"The oozy, buttery deep-dish pies at Little Star are not a carbon copy of some Chicago creation by any stretch. With topping possibilities like artichokes and goat cheese, they’re a distinctly California creation — and a drop-dead delicious one at that. Don’t miss the classic — with sausage, mushrooms, and green bell pepper — and the spicy chicken wings. The wine and beer list isn’t all that bad either." - Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

"Chicago-style pizza—on the west coast. Little Star is the go-to address for San Franciscans looking for deep-dish pies, which come replete with a rich, chunky tomato sauce, perfectly distributed cheese, and a variety of signature topping combinations (the namesake Little Star, a savory masterpiece, involves spinach, feta, ricotta, mushrooms, onions... use your imagination). But you won't regret going for a salad, too—and some of the restaurant's excellent cheesecake, if you have room." - Carey Jones

We happened upon this place after a quick google search for gluten free pizza around us. And we are very happy we tried it out! The gluten free crust is excellent, the flavors are good, and the ingredients seemed fresh. What else could you need! Service was attentive and helpful. Place is cute and small. We will likely be back.

I haven’t had their Deep Dish pizza yet, so just reviewing it on the takeout I had with pepperoni and onion. Was pretty good! Lots of topping, which I appreciate, and not too much sauce. We also had the garlic bread, a great starter to-go.

We went there as a big group of 18 people and ordered all together 7 big deep dish pizzas. Our ranking of the 4 flavors we went with: 1 Portobello 2 BBQ chicken 3 Meateor 4 Classic Overall we had a fantastic time and the pizzas were super tasty. Especially the first 2. But beware: some of us ate 4 slices and afterwards we stopped being functioning human beings 😀 But definitely come here for an amazing Chicago style deep dish pizza experience!

My first time trying deep dish pizza, it was so yummy and was the best pizza I ever tried in my entire life. I ordered Apollo deep dish small size as per picture, with chicken, spinach, bacon and onions, lots of tomato pasta and Brie. It was just melting in my mouth, the dough was perfectly cooked with crisp. Overall, the pizza was overloaded with cheese and other Ingredients in full. There was Parmesan and spicy olive oil that could add more different flavours to pizza. It was served hot, kept the temperature for a long time!

Google
Good pizza if you are in the area. Not a deep dish fan but the thin crust was nice and crunchy. Their wings are baked but still delicious. Coming from Texas, it was strange not having ranch lol. Their garlic bread looks like a mini pizza too. Pretty cool little place.

Came here on a Friday night! They won’t sit you until your whole party arrives and they don’t take reservations. Our waiter was super nice and friendly. All the prices are reasonable and we enjoyed all the food. We shared the large salad, little star large thin crust and a custom topping large deep dish with pineapple and chicken. We also got a bottle of cava and 2 brownie sundaes. All for 4 people. We were stuffed and had left overs. I loved the deep dish! I’m from New York and I would favor a classic nyc slice but no this place has turned me on to deep dish. The flavor of the sauce, the crispy dough, it was all so good. And the thin crust pizza we got was packed with vegetable toppings. All the cheese too was super gooey and delicious. The brownie with the mint gelato was amazing. Brownie was warm, rich and decadent. I wish I new the brand of gelato because that was some of the best I ever had. So creamy and chocolate chunks tasted super high quality. The vibe is mellow, kind of chic and minimalist inside. Low light and very clean. I had a great night here!

Pre-COVID review. We were greeted right away upon walking in. We went for the bar right away knowing we would get faster service. A small but nice little place. Staff was extremely nice and helpful with all the menu items. We asked about their vegan options. They luckily have many. And even a full vegan pizza, dough, cheese and all! excellent! We ordered the vegan pizza in square pan. And the traditional margarita pizza with pepperoni. Now I myself is not vegan. But I had to try it to see if it actually tasted like pizza at all. And to my surprised it did. It had great flavor. Very filling. I can definitely say that if you're vegan. THIS place has an amazing vegan pizza! Moving onto the none vegan pizza ( YAY! ) lol. The dough was very fresh tasting. Tomato and basil was perfect. Pepperoni was true pepperoni. Tasted like it came from Italy. No joke. I definitely want to go back here and try more styles of their pizza. They all look and smell amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Is because when it starts to get extremely busy. They don't handle the line or people waiting to well. There isn't enough staff at busy times it feels like. And from what I saw. Decor: New and updated. No issues. Customer service: Absolutely amazing. Food: FAR above average. Bathrooms: Very clean. Perfect.

If you order their deep dish pizza, be sure to order one of their small thin crusts as well because you will be waiting 30 agonizing minutes for the deep dish while you drool at every table around you that already have food. The smell in the restaurant is incredible and will have you salivating. Best of all it does not smell greasy! They use corn meal for the crusts so the bottom of the deep dish stays crispy for longer. The cheese is exteremly stringy and satisfying. The pizza has a lot of sauce if you like that as well. Sometimes the sauce can be overwhelming.

Yelp
The Classic Chicago deep dish pizza here is easily my favorite pizza in all of San Francisco. What's more is that this is actually my second favorite pizza period. After having tried some famous spots in New York and Chicago, I still attest that this is among the best. Everything about the pizza is delicious but I think what really elevates it to put it among the greats is the crust - it's got a really nice, fresh, lightly sweet quality that I haven't found at other deep dish pizzerias.

Yelp
Highly recommended by Sonia C. We dined in after a matinee BroadwaySF performance. Both Little Star Pizza locations were pretty close by, but we chose this Divisadero location in the residential area for easier parking. A little hard to spot the sign behind the tree from across the street, but we found it. Seated right away. Started with the Burrata Caprese ($15) to share, and also decided on splitting a Large DD (Deep Dish), half and half. The Burrata was super fresh tomato, basil, olives. Could have used more pieces of toast, or maybe our ratios of toppings to toast were off, ha. Sonia's DD pizza half was Build Your Own where she had red sauce, pesto, mozzarella, goat cheese, sun-dried tomato, bacon, and I forget what else. My half was pretty simple, the Meateor 2.0 (pepperoni, sausage, caramelized red onion, mushrooms, and chili flakes). Note that you can get either the thin crust or deep dish, and for thin crust Small is 12" and Large is 16", while for DD the Small is 9" and the Large is 12". Each half of the pizza ended up being 4 slices total. After the burrata app, I had 3 slices of my Meateor and tried one slice of Sonia's as the finisher. That is to say, it finished me. Should have taken a bite and taken the rest to go, as it left me royally stuffed for the drive home...the two cheeses really made it pretty rich/heavy to eat. Still good though! The crust was crispy and maybe a cornmealy texture/flavor I couldn't place. According to their social media page, this original location of Little Star would be closing for good late December 2023 or late January 2024, but they do have the other SF location (Mission) and others around the Bay (Litte Star Albany, The Star Oakland, The Star Alameda).

Yelp
Absolutely love this classic divis pizza spot! Affordable, fresh and friendly! Love their little star pizza and garlic cheese bread appetizer. Usually I order pickup 20-35 min ahead of time which is so quick and easy, in and out in 2 min. Eat in is usually little to no wait too! Seriously one of my gotos since moving to NOPA area. Have been here more than any other place since the move. Sad to see them leave soon, so get your orders in before they do!

Yelp
So it's actually been a while since I've been to this location. Probably, I dunno 10-15 years? Surprisingly enough, the food is still great! Came for dinner (party of 4) and was greeted with the familiar friendly smile. Started the table with a bottle cheesy bread and burrata. Standard run of the mill, but appreciate the classic Italian palate. The tomatoes and burrata were sitting on evoo + balsamic w/ a few crostini's and basil to garnish. The super star is the pizza (obviously) - did a create your own deep dish. Don't let the portion size fool you, it's definitely filling. That cornbread crush though - I would order pizza crust if that was a thing, but alas it's not (sorry the pizza didn't make the picture). The sauce is not too spicy and seasoned perfectly. Nothing exciting about the server - he let you do your thing and enjoy the company. All in all, why a 5? It's that good. The pizza sells itself. 2 apps, large pizza, bottle of wine +2 glasses and a beer tallied to about $160 (with tip).

Yelp
Review #2600 Little Star Pizza has always been a star in my book. I cannot believe I haven't already reviewed this location. Though Little Star is known for their buttery deep dish pizzas, I'm partial to their thin, crunchy, crispy cornmeal crust (say that five times fast.) My last order was a small build-your-own half & half: my go-to toppings, mushrooms & black olives, on one side, green bell peppers & sausage on the other. We're not talking sausage crumbles here, these almost look & taste like slices up meatballs. Delicious & not greasy -- I love that. Little Star was supposed to close last year but it seems they'll be around til at least Fall 2024. They've been open for 20 years, I wish them luck & hope they can continue to stay in business.

Yelp
It's the best pizza I've had in San Francisco that I can recall ever. The staff were very friendly and were extremely attentive the entire time that I was there. I ordered the deep dish Margherita. It's unbelievable to say the least . I've never had this style of pizza in a deep dish, but I'll have to try it again when I'm in San Francisco. My favorite part was the crust . The slices were huge and one slice was enough for me and 6 of my friends in a to go box . I have to try the bbq pizza next.

Christina S.

Yelp
Honestly. Overall just not impressed. Sad to say...my friend state that her "red Barron thin crust pizza slaps way harder". She said little Cesar's garlic bread had so much flavor in comparison. Like really... where is the flavor! :( the ingredients r ALL there but damnnn 100$. One and done won't ever go back. I'm glad that have good reviews but hard no for me. We both agree the pizza just tasted "saucey" and not even good sauce at that. It was pretty unseasoned and so bland. The salad was no bueno. Eek. And like two tablespoons of dressing for a whole ass large container? What I gunna do? Graze like a cow on dry leaves? Good try. Cuz never know and I like to try things twice but some places r def not worth a second visit. Sorry Luckily I'm a grain of sand in over 3k reviews!

Yelp
Bo is the BEST - he keeps us happy with food/beers! With a deadline to eat more Little Star's pizzas before the end of January - we are delighted to devour pizza once a week. Here on 1/31/24 for thin crust half and half - white and Meateor and the Good News that Little Star will maintain neighborhood service month-to-month or until September 2024.

Yelp
Our favorite pizza place in town! As for the price, it is not cheap. It is definitely something we treat ourselves to because of the price. But it is soooo good! I have tried deep dish pizza in Chicago and I think Little Star is better! I highly recommend trying one of the deep dish pizzas. The best part is definitely the crust that is made out of corn mill (I think). Tip: ask for some ranch! I have only done pick up orders with them but all the workers were always nice, whether they were busy or not. And the store is on the darker side, as with the ambiance. It seems like a cute place to have a date as well.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Their corn meal deep dish dough is so good! I honestly can't believe how much food we got for the quality and price. I also like how you can do a half and half pizza and it's only $1 more. Highly recommend their spicy wings (its not that spicy but still good). And their deep dish pizza: half Little Star and half Meteor. And our server took really good care of us! Much appreciated! We WILL be back.

Yelp
Leaving the debate if deep dish pizza is actually a pizza or casserole for another occassion, I have to admit that Little Star does this style as good as any that I had a chance to try. Familiar with the menu from other locations, I was glad to find Little Star so close to the venue where we came to see the concert (The Independent). We had enough time before the show started to not be in a hurry, so though the service was a little slow, we didn't mind. This location is probably the smallest out of the 3 they have and very unassuming...so much that a passerby might miss it due to lack of any significant signage. We got seated promptly and ordered 2 IPAs from Original Pattern and roasted kale for a starter. I'm not a big fan of kale (is anyone?), but the seasoning and right amount of cheese made this appetizer actually enjoyable. Though we ordered a large Margherita Plus to share, we ended up getting 2 small ones since they were out of the large dough. Guess they make the crusts in advance? In any case, we got charged the same as the large and it worked out for the better since we ended up packing one of the pies to-go. Though the size might fool a naked eye, Little Star's DD "pizzas" are very rich and extremely filling. I would recommend a small to share between 2 people. Prices are not too crazy, considering the area. I noticed that this part of SF has some really cool new(er) places to check out, but if I'm not in the mood to explore, Little Star is tried and tested and I'll surely be back.

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a wk day because Little Star pizza of SF is the best deep dish I've had myself. It's not easy to find parking in the neighborhood since it has a good number of other restaurants and businesses. But there is a parking garage near by less than 2 blocks called Alamo Square Park & Charge. This garage is Mon-Fri 9am-9pm and always free, yes I couldn't believe it either. It's neat because a machine takes your car and stores it after you park your car just right on the ramp, it has to be perfectly centered. There was no wait to be seated in the restaurant and luckily I came right when happy hr was still going. From the happy hr menu I ordered the burrata caprese appetizer and omg was it so good. The small breads or crostinis were toasted just right and the basalm was good with the burrata cheese. You could taste how fresh all the ingredients were even the olive oil. Then I ordered a personal deep dish half margherita and half build your own with bacon, pesto, goat cheese, and sundried tomatoes. Their crust is so good like a cornmeal buttery flavor? The pizza was so flavorful, both sides were great. Their deep dish is filling and rich so I had leftovers. For 2 people I'd say maybe the small pizza I ordered is fine if you're sharing an appetizer. But if you're doing only pizza for 2 or more people I'd say go with the bigger size pizza. The service was good and the waitress was attentive.

Areeta W.

Yelp
Super cute place in Hayes Valley! My group of 4 came around 6:30PM on a Thursday and got seated right away. Our waiter was so attentive, nice, and fast with our orders; they were super communicative about everything. We originally ordered small 1 deep dish with half Meateor 2.0 and half Little Star and small 1 thin crust with half Italian Combo and half Margherita Plus. However, they ended up giving us two separate small deep dish pizzas! For pizza ordering, Meateor 2.0 then Little Star then Margherita Plus then Italian Combo (the green bell pepper was not a good addition). I love how we were able to order one pizza with different flavors so we could try more things! I definitely want to come back for the Weeknight Happy Hour which is Monday to Friday til 6:30pm! Overall, slay time and I was super full after. I'd come here again!

Gizmo T.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our deep dish pizzas at Little Star. We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food. The service is also attentive. We've had various deeps dish pizzas - Uno's (when they still existed), Zachary's in Berkely and BJs to name a few. I would say LIttle Star's deep dish is right up there with the best we've had. It's flavorful, cheesy and very filling.

Alli P.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Closest I've come to getting a pizza as good as Chicago deep-dish. They're consistently good, top quality ingredients. Service is incredibly nice. The inside is trendy and fun. Overall a really solid pizza place!

Valerie K.

Yelp
Great dine in for family time. Or for a date night. Servers were very friendly. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the star dish (deep dish pizzas) but here is the roasted kale! The roasted kale was really flavorful! I wasn't expecting for it come out and be served this way but now I know of a new way to cook kale! Roasted kale is served with Parmesan cheese and lemon wedge.

Kelley S.

Yelp
Came here last min with some friends for dinner after having read about how good the pizza was here and was not disappointed at all!! The restaurant is smaller and has a cool vibe with quirky decor on the walls and shelves! Our server was really attentive and kind - he actually chased us down after we left cause we forgot our leftover box 10/10 service tyty I haven't had a deep dish pizza in a while and so I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised! The butternut and bacon was hands down one of my favorite flavor combinations I've had in a reallllly long time! The sweetness of the butternut and the creaminess of the goat cheese cut through with the saltiness of the bacon and heat from the hot honey! Def new my fav pizza in sf! If you're looking for a good deep dish pizza this is the spot! I will definitely be coming back!!

Seth B.

Yelp
They pull off true deep dish, a thin crispy crust that lifts up a loaded inch of toppings to eat by hand. Real Chicago deep dish doesn't need fork/knife. Local brews on fresh taps, caring service, cozy, game TV. Dine in to enjoy the perfection so that they stay open. To compare, east bay Zachary's tomato sauce is too "specially seasoned" for the volume of a deep dish

Camilla M.

Yelp
First the first time after 3 years we live close by, we tried this pizza restaurant. We picked up 2 small deep dish (the Margherita plus and the little star). Portion are super big (2 small are enough for 3 people). I loved the crust and the ingredients (but the quantity of garlic was too much). I think I ate too many slices because it was heavy to digest. Overall I liked the pizza even though was different from the one I ate in Chicago.

Katie C.

Yelp
Little Star small deep dish pizza, Italian sub green peppers for roasted red peppers. Please and thanks! This is our go-to order but their thing crust is also delicious. It's simple but good quality ingredients. We enjoyed their house salad as well, good dressing. To-go orders are usually ready within 30 minutes. My star rating: 5 - must go!!! 4 - liked it, give it a try! 3 - it was alright 2 - I probably won't go back 1 - turnaround and run

Michael C.

Yelp
We walked by this pizza shop a couple of times and it always smelled lovely, so we finally decided to give it a try! Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait at all and got seated right away. The interior has nice mood lighting, so definitely good for a date night! We got the meteor thin crust, and it was certainly good! So many toppings; probably the most toppings I've ever seen on a pizza. This somewhat overwhelmed the cheese and tomato sauce, but definitely a preference thing! The crust was also super good. It had a nice crisp with some dusting of cornmeal, which gave it a really nice texture. Overall, really enjoyed it! Will stop by to give the deep dish a go since thats what they're known for.

Prasiddha H.

Yelp
Was having date night with the boy and we decided we wanted to do take out with the boy - this place popped up and we are so glad it did because the food was awesome! We ended ordering the following online: * little star dd (small) - this was the deep dish pizza with spinach ricotta amongst other things and was delicious! A dash of honey with some crushed red pepper really did the trick! *chicken wings - this was delicious and came with a side of bleu cheese. Really enjoyed the marinade for these wings Overall the food was great and the order was ready when we got there which was awesome, everything was fresh and delicious! Would recommend this spot!

Vivian G.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food. We got the Chicago-style deep dish, half Little Star and half Meteor 2.0. Both were so delicious. We came in time for happy hour menu items and also ordered the roasted kale and garlic bread along with a couple of drinks. These happy hour prices were such good deals considering this being SF. Would definitely eat here again

Michael C.

Yelp
Excellent Food. Awful service. We were waiting for our food over 45 minutes since we ordered. Our waiter, Angie, finally came over to us and said "I forgot to put your order in. No worries, though, I'll put it in right now." I asked "Is that going to be an additional 30 minutes for the deep dish pizzas?" Angie said "yes", and walked away. No apologies for the mishap. Nothing. It didn't seemed to phase her that waiting another 30 minutes would possibly be an issue. So if you ever get a waitress named Angie, just double check to see if she puts your order in.

IkJae C.

Yelp
Did take out and was shocked at how heavy the pizza box felt in my hands. I kid you not, it felt like a solid 5 pounds of food. The man working the counter was super chill and cracked jokes while ringing up my order, I appreciated that, it's kind of a lost art nowadays. Can't speak on the ambiance but it looked pretty empty at 5pm on a weekday.

Kyle L.

Yelp
Came here for lunch the other day and I gotta say - amazing. Great place on Divisadero to stop by before and/or after an outing at Alamo Square Park. Wasn't busy so we got sat down immediately at the table that faces the front window (great table, by the way). Haven't really tried my hand at any Deep Dish pizzas while living here in SF and I am sooo glad Little Star was my first introduction. Just fantastic. A 6-piece pie is more than enough to share for two. Our server also mentioned that they can split it half and half with two different styles, which is what we did. The garlic bread with marinara is also some of the BEST I've tried. Great friendly service and atmosphere, and most importantly, great pizza. Can't wait to be back to try out all their other pies they have to offer. Hats off to you, Little Star.

Julia H.

Yelp
This has been on my list for a LONG time and finally took the chance to try it out. Lots of yelp reviews and friends have RAVED about little star but I was a tad skeptical cause I have mixed feelings about deep dish pizza. BUT little star has really blown me away! I got the margherita deep dish (small) and it was delicious!!! Mostly because of the GARLIC! So many garlic cloves in the pizza, it was delicious!! I feel like the price was a little daunting to me, but if you consider how many mouths one pizza will feed, it really isn't too bad! I was also surprised how much I liked the crust, considering I like a chewy doughy crust. This crust is pretty crunchy but also packs in a lot of garlic flavor. I ordered for pick up, and it was prepared fresh right on time. Everyone there was super nice, and I can't wait to go back and order a large deep dish!

Yixuan L.

Yelp
We ordered takeout on a Sunday evening and the pizza was ready for pick up in under 15 minutes! We got the 12 inch thin crust eggplant pie (roasted eggplant, goat cheese, roasted red pepper, roasted garlic, chili flake, basil), and it was so delicious. The 12 inch easily feeds 2-3 people. There was an explosion of flavors with every bite and the roasted garlic made the pizza SO creamy. Highly recommend if you're looking for vegetarian pizza options! Excited to try their deep dish options next :)

Tabitha C.

Yelp
Well I gotta disagree with the Yelp CEO here.... This is my favorite spot for deep dish in the Bay! The location is right next to Boba Guys off Divisadero, only about a block away from Alamo Square Park. Surprisingly, there was no wait on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm. We wandered in starving and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. Based on previous reviews, it seems like this hasn't always been the case. I must say I was grateful for the reprieve. Their deep dish pizzas do take forever to bake, so an appetizer is essential. Luckily, they have an absolutely divine burrata caprese topped with olives. It's so delicious! It's seriously so good that I find myself thinking about it all the time now. When I get one of my frequent bruschetta cravings, this is the first thing that pops into my head. Now enough about the caprese... because the deep dish needs its own moment to shine. WOW. That's all I have to say. In my opinion, they do as good of a job as all of the main guys in Chicago. They even have whole cloves of roasted garlic in their Margherita..... Yum! The flavors are all just there, omnipotent. FYI - They are now checking vaccination cards at the door, so remember to bring that and a photo ID!

Toni E.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas we've had ! The service was great & the recommendation from the employees was amazing !

Sofia V.

Yelp
Visited Frisco based on the reviews had to try this pizza spot. Based on our server's recommendation we tried the Little Star (deep dish). The pie was made to order and was warned it took half an hour. I prefer fresh made-to-order food so the time was okay with me. They immediately served us water and took our order. The pie was super filling and for the first time, we didn't add a meat topping. A deep dish pie is big for everyone but hit the spot for us. It was raining outside and quite cold inside especially sitting on their aluminum chairs. Casual Dining with metered street parking.

Allison S.

Yelp
This is the one! Little Star on Valencia was the polar opposite to this location. Staff is nice, attentive, quick, and professional. The restaurant had a good amount of customers yet our server always came back to check in on us. My favorite is the deep dish. This one came out delicious and had lots of roasted garlic chunks! I will be coming back when I get a craving. I'm not a crust person but I love eating theirs.

Manta K.

Yelp
Little star has amazing deep dish pizza. The employees are really friendly and are available to help with any questions you may have. There are many dietary options, feel free to ask staff if you need assistance. Parking in the area is a bit difficult. If you are doing takeout be prepared to send someone in for you or to double park. Take out is next to the bar. If eating inside, be aware there is limited seating. They have a jukebox which is fun! We ordered a few pies for takeout ahead of time and when we got home the pies were a bit cold (reason for docking a star). But we reheated them and they were still tasty just a bit soggy on the bottom. We still recommend them and can't wait to eat their pizza again!

As someone who is a bit selective about deep dish, perhaps not in the traditional ways, I can say I really enjoyed the deep dish on my first visit to Little Star! I started with the Kale, which was nice and crispy and had a layer of lightly browned feta & red pepper flakes to give it some flavor. I got the Classic Deep Dish Pizza, and it delivered on a delicious classic deep dish experience! It was full of cheese, tomato sauce, sausage, mushrooms, onion, and bell peppers which gave it a hearty well rounded set of flavors & morsels in each slice. The crust was very interesting, as it had a nice crispy exterior with a bready but not crazy thick middle. I'd recommend this as a great spot for anyone with a deep dish craving or looking for a hearty meal!

Yelp
My bf and I tried the Bbq chicken and the Meateor deep dish pizza, it was very flavorful and delicious . We also had the spicy chicken wings and give them a 5/5, highly recommend them with a side of ranch. Bo, our waiter, was very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Been meaning to try the place and finally had a chance to check things out. Popped in just as they opened with some friends and the place certainly didn't disappoint. Service answered any questions we had and checked in often. We had gotten a deep dish and garlic bread to share while we waited. The food was solid, sauce with just enough bite, and the cornmeal crust worked wonders for different textures on the bite. Customizing seemed really easy too, and suggestions by the service were on point. I would definitely swing by again in the area, and probably see about picking some up for home too. If only they delivered this far.

Yelp
Love this place! We were originally considering traveling to Oakland but a friend recommended this spot and I think it's amazing! It does remind me of the chicago deep dish style pizza that you might find out east. Ingredients and prep were on point. Service was A+ We got in without a wait!

Yelp
Big fan of Little Star, especially since we live so close. Love the burrata caprese, Little Star deep dish, and Italian deep dish. Our son always, always kills his child size cheese pizza as well. Little Star was originally slated to close end of 2023, but have managed to extend a bit. Here's to hoping they continue to stay open rather than close shop!

Yelp
Worth the hype... staff was super duper friendly - like so much more friendly then a normal restaurant. Food was crazy .... Cheese pulls 4 dayz. def coming back .. split 1 small pizza between 2 peeps and was a good amount.

Yelp
Burrata caprese - the bread was perfectly toasted! The bread soaked the olive oil and vinegar topped with burrata and the cherry tomatoes is so good. Half Margherita & White deep dish - the Margherita was solid and the white felt very light with the zucchini. The deep dish wasn't as fluffy as I thought, it was actually very dense and dry. The crust was super hard. I was a little disappointed. Probably just an off day and the pizza was left in the oven too long.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic, I ordered a deep dish pepperoni pizza it look a little small but don't be alarmed. My pizza fed all of the three of us and we still have two slices to go. Taste "10" Daniel has great customer service and Dali was really nice and kind as well. My daughter loved it, my wife loved it. What can I say? I love it too. Thanks.

Yelp
I will miss you! I don't remember exactly when I started going to this location, but it's been well over 10 years. Stop by soon - it looks like you all have at least another few weeks! I'm having deep dish in Long Beach now, but I already know it won't be the same.

Yelp
Ordered delivery during a night in watching the little Pumpkin. Tried a few starters- roasted kale was delish, burrata nice and creamy (though the tomatoes were basic). This location didn't have as many salad options for delivery as I saw on the website, but the mixed greens were fresh with a good dressing. I'd hold the blue cheese next time, but couldn't figure out how own the Uber app. Deep dish pizzas are fab. Cornmeal crust is amazing. The Little Star pizza with spinach, cheese, and a chunky tomato sauce was awesome. Even the boys liked it better than the meat one. Recommend!

Yelp
Comparable to Zacharys, which is the GOAT. So if i lived closer id go here. The crust was garlicky if i recall, which is a leg up on Zacks, if youre into that sort of thing

Yelp
Ahhh the price is right and the food is GREAT! Loved the pizza, especially the crust! Sometimes I feel like the crust is an afterthought for deep dish, but the crust here did its job structurally and flavorfully. The wings weren't too spicy--I probably would've wanted them to be spicier, but they weren't too dry, and the blue cheese dipping sauce was super tasty! The cocktail I got (forget what it's called) was also super drinkable--I could've had like five. Deep dish isn't something I can eat all the time, but whenever I crave it, it'll probably be from here! Great service, too. Our server was super friendly.

Yelp
One of very few actually good pizza places in SF. At least the Chicago style deep dish was! It was almost as good as Giordanos which was completely unexpected. I would definitely order from here again, especially if you want good pizza bc that's so difficult to find here in SF
