Little Rad Market is a neighborhood market carefully curated by Radish Kitchen's founder, Amanda Frederickson. The market features clean, high-quality take-home or take-out food and beverage items and home goods with enough variety to delight the kids, the picky husband, the parents in town and folks with dietary restrictions. It's located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking available.
The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about the products and ingredients. It's a beautiful, airy space with comfortable seating and unique, high-end home goods that make me want to stop and linger. I live in East Nashville, and I consistently make the trek to Bellemeade for either the matcha or the frozen yogurt.
For breakfast, the matcha latte is the best in town. The bakery items (e.g., zucchini bread, blueberry muffin) are fresh and not too sugary. For lunch, there is something for everyone. The pictured refrigerated shelves have pre-packaged salads from Radish Kitchen, and the deli counter (not pictured) has lean protein options like baked pesto salmon. For dinner, in the freezer (pictured to right of refrigerated shelves), there are pre-cooked family-size meals like enchiladas, lasagna and lentil soup with clean ingredients. We tried the lasagna and it was delicious and satisfying, but it didn't sit heavy like lasagna from the freezer aisle of the grocery store typically would. I have a hard time leaving without getting the frozen yogurt with magic shell. It's one of the cleanest frozen dessert options in Nashville, and in my opinion, it's the best.
This market is a no-brainer for a quick lunch in the middle of the work day, a pit stop while running errands, after school or when you're in a pinch for dinner. The frozen yogurt alone is worth giving this new spot a try!
