Fox Loves Taco Closes Taqueria and Coffee Shop by Brookland Metro - Eater DC

"Fox Loves Taco has closed after less than two years of business near the Brookland-CUA Metro station, depriving the neighborhood near Catholic University of a place to sample a variety of vegetarian fillings from the owners of the popular Little Red Fox market in Chevy Chase." - Gabe Hiatt

I was in the area in the early afternoon, and this place came up. Wanted to get a quick bite to eat if possible and of course a coffee. I had the breakfast burrito, and my wife had the Foxacado, both were yum. The people working here were kind and friendly. They have outside seating both in the front and back from what I could tell. Very cute place, would come back if we were closer.

I ordered iced honey cinnamon latte. It was good. There is no dine in and they still require to wear mask. I really like the outdoor seating but it is limited.

Nice place for coffee ☕️🍪 they also have cookies and other things. For the time being coffee only outside. A bit cold to be outside but understandable as covid measures apply. My

A good local coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was good. The sandwiches are well served and with good quality in the ingredientes. There is only seating outside.

This place is really fun. Little red foxes everywhere, fun decor, and more. The food is wholesome and tasty. Try the Fancy Grilled Cheese, Cuban, or BLT. The coffee is really some of the best in DC. There is a great book store a few doors down, and Rockcreek Park is a short drive. Grab some food and coffee and make an afternoon of it.

It's great that they open early morning for breakfast. There are different options for breakfast, from eggs & avocado to some pastries, with coffee of your choice.

The breakfast burrito here is top five. It's really phenomenal. It's big stuffed and very filling. If you're really hungry you won't be disappointed if you order the burrito. The little red fox is a cool cafe with a lot of seating outside. The service is pretty quick and the staff was pretty great. I also had a chai which was decent, no complaints.

Pretty decent food and drink. It’s meant to be a Portland themed cafe. It does really well at this, including pretentious, passive aggressive baristas. I’ve gone there a lot and loved when Soapstone joined the neighborhood because they were just super friendly people. Come back Soapstone!! Customer service needs a reboot with some legitimately friendly people. Only a few allergy sensitive options.
