Google
Checking out little bakeries with my son as a new side quest together. The gentleman at the counter was very sweet and patient while my son was deciding what he wanted. We'd come at the end of the day and the pastries were still delicious and unique. We tried a little of everything!

Google
A little pricey, but what’s not these days. Fillings on Kolaches and strudel was excellent. Can’t wait to visit the actual shop location and try more things!

Bought in Ballard, near the Sunday market. Very tasty homemade baked pastries! Definitely recommend esp given it's a small family owned business. Bought it straight from lovely grandma :)

Google
Little Prague is the first stall I look for when I'm at the u-district farmer's market, and I get so excited when I see their booth. Their kolach is my favorite, and they have so many fresh fruit flavors to pick from. The staff is always friendly so I don't mind waiting in line to get some pastries. Thanks for always making my Saturday mornings special 💕

Google
DONT BUY !!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! really awful pastry. i bought a mushroom cheese pie when i pass by them in pike market place, god, salties pastry i've ever had, the flower part is not crispy , it is wet, i dont see anything in this pie, i spend $9 (which over priced, i should have checked google review before buy anything from them, use same money buy any lovely pastry in seattle please) on a piece of trash, completely a joke, if you dont like bakery , get out of the market, dont present awful work to people, worst experience in Seattle area . look this place is a scam, such disgenuine owner, next time if i pass buy if i see any people try to buy, i will recommend them not too, i'm serious, DONT BUY !!!

Google
I loved the strudel from the store but in West Seattle, even though they were quite pricey. I don’t believe the store in WS is open any longer; I’ve not seen a lit open sign or any indication of activity in the location in weeks.

Google
I got an excellent cinnamon apple croissant at the Farmer's market booth. Their pastries are very high quality and I want to try all of them

Rin

Google
They were severely overpriced for how low quality they were! I paid $20 for all 3 at the farmer's market. And they tasted like $7 for all 3 at Safeway. First of all, the pastry used were tasteless, dry / crumbly and stale tasting. Zero hint of butter, so probably the margarine stuff. The cannoli filling was pretty passable (if it were $4). Second of all, the fillings were not fresh and homemade! Why are you charging $7?!?! The apple strudel had a strong artificial flavor taste to it. Very underwhelming and tasted like store bought paste. The raspberry jam on the tart tasted like artificially flavored jelly from the store. But it did tasted like it had fresh raspberries in it though, thank goodness for that. I was expecting something entirely different having paid $20. It blows my mind that people are paying for these!

Yelp
Fantastic food and service !! The pastries are so good. They are also at the Ballard farmers market on the corner and wow fresh!

Yelp
Best bakery I've been to outside of Europe, there's a good reason for the lines of ppl you'll see as you drive by!

David W.

Yelp
I went to the Mukilteo location today and ordered a medium drip coffee. The nice older lady says $6.20. When I questioned it, she insisted the amount was correct. Rather than argue, I simply paid. Lukewarm drip coffee from an air pot, not even an Americano level of labor involved. I won't be going back. Ridiculous. If the rest of their prices are similar, this place is doomed to fail.

Yelp
I got to try a pastry from this spot at the Ballard farmers market, and I wasn't that impressed. My friend had recommended it saying that their rolls were especially good, and I was also told that by the girl working at the stand. Since I'm allergic to nuts I wasn't able to try the chocolate nutella one, but she also mentioned the cinnamon roll was really popular so I got that instead. The roll itself was decently sized but was almost $8 which is a bit absurd, and there was a lot of just bread. I warmed it up to hopefully help but it didn't do too much for it. The only really good part was the center which had the soft bread and gooey filling. I probably wouldn't try more items.

Yelp
I've been a fan of this bakery for a few years. I heard about them when they reached out to me to visit and I come back when I am in the area because I love their kolaches! They have a light cream cheese topping with different fruits and they're so tasty. Their savory pastries are pretty good too, especially the ones with mushrooms. We tried the cinnamon rolls recently and they were a bit too try for my taste but they have a chocolate walnut one I would try next time.

Yelp
I am a glutton for pastries and this place does them just right. I caught Little Prague at the Kirkland Waterfront Wednesday Market. I got three pastries which came to be $21.00. I got two cinnamon roll varieties- one traditional and one apple cinnamon. Both were a little dry to my liking. The third pastry was the Nutella turnover, which you cannot go wrong with, that was a delicious showstopper! I would definitely try more pastries from this place especially the kolachs and danishes.

Yelp
First, Emily is awesome. Hands down amazing. Love her. Second, when I tell you that after taking a bite of the poppyseed roll, I was transported back to my grandmother's house like back in my childhood. The taste, the texture, everything was just oh so good. Then there was the kolach. I love cream cheese. Period. Add strawberries and you have yourself a winner. 100000% recommend. The shop is warm and reminds me of the kitchens and cafes of Eastern Europe. I think next time, I'll stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Are you going to pay a premium here? Yes. But you can taste the love and care that is put into everything that comes out of here. It's a treat. And life is too short not to treat yourself.

Yelp
Little Prague Bakery & Deli is a cute little Czech bakery in West Seattle, near Morgan Junction. Because of Covid, they mostly do takeout now, but they have two small sidewalk tables where you can eat your food. We came here for an early dinner because they have both savory and sweet items. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. We ordered two Hot Bites. One had Canadian bacon & cheese and the other was vegetarian (sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and sharp cheddar cheese). They were pretty good, but I wish they had a little bit more filling and I think they would be better heated up. We also ordered a cup of soup (cream of mushroom) and a cinnamon roll with caramelized apples. Both were pretty good! Sometime I want to try their Hungarian goulash with steamed dumplings, which looks great, but it was kinda expensive at $18.75. I would definitely come here again. However, I recommend coming earlier in the day so you get the freshest selection.

Yelp
$35 for 4 pastries and a latte. Kind of steep. Also the storefront looks nothing like the pictures. Place was empty at 10:30 on a Sunday. Kind of a sign that it's not all that great a value. Probably wouldn't return. However pastries were good and latte was ok. One high school age girl working and came out of the back when we walked in. She was nice enough

Yelp
For many years I've seen the Little Prague pastries featured at various Seattle neighborhood farmers markets. Someday I'll visit the main West Seattle site. This post for my purchases made via the University District Farmers Market last Saturday on 2/27/21. Remember your mask and socially distance while wandering. The woman at the Little Prague booth was very welcoming. Despite the both of us being masked, you can sense the smiling eyes as I admired the various pastries. Each were careful wrapped for safe pandemic practices. Top tier and a constant favorite for The Homie was the raspberry strudel. He was especially happy it was not doused in powdered sugar. Next tasty contender was the blueberry fruit bar...nice jammy confection similar to a classic German kuchen. The cream cheese kolache was spot on, but I prefer the thinner version of a danish. The cinnamon roll was a bit large and easily shareable. Classic, old school European baked goods.
google avatar

Vivian H.

Yelp
I ordered kolaches through Coffeeholic House. I think this is a great collaboration and partnership. I tried both the Peach Cream Cheese & Blueberry Cream Cheese kolaches, but I felt like my taste has been tainted by cheese danishes. I was expecting a stronger cheese flavor. This was my first time trying kolaches, so this might be what it should taste like. However, the kolaches were beautifully presented and flaky. I have not stepped foot in the actual bakery and deli, but I look forward to ordering directly from them in the future. I'm interested in trying the other baked goods, such as the strudels, kremrole, savory puffs, and hot bites. I think I will enjoy the savory eats a lot more, so expect an update to this review. Other items on the menu that I'm curious to try are the palačinky (soft crepes) and chlebíčky (open sandwiches), homemade fresh fruit sodas, and specialty cakes too. I'm impressed with the variety of items and look forward to ordering more!

Yelp
I can only review my experience based off of the food since I found this bakery from my recent visit to the Ballard Farmer's Market. There was a wide range of delicious looking baked goods there from Nutella rolls, danish, kolach and many other goods. I picked up a peach kolach and ham & cheese pastry. Both pastries were delicious! I wish I had gotten more, but that's ok, it's a good reason to make my way to the actual bakery some day. From the looks of the website, they have a lot more goods and drinks available, so I'm excited to go and try them out in the near future. I would've taken pictures of what I bought, but they were so good, I ate it before I could snap pictures.
google avatar

Toma C.

Yelp
This place smell as good as the pastries. I didn't like the mushroom pastries I was expecting a different flavor but the pastry was a delight. The mushrooms would have been better with a little cheese. The apple turnover was ok but the Nutella roll is the winner. I see them working on their days off. I couldn't Imagine the time they put into this place. I've had other Pastries here before the cinnamon roll and chocolate croissants were both amazingly yummy.
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
The woman working here was super nice and charming. Unfortunately the pastries we got (kolaches) were not especially good, and the price (north of $17 for two) is just insane. I know inflation and all, but $8+ for a mediocre pastry, are you kidding???

Igor V.

Yelp
Might be closed. We saw them in Kirkland farmers market and were told that they have storefront in west Seattle. Were excited to try it but they were closed on Sunday even though hours on the door indicated that they should be open 8-3
google avatar

Yelp
The Kolach is really the star of the show here. A quaint small pastry shop in West Seattle worth a stop if you're on this side of town. Would recommend getting a Kolach, or a few. I also got the poppyseed roll just because it intrigued me. It was nicely baked but the taste wasn't for me. This is coming from someone who has never had a poppyseed roll, so it's more than likely not a good judgement of that. Nothing too special about the coffee but it's good, came out nice and hot. Excited to try more from this place in the future. Service was good, nothing exceptional but everything I would expect from a small bakery.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh baked little gem! I love baked goods and am so glad I found this Prague bakery, especially since Prague is one of my favorite cities! I stopped by and grabbed a Nutella walnut pastry and a raspberry cream cheese danish. Both were delicious but I'd say the raspberry danish was my favorite! The filling was soo tasty and plenty to coat the entire bread part it sat in. The Nutella walnut pasty wasn't overly chocolately and was big enough to have in two portions! Definitely will be back and hope this bakery gets the attention it deserves!!

Yelp
Didn't get to try it, it was closed way before it's posted hours drove over for nothing.

Yelp
Despite living in the neighborhood for close to 5 years, this is the first time I've visited Little Prague. Personally, I can't eat any of the delicious looking pastries due to food allergies, but it smelled good when I walked by today so I picked up a Nutella filled danish for my daughter as an after school treat. All the pastries looks really tasty. I did notice they had a lunch menu and the woman behind the counter was really nice in answering all my allergen questions and it turned out I could eat the Moravian roast pork and sauerkraut with dumplings- minus the dumplings- and it was gluten, dairy and egg free. It was pretty tasty albeit a bit pricey at $18.50, especially without the dumplings. She did give me more kraut, but I was definitely hoping the dish would have more pork. I see them weekly at the farmers market here in west Seattle, and I think they do a lot of the markets around the city, which is nice.

Yelp
This is going to be an unpopular but honest opinion. I went on a walk yesterday and stopped by yesterday with a sweet craving. I've seen this place several times at the Farmer's Market but decided to finally give them a try today. I asked the woman what the most popular pastries were and she said the cinnamon roll, strudel, and kolaches. Seeing as a cinnamon roll didn't seem very unique, I went with the Apple streudel. Unfortunately I took one bite and immediately regretted spending $8!!! on a cold, meh, small, mushy pastry. Honestly, I could have kept walking to Thriftway and gotten a whole box of something similar for half the price. It's a cute, simple mom and pop shop but a little dark and dreary at the same time. I'm quite bummed about this whole experience since their market pastries look so inviting every time I pass by. Oh well! Lesson learned.

Yelp
The day after I got home from Hawaii, I went to Little Prague Bakery. There were a ton of choices, all very tempting and delicious looking. I ended up choosing a Raspberry Strudel. Raspberries are my absolute favorite and this raspberry strudel did not disappoint! It was delicious. The crust was flaky, the inside berry and sweet. Perfect! I also took home two Apple Kolaches. They were soooo good! They had little apple pieces inside and a delicious sweet flavor. Not too sweet, just sweet enough. I had never been here before despite it being so close to me. I will definitely be back! Accessibility: This bakery is accessible. However, there is no accessible washroom (as far as I know of). There is limited seating, but all of it is tables and chairs without arms. Noise is not an issue nor is lighting.
google avatar

Miranda W.

Yelp
Always stop when I see them at a farmers market but I have also stopped in at their brick & mortar. Not super sweet stuff like American bakeries (which I enjoy) like cupcakes/cakes. My favorite is their walnut strudel while the apricot danish is my husband's preferred. Always nice service and nice portion size for the price!
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Lord please forgive my wife for the inferior pastries that she feeds me she does not know what she bakes. I have never in my life had a pastry like the one I just had it with some hot bite with Canadian bacon and caramelized onions my helper does not like onions in fact despises onions but eat this masterpiece. It just made me want to weep it was so good!!!I'm just sitting outside the shop and I'm contemplating on whether or not I should go in and get another
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
Such a delicious spot. Whether it is pastries or a meal, it is yummy. They also have coffee so you can't lose.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a beaut of a hidden gem! If you're looking for traditional European pastries...this is the place! Struessel, danish and fruit pastries, oh my! Purchased a whole plethora of goodies to share...and let's just say there were no leftovers.
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
I tried a slice of the poppyseed strudel ($4) and it was light, fluffy, and not too sweet - perfect for breakfast with a cup of coffee. Can't wait to try more of their home made pastries and food!
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
I've been walking past Little Prague's storefront for seemingly years, and never stopped in - I broke that streak this morning and I'm glad I did! Had a delicious, moist, fluffy cinnamon bun, seemingly fresh out of the oven. My wife was bummed it didn't have a glob of icing on the top, until we started eating it and realized how delicious it was. The (owner?) person working was incredibly pleasant and we had a nice, albeit masked, conversation. I'll be going back.
google avatar

Audra B.

Yelp
I was SO excited to see apple strudel at the Ballard Farmer's Market that I bought two pieces, one for myself and one for my wife. I was NOT so excited when I pulled it away from my mouth after taking a couple of bites and there was a long BLACK hair in it! It was clearly INSIDE the pastry. Both myself and my wife have blonde and red hair. ICK. Photo provided.

Madison L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this bakery for a long time! They are always at the markets but today I passed the bakery and had to stop by! It only has 2 small tables so it's more of a to go place. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I ended up with the strawberry cream cheese danish thing and it's probably the best I have ever had! The pastry was light and fluffy and the cream cheese was the perfect amount of sweet. It melts in your mouth. I definitely see more in my future. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Wolfe Y.

Yelp
Delicious pastry, honestly one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a long time and very friendly service. We look forward to our next visit.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
A coffee and a pasty in this very European shop was the delight of my weekend! I sat outside at a table with a tablecloth and my amazing coffee, in a beautiful blue & white cup, was $2.50. I feel like I've just been to Europe. Support this lovely neighborhood business at the Morgan Street Junction in West Seattle!
google avatar

Cat H.

Yelp
We have tried several of their baked goods and they have all been awesome. This is a great little spot. It's a little ways south of the junction, so you get nice tree coverage as you walk around and eat your danishes. The people who run it are very gracious and friendly. It's a repeat for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
I've passed Little Prague by for months - and suffered through many Closed signs, until TODAY! I was walking on the other side of the street and noticed it was open, so I excitedly crossed over and found: 1. Their hours are wrong on Yelp (trying to get that fixed). They're open Wednesday through Saturday. Wed and Thurs till 2 (they open at 8) and Friday and Saturday 8-6. 2. They have some downright delicious pastries. 3. The people who own it and/or work there are SUPER NICE. 4. Their food is delicious. (Limited menu.) I'll be back so I can try their homemade kielbasa and goulash. I really appreciated how accommodating they were, even though lunch was not ready yet. Inside you'll find just three tables and outside there are two tables. It's the kind of place you'd go for a solo lunch or a quaint date. One person came in while I was there and found out it would take another 15 minutes for the goulash, so he said he'd come back - it's apparently *that* good! Definitely coming back for coffee (which I didn't have), pastries, and entrees!

Karl M.

Yelp
For my mother's 90th birthday, this past January I ordered a custom baked cake, a Black Forest Cherry Cake. Most American bakeries do not know how to bake an authentic Black Forest Cherry Cake, I know this from experience with other bakeries, from travels in Germany, from baking this style of cake myself. It takes knowledge, the proper ingredients, talent, and care. The Black Forest Cherry Cake baked by Little Prague European Bakery & Deli was authentic, and excellent. Exceeded all expectations, including those of my Mother. Thank you!!
google avatar

Lucie K.

Yelp
I visited Little Prague Bakery & Deli in their location in West Seattle. They had the most authentic Czech meal and desserts outside of the Czech republic I have found my 2 years in the US. I had pork with sauerkraut and dumplings (moravský vrabec) for lunch with raspberry strudel and strawberry turnover as desserts. Their pastries can also be purchased in most Seattle Farmers Markets (http://www.sfmamarkets.com/) - their stall is going to be my mandatory stop next time I go.
google avatar

Basil M.

Yelp
I've walked passed this place dozens of times and never paid much attention to it. I decided to stop In the other day and found out what I've been missing. Cinnamon Roll, Kolash and streusel were all excellent and the goulash here was authentic with super tender beef and tasty broth and a delicious home made bread served with it. Check it out, shame on my for walking by it so many times without a second look, I'll return soon for sure.

Doug P.

Yelp
If your looking for Texas kolaches this is not the place. You will be very disappointed. There are no sausage kolaches and the fruit ones the dough is not sweet at all. Still trying to find a good kolache in Seattle.

Momma N.

Yelp
Went to Prague this past winter and having pastries here was absolutely reminiscent. People really need to stop making poor reviews because it wasn't open when you thought it might be. Being closed several days a week is not an issue for me because if the food is good, it's worth the wait and it is here. Plus we could learn a thing or two from others because we Americans work way too much. ...Back to the food... Met the owner I believe at the U. Village farmers market a couple weeks ago and it was honestly the BEST cinnamon roll I've ever had and it didn't even have icing on top. That's how good it was. Didn't even need it. Just ugh....can't wait for another one. Try it yourself when you're able to, don't worry about the bad reviews. FYI: I only do a handful of reviews because I'm the pickiest eater.
google avatar

Mel S.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem at the Ballard Sunday Market and I am so glad I circled back to get some pastries. The raspberry filled strudel and the authentic Czech kolaches were so delicious. I got the apricot/cream cheese kolache. Sooooo yummy. Reminds me of when my Czech grandpa used to make baked goods.
google avatar

Silvia A.

Yelp
We are visiting from L.A and saw the great yelp reviews to this unnoticeable bakery. It was exceptional! We had a chocolate and apple turnover straight out of the oven a few minutes after they opened. The coffee was also yummy and the host was extremely nice and attentive. Make a stop here for some delicious pastries!
google avatar

Leanna H.

Yelp
I'd love to have reviewed this place today! I had some business in the area so I thought I'd try out the bakery after seeing such great Yelp reviews. I'm a sucker for European pastries! I got there at around 9:30 ish today and I walk up to the photo you see included. No signs posted stating a different opening hour or any indication as to when they'd be open! I even checked back on Yelp and they are closed all day- on Monday. It's Tuesday. The hours stated it would be open at 9am. But there is literally no hours posted on the door so nobody would know walking by! No lights or any sign that maybe someone was even running late! I did check back about 45 minutes later to find they still weren't open! If you're going to be closed or changing the general hours have some kind of note or sign! I ended up having to go to another cafe about 2 blocks away and honestly I'm not too keen on giving this place a chance again.

Yelp
Caught Little Prague at the Bellevue Farmers Market. Not sure if the storefront is open or not, but they have a space at numerous farmer markets throughout the week. Selection at the stand consisted of almond croissants, several varieties of strudel and danishes, fruit bars and kolaches. All of their pastries were $3 each, which is a bit pricey. Still, I wanted to try what a Czech pastry tasted like. I got a poppy seed kolach and was thinking of getting a couple of other items. That was until I was served my pastry on a single napkin which is not good for traveling. So I just took my kolach to go. If the kolach was any indication, I did not miss much. The filling was okay, but the bread part was stale. Not good. Oh well. Not every bakery I try is going to be amazing. On to the next one!

Yelp
We dined like royalty! Unfortunately when we came on a Sunday, a church group had just been in and cleaned out most of the food... but we still snagged Kolache, strudel, coffee and samples of goulash and dumplings.. this amazing sausage sandwich and another person had, I think it was pork and sauerkraut. Everything was 'oh-my-god-amazing' and I'm not exaggerating. I was raised eating czech food and kolache's and strudel were the most amazing treats ever.. my grandma's dough tasted a little more dense than those here, but the flavor was spot on for the kolache's. They also had like a cream cheese in with the strawberry one which was new to me, but amazing! I asked Milan if they regularly make poppy seed kolache's (my favorite) and I was given his personal number to call ahead when I'm ready to come back for them. I can't wait! The sauerkraut is home made and not bitter like most others, I actually don't like sauerkraut, but theirs at Little Prague was great! I honestly can't wait to go back and try more! I'm thinking I'll take a book and dine outside, sounds like heaven! :-)
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
I've been by here a million times and decided to stop in today for lunch. They mainly do catering and just recently added a dining space. They only had Goulash ready, but it was very tasty. They plan to have more of their menu available for walk ins later in the spring. It's worth the visit. FYI - this place is no longer in business.
google avatar

Peter T.

Yelp
Delicious legitimately wonderful pastries in a more traditional European style (lighter on the sweetness, with broader, more developed and savory tastes), at a VERY reasonable cost. The service was very friendly and were given an additional pastry to try to go with our order which the cook was experimenting with, which had an unusual and really pleasing savory walnut taste. Thank you! If you walk past this shop without picking something up, you're doing yourself a disservice.
google avatar

Linds M.

Yelp
Stopped in for an espresso and pastry. I had a Nutella pastry that was perfectly flaky and with just the right amount of the Nutella. Delicious and not overly sweet. They had very welcoming service and ample seating for its small size. I look forward to trying more of their food items. I noticed they were also at the WS Farmer's Market for those who would like to try.
google avatar

STEVE L.

Yelp
I have traveled throughout Europe for over 30 years and the pastries and breads are what I miss most once I get back to the states. Little Prague makes some amazing pastries and their Apricot and Apple fillings are fantastic. In addition, the strudel is light and flaky and the other pastries have that wonderful bread like consistency that makes European pastries so good. At $3.00 each, these are a bargain, unless you are use to paying a $1.00 for lousy donut at the grocery store. Check them out in West Seattle or at a number of Farmer's Markets during the summer months.
google avatar

Valerie B.

Yelp
I picked up a walnut pastry at their booth at the farmers market and all I can say is WOW! True puff pastry is perfect with just the right amount of sweetness and the crunch of the walnuts make it all divine! Don't pass this place up- I can't wait to stop by their actual shop!
google avatar

Yelp
These guys are at the Broadway Sunday Farmers Market !!! soft, chewy, flaky and Delicious is all I can say oh hell I can say more !! these are wonderful treats I am gonna have to go to West Seattle and check out there full operation the BF got the Fruit Bar its like Coffee cake but instead of a strudel topping it had a Berry topping oh yeah :) I got the Raspberry Strudel it was just right and what I was hoping it would taste like, soft, chewy, and moist, with growing up around good treats it is always great to find quality pastries I Will be back for sure
