This restaurant is inside of the Marriott hotel. We frequented this place for breakfast, lunch and to grab quick drinks. The staffs are friendly but it does take some time for the food to come out. Their chicken caesar wrap was good and you get an option to get a salad or fries. The price is also friendly for Napa Valley. I was able to use my dining credits while staying there and it’s convenient cause you can just charge the bill to your room. There’s plenty of tables and the bar is large, never had to wait for a table or a place to sit.

Huevos rancheros (salsa on the side so my toddler could try) was delicious, as well as the biscuits and gravy. The waitresses were so warm & friendly. Amazing breakfast 🍳

I went in for cocktails on Christmas, and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks. "The Dirty" martini was hands down one of the best martinis I've had in a while! Service was slow despite not that many people being there. That said, I am looking forward to returning!

We typically avoid restaurants in hotels but this place turned out to be quite amazing. Local ingredients and a modern menu. Everything we had was high quality and tasted amazing. I live in Napa and look forward to my next visit. Well done, Little Summer! Also, there were plenty of options for the vegetarians in your party.

My girlfriend has celiac disease (strictly gluten free) and the kitchen is always super accommodating -- even grilling (not frying) the chicken wings!

Venue is beautiful, and the staff was excellent. However, the food was inconsistent. The wings and the fries were perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The hamburger was not seasoned. I had the trout, I don’t think it was trout, but in either case it was over cooked. However, the grains and vegetables that the fish was laying on was excellent. Decor was very outdated and not inviting. We r locals and went to try out happy hour. There was hardly anyone there but both bar tender and food service was slow. Potstickers and sliders were good. Chicken wings were chewy, tough and old. Mac and cheese was gummy, forgot green onions and bar tender told us there were issues with it. Had to ask for several things twice because bar tender kept forgetting. Thought it was funny when I asked about pasta special he said the items just all put together with no sauce. Made it sound really unappealing. It was our first time here and unfortunately our last. Nothing was memorable, food or service.

Don't let the hotel restaurant vibe throw you off of this amazing Napa Valley inspired menu. Chef Ben is throwing up locally sourced ingredients with modern New American flavors. We live two blocks away and had written off this restaurant pre-April 2022 reboot. But, we're making this one of our recurring stomping grounds going forward. Sit at the bar for the best service.

Yelp
Enjoying time with my veteran friend and these tasty treats in the Happy Hour menu. Fried Brussels sprouts with green olive and preserved lemon remoulade and chicharrones. Very good. Could use some bacon, but 4 stars. And only $6 on HH.

Yelp
We stayed at the Marriott Hotel for 3 nights . It was a wonderful stay and we will return soon. Little Summer is the hotel's "go-to" restaurant ; hence, we frequented quite often during our stay. FOOD Hamburger 4 1/2 stars - came with a toasted sesame bun with lovely hamburger meat done perfectly medium rare and grilled onions. Lettuce, tomato were served on the side . Chicken Wings- 3 3/4 stars Plump and juicy , it was delicious. Just a little bit too much sauce. Devil Eggs - 4 stars Elixers - great choices SERVICE Although the food was wonderful... service was not up to par. It took about 15 minutes the first night to get anyone to give us a menu. I asked for hot water a few times and it never came. I was starving and waited a loooooong time for my hamburger . However, the check came before my dinner plate. I waited another 10 minutes before asking the server to check and overheard conversation that servers were did not check to see if my burger was ready. By the time I got my dinner , it was lukewarm. 2 1/2 stars

Yelp
Everyone at this restaurant is very nice. Establishment is clean and seating is ample and comfortable. Stayed the three day weekend. I ordered chicken wings as appetizers one evening and they were just OK. I would Not order them again. I Had avocado toast for breakfast Monday morning. Asked for Poached eggs which came soft boiled and had a very strong taste of vinegar. I usually would have sent them back but time did not Permit. One friend ordered the same and had the same review. Another friend ordered scrambled and the eggs arrived visually over cooked and dry. Again very nice people but the food fell short.

Yelp
Showed up and saw a couple people dining, but otherwise the place was completely empty. We saw a sign that says please seat yourself so that's what we did. We had a party of 9 and took the benches against the wall. A lady said she'll be right with us and never came back. No water. No menus. Nothing. Ten minutes pass. Still nobody. I had to go to the front desk and ask if anybody was working and they went and grabbed the same person that disappeared earlier. Finally we got water, menus and silverware. Another ten minutes pass and I have to grab somebody else to find someone to take our order. By this time our whole party had enough time to memorize the menu. As we started ordering, on then did the wait staff notice we have two young kids, 2 and 6. "Oh did you guys want children's menus?" Obviously if they were available. So we changed up our order a bit to fit the kids and was able to send it off to the kitchen. 20 minutes pass. No food. No refills on water. No checking up on us to see how we're doing. Then someone shows up and mentions something that we ordered and we confirmed it was us. I figure that would be straightforward since there's nobody else here. Another 10 minutes and the food finally starts coming out. I can't imagine how long the ordering process or the cooking process would take if the restaurant was even at half capacity. Another oddity was when the food was brought out it was done by three new people we didn't even see. Where was the staff earlier? All taking a break at the same time? On to the food. The fried rock shrimp tasted it was recently thawed out, maybe even defrosted in the microwave. Turkey bacon was nice and crispy on the top and a soggy mush on the bottom. Burger was ok but overall it was definitely way subpar for the price everything cost. We should have just went to Gott's but we were starving while waiting for our window to check in.

Yelp
This little place is nestled in the Marriott. The presentation of the food was flawless I should have taken a picture of my breakfast when it arrived. I had an omelette. The spinach tasted like it came from a can. I was unable to eat it. I told the waiter. He said he would talk to the chef. He never came back. A busser came by. I told him the same thing. Say, the same response. We came for breakfast so they did not serve french fries I am assuming the ones on the floor were left from the previous night. (See photo) I don't want to miss the opportunity to speak about the bellman. He was amazing. He brought us a complimentary bottle of wine for our table and made us feel comfortable ands welcomed. He might be the only reason to stop in. His name is Shredrick.if you go in I'm sure you will see him.

Yelp
Convenient for being at our hotel for a quick lunch and that's about it! $72 for 2 salads, and only one had chicken which was a $16 chicken upgrade! No thank you! We tipped $15 for him to bring it to the pool and after 30 minutes we had to retrieve ourselves! What did we even tip for if he only took our order?

Yelp
We were staying at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa for the weekend. Returned late from a concert one night and was looking for some place to eat. Asked the front desk and they informed us that we can try Little Summer which may be closing in 15 minutes. Was hoping we would still get served a decent meal and boy we were pleasantly surprised! The bar was full but there were no other diners. The place was well-lit and inviting with no obvious sign of closing for the night. Irene, our server, was very nice and accommodating. We never felt rushed and she was very patient as we made our decisions on what to order. The Tempura Avocado was a great start. We shared the Half Roasted Chicken which was perfectly roasted chicken so tasty and juicy served with zucchini, fingerling potatoes and fried basil. The perfect ending to our delightful meal was the Warm Butter Toffee Cake served with pistachio gelato, a sprinkle of candied pistachios, and a drizzle of salted caramel. Truly a five star experience!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience last night at Little Summer. I had not heard anything about it and had no expectations. We were spending a night in Napa on our way home from Oregon and stayed at the Marriott. We had a late lunch---so we wandered down to the restaurant on the late side. We sat at the bar and service was excellent. We only ordered a few items, but they were worth writing about. Deviled eggs-- well executed, but the star was the fried avocado topper, yum! Seared scallops- they were served on a polenta cake. The flavors and textures surprised me. Excellent. Espresso Martini-- just they way I ordered it. Perfect. What seemed to be a simple hotel lobby/bar, turned out to be a lot more. It's always nice to surprised in a great way. We will return.

Yelp
I ordered Fried Rock Shrimp and it was definitely on the saltier side. It was crunchy even after being in the togo box for awhile. Service is good despite being so busy.

Yelp
Hubby found this place on Yelp not realizing it was located in the Marriott. We came here for lunch as it was close to my work. We practically had the place to ourselves! The server was very nice and attentive. Menu is rather limited and much like elevated bar menu, which was fairly fitting for the space. Food was decent and filling. We ordered too much for two people! I'd likely come back if I just wanted a nice but casual lunch.

Yelp
After a day visiting wineries, we didn't have the energy to find somewhere to eat, so this little restaurant within the hotel was our top choice. We stepped in and we weren't greeted, so we asked at the bar if it was open seating, and they said yes, pick your table. We sat down and it was about ten minutes before a waitress came by for orders. I ordered the beet salad and a side of fries. The fries were delicious- hot, crispy on the outside, tasty. The beet salad, while not what I anticipated, was also delicious. It was simple and clean and healthy. There was no lettuce involved, which was a disappointment but I still really enjoyed the salad. I ran out of water about halfway through dinner and it wasn't noted/refilled. I think they were short staffed today. Overall the food was delicious. I wish they had a somewhat bigger menu with more options but what I had was great. While staff was friendly, it would be nice to have more attentive service.

Yelp
The food is fine for a Marriott lobby restaurant. But this is marketed as a fine farm-to-table restaurant. Food was pretty good. Drinks were only ok. Fine in a pinch. But the caliber of restaurants is extraordinary, so it's worth coming off-property.

Dawn M.

Yelp
It's attached to the Marriott so there is the convenience factor and the food was good enough. Don't go there for exceptional service. The service is efficient enough, they just aren't very friendly. The quinoa bowls for lunch were fantastic. For breakfast I had the avocado toast and my sister had the French toast. Both were tasty.

Yelp
We were lucky to be the only ones there inside the restaurant as others were out on the patio. The food was very good and unusual dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
