The 13 Best Restaurants At San Francisco International Airport
"The soul food staples from Little Skillet are a solid option if you want something to fill you up for the next dozen or so hours of a transatlantic flight. They do everything from housemade cornbread and Cobb salads to Southern fried chicken with fries and coleslaw. It’s not the best fried chicken you’ll ever have, but it beats a sad plastic-wrapped sandwich any day." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez

This place opened at 4:15am which was awesome because our flight landed at 2am and our connecting flight was at 7am so we were ready to eat but few food options were open yet. The breakfast bowls were good, but not amazing for the price. Crispy tots, decent bacon. Fairly large portion sizes. Only big complaint was the cost and the cheese - I can only describe it as nacho sauce, not actual cheddar cheese. Their hot chai latte was good and so was the mocha. Total cost for two breakfast bowls, 16oz chai and 20oz mocha was around $70.
Staff barely acknowledged you, but the kiosks started their suggested tips at 25%. Not ideal in my opinion.

Little skillet cafe is located in terminal 2 of San Francisco International Airport. It’s located adjacent to gate C6. Right next-door is farmer Brown restaurant and opposite is the scoop convenience store. The café opens super early at 4:15 AM and offers coffee, espresso, breakfast, including sandwiches, burritos, muffins, and croissants. Staff is very friendly and overall I would recommend.

Opened on time at 4:15am and pleasant and quick ordering. First time customer, fun skillets, I chose their breakfast burrito with avocado and it had a semi sweet sauce, crunchy tots and well cooked eggs. It was delicious. The staff was courteous and quick which all of early bird flyers appreciated. Also Peets coffee is served🤗

Little skillet!! I used to go to the original Soma location many times after work. Surprised to see them branch to the airport scene. The ambiance looks right, the service is extremely slow for how big and busy this place gets. 1 server, and one cashier who is also the best tender with 2 cooks. Ironically, taking the order takes the longest, the food comes quick. It's pricey but you get a large serving.
Fried chicken 🍗 is actually fried chicken tenders with no bones. They don't mention this anywhere. The coleslaw is dry, the side salad is really just lettuce plus a few cherry tomatoes. Overall everything felt unseasoned. This place looks like little skillet, but tastes nothing like the real thing in my opinion

15.50 for the bbq pork wrap. Had hardly any filling. Avoid avoid avoid. McDonald’s made better wraps back in the day

Bad coffee, bad almond croissant. Good the blueberry muffins .
The service was not good , we arrive and the kitchen was close (10 am) then I came back to reheated my croissant and they told me it couldn't be done because a piece was bitten off, which they never warned me before that you could only reheat the whole croissant. I think the worst of all was the way they told me things. I do not recommend this place because of the service, the coffee and the food.

I got a breakfast burrito this morning at 10:30am and by 5pm my stomach was hurting too much so I decided it was time to bite the bullet and throw it up. The burrito wasn't served warm so they likely prepped it in the morning and the heat lamp didn't do a good job of preventing bacteria growth.
The burrito itself was overpriced and nothing special. If it didn't make me throw up I wouldn't have regretted the $18 that much.

The”help” was anything but helpful. Ignoring you when the menu kiosk malfunctions which happens frequently from what I saw with the people in line. Food was average at best but well beyond the price you would pay in a competitive market where they have a monopoly on food in the C terminal early in the morning. Sad that they are entitled to such high minimum wages in CA when they just don’t care.
