Had two different perogie dinners, shrimp and fries, and cabbage rolls. The cabbage rolls were crazy good and big! Perogies were smallish, but with 5 in an order, plenty of food. Fried shrimp is fried shrimp, though the fries had a twang to them. Should have got the breaded pollock, cabbage and noodles. Next time... Service was polite and friendly. Walked in off the street, told 15 minutes to make. Just enough time to go to the bar next door and have a beer. Carryout only, in soote of the pictures ypu see on Yelp.

Jeff A.

Yelp
Too few good polish restaurants and this serves up the taste of Poland. We love finding authentic places on our travels and sharing them with you.

Humphrey F.

Yelp
Most delicious and unique pierogy with 6 different kinds of flavors I have ever tried, the sauerkraut is beyond my expectations and the sample of mixed sauerkraut with sausage is quite successful even though I didn't use to enjoy sour food! The amount of food is munificent enough to support my whole day! Just hope eat-in can resume one day.

Stacey R.

Yelp
I've never been here but after seeing the pics of the perogies I want to!!! They look like my grandmother's, so many hours in the kitchen making each one, singing and dancing to her polka music! The memories of walking into her home, as far back to my first memory, the smell of butter, onions, and the sweet sweet smell of noodles wrapped around potatoes . Oh I miss her! Looking forward to the smells and memories when I try.

Ted D.

Yelp
Came here after the R&R HoF to introduce my wife's family to Polish food. We were not disappointed. The pierogi were incredible and the stuffed cabbage (galubki) were like my babcia put on the table. Recommend this as a stop when near Parma!

Olivia C.

Yelp
Ok. It's a dive. I say that with love. It's always my first stop when I'm in Ohio. Pierogi are authentic and properly filled. Delicious potato pyzy dumplings are my favorite Food tastes like it did back in the old country. Not fancy. Not Instagram sensation. Just real, everyday Polish food. How do I star this place? It's difficult. Go get some pierogi or pyzy and decide for yourself.

mengzi w.

Yelp
Have nothing against the restaurant but central and Eastern European food just doesn't interest me other than roasted pork and some of their beef dishes and of course sausage. Wanted to try out pierogi today. They have many flavors, surprisingly the best I like was the sweet blue cheese, the worst was the stuffed potato, and I imagine if my favorite kielbasa were used as stuffing I would have liked it better.

Yelp
After finishing a hike at West Creek Reservation I went onto Yelp to find a place to grab a late lunch and one of the options was the Little Polish Diner which I had heard good things about. Since they offered a reasonably priced fish dinner I figured I would give them a try. Found street parking right across the street. Inside I found out why they call the place Little, the restaurant is a single wide storefront diner that looks like it was decorated by Grandma. The friendly staff informed me that they were doing takeout only since if they had people seated they could not provide 6 feet separation from those waiting to takeout. After reviewing the compact menu and the specials board, I decided to go with the lunch special of a fish sandwich for $5, instead of fries I choose the cabbage and noodles. The order was ready in about 5 minutes and I went to my car to enjoy it. Imagine my surprise to open the takeout box to find a large, but thin whitefish fillet, nice and crispy topped with cheese on a nice sandwich bun with lettuce, a huge portion of the cabbage and noodles, plus coleslaw and tarter sauce. The fish sandwich was very good, the cabbage and noodles were excellent and the portions were exceptional. When I am in the area I will be back to the Little Polish Diner, great basic food well prepared and an exceptional value for the money. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Kenneth P.

Yelp
food great. so much extra! made to order with care. employees are great. just go!!!! had the sausage and pierogi. legit!

Joe G.

Yelp
I can honestly say that I wish I had never stopped into this hidden gem because now I can't stop returning..lol. Prices are spot on and the quality of their food is absolutely fantastic. It's a shame they only have their chicken paprikash on Saturday because I could eat it every day

Bill W.

Yelp
They don't even keep their advertized hours! I drove a out 30 min to get there and they were closed. If you're in Parma go the Das Schnitzelhaus.

Michelle W.

Yelp
Such a gem of a place! I was visiting my in-laws, was craving pierogi and found this place on a blog listing the top places in Cleveland to get pierogi. The pierogi dinner (6 pierogi) with a little side of coleslaw and a dinner roll was a nice portion. They even let me get 2 each of 3 different flavors. They are doing carryout only right now, so I called ahead and they were fresh and warm when I picked up. They smelled so good, I ate them in the car in the parking lot.

James T.

Yelp
Had stuffed cabbage (Golabki) Kapusta with smoked sausage Cucumber salad Blintz with strawberry topping. Stuffed cabbage plain sauce Tasty pirogies-Had cheddar filling and sour cream. There are 6 different fillings. Shop is small area with couple tables and chairs and a counter to order. No indoor seating to eat. Can eat next door at bar if you buy something to drink, also nice metro park with pavilion near by and picnic tables there to.

Corinne K.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food!!! And at a reasonable price. The portion was so large, my husband and I shared one meal.

Will D.

Yelp
Absolutely delish, authentic Polished food! Made our visit to Cleveland extra special!

John J J.

Yelp
So, we took a trip to Cleveland from Columbus for an overnight. On the way back, we skipped breakfast so we could have a nice filling lunch here but NO, all they do is takeout. I'm sorry but this is how Covid has made businesses lazy. There are 4 two tops in this place and 2 bar seats and people can't sit down. Set some places and let people sit. We were supposed to take food out and drive 2 hours home to enjoy it. C'mon dude, you wanna be a McDonalds, then be that...wanna be a restaurant where people can come to be social and enjoy a meal, then be that...I'd prefer the latter.

JJ T.

Yelp
1/11/2024 just got another outstanding meal, of 2 stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes and green beans, if you love or just like stuff cabbage, this is the place to make you love stuff cabbage, been going here for several years, never a bad meal, thank you for keeping your great food !!!!

Jim C.

Yelp
Little Polish Dinner has the best stuffed cabbage and they are big and delicious. The cabbage and noodles are fantastic, pirogies and the Polish Boy is great. I only wish this dinner was closer to home, I live in Elyria and I drive to Parma for the best Polish food ever.

Casey J.

Yelp
Very cute little diner. Take out only on the day we were there. Very nice people working there. We ordered pierogies (excellent). The special of the day was meatball in dill sauce with red potatoes and green beans. My husband loved it! I ordered pork roast with mashed potatoes and green beans. Loved every bite. We also got potato sorrel soup. Saving that for tomorrow since we filled up on the other items. During our wait we visited with the regulars there. Very delightful stop. You should give it a try!!!

Ronald M.

Yelp
This is one of those hidden gems that you hear about when asked about great places to eat! Homemade Polish cooking that can't be beat! Highly recommended!

Gregory P.

Yelp
I have been getting takeout from here for a few months now and I remain impressed each time. I never went here pre-pandemic so I have yet to experience their food as "dine-in" but so far even after my 30 minute drive home it is delicious.- Their dine-in space is small but nice and clean looking. The lady that works there is always friendly and professional and at this point knows my voice and what I'm going to order when I call.q

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Found this hole in the wall restaurant and wowsers did it deliver. The pierogi were awesome! Clearly freshly made and cooked. We both loved our entrees. Would've been nice to have indoor seating available though.

Bernardette E.

Yelp
Can't remember when I was here, but we wanted to sit down for lunch. Staff was kind of snotty when we asked about sit down. Didn't know it was carry out only. We expected a "diner" to be a sit down restaurant. Didn't even look at the menu. Very disappointed.

Michelle O.

Yelp
Love this place. Passing it for years- on Ridge Rd. Never was able to stop. Finally today we stopped. Food is you would guess Eastern European. Pierogi, Cabbage rolls, kielbasa and kraut. Even meatloaf. My partner got the Tour of Poland. Kielbasa. Kraut, pierogi, and a cabbage roll. She loved it. Loved it. And I got the 2 cabbage roll dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. Completely delicious! I would eat that again but I'm stuffed. Cabbage roll was full and had great tomato gravy. The mashed potatoes were flavorful and great. Green beans are canned. Meh. But I get it. I also got an order of the chicken noddle soup. It's definitely homemade but had little flavor I added salt and pepper. It was okay. Would I go back- YES! Cannot eat in. Only take out. Call ahead and order. They had to layoff staff because of the pandemic. This is a place that needs to stay. Go order and eat at home you won't be disappointed. I should have taken a pic of my food but I ate it all. Next time.

P M.

Yelp
Darling little authentically local (as if you were in grandmas kitchen) diner where you can choose from so many versions of homemade Perogies. Tried 6 different ones which were all delicious. Sweet cheese version was exactly as I remember like homemade blintzes. Stuffed cabbage role was excellent. Wonderful service and the women who took our order was so gracious. To-go only so be prepared for take out and enjoy elsewhere but so worth it. When the women found out we were from CA, she was so appreciative of us trying her home made delicacies. I highly recommend little polish Diner in Parma, OH which was close to Cleveland. I saw a sign that if you purchase drinks in Bar next door you can bring your food from their diner. Enjo

Rob C.

Yelp
It is only a carry out right now but the food was great. I thought the portions were large for the price you pay. Definitely will be back.

Bernardette E.

Yelp
Take out only! Did not place an order. We wanted to sit down & eat. Didn't seem very friendly.

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Finally made it here, very good, but didn't know it was takeout only now. It was an experience to eat cabbage rolls on the way back to Columbus.

PE S.

Yelp
Living in the south I don't always find Polish food so while up in Akron for work I looked online and found this little gem. Many choices on the menu, I went with the Tour of Poland and got potato cakes as well. Everything was really tasty and filling. Kielbasa was my favorite thing. Cabbage roll & pierogis were great too. Definitely a good meal. It didn't taste like restaurant food, it tasted like I was at someone's house sitting at their dining room table. 5 stars if it wasn't carry out only. Somehow I missed that on some other reviews.

Sara C.

Yelp
Very clean inside, friendly staff and quick service. The food, whoa, the food. So delicious, tender pierogies, perfectly seared kielbasa and the freshest cucumber salad ever. Definitely a little gem worth supporting.

Stephen H.

Yelp
This little Polish diner was recommended by a coworker. There are only about 6 tables in the entire place. The food is good, especially pierogis. Everything made in house. There are many non Polish entrees and the lunch menu is scaled back a bit. They feature as a special the chicken paprakash which is big and delicious. Everything was very good. Inside is sit down-waitress service. Ticket times are about 35 minutes so plan on being there awhile. Park along side of building. Easy in and out. I've resisted the whole Cleveland 'Polish boy' thing as that is a Cleveland dish you dont find anywhere else, until now though I've never tried one. Another fact is that Clevelanders pronounce Kielbasa as 'Kielbossee' which I've only heard in CLE.

Les L.

Yelp
Stopped in to give it a try. Tried the potato spinach and Italian sausage soup which was amazing. My wife got a apple butter porkchop meal. The pork was Moist and sweet. I got the tour of Poland meal. The sausage and kraut was spot on. The potato pierogis was tasty. Once they reopen the eat in area. I can't wait to try more food from them.

Lisa F.

Yelp
Every time I'm in Cleveland I always stop in to get my favorite potato & cheese pierogis the best ever. Owner is very sweet & kind. Service is on point just be mindful kitchen closes earlier then 7:00pm.

Dennis G.

Yelp
Just a little hole in the ground place on State Road. A few parking spots are right in front. Ordered the polish special, perogi, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes and sausage. Only complaint is that the sausage wasn't a good Polish sausage, not really any garlic, but good. Did not have to wait long for it. Take out only.

Sarah F.

Yelp
Place is amazing. Got chicken paprikash it looked so good I forgot to take pic. Def home made and amazing. I can't wait to try more stuff here. Support your local restaurants people. This place is a must.

Katie J.

Yelp
The perogis are delicious, we got sweet cream, potato and cheddar, potato and farmer's cheese, and sauerkraut and mushroom. Great kielbasa too. The staff was so lovely, we chatted while waiting for our food and they very generously snuck more than we payed for into our bag. Definitely will be coming back again and again.

Patricia H.

Yelp
Too delicious for words and totally addictive. One of my must stops when I am in Parma.

Allison G.

Yelp
All I can say is the food is out of this world! This is a very small family owned little diner. I would say more than 15 people can't eat here at a time, but you should try to get a seat anyhow! Absolutely the best meatloaf I have ever had. The pierogies are out of this world, the stuffed cabbage is awesome and we cannot wait to come back! Get their earlier in the day because once they run out of stuff it's gone. Tip: If you check in on yelp you eat $2 off your order!

Sheena W.

Yelp
Apparently I'm Polish and had no idea. I grew up eating cabbage & noodles, stuffed cabbage, and pierogies! The Little Polish Diner is small and nothing fancy by any means, don't expect a ton of flavors, but to me it is quintessential comfort food. It tastes good and fills you up, perfect to eat before taking naps on Sundays. *Chicken Paprikash $9.99 (on Saturdays only) *Cheese Blintz (optional strawberry topping) $2.75 *Cabbage and Noodles $3-$4? *Cucumber Salad $1.95 *Sweet Cheese, Sauerkraut, Potato-Cheddar Pierogies meal $7.75 *Tour of Poland (Sausage & Kraut, Stuffed Cabbage, 2 Pierogies, Green Beans, Roll) $11.25 *Pyzy (meat stuffed dumplings) meal $9.25 The pierogies are on the smaller side, but they are served with buttery fried onions and a side of sour cream, mmm tasty. The cucumber salad is refreshing and perfectly accompanies the carb loaded meals. Chicken Paprikash is one of my favorite dishes and they do it right here! Everything is simple, but made well, you can definitely imagine your grandma in the kitchen. I will be stopping here again! Just note that the $2 off Yelp check in offer is no longer being recognized. This needs to be removed from Yelp.

Jen F.

Yelp
I LOVED the pierogi sampler to go. Absolutely delicious for this gal who grew up on pierogis.

Julia P.

Yelp
So good! Parma's hidden little gem. The owners and staff are great friendly people. Reminds me of my Nanas amazing cooking.
