The Best Coffee Shops in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"West Nashville was overjoyed to receive the gift of Little Rad in 2024, a coffee shop and market serving grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and prepared items. La Colombe provides the beans for drip coffee, cold brew, and a selection of changing specialty lattes, like the Honey Badger (which gets its name from sweet honey and spicy Cayenne). The exceptional cookies, muffins, and quick breads change seasonally, but the frozen Greek yogurt is a constant treat (particularly when topped with honey and sea salt). Grab a seat at one of its precious few tables, or pair a coffee to go with one of Little Rad’s signature chocolate chip cookies (which you may recognize from sister restaurant Radish Kitchen)." - Ellen Fort

Radish’s Amanda Frederickson Announces Launch of Little Rad Market | Eater Nashville

"Taking over the former Hey Sugar spot in Belle Meade, Little Rad is being positioned as a quick-service neighborhood market serving coffee, pastries, breakfast, lunch, and both fresh and frozen takeaway dinner options drawn from the Radish catalog; it will also carry local produce and food items from Frederickson-approved brands, a concept Amanda Frederickson says she’d dreamed about long before arriving in Nashville, and it’s slated to open in early 2024 at 6045 TN-100." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

I only share this because I really do want the best for you guys…! the hot drink game is just not the best. I’ve gotten a hot (whole milk if it matters) latte on 3 different occasions and each time they’re over steamed and way too hot for a latte, it changes the flavor. My years as a barista back in the day, a beverage thermometer was always a helpful tool. The pour method could use work too, the espresso crema and milk are never coming together as one at the top. I’m not saying latte art is needed but a simple tilt of the cup with pouring the milk in. I only want your espresso drink game to be as exceptional as the rest! Love you guys!

I think it's really unfortunate that someone with a service dog complained about their experience at Little Rad. I can totally understand why the staff wasn't a fan/was frazzled. Just because you have a service dog doesn't mean you get to rag on a place where they don't allow pets, period. It's the equivalent of a vegan showing up to a BBQ spot and complaining that they didn't accommodate you. Anyway, back to Little Rad. This place has been a saving grace in what is a very desolate and old-school part of Nashville. Lots of outdated and oddball shops that wouldn't survive anywhere else and then there's the beacon of hope that is Little Rad. Incredibly friendly and capable staff (feel like they're always having to adapt to something unforseen). A good selection of drinks and food. I'm here 4-5 times a week honestly and it's fantastic every time. Keep up the great work!

Google
Customer service is incredibly rude. The food is great but will not be back because of the rude way customers are treated. The service dog had been accompanying us for many weeks for take-out food and a familiar staff member was very dramatic and unprofessional when we entered to take out food as we had done every week. Her handling of the situation was very unprofessional and nasty. It was very random and abrupt and when I agreed to leave and just pass on my order to my guest, she became hostile and nasty.

Mia was super sweet recommending different matcha flavors since I’m new to drinking them! First time here and great service!!

Google
The service here has become glacial. Waiting 20 minutes for high priced coffee is not acceptable. The food is consistently good, though.

This place has the best butternut squash salad and a new banana Chai! It's a must go to stop.

This place is so RAD!!! The kids love it, I love it. The location is beyond convenient. I go more times a week than I’d like to admit from their delicious muffins to their guilt free frozen yogurt. Katie is always so vibrant and sweet when waiting on us. I always look forward to seeing her and all the other amazing people that work there! 5 ⭐️ and 10/10 experience every time!

Yelp
Got a hot maple latte to-go and it was delicious! Also tried a slice of zucchini bread as recommended by others and it was fresh and amazing. I was greeted right away when I came in; the staff were very friendly. I love that they have premade meals and cookie dough balls in the refrigerator that you just have to stick in the oven at home. It's a beautiful market with lots of healthy snack and to-go options. I love that there is finally a good coffee spot close to Cheekwood and Percy Warner. Shared free parking lot with other businesses.

Yelp
Radish is one of my favorite places to grab lunch, when they opened Little Rad Market I was waiting for the day I had free time to drive to west Nashville. I had some extra time between shifts and was able to stop by. This is tucked away in the shopping center off of 100 near Sam's Place in Belle Meade. Great location, good amount of parking and the service was great. I had a matcha latte and a blueberry muffin and they both were delicious. They also have grab-and-go lunches and food that you could take for dinner. Such an amazing concept for this area you are located.

Yelp
Adorable coffee shop! There are just a few two-person tables available, but met some friends around 3pm on a Monday without a problem. And staff were super friendly and welcoming. Will be back to try their soft serve and more!

Yelp
Little Rad Market is a neighborhood market carefully curated by Radish Kitchen's founder, Amanda Frederickson. The market features clean, high-quality take-home or take-out food and beverage items and home goods with enough variety to delight the kids, the picky husband, the parents in town and folks with dietary restrictions. It's located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking available. The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about the products and ingredients. It's a beautiful, airy space with comfortable seating and unique, high-end home goods that make me want to stop and linger. I live in East Nashville, and I consistently make the trek to Bellemeade for either the matcha or the frozen yogurt. For breakfast, the matcha latte is the best in town. The bakery items (e.g., zucchini bread, blueberry muffin) are fresh and not too sugary. For lunch, there is something for everyone. The pictured refrigerated shelves have pre-packaged salads from Radish Kitchen, and the deli counter (not pictured) has lean protein options like baked pesto salmon. For dinner, in the freezer (pictured to right of refrigerated shelves), there are pre-cooked family-size meals like enchiladas, lasagna and lentil soup with clean ingredients. We tried the lasagna and it was delicious and satisfying, but it didn't sit heavy like lasagna from the freezer aisle of the grocery store typically would. I have a hard time leaving without getting the frozen yogurt with magic shell. It's one of the cleanest frozen dessert options in Nashville, and in my opinion, it's the best. This market is a no-brainer for a quick lunch in the middle of the work day, a pit stop while running errands, after school or when you're in a pinch for dinner. The frozen yogurt alone is worth giving this new spot a try!

Yelp
Friendly service and easy parking always a plus for me. Enjoyed the Belle Meade Cobb salad and brought home a qt of vegetarian lentil soup, yet to be eaten. Nice spot for a quick dinner pickup if you live locally!

Yelp
Such a good spot! They have staple coffee flavors as well as exciting/different options and milk alternatives are not an extra charge! Pastries are so good; the coffee cake is amazing and almost reminds me of my grandmother's recipe! They even have to-go snacks, lunch options, and dinners (like pans of lasagne and pastas! this place truly amazed me).

Yelp
According to my son..... "Best banana bread and I know my banana bread" The coffee is fantastic as well.

Yelp
My favorite neighborhood spot. The salmon and lemony kale salad is my go-to grab and go lunch! Everyone who works there is super nice. Cute little seating area and a small selection of grocery/home items.

Yelp
I had the iced latte with oat milk and it was AMAZING! Give Starbucks a break and try their coffee. You'll be doing yourself a favor! Great service and delicious!

Yelp
Enjoyed the most delicious honey latte at this sweet local coffee shop. Took some pumpkin bread, chicken tenders and kale salad to go which makes dinner plans so much easier. Definitely will be my go to from not on!

Yelp
I wish I had photos to attach - such a great experience, the manager Ali was so sweet and recommended multiple pastries and coffee beverages. I landed on the dirty chai, would recommend.. 5 stars. will return!!!

Yelp
Loving this new spot! I've been a fan of Radish and was excited when Little Rad finally opened. The food is great, the coffee tastes amazing and the staff is always super friendly! They also have some take home meals which have been a lifesaver during a busy week. It's quickly become a weekly stop for me!
