I had the lentil soup, Turkish meatballs, mom’s okra, and Sultan’s Delight — everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The menu blends traditional Turkish flavors with a modern twist, and they’ve done it so well. The atmosphere is cozy and chic, with an aesthetic that made me feel right at home. Loved everything about it! A side note: if you’re paying with Blackbird, they automatically add a 20% tip which is not a problem for me

Delicious Turkish inspired Mediterranean cuisine. The host/owner was super friendly and came to chat with us. The dishes were plentiful in size. Def recommend for a large group dinner!

We came here visiting from Toronto, for our son’s first birthday. We sat outside and they were extremely accommodating. We came three nights in a row for happy hour cocktails, and appetizers. Both the blonde female server and dark hair male server were extremely accommodating. Awesome cocktails and dips. Thanks for being so welcoming, as we recognize it’s not necessarily a baby restaurant. We had a great time

Dark, moody and delicious Low light sets an intimate tone for dinner. Lamb chops and lamb kebabs are flavorful and very delicious but lamb chops take the crown. Spinach salad and feta rolls are fresh for great starters. Extensive wine offerings and craft cocktails. DJ station and a piano in the dinning room give away hint for festive mood on weekends.

This place has been my favorite for long time! They rennovated inside and now it is giving a more modern vibe 💗 Dolma, turkish meatballs and feta rolls are great!

Came here on a Saturday night around 8:30pm without a reservation and was able to get a table right away. The spot was at about 80% capacity and had a live DJ. The noise level was still okay for talking and the food was delicious!

This cozy restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere for a relaxing meal. I enjoyed sitting next to the beautiful stained-glass windows, which added to the restaurant's charm. We ordered the Grilled Wild Salmon with rice pilaf, the flavorful Lamb Kebab, and a comforting bowl of Lentil Soup. The food was delicious! This is definitely a place we will be returning to!

The flavors were unique and complementary to each other. The price is about right. My only deduction is for the lamb that was somewhat overcooked such that it was hard to cut and chew through.

Wonderful neighborhood meal The cocktails are creative and tasty. The plates are well seasoned and nicely presented. The service is helpful and works with you to ensure that you enjoy your meal. The restaurant is larger than you might expect from seeing the exterior. The seating is comfortable.

Another wonderful neighborhood place with a small menu and exceptional, personable service. Very intimate. And as someone with short legs and a big ass, I have to say, they have the most realistic and comfortable bar seats I've ever experienced. My feet actually touched the bar across the bottom of the seat. My ass actually fit completely into the seat. BRAVO! I am often a solo diner, but they don't accept reservations for one. It's probably not unreasonable to walk into this place early in the evening, even on a Friday night like me, and expect to snag a seat without too much trouble, but if you can, reservations would help. Spot only has about five or six tables that seat anywhere from two or three to maybe five or six depending on the configuration. This is more of a mediterranean-ish place. You can start with hummus, caviar, mixed olives, lentil soup. Plates include grilled artichokes, roasted cauliflower. They have a couple different salads--green, shepherds, and spinach and pear. You can order prawns, octopus, eggplant, Turkish meatballs, lamb chops. Grilled salmon, branzino, kebabs. I chose to go with girl dinner. I had a cheeseboard for 22 bucks. And it was a pretty big, impressive cheeseboard with at least six different types of cheese, some dried fruit, grapes. And I went with their seasoned fries with truffle salt. The fries were fantastic. Light, yet crisp, thick, with a great sauce. Would go back there again just for these! A large cocktail and wine menu. Various spirits, from mezcal to whiskey, gin, rye, rum, vodka. Each drink I had was good, with complex flavors. Toward the end I started having the bartender make me drinks he was working on that weren't on the menu. I love doing that in places when it's laid back and not busy. They have some great ideas cooking here! They are a little more expensive--18 to 23 or 24 dollars depending on the drink or the spirit. But you also get what you pay for with this place. The bartender was awesome. Cool guy who made sure I was taken care of, but also gave me space to chill.

We got halloumi and hummus to share, both were good! The hummus has a strong bell pepper flavor, which I'm not familiar with but I enjoyed it! The pita was okay, played as a supporting character than main meal. I got the Wagyu burger, which was pretty good. It's not as fatty as I thought it would've been, a good thing so I don't get palette fatigue. We came as a group of 6 catching up and they let us stay for a really long time, which was must appreciated!

Nice little spot with great drinks. We had a small department event here (venue buyout), which was nice and intimate, great for mingling and conversation. Not much decor though and pretty simple, but food was good especially the baba ganoush and shrimp. Overall decent option for a team gathering!

The bar's interior looks very nice, the cocktails are tasty, and the outdoor space in the back gives you a quiet place to spend time in. The owner of the establishment is always very friendly and happy to help - even when you want to order positions off menu, he will be happy to craft you a personalized cocktail!

Came here to try the food. The appetizers weren't that good. Lamb chops and lamb entree were okay. The best thing they had was the chicken brochette was the best thing on their menu. I would only come back for the chicken brochette. The other things on menu were okay. I would recommend here to try. Their baklava is not bad. The pomegranate helps balance the sweetness level.

Amazing drinks, homemade hummus, and lamb cooked to perfection- some of my favorite reasons to visit Little Rascal. I have visited with family, coworkers, and friends and it passes the test across the board- there's something for everyone on their menu and the ambiance is so warm and inviting, we're always impressed. From the octopus to the branzino to the lamb to the meatballs, the meal is delicious. My recco: take a few people and order as much as possible so you can taste everything! Oh- and (as long as there's no nut allergy) don't skimp on the baklava.

I never worry about bringing friends here. We split one meal and neither of us left hungry. Staff members display good respect and warmth also. They serve good meals using fresh ingredients without overcharging. This restaurant delivers perfect quality.

This place had been on my list for a while. I was in the area after a work event and decided to go. I sat at the bar at the staff was amazing they took care of me really well. The portions here are pretty big so I do recommend sharing. I ordered the cauliflower and the chicken dish. I also had an amazing Martini. The vibes are dope for a date night, friends dinner or even for clients.

Um. Wow. This was delightful. I ordered the "grilled artichoke". It was grilled hearts, "sautéed" Fava beans, preserved lemon, blood orange, flat leaf parsley, mint, arugula. DE-lightful. Light yet filling. So good. The owners are charming the bartenders are fantastic. Will be back. Prolly tomorrow.

Lovely, cozy, and intimate atmosphere with quality food and cocktails. We ordered the Turkish coffee martini and cool as a cucumber which were both delcious. For food we had the halloumi croquettes, octopus and lamb kabob which were all seasoned and cooked so well! The staff is friendly and attentive, they even gave us free baklava. Highly recommend!

Service was really good. The food was also really good but a different pallet of taste and then I'm used to. I got the lamb kebabs, the flavor of the meat was very good and the temperature was perfect. This would be a good spot for a date. Cute vibes

This place is the BEST!! We came to celebrate my birthday dinner with 12 girls and everything was incredible - food, drinks, ambiance, and especially the service!! Claire took amazing care of us - seriously some of the best service in NYC. So helpful and patient with our loud crew. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be having more group dinners here in the future!! Thank you to the whole team you guys are awesome:)

Came here for a birthday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. We were outdoors in the covered seating area with heaters but they weren't too warm. The service was quick and efficient and the food was tasty. We got the trio dip appetizer for the table and I got the lamb brochette while my boyfriend got the mom's recipe okra with lamb. The dishes were beautifully plated, flavorful, and the lamb was tender and juicy. I definitely recommend this place to satisfy your middle eastern cuisine cravings.

Ended up at Little Rascal after The Egg Shop was packed on a Saturday morning. Happy we did! The place was completely empty, we were the only ones inside. I ordered the vegan bowl which was great and super flavorful but way too oily for my taste. My boyfriend got the Turkish quesadilla and liked it a lot. The portion sizes are HUGE too. We shared the breakfast potatoes and I wish they were crispier but still enjoyed. A decent spot to stop in if you're in the area!

Little Rascal had us cocktail/appetizers for my sister's birthday. The atmosphere was the perfect combination of sophisticated and cozy. The cocktails were delicious, alongside the trio plates. Overall, the service was superb, making a personal experience for everyone, especially the birthday girl! The gentleman greeted us, taking our coats and showing the table. The server did an amazing job checking in our party of 8, making sure everyone had drinks and enjoying our time. And lastly, they helped cut our cake and celebrate with candles at the end of the night. Not many places like this in NYC with so much care and intention into their service. I highly recommend whether you are looking for an intimate date spot or event to celebrate!

Best Turkish meal I've had after coming back from Istanbul (and you should know I've sought out some of my favorite dishes at the most famous Turkish restaurants in Cliffside Park and Brooklyn). We did a brunch feast - we would have started with a traditional Turkish breakfast, but unfortunately due to COVID, they were out of our favorite item, honey and crema. However, we loved everything we ordered, starting with the cacik (pronounced ja-jik), served with a fluffy, focaccia-like bread. This was followed with a delicious simit sandwich covered with olive tapenade, a spinach gözleme (labeled as a "Turkish quesadilla"), and an off-menu order of peppery and tomato-laden menemen. The gözleme was the favorite, if we had to pick one, with a velvety soft dough and just the right amount of saltiness from feta. Service was very friendly and helpful. If I had to offer one piece of feedback it would be on dessert - the baklava was quite mediocre, especially at $10 for 3 pieces.

I wanted to like this much more than I did...walked by yesterday and it looked like a cozy, bumpin place, came in today, very quiet but still cozy. Server was very sweet, but the vibe was a bit off...no one asked how my food was (I sat at the bar), and there was no conversation other than me trying to make conversation (very few people here), so it felt...very awkward. Babaganoush was delish, very smoky, and the presentation was beautiful, but the zucchini pancakes (a recommendation) were burnt (I was only able to eat the inside, not the crust). A shame given the almost $20 price for 3 small pieces (of burnt pancake). Surprisingly the spreads are served with fresh bread (delicious) not pita, but it was a good accompaniment to the eggplant. As a vegetarian, I don't think I'll be back for the food but maybe a drink with a friend sometime.

Little Rascal is a cool, cozy spot in SOHO with eclectic chachkis on the walls. Good food and cocktails with a friendly staff. @littlerascalnolita They serve Turkish dishes. Prawns on muhammara spread. This was really good especially the spread which had little pieces of olives. Grilled lamb Brochettes . A really tasty dish. A friend ordered this one and tasted a couple of pieces. The dips were on point Cacik Hummus Babaghanouje Sultan's delight Lamb on smoked eggplant Turkish sesame bagels. Crisp and soft. Good to pick up the sauce. Caroline garden rye whiskey, house made ginger syrup, fresh lemon juice, honey, charred rosemary

Came here with two friends last week, one of whom has always lOVED little rascal. She's right to love it -- attentive but not overbearing staff (let us sit outside for a longggggg time), food wonderful -- we had the halloumi appetizer, cauliflower, meatballs, and eggplant. Lovely restaurant, lovely environment.

An impromptu dinner date with the Man. You will find the restaurant's ambience to be cozy and romantic - if you can make it though the door. I say this because the door wouldn't budge for the life of me!!! Be sure to take a moment to admire the bar, it is wondrously set up like a library except with liquor bottles! We ordered the Shepard Salad, Turkish Meat balls and the Lamb chops. Unlike the other traditional Shepard Salad which are cubed cucumber and tomatoes, these were thickly shredded peppers, onions, cucumber and tomato. I really appreciated how it's prepared as it was a lot easier to chew without looking like a chipmunk!

Dined here for brunch with a few friends. This spot is more intimate and has a smaller menu. All of the food we got was tasty, but nothing really blew us out of the water. We did happen to be the only table eating there at the time, so the service was really attentive. I would be interested in coming back to try their dinner menu. 4/5

Seems like a really underrated place for the area. I've been here several times during COVID because the food and cocktails are delicious!! Their dips are honestly some of the best and have me wondering how can they actually make hummus so much better. Their lamb chops and shrimp are definitely must gets. For cocktails, you will have a difficult time finding a better drink than their watermelon martini. Service here is fast and friendly! COVID sidewalk seating is outdoors and tables are spaced out...ish. Their inside is pretty airy and they seem to always keep the door and big front window open

Made a reservation for two on a weekday evening, sat outdoors. Ordered the zucchini pancakes, prawn muhammara, and grilled chicken. Flavors of everything was delicious, light, not too oily. Really enjoyed all of it. Zucchini pancakes were crispy outside and gooey inside with cheese. Prawn was fresh, the muhammara wasn't very flavorful though. Chicken was moist and flavorful, enjoyed the pepper that came with it (was warned that it's spicy), and the red pepper sauce and yogurt sauce were both tasty. Enjoyed the meal, service was good. Pricey though at around $38 post-tax.

This is my favorite Turkish restaurant in the city! The food never ceases to impress me. The phyllo rolls and the prawn were delicious, and the lamb brochettes were super tender. The indoor/outdoor dining situation is very cute. It's all heated outdoors. Definitely coming back again soon!

Cool ambiance, but when we arrived there was only one other table with patrons and it and very hard to get server's after they delivered the food and drinks. The kebab was tough, portions are small and they were not very attentive. Never came back to check on the meal, offer us more drinks or even dessert!

Really loved the food and wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The dim-lit bar ambiance was relaxed and really enjoyable especially since it was cold outside, it felt particularly cozy. The bottle of red paired perfectly with the vibe.

I was looking for Mediterranean food in the area and came upon Little Rascal. I was meeting a friend for dinner and we also do a Mediterranean theme, so it fit the bill. I made reservations via OpenTable about two weeks prior and didn't have any trouble changing my reservation a few days before either. Our waitress kept checking up on us and really didn't give us any attitude at all when by the 4th check up, we still weren't ready to order. We opted to split a hummus and each got our own dishes. I love the warm bread that's served with the hummus. I could honestly come back and just order the hummus and be perfectly happy. I had the lamb kabab and it was amazing. The dips that came with it really made the dish. I love how the lamb was cooked perfectly - a bit pink on the inside. Service was attentive and I really loved everything that we ate.

Went for brunch, everything we ordered tasted like the chef forgot to add any salt. Would not come back

In short, it was a decent place but nothing special. With a few more details, The food was a modern mediterranean fusion. Lots of bread filler in my avocado fattoush salad. Eggplant dip was great. Flavors are great but I just couldn't get on board with the fusion. Drinks were good. Staff were a bit stiff and price didn't seem to be worth it. We sat outside which was nice. I'd eat there is my friends want to go but I wouldn't choose it on my own.

Walked by and was able to get a seat right away even though they were busy. The service was great and our waitress Rachel was very friendly and attentive with us and other tables. The chicken dish was full of flavor we had to order another plate of it. Drinks were on point overall 10/10

The best Turkish food in NYC. Also, the best food I've ever had in NY ever. The finest octopus in NYC for sure. The house-made hummus is incredible, the Turkish meatballs are fabulous. Excellent house-made cocktails and wine. If you can only have dinner at one restaurant in NYC, Little Rascal is where you want to go. Do not miss it.

Amazing food! Great spot to go to when you're looking for more unique Mediterranean menu items. Since it's heavily Turkish, it has a lot of great foods you don't see at your everyday Mediterranean restaurant. Between 4 people we got the octopus, lamb, meat platter, zucchini patties, phyllo rolls, dumplings, basically a little bit of everything. It was all really delicious and had great flavors. The meats were all cooked to perfection and the veggies were prepared in unique ways.

Had delivery to my job yesterday and might I say WOW. we ordered the chicken, kale (?) salad, yellow peppers, and baba ganoush. Came with an entire tray of bread that was to die for. The delivery was on time and we ordered for 12-14 people and it was more than enough. The tzatziki sauce was so good I ate like 3 plates of this ! Will certainly be going again - I am so impressed !

I can't say enough good things about Little Rascal! It's definitely been one of my go-to spots in SoHo over the last 2-3 years. I'm so glad that they've made it through the pandemic! The cacik is so so so good. Please get this and thank me later. Almost every time we go, we split the trio of dips (hummus, Babaghanouge & cacik) and always end up getting an extra side of cacik. The wine is a decent price for the area, and the vibe is great! Pre-covid it was a dimly lit cozy environment, and now- mid-covid, they have a nice outdoor area with heaters! It's a big white tent with quite a few tables, pretty lights, table decor, music. The staff is always incredible and really help set the tone! We went back in February for my birthday, and they offered my party blankets to keep us cozy while we sat outside. They were also accepting reservations which was very helpful! All in all, 10/10, love it, tell your friends, run don't walk. Love this place. My roommate and I call it "our spot" because we love it so much. (Cute, am I right?) Anyway. See you soon, Little Rascal (seriously though, I got a gift card for my birthday- best gift ever, so I'll be back soon)

Took my husband out for dinner here and absolutely loved the vibe. Cute, dimly lit, intimate. Could just as easily see a group of friends converging for dinner as I could a couple on a romantic date. The service was wonderful - our waitress answered all of our questions, adjusted the chef's sampler platter to suit allergies, and was just so friendly and nice. I'll say that the appetizer dish was fine overall - nothing blew me out of the water. BUT the main dish -- stewed okra with lamb on it -- AMAZING. I would return just for that, seriously. So tasty, so flavorful, and the texture was perfect. Highly recommend.

Great place for a good drink after dinner. The watermelon martini was very good. Would go back if I'm on the area.

Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and we were able to get a table outside without a reservation. The espresso martini was tasty, but tiny for $14. The Mediterranean omelet was similarly okay, but really thin and not very filling for $16 and the greens were SUPER salty. The Turkish quesadillas ($15) looked like a better deal, seemed to be more satisfying.

I've only been to Little Rascal once and this review is for their brunch! Been in NYC 7 years and always looked at that spot and told myself i wanted to go try it until my turkish friend invited me for Turkish breakfast and i was like it was time to check it out. We made a reservation for 9 ppl and ordered the prefixed 35$ breakfast that included cold and hot dishes (+tax and tips it comes to about 42$) I enjoyed the experience so much and the food was delicious. The place is small and intimate and you could miss it passiNg by. Definitely going back!!!

Dreadful service and appalling covid response (overcrowding indoors, bartender not wearing mask). Bathroom is disgusting. Came in with a friend and they tried to get us to share a table with other people. I had high hopes for the food, but we didn't even get everything we ordered! Our server was wickedly defensive and we could hear him arguing with other staff from our table!! Not to mention this place can't even make a basic martini. I sent the drink back and she made it even worse the second time. Haha, just pathetic. SOOO many better options in the neighborhood than this rat hole

Good brunch spot, they have signature cocktails as well. The Cucuk is really good and also try the mezcal cocktail. There's outside seating and the indoor is setup nicely as well. The menu options while limited, are quite tasty and the service was excellent. Good LES spot for brunch, would definitely recommend.

Food - 5 Neighborhood feel - 5 Noise level - 4 (desirable, not very noisy) Prices - 4 (very reasonable with NYC index) Staff - 5+ (kind, genuine, & prompt) Wednesday Night: We walked around until I found a fun local spot, and I was drawn to their chilled vibe. The large window and main door were open on a 69 degree night... wonderful!! My Old Fashion order was quick and perfect... a great start! We shared the phyllo wrapped feta, grilled octopus, and sultan's delight (roasted eggplant topped with brazed lamb). For two, that was plenty of food. I would definitely recommend this charming spot, and I will come back.

Love the atmosphere. Little Rascal is my favorite restaurant for Turkish breakfast in the City. It is a cozy and small place, so you may need to make a reservation, if you wanna avoid waiting, especially for Sunday brunche. I haven't been there yet for dinner but I highly recommend the prefix breakfast menu, which includes all the traditional Turkish breakfast dishes and unlimited tea/coffee.

Lovely little Turkish restaurant in nolita. I came on a Saturday night for dinner. This place was only half filled, so reservations are not required. Two of us ordered lamb entree, dip trio with yogurt, hummus and baba ganoush dips and Turkish beer. The dips come with warm soft bread. All dips are creamy and full of flavors. My favorite is hummus. The lamb entree is BIG! Lots of lamb meat, dips and veggies. The Turkish beer is light and refreshing. The service here is very friendly and the atmosphere is romantic and exotic. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Next time we aim to try the brunch

This place is charming - it's a bit small, but has an airy romantic atmosphere. Reservations are not hard to get as there aren't too many people there. The prices are also really good for what you get. We started off with some hummus which came with freshly baked warm bread. I then got the salmon which was cooked to perfection. It was so tender and it was HUGE! It came with a side of pilaf and some rice. It was definitely super healthy. I would highly recommend this place for a comforting Mediterranean meal!
